also I think i'll try a forge strike hit build with the primordial spear. you get the bonus base crit from passive tree to help things out
and the spear can still scale pretty well if you only care about offense. don't need a ton of resists on gear

totally did. I still kind of struggle with those beasts I either melt them or get one tapped
They are way overturned you are going to have to learn to dodge attacks and bait them while you evade damage ceiling its pretty high of those beasts,its honestly one of the better ways to get primal items cause buying items suck sadly rift beast drop rate of their own uniques its pretty bad for some reason
I've actually gotten quite a few, I think the only reason I was told to run them is for the mats and buying ruins of evolution, but what di I know I started like 3 days ago
Its highest proccing imprint and you should only use that on both slots the extra bones and items it drop is great but the havoc runes is the biggest winner here,this runes are your big bottleneck during crafting and farming rift beasts helps a ton to get a lot of them
I see well I have no clue how to even craft anything in this game Ive just done a couple 2 lp slamms and fed the nemesis for all my gear.😂
I don't really think they're all that overtuned. they're designed to be the "pinnacle" content for the beasts and end up scaling weird due to infinite scaling on corruption

They are overturned when a really good character that has good gear gets destroyed by a 300 corr beast
Meanwhile the cave beast or rift beast which btw are also new content do a fraction of the damage of those
Some enemies have way to high of base damage of skills and need to be nerfed still,like necrotic golem or the fire mobs that can one shot if you dont evade ,hell even Some mantis or cricket or whatever they are mobs in the caves have an insane damage scaling cause I can get one shot rather easy even though I am very tanky with my lich

Beasts are fine, but I agree with necrotic golems nerf. They are at least 2-3x overturned
I love the fire circle tornado that has no input and comes out immediately and one taps or the ice barrage or get one tapped by 1 lightning bolt that cant be avoided but yeah not as infuriating as shade one shots but still I have played better mobs designed

Like nemesis doesnt have gurantee egg at early monos but once you are at like 600 corruption every nemesis has an egg ,like beast could use some boost to their drop rate table cause wow aint great

I just started a scf sentinel to try a build on a fresh start
Started with bleed/ignite hammer for like 20 ish lvl
Then got a Firestarter Torch and a Calamity
I pivoted into selfcast Smite
One of the smoothest lvl ever
I finally swap to my build at lvl 72 when i got a few uniques
Usually I go for ailment Hammer for lvling
It's just that strong

In general, the more complicated effects on uniques are not stats. Also minions can't have attributes

Yeah, the stats vs player properties issue is unfortunate. It's not specifically intentional that they don't work for minions, they just don't work and it would be a lot of work to make them work, apparently.

longer answer: theres no flat -cooldown node on its tree so you deal with the fact that every 100% cdr cuts the cooldown in half... if you stack cdr on gear and get full lightforged node you can get like 200% cdr? so very short cooldown, don't think its better than just having no cooldown

lookin at it in game right now. the mistake i made is that logi's hunger gives Fire Minion skills ranks, not just fire skills

The casts from wisps seems to not be affected by skill trees

As it is now, it reduces your ignite damage when fire converted, and does nothing for time rot when void converted

Passive income, if you can handle the increased difficulty of everything being enraged. A lot of things count as echo objectives, even when they are not the current objective.
t5 channel cost t4 flat mana and then resists at like t3 and 4
Best method is mapping play a lot while doing rift beasts and rampant coast that id thr best way also troves are quite good,I personally dont like making mobs more deadly so I skip enrage weaver tree points

I’ve done that my self several times trying to get a super big upgrade and ended up with nothing or a very small one because i ran out of FP. When i could have crafted a pretty decent upgrade.
Now i take it in smaller steps.
The odds of hitting that full craft with how FP works, is so small
well I had like 30 fp until I needed to add the mana affix

Fp cost to upgrade from tier to tier shouldn't be this high at most a t4 to t5 should be like 12 ,many of the fp uses like havoc ,rune evolution should have adjusted fp cost cause you click 3 things and a 50 fp item is gone

As long you get a shattered worlds relic and a good weapon rolled you beat uber easy cause you can abuse time faith when he is invulnerable and you hit pretty hard ty to plus 6 to skills, I think you end up with like a ton of flat

Cause your attack speed doesn't double but increase void does ty foe cleaver getting 768 increase void is bonkers
All your more modifiers are way stronger you get plenty of attack speed enough to make up for it
You also save 4 point of crit and dump those into 2 attack more damage ,it almost hits as hard as third one

I will say this exalts 2t7 are very hard to get from prophecies imprint and nemesis conquered tower or in general its the best way to get 2 t7 gear and higher
so just run the nemesis towers for 2 t7
Yes hope you get lucky once imprint your best 1 t7 axe and hope for upgrade from imprint proc it happens sometimes
oh you can egg exalts
For example I got a 3t7 helmet and doing troves 1 hour after it upgraded to 4t7
No only uniques but nemesis can upgrade exalts when you empower

Warpath is workable as a starter but you won’t be oneshotting stuff and you’ll be running out of mana without investment.
That being said, I’ve done it on HC from the second I got the skill, so it is possible.
But I know how to build and gear properly

I learned that the hard way by creating a decent exalt and saw that I can't slam it at Julra :))

They are primordial, but the reason you can't slam them is just because they are always sealed, and sealed affixes are ignored by the cache
(also prevents us from slamming champion affixes)
Have a shield with 1LP and for the slam I must choice between + block chance or health. Better to reach 100% block or have 200 extra hp? (Actually have 3000hp and 93% but will drop to 75% changing the shield)
If you are wearing a shield ,then getting 100% block chance has priority over anything then block effectiveness is second best stat

You are doing judgement pally consecrated ground its gonna take a long time to kill uber,specially cause you are very undergeared and should not tried it yet
No cause then it would be op ,turtle is a natural reroll with nothing affecting it corruption or bonus cof does nothing
i believe cof rank 8 does affect turtle, frozensentinel did a test with ~1200 rings and posted his results here (also seems logical as otherwise why would non tagged rings get cof tag after being turtled)

Judgement got really messed up when they buffed frailty 50 % healing loss per stack is pretty bad thus you need to cleanse constantly to do damage

heres a very quickly thrown together update for it, the gear needs to be redone has sentinel has wayyy tf more crit than when I originally made this (drop the skull for a shield or the scepre for something that comes with actual flat spell damage)
the intention behind all the crit is so timewave (subskill of anomaly) has capped crit chance
The build basically has you nuke anything scary with anomaly (it also makes the bubble which is a source of void shred for bosses) while maintaining dorbs (for damage and more shred) and filling any cooldown time with void smites
smite tip: echoing the void smite stacks with the chance to double smite node
This was also trying to see how low i could get anomaly's cooldown, in practice don't try to do that its not worth stacking CDR to this extent

vessel of strife can also be dropped for really anything else, I just threw that into the planner because I already had one with a cast speed slam on it when I made this
also timewave's info card (not shown is the fact that each anomaly can cast 2 of theses and gives it 250% more damage)
the vitality scaling on this does work despite anomaly not coming with a scaling tag (taking a timewave node adds the scaling tag for vitality)
then also every void spell gives flat void damage based on your vitality stat so we stack tf outa that... which does make the build somewhat %increased damage hungry due to not getting that from our main stat

Tbh judgement aura paladin is a bit boring but way less boring than the non-aura one
The non-aura one is just pure tank and cheese to death
The aura one provide high dps and its tankiness is no lesser than any 2 hand builds
That said, for me judgement has the worst holy/fire visual in this game.
Doing non aura and basically you stand still mauling to death things (their death or yours).
Sounds terrible but to be honest doesn’t feel particularly slow. At least until about 1000 cor. Never attempted more, for now.
And probably I will not. The idea of redropping everything at 2 LP, drop the right exalted for the imprints, just to attempt a boss sounds not particularly interesting. At least with this build. Maybe you have some suggestions about another character to level up which is more engaging in the long term?
Well maybe our goal is different. Mine is just to find builds with most dps to kill uberroth and high corruption shade.
For me it's worth changing gear to aura version since the non aura is very boring
and it sucks against uberroth

It does proc though and it can happen on the very first mana pool. I thought it was my void essences not being at 3, but devouring orb prevents that by itself. Then though maybe I'm getting cc'd out or something, but it always happens when void well is procc'd so it's too consistent for cc.

Both can make uber easily killable and Rive has only gotten buffs nowdays
rive + void cleave + erasing strike + sigils of DESPAIR + healy hands
you can pry my season starter from my cold void ridden hands, but even then good luck because it will of fused with my cold void ridden hands

someone did a ruby fang forge guard a while back for a build contest a while back, it looked surprisingly playable
but yeah as far as dot sentinels go bleed timerot and ignite are all great options, poison isn’t exactly particularly well supported lol

Pretty sure it also doubles ailment chance (like ignite or shred armor), not that this would be relevant to your case. Maybe shred armor? But it would depend on other factors, so flat melee void and inicreased void are generally better.

Warpath does a damage tick every so often to enemies inside the warpath AOE
If an enemy enters between the ticks they take a tick of damage instantly then get on track for the regularly scheduled damage ticks
Its a smaller qol thing, its better to just keep the enemy in the zone once their in it

Ok I explain a Crapton of stuff to anyone that dm me or ask me , if I know what I am talking about maybe I am wrong but I feel like for melee build overall army of skin is better overall specially for vk melee builds,darkstride is second best nowdays ,unless you doing uber and need like thr melee crit boots usually it goes like that foot of the mountain is a bad pair of boot for warpath,rive,and erasing strike its good for reflect and other builds like rogue can abuse them for sure but ain't my cup of tea boots cause moving faster at over 100 ms is usually better
I even spend an hour and sometimes 3 hours helping someone with the build and understand the systems that took me a while to understand

Usually, yeah, army of skin is better. At max roll the more damage is like 18.2% more damage overall, it makes 1 shots easier, and also gives attack speed. Not to mention it's much easier to get high lp. FotM is only better when you’re specifically stacking stats, or you really need that reduced mana cost

You definitely care about max crit implicit stats are very important too ,melee void flat,then idk for certain either melee crit multiplier or increase void t7

tho remember incoming damage can only convert once
ie: with the 50% of incoming ele dmg to void node, you'll still take void damage from an incoming ele hit, even with this equipped
but dont forget making an exalted item with a T8 affix counts as a primordial item
The relic that boost idols is good for the build until uber gear,the frenzy crown gives ton dps for the build , getting t8 on helmet idk vitality maybe or anomaly

ES has been nerfed. Maxroll is cool but is not pro. Lots of good builds are missing, itemisation is not good on some of their builds...
For exemple their bossing tier S list has only 2 builds : ES and warpath.

the best smite build i ve tested (on UA) is dual wield smite (aurelis+mad alchemist). it s squichier and more gear intensive than maxxroll one. most balanced build is the maxroll i guess

But I don't know enough to know what's endgame viable and/or I know some things are actually bugged and don't work as announced so I'd rather rely on experiences from more expert players who KNOW what works 😂
Rive has multi-scaling with vit and is pretty good
smite scales with vitality (renouncment in vk tree) and is endgame viable. rive void knight has some scaling with vit. void cleave scales with vit too and is endgame viable.i don t know any build (exept rive) using vk skills and vit and endgame viable, sorry.

This is the build planner I orignally made (like 3 seasons ago) for wizard vk.. the tree and stuff is updated the gear sorta is. The gear on the planner is for giga crit with the funny over crit amulet because I already had one, if your not gonna use that 100% drop crit chance from the build theres a crap ton of it
Harby Scepter note: Its flat spell damage is ass but as a void spell vk you get 2 flat spell damage per vitality (1 per vit for smite) so we don't actually care about that and can make use of its big flat crit effect
Also due to not getting %increased damage from our main stat... this build is hella %increased damage hungry... honestly grabbing a random scepter/wand/whatever with %increased void and %increased spell damage can cover you for a while (assuming you got your vitality up already)
Skill use is as follows
- Anomaly: Giant nuke button + shred from the bubble
- Smite: Main filler spell, smites double smite node and echos proc independently from each other and can stack... also the mana regen skill via time and faith
- Devouring Orb: Keep it up for bonus damage (20% more void dmg with 90+ vit), void essences and shred
- Symbol of
despairhope: its here for the giant stat boost we get for just having the symbols of despair around - Put whatever mobility skill you like the most into the final skill slot

Erasing strike has faster burst but in a long fight warpath will destroy the boss faster plus clear better
yea the clear is deff there I got to admit .. and the move speed on the run
I don't think smite can compare to an optimized warpath you can use potion effect swapping item and uber dies in less than a minute
Like I do troves and the warpath guy clear and boss sort better than mine lich cause min max hard unless its burst bosses

i saw a 26 sc UA warpath kill so i agree, but i don t like swapping stuff. if you don t swap, damage is the same as smite ^^
60% added damage,20%less ms and 40% less application of ailments idk ability has negatives but man spin to win just works,i do hope some of them get touched and reduced for better qol would be nice to do ailments with warpath

Maxroll ain't perfect but warpath clear is number 1 and bossing is in the top

warpath has the move speed malus as balancing for endless spin I guess
the application of aliments is because warpath hits at twice your attack speed or something like that

And smite vk devouring orb for me one of the best mage fantasy i ever played, only beating that was static orb mage before it got gutted .

u have no heal problem with smite VD once you get world eater (node in vk tree)

i tried a bleed vengeance build, it s been weaker than a multistrike bleed build. multistrike bleed is stronger because the nodes have higher damage. i made it to the final UA phase (with multistrike), but couldn t kill him, maybe a lack of skill.
i tried an electrify javelin/smite build with the T8 champion affix. I think there could be some potential there but I couldn't figure out how to handle the mana costs
this one. shit turns the screen into a rave

it might be better with hammer throw, but you lose the inherent electrify synergies

the problem is sustaining the damage output. There's 100% a build there somewhere with that T8 champion affix. I got it randomly doing the woven echo and immediately thought that it could be something cool

base mana cost is 27 with siege barrage and 4/4 divine fury
you can cut off 9 with 3 points in excellent balance

Spears lack a lot of raw support that other weapon types get
Main reason to use them is for something special like on a unique or one of the few skills that prefer spears (like javelin or viper strike)

you need a good reason to use a spear over other weapon types. that specific champion affix only shows up on spears
one of the starter nodes on the Forge Guard tree gives +5% base crit when holding a spear so it can help smooth out your crit gearing until you get stronger weapons

plus the node at the bottom that makes anomaly apply increased void dmg taken to things it hits
also the time wave card (and remember each anomaly makes 2 of these with 250% more dmg)

And every res contribute for something or it’s 0 or 20 reduction? For example if I have 95 to elemental, 75 necrotic, 85 poison and 90 void, how much dr I get?
Ok how it works is that item gives 20 dr max but that is separate from each resistance so let's say i have 95 cold res and 115 fire res ,item is giving me 20 dr for fire res but only 10 dr for cold res, you 115 res to reach max cap dr for every resistance
