I love vk caster but its one spell idk and its not s tier or a tier by any means maybe low a tier
iām pretty sure multistrike smite is more damage than rive already (i havenāt tested rive but based on what iāve seen/heard) and selfcast is less damage but you also get the benefit of being one of the tankiest builds in the game

Been experimenting with a lot of different builds and Iām struggling to find one that has more front loaded raw power for early endgame than judgement. Just casual thousands of dps in shit gear, insane healing and ward gen right out of the gate
Warpath eventually gets better but the transition to mana stacking feels a bit clunky. Probably better to league start as judgement to easily get all faction passive upgrades for better farming

Leech has always being superior and you can still use vengeance with no targets with passive,if enemies cant hit me cause they are dead I take a lot less damage.

Using it just for the ignite chance from fire res is okay, but not sure there's any mana stacking builds that you'd do that on. Maybe warpath, assuming the mana ramp node works on ailments, don't remember if it does, but still you'd be missing nice ignite prefix.

you could move the two outmost squares from the top to the two bottom corners as well. that gives you access to 4 1x4s. same if you do left->right with 4 4x1s

could you imagine if they make furnace actually playable
it needs like a 200% buff to its ADE/s. The main SW hit is 600% and has all the crit/hit modifiers to take advantage of, and it's still not a very good skill. It makes some chonky hits but just isn't good enough

once you're done with the campaign, the monolith is your progression
work your way through each timeline and kill the bosses at the end of them. you don't have to be the same level as the area to complete them
What about dungeons ? Prefer them first or just leave for now ?
once you kill one of the three at the end of the monolith(Spirits of Fire, Last Ruin, Age of Winter) then you'll fight your first harbinger and unlock empowered monoliths. That is where the actual endgame grind begins

The Entwined tech maybe is stronger but idk how much of a pain its is to get going
every entwined build I've tried putting together has been a pain because of the crafting
you can get like, 60-70% of the way there easily
but getting the rest is such a slog
Meanwhile you can use erasing strike with 2 hand beacon 3 lp rain a lot and you literally get t7 slow t7 void damage ,then t5-7 damage over time or penetration void
You get 60%more damage from beacon so thats good and extra skills is essential for us
2 idols with time rot and void damage over time ,then idk you can get likr 2 idols with 40 %damage over time and 60 slow chance for more rotgrip acaling

I just put Somnia on my Lava Burst Foge Guard and it's pretty insane
overall I have close to 300% increased stun chance and Im reliably stunning entire screens even at 1500c+
That's nice. But btw you can still stun bosses (like shades) with that too right?
Since I'm not sure if 300% stun chance is sufficient for bosses.
ocassionally I will stun a boss, but it's not that consistent
i managed to slam a triple exalted on somnia, so I didnt have to sacrifice any damage for it

I'd reccomend using Heavy'z Casual loot filter and filling out the rule for affixes you want with affixes your build wants... I'm lazy when it comes to my loot filter so I used Heavy'z as a base a lot
You could also import your build into LE TOOLS and use their filter generator tool

spending the time to make your own is better overall, but I've used Heavy'z filters forever
Frozen Sentinel also has a CoF Filter but you'd need to tailor it to your build

i mean itās pretty impactful even on my smite vk which doesnāt have nearly as many shared scaling vectors so i would assume itās a decent chunk of damage (and also, helps maintain application of support ailments)

Well, in theory you should manually cast, but apparently this node has been bugged forever and you can cast indirectly. Don't know if they fixed that recently, but i don't think so.
No indirect cast apply the buff and maybe its a bug but its a feature nowdays

Idk what you want to do either vengeance does bleed or forge strike focus on one and to be honest paladin is better at bleed ,also I would use sigil of hope more increase damage and chance to apply ailments that will get converted to bleed
Agree. For me right now forge guard is best at shield abilities, paladin at non-shield abilities that cannot be converted to void

Paladin and Forge Guard can both unbelievably tanky and clear content though they ofc wont be the fastest
Sentinel in generally is quite naturally tanky.
The penance+redemption nodes in paladin allows bleed to deal increased damage, and you can scale endurance threshold for bleed duration

Can be bleed, ignite, throw hit or spell hit

You need the 5 points into flat crit passive vk tree ,sigil of hope ,anomaly crit maxed both,crit chance on 1 ring,if you ever kill uber you get flat from shattered worlds i dont rememberif you can grt crit chance on relic,rive has some flat crit on tree
flat crit on your weapon is an option if you're still in the part of gearing where you're relying on exalts
idk if Rive still uses Apathy's Maw or not, but that doesn't have flat crit on it iirc

That build is a safe build but its mapping ain't great follow a guide until you learn more about the game and its uniques if you feel underwhelmed
yea I dont hate judgment, single target is crazy good but the mana drain is really bad and if you are with mobile mobs it kind of sucks, even loot lizards just get away sometimes š

One positive thing about last epoch is alt creation and trying different builds is a cake walk cause its a lot easier to get going than in other arpgs
i am just a bit blind when it comes to sentinel specifically, I am used to rogue this is my first time actually properly playing it
the playstyle is very different
rogue i didnt really care about defence past surface level
Sentinel has the best class specific gear in terms of raw defense, always be upgrading your helmet and body armor bases.
This also continues into the late game with leonine helmet and champions regalia giving you a silly amount of raw armor, reduced bonus dmg from crits and armor applies to dots
Like a leonine helmet has more raw armor than most body armors in the game
And thatās not counting its huge crit defense part
And paladin passives are stacked with free resistances which makes gearing super easy

Holy aura and symbols giving a ton of defensive benefits, block chance

Paladin is better since you get more attunement, resistances, and holy aura. The only real benefit of FG is if you want to use a 2 handed weapon
I wouldn't say its gigabroken. It's very easy to build for, but even reflect pali only farms at ~1k corruption, which most builds can do, and it still not great for uberroth
just need to find another 4LP so you can reroll that +1 void skills to +2

I mean when you literally need a 1 lp in most gear,and you need chest and a shield that drops with a ton lp chance and every class can abuse it its broken

the optimal way to level any character starting from level 35 all the way until like level 90 is to play reflect. it farms giga fast with zero gear and can do uber in like 3 minutes with 1lps, and it somehow requires even less input than warpath to play. itās gigabroken

The only other notable reasons you listed were 1) Its good at farming - Yeah, there are other builds that are also just as good if not better at speed farming, and 2) It can do uberroth in 3 mins with 1lp gear - But you don't mention that's not only Primalist, which has much higher damage than paladin, and it still takes ~3 minutes even with 2lp and 3lp gear. And there's 10+ builds at least that can do uberroth faster with 1lp gear too, let alone 2lp+
Again, the only broken thing about it is that it's too easy to build for. Speed farming isn't shocking. Doing uberroth in 3 minutes isn't revolutionary.

symbols of hope generates them when its on your bar, you get the passive effects from each stack/symbol it generates and they just chill. Hitting the skill's button triggers its activate effect

I am kinda done with this but let me point out this guy gear is 36 hour playing the builds is quite whatever his idols are crap his gear is again ok at most and he still kill uber with less than 3k health I am sure I would had same success with my warpath having that much mediocre gear progression so idk seems kinda bonkers dont you think,idk nothing more need to be said i feel like we done.

Saw that shaman video. Sure, mid gear, 36 hours after new season, but this guy knows what he's doing. Your average guy copying maxroll wouldn't have a video to post.
I can still clear troves faster on my es vk than on my reflect shaman. Groups of four make it a lot harder on reflect shaman builds due to HP scaling.
What makes me think reflect shaman is so broken is the armor scaling with thorn shield, coupled with dodge and foot of the mountain. Granted, it's geared well, but I don't think a reflect build should be able to eat all three triple flail, or eat Uber fire meteors, or eat the first phase of Uber's super laser.
Im new in this game, leveling my 1st Sentinel (85 actually) and just started empowered monolith. Currently im having fun with a paladin with fire warpath and judgement, but itās an hybrid so I doubt it will be good when corruption will rise. Any suggestion for the final build, so I can start hunting for gear? (Im playing offline so I donāt care about leaderboard or megahyper corruption levels)

But don't equip anything that has "damage dealt to mana before health"
That will deplete your mana very quickly and makes judgement aura useless. Just use your mana purely for dps and you are fine enough since paladin is very tanky anyway.

Not really, but I think most people play paladin til like L85 then make the switch? Until you get immortal vise, use grasp of the blood mage or eternal gauntlets. Use anchor of oblivion until you get shattered worlds.
Don't use hastened cataclysm (erasing strike) until you have 1400 mana and truesight glass. Use the node that removes es cooldown instead and follow a more conventional es vk guide.
Have zero gear to play any kind of vk, I presume Iāll have to put a proper filter on and grab a āstarting kitā or something like that

Most of it is accessible on a new character, save for shattered worlds and vise. Chains can be irritating. Definitely add the idols to your filter. Make sure your world splitter has the .3% of skill cost to flat crit
I don't have any step by step planner. I just wore crap, filled in gaps with idols and blessings, and just kept swimming.
With new vk tree its very easy to play from start , its not like try making a build with zero gear like i had to do to play primalist or acolyte

I've played Smite multistrike Paladin in Tombs, Erasing Strike Voidknight in Ancient Skies, so next season is time for Forge Guard. I want to build for Forged Weapons. Which of these two have more potential in your opinion:

I do not care about uber but if the build is uber capable then its great. I used the second one a little bit and its royal pain in the butt to keep resummoning the weapons constantly and getting the perfect roll for the weapon in the first place. I get it that shield bash or reflect is currently probably better, but I'd like to give smol flaming swords a chance

Despite getting nerfed, counterance is still great
Forged weapons do not inherit attributes and complicated affixes (like event horrizonās stacking dmg and slow)
i should play a forged weapon build some day
i've only ever used them as a way of getting ignites up for SW

Idk forgeweapons have some problems like why they have to scale with attunment instead of strength forgeguard gets quite a bit of strength on its passive tree and you will 2 hand a weapon
Make it 50%more attack speed and 50%more damage and make them scale with strength like not hard to fix them or improve them

Kinda? Pretty sure the corruption mechanic with Confluence of Oblivion works the same in offline mode, but each build requires the same run through the campaign for idols, passives and attributes rewards.
can't you just save a copy of all the save files, keep going and then when you wanna try something new delete the current ones and replace them with the old copy?

If you try to get them you will have quite a few ,just not as easy to obtain than falcon fist for example

Desintegrating aura is good like you go one shooting bosses with the kind of gear we have access to nowdays but it would be cool if anyone tried to fight uber with it or dummy tests
First time doing that build with like some stuff put around Lagon was dead before phases
it's good, but they are big defensive boost, and I'm not sure you need that in SC on your char
you also need to cleanse their proc
Itās okay, not the best Hammer Throw setup atm. Was better with old Volatile Reversal and is best paired with other DoT mechanics/ailments. Void Cleave Aura and the throw dmg from there, Time Rot, Doom, etc.
Honestly imo the sentinel reworks limited Sent more than it helped but thatās only in build creativity not necessarily limited great builds. Idk if thatās a hot take or not, but I used to love theorycrafting on sent, now I hate it, so might be me
Volatile Crutch being gone is a good thing imo

i mean honestly symbols of hope is sorta the same now in terms of how every sentinel build uses it

Idk sentinel feels like one of the more boring classes to theorycraft on. Having a rework that didn't benefit that is seen as a pretty big miss to me.
are there good unique two handed swords good for a Rive Void Knight?
spirit xylem honestly leaves you in a pretty bad spot in terms of tankiness. sure, youāll have a lot of maxhp and titan heart, but so much of paladinās defensive identity is tied to having block. you do get the upside of being able to generate ward through twisted heart, but even then, tankiness ends up way worse. and instead of needing to stack mana and dedicate a skill spec (usually abyssal echoes) basically entirely for the purpose of dumping mana, where vks can get a comparable amount of flat while also having their entire mana pool to use for strong skills and be able to mana tank with seed of ekkedrasil
If this node was like idk 4 seconds buff at least thats would be great buff for desintegrating aura

Idk, at least judgement aura spirit xylem gives you tons of dps that you don't really need a lot of block, simimar to javelin or crit hammer paladin. Problem is, smite spirit xylem does not give you enough dps like judgement aura.
the throwing builds also have more access to tankiness in other areas, and it's always gonna be compared to vk, who gets better tankiness returns from stacking vit than pala does for stacking att
And I actually don't want to use seed of ekkedrasil along with judgement aura
and even with xylem att is worse than mana affixes dps wise

last season pala was fairly comparable to vk for selfcast but t8 benefitted vk way more than xylem benefits pala

yes, i played it for like 3 months, it's not the craziest dps but i was farming 2500c pretty comfortably
it can do uber pretty easily too but i usually used lich for that for more dps

it's more dps for sure but it's much less tanky and playstyle of selfcast is better imo, i tested both and they're fairly comparable overall but i prefer selfcast

null portent/titan heart with t8 leonine is less survivability than t8 champ regalia with seed, the only reason you go t8 helm on multistrike is bc mana is unsustainable with seed on that version

Malus is 8% for dw. It's not that squishy. I didn t even see the difference on UA
There's also opportunity cost. You take 8% more damage in addition to losing all the DR you get from a shield.

yea i mean -8% dr is bad on its own but itās primarily the opportunity cost, sentinels best defensive gearing options primarily revolve around either block or titan heart. i probably wouldnāt use shield with multistrike though (dps would be pretty bad), I generally did staff for multistrike as it enables (imo) best balance of tankiness and dps
iām not overly concerned with uber kill times though as I just use my lich to farm uber. Usually every other build Iāll kill him once or twice just for the sake of it but if iām actually gonna farm him itās gonna be on lich

Omnis is a generally strong amulet still. If you get lucky with the rolls it can solve a lot of your resists for you

sentinel is a pretty good candidate for it since you can get so many resists from the tree. you can much more easily afford to dump suffixes and go hard on full damage exalted blues

Its hard to balance exalts ,they need to have very strong implicit to make an unique with slams on it worse than wearing the exalts,gloves eternal were bis and strong but now grasp and uber gloves outclass the exalt gloves by a ton

Keep all 1 lp splitters for rerolling until you have a perfect roll one then slam t7 melee crit and if you get 2 lp t7 melee attack speed as second stat,2 lp splitter even if nemesis bricked or slam bricked keep them for rerolling ,after that all 1 lp splitter go to turtle in hope they become 2 lp and when they fail back to 0 lp you put them back into nemesis its recycling

This look fine you just need more time to get better gear t7 t6 and some day t7 t7 on most slots ,use imprint system in the weaver tree to upgrade your exalts and get you better gear while you play,also whenever you can try get leonine helm with channel cost t8 need rune evolution, t7 does good job,also idk if you know what echo to imprint in weaver tree but rampant coast is best cause it procs a ton,
Go kill abomination and farm his gold blessing closer to max better you are going to need that for bones farm,also in weaver tree gold boost you are going to want for some reason gold boost makes more bones drop,so you can buy more stuff from merchant and engage with rift beast system

In 1.0 lighless was fine people were selling items for billions so you can afford to waste gold and time on that ,nowdays I rather be doing group play troves or mapping on my own doing prophecy etc than wasting time on that
The boss is also annoying to farm not like soulfire dungeon boss or julra you pop out he dies in seconds can farm a ton like that
dungeons have just kinda been outpaced by the weaver tree
like lightless is still good as a big ol goldsink for CoF
Corruption and the Weaver tree should influence lightless arbor them
I would love to get some weaver tree interaction with dungeons beyond the key drops

Charms are a cool concept they could revisit too. I think realistically they're gonna rework the dungeons entirely before they add more layers of interaction though

let them be earnable by beating the regular dungeon
