It works quite nicely for flame burst + HH + divine bolts, maybe some smites for good measure. Not giga dps, but enough, also tanky and lots of explosions

HE gives you flat and Pen
extra thing to add, if your weapon has + melee physical/void/fire/lighting/etc. damage on it, that does not get converted to your skills damage type.
If for example, on your void converted warpath get a weapon with +melee physical damage, that physical damage will scale with %increased physical damage, if you have +melee lighting damage, then that lightning damage will scale with %increased lightning damage
both will scale with %increased melee damage, as that doesnāt care for damage type, just that its melee

matching your affix for extra flat melee damage to your skills damage type is what you want to do, so you did that right
the point was converting a skill from physical to void damage only affects the generic + melee damage in the implicit part of the item that doesnt have a damage type

its a wacky skill given its a channeled melee skill you move during

The implicit melee damage of weapons that is general melee damage gets converted to the damage type the skill does ,now you can have a weapon with melee void damage and melee fire,lightning cold etc,the skill will use all of then but is always better more efficient to concentrate on one damage type instead of split types
So I can have a warpath doing 100 melee void and 100 melee fire the skill will use both to do damage ,but since i am a void knight and my skill is void converted and most of my skill and passives are about boosting void damage ,the 100 fire damage wouldn't get enough scaling to be good

I will add that in this game a skill can let's say only by physical converted but you can just pump flat fire and pump fire damage from skills passive and you can scale the skill damage that way doesnt need to follow the skill conversion. Most skills have a very low base damage so you can make it do any damage you Want

Yup
In that build, divine bolt is just a lil extra spell for like 1 passive and 1 HH point, it's primarily a flame burst build
HH could be either spell or melee, up to preference. I think I did melee HH for more flame burst and smite procs on single targets, but iirc dps-wise they were fairly similar
(Granted, the last time I did this was before veng had 100% iron blades chance, so I reeeally wanted more melee hits, nowadays spell HH is probably better)

Mostly seems to affect your minions' leashing distance, they get a longer leash when aggressive.

Long time ago it was the strongest way to scale healing hands as a dps skill that also would get you 50k ward like nothing and more ,nowdays skill is rather weak as a solo dps ability.

twisted heart cares about directly casted elemental spells, not just the fire tag... I think judgement doesn't technically count as as a direct spell? cause its melee attack that triggers the spell part

lots of builds use it just for the stats yeah
I aim for the increased health first and forestmost, 1% leech is more than enough for a late game build so those rolls aren't terribly important, leech rate is okay, phys res is okay
more importantly is making sure your resistance rolls (on other gear) are good to max out the less dmg taken
speaking of which, if you build can spare it, do the 15 point branch into vk's passive tree
okay, I see, I have 2 pages of 1LPs of this. I'll go for a +20% health and 36% phy res, and see what else I get
this is really good for 15 points to boost your defense
dark maw is the only %increased health before a mastery class cut off (in sentinel) and abyssal endurance is just generally good

Void knight is stronger than pally unless you are going to level up with hammer throw just level with void knight there is a 2 handed sword unique that if it drops your void knight just cruises through early game midgame

Depends on you build but the answer is almost always āone of the four skills that base sentinel has a passive to make into a mana generatorā
So multistrike, rive, smite, and vengeance iirc
Usually at least of one those will synergize with whatever youāre doing
dont forget the time and faith passive doesn't require you to hit things to get mana for using the 4 skills that trigger it
that guide that i sent is the one that im leveling with in the campaign
That build uses void well to sustain mana. If youāre not to that point yet you might just temporarily slot a mana gen skill and respec later
not sure if im at that point yet. the oribiting orbs said something about a void essence and increased mana gen, but it doesnt feel like its doing anything really
devouring orbs has a node that grants you a void essence on it expiring -> void well consumes 3 void essences to get you some mana when you run out of mana
the loop works where your mana pool is big enough that the amount void well restores (which is a % of your max mana pool) is enough to keep killing stuff until void well happens again
I would use vengeance in the meantime if you need fast mana hp refill damage reduction it gives and more damage are useful for now

Just want to ask one thing: In non-minion builds, which is better for forge guard and which is better for paladin? Since I see that some build like ignite shield rush and shield bash is used by forge guard in maxroll while javelin or hammer is used by paladin.
you mean empowered like completing all the islands once full right
In general, pally is "better". Shield bash is on FG because using 2h + shield is very good for it, and only FG can do that. I'm not sure why they did FG for shield rush ignite, maybe they just wanted more builds for FG on the site.
Paladin and Forge Guard have a lot of builds in common.
Usually Paladin is more dmg
And FG can get block with a 2h, so often you end up a bit tankier

I created a new meme build that turned out not so bad... Lava Burst Forge Guard utilizing Primal Cadence primordial. Currently at 500c and it has really good clear speed. you'd have to fix up defences and I'm not sure aboutr crit, but you could run +4 shield throw on helm, get the block -> dmg nodes, remove the fraility/armour shred points as you have sufficient chance from what I can tell, then 1 point from the stolen armor and get the more fire damage in tree to look like the below tree. That should be more dmg. You could also run a single smite on throwing hit idol and take smite over forge strike, think it gives you more with attack speed and also scales with everything you scale lava burst with. idk what your armor is at, but it's likely near cap even without the armor blessing, could run fire res shred blessing and take Health or spell crit on amulet to ensure you cap crit.
oh guess you'd have to fix res with the block node too

Btw might I ask which weapon is the best for warpath void knight? I saw some guys killing uberroth in like 25 secs using clotho's needle but require insane snapshotting in fight. I wonder why using clotho's needle in that case. If you have like 1200 mana then world splitter gives you 120% crit multiplier when clotho give you 90% at most. Also world splitter gives more void damage than clotho. So why is it the case?

Both weapons are not really far off each other in terms of flat melee damage. Its around 20 flat dmg difference. If i were to use world splitter with att speed it would probably be like a 50% crit multi or so difference. But really the big thing about clotho is the attack speed rate of it being 1.1 while ws is 0.89. So any increased attack speed scales better with a higher att rate and the fact that warpath hits at twice attack rate so youāre getting way more hits per swings than a ws
But iād probably say stick with worldsplitter if you canāt do the item switching and applying all the buffs every few seconds mid spin
lp1 world splitter is much easier to aquire than a good rolled clothos, you'll have 4 tabs of shit rolled clothos before you find a good one.

I replaced forge strike with smite and youāre absoluty right. It greatly boosted throwing speed. Fully buffed Iām currently at 4 throws / second. Smite also further improved the clear speed and I pretty much instantly delete everything on the screen at 700c
It does apply to Lava Burst hit dmg (useless if you do ailment dmg for exemple)

you can do the switching with ws too but clothos is the superior weapon if you do that

Judgement paladin is much harder against uberroth now because you need to melee him and your fragility stacks insanely high if you do so.

two paladin builds, one for lightning and one for fire is the best
Stuffs that I know are strong are
- Rive/Vengeance + HH (melee)
- Divine Bolts (but bossing is kinda meh)
- Judgement Ground stacking
- Judgement Aura
- Shield Throw (the throw version is better than spell but spell is decent)
I tested judgement+shield throws+fire warpath so far. Damage is similar

dodge the projectiles while staying in my triangle of safety from the star pattern shot
that's is much harder when actually do it. After I finished dodging the meteors the black holes immediately shoot stars and every objective (star, meteor) can one shot me.
It's very hard to dodge this combo.
If your having troubles dodging everything put rebuke onto your skill bar
Donāt spec it just put it there and use it when your gonna get hit by it
80% damage reduction will let you tank it⦠just time the usage of rebuke
If you die through rebuke⦠your build need more not die
Hi guy, I took a look at maxroll's shield bash forge guard build and saw that the "wall of solarum" node gives 30% block chance. However, in game, that node only gives 3% block chance. Is there some mistake here?

the main reason i went with spell dmg, is because of the idols, and because of julra rings. with +35% inc attack speed and almost 200% inc spell dmg, multyping it by 3, gives us crazy burst

it doesn't have to hit the enemy. it can just richocket from shields

It's a bit complicated, there's the small chance to drop them when damaging a boss which is greatly reduced when you're full on potions, but then also slightly reduced if there's any nearby potions on the ground and reduced ever further if there are at least enough nearby potions to bring you to full potions. Then, overall, there is a rate limit. Some of those modifiers have been shared, but I'm away from my computer right now.

and you can replace swadding of the erased for more damage if you experiment offline

I got a little more hp, armor and more block chance, block effectiveness
but optimal damage against boss require to stay in melee range
because the shield will bounce between your summoned ring of shields
so we need to stay melee in boss so that the explosions will overlap

you lose 2 nodes that give +6% damage and a ricochet node
and our damage needs the shield to richochet on as many mainfested shields as possible to trigger a lot of explosions
Good thing with Pyre is you get a lot of self ignite > Easy stacks on Immolator
i just tested by adding two richochet nodes that cost more mana (without removing other nodes) and the damage is indeed better
also I suggest you try uberroth when you have good gear (like pyre and shield throw crit chance) because you tanked shade of orobyss at 1500+ corruption already so you should have no problem tanking uberroth. However the fight might be sleepy because you are basically facetanking and wait for him to die from your damage.
btw @manic cradle you might want to include this in your guide. I learned it the hard way when trying dummy.

Since youāre bouncing off allies that would give you more procs on ST but make it a 2 button combo at that point.

I tried a fire version and saw that its dps is okay but not very tanky without shield, while using shield will lose 20% dps
for me the huge problem with this build is that it scales too much with weapon
so if you got a good 5 t7 and 1 t8 weapon then your minion are very good otherwise they are not
and the build not as tanky as shield bash and possibly shield throw
due to less armor and block chance
and getting such weapon is realistically impossible
also, how do you think about the fire vs physical version?
fire version can get buff by void cleave but might be more difficult to play
while physical get buff by dinosaur but the buff might not as good as void cleave
Void cleave buff is way better than going trex and yes getting a t8 weapon with t7 flat or attack speed is hard but definitely worth it to scale damage
you need at least: t8 fire pen, t7 attack speed, t7 flat fire melee, t7 flat melee crit
optional: t7 minion melee and spell and t7 shred armor

because they're in the hundreds of millions of dps even with mid gear and are promoted as being some of the strongest builds of the season by high profile content creators and sites (rightfully so)
abom has some optional snapshotting but not many people do it and bear doesn't have snapshotting either, and most people dislike snapshotting

@manic cradle after experimenting and minmaxing offline I think if possible you may go for the "lethal strike" node to achieve even better dps. That node is a huge boost. It is a very good build by going for pyre axe, stack endurance and stack strength. Perfect rolled build can kill boss dummy in 17-18 seconds.

since you would like to slowly stack bleed when he has 36% health then use AE to reduce his health quickly before he can cast time shattering slam in the final phase

Hi guy, between a physical and lightning paladin, which one is better?
So far, lightning paladin allows you to roll a t8 lightning damage spear (only lightning can do so, physical needs the unique spear for AoE) and a lightning damage for throwing skill for more damage, while physical paladin receives more bonus from shield throw buff (80 physical pen).
Lightning paladin is way better and btw you shouldn't use t8 spear you use t8 Lightning helmet ,bossing is Lightning,mapping sierpin spear is better
Fractral Tree is the only spear I've managed to kill uber with on my pally, lightning I tried a bident build which was wicked for mapping at decent corr but less single dmg over all - mind you uber took flipping ages like 8-9 mins or something lol (maybe longer it was a while ago and I died dozens of times)
But is it better due to the added lightning damage from the helmet or something?
You are supposed to slam an unique spear that gives 2 to javelin you want t8 on helmet
Bident unless you do dot is really bad for javelin though

Cause lightning is mote damage straight up
And damage too
Shock pally tree has amazing nodes for lightning
And helmet is free 88 lightning damage flat
Fractal has better clear but lightning is thr uber boss killer
Btw we are talking about legit build no bs 5 t7 stuff ok

Shock is separate from shred lightning armor thats another more ,then you also. Have lightning spear you get more damage and flat the extra skills means extra damage on the tree

Also I'm not sure if I should go for t8 helmet
Since the unique spear does not have 15% lightning pen
