Hear me out. With t-rex and symbols of hope, RoS gets +40 spell damage. Forge Flames has 200% ADE/s and 20 base damage so 100 damage per second. Add in 800% Inc. Minion Damage, The 1.6x More from Fire Spin, and hit the same target with all 5 shields and it'll do... calculates furiously 7000 damage per second before area DR. Mother of god... 5 skill points for less than 1000 real dps. Could this be the new meta?
why did they make smite only cleanse on direct cast but uncapped instead of just capping the node, there are plenty of incentives for direct cast smite already
we really went from proc smite being the only way to play smite to throwing builds not even bothering to take a smite idol anymore, and it’s like the only proc skill for the entire sentinel class (well, that and AE)

I have a 1LP Seed of Ekkridasil, 1LP Reliquary Nest and 2LP decaying skull. For decaying skull helmet, I am sure T7 mana is a must, what is the other good stat I should slam? % Mana, or health?
either is fine, probably hp%. as ES you need enough the raw hp to avoid one-shots. you ideally wantto be in the 3.5k~ range
as soon as slam+ground stops 1 shotting you, the fight becomes much easier. its why his drops make the fight a joke after you get them.
i think the low-key biggest item you can get in the fight, after all the required legends, is a 2LP shattered chains with cleanse + t7 hybrid
Roger that. Right now I just slammed a T7 mana on my 1LP Seed Helmet and T7 Mana on my Nest relic. It feels so much better now on 1000C. Thank you! Gonna farm for a 2LP Blood Mage Glove (and hopefull get a T7 + Attack Speed slam)
Double mana is a must for minmax but if you need to be tanky a hp% can help ,you will still get one shot vs uber even with hp but having more than 4k can give a nice chance,in the case you use 2 big idols and rest is minor mana idols you get plenty of health and flat mana from that easily getting past 4k health with reliquary
Yeah thats what I thought as well. Currently since I have armor shred on my gloves I removed one big idol and replaced it with small mana and hp idols
The 2LP Blood Mage gloves is such a PITA to farm lol

a perfect set of eternal gauntlets, t13+ can be just as good
blood mage gloves just immediately circumvent most 1 shots due to damage delay
2LP splitter is one of those things yo udont really need, i would much rather have a 2LP shattered with cleanse + a t7 hp affix or a 2LP seed or 3LP titan heart
but splitters are super easy to farm vs those other things

Yep the confluence echo is also good for dropping plenty of shade gear,so more chances to get that as well.

Probably means combined affixes ,eternal gauntlet with mana,attack speed slam,hp and shred are very good ,thr t7 mana and t7 attack speed or at least t5 -t6 attack speed are very good

To add to what the others said it also isn’t affected by resistances. It’s pure damage if you’re familiar from the in other games.
It's functionally not even damage, doesn't scale with generic damage stats either

Yeah, only increased reflect is from the shield's attunement stacking, the regular % reflect is a totally different (and useless) stat

It's extremely flexible on the equips, since you really just care about Attunement stacking.

3lp decayed skulls aren't impossible to get. you could reroll it with either another 3lp, or if you put one in a nemesis egg and it rolls 3 affixes you could use that as fodder as well

so pretty much the biggest issue is Warslash is supposed to be the payoff for the 5/5 Warriors Fury setup

they replied well, its not thematic
so 5/5 would be way more usable if there were more options to generate mana properly

What were you using Vortex Pendant for in this build? Was it for the hit damage of the axes boosted by Scissor of Atropos/stacks of Kismet? When i theorycrafted mine i thought that wouldn't be enough that's why i put a lot of throwing damage affixes, but never actually tested it.
On another note, i was thinking if Mana Flay Liches can use Sentinel affixes (Mana%) on their Legendary items, then is it possible for other classes to use Reduced Channel Cost on helmet? Channeled Elemental Nova, Disintegrate, Ghostflame are some of the skills that come to mind.
No, % mana is a multi-class affix (requires rogue or sentinel) which is what is bugged to not apply class restrictions. Normal class-specific affixes like sentinel channel cost apply their class restriction correctly.
I'm surprised mana flay liches use a t8 melee necro over reliquary nest with all the mana idol stacking they're doing

Attunement isn't just for the flat. I also gives 2% increased with javelin and a ton of dot mitigation with this node

whereas this node gives 23% pen with 115 strength for both fire and phys
you’re giving up 4 t7 affixes for ~120 flat and ~240% increased. feels pretty steep imo.

I think it scales decently well. It also gives me an excuse to use throne of ambition
forge strike has 12% global more damage and 30% global fire pen on it in case you weren't aware
and not having flat fire on the katana is a miss imo. can probably swap the multi for it since the implicit already has it
I've done a build like this before though and I know it's fun and it works. I didn't have the patience to make it kill uberroth in 1.2, but it was perma stunning regular aberroth which was novel at the time

Yeah, I just don't know about stopping to cast it every 4 seconds. That in of itself is a dps loss
flat usually scales better, and fire will likely be your stronger damage source due to throne and it being less impacted by armor anyways
it scales with AS so it's not a problem with DW, especially if you take the lower CD nodes
Whereas javelin is mostly throw and forget, and it also gives free endurance threshold
I haven't actually played it yet though, so I'll probably make a bunch of changes
you could also use smite traversal for more AS and flat fire damage

I really can't see why you wouldn't just go two-handed mace if you want to focus fire rive. Easier access to armour shred with bhuldar's wrath, able to use titan heart, frees up your primordial slot, lets you use the champion of the forge passive, etc etc. It just seems objectively better
Ye dual wielding is faster. Can still get 113% attack speed with 2 handed though without losing much
with DW you can get like 200 - 300% though

Shield rush doesn't work because channeled skills and movement skills can't echo without special effects (like warpath and void cleave have). Also its repeat strike is not an echo.

True you can hit like 1,000 corruption and still can't kill Uberroth, he is a dream squasher, the boss of bosses. Think most gear T7 slammes even double then you have a fighting chance, plus knowing his attacks too.

Oh, it seems I lost some Phys res when I upgraded my idol. I am no more at 115
I updated it. This is the gear I use against Uber Abberoth. It is fine until 36% but then I struggle to avoid theblue beam, keep the clean on and do damage

I am trying both. I have been fighting him for over 30 hours now. Army of Skin does more damage but when there are purple puddles everywhere especially around 65% and lower, I cant sustain with it. I have a lot of LP2 Army of Skin, I could try to make a better one but I dont feel the speed is missing too much

I am also not sure if ripost is usefull with vengeance so I tried to put shred fire res. Dont see a huge difference. I am not sure with the judgment tree either. I though if the consecrated grounds were faster, it will trigger the cleanse more often so I didn t want them too long. So I dont know where to put the last point
If they are shorter they deal less dmg overall
Also Beams wise, they deal a lot of dmg, especially in the last phase where they are everywhere
If you manage to get a clean last phase with beams and puddles not everywhere you should be able to do it
Also you can "clean" the Void puddles from the balls with the Fire AoE
I am doing that. The fight is like 10 minutes. I don’t know how to force him to do the Fire attack. So I just rush to another area when there are too many puddles.
At 36%, there are like 40 puddles and probably 40 beams
Only if he is still here. My issue is that he always back off. He is quite mobile
I will try with army of kin and keeping the beams north/south at least until the second harbringer comes

Your gear is not optimized and the build cause your lacking attunment,healing effectiveness to scale your damage ,better to kill uber faster than take too long of a fight

This gloves could be good easy to get 3lps and have 16 attunment,22 fire pen, your gloves have haste and a ton of attack speed ,your boots are easy to get 2,3 lp so attunment plus whatever other affix you need could be good,every point of attunment is 1 flat damage for consecrated ground,just saying you can get better gear before you change if you like the build

I put more nodes in damage in the symbols tree and try to me mindful of the tree. I also took all the healing effectiveness tree in paladin passive. I could get it down to 30% for the first time ever but it took me 15 tries.
How good should your gears be with erasing strike to beat uber?
I guess atleast two or mor 2T7 slam, I have recommended gear with 1T7 slams and either I really REALLY suck at bossing or I miss some important slams

IF a well rolled WorldSplitter with 2lp is just enough, I can play ES again

You gotta use the node which combines Dorbs when they're close to eachother and the one which brings all Dorbs together on volatile reversal to get Dorb to do real spell damage IIRC

All Consuming doesn't say Hit Damage or reference Void Rift or Void Eruption so it seems like it should work for the spell DOT stuff

Biggest problem with devouring orb is that it asks for way to many skills ,tou have to cut corners all the time to try to make it do damage,so smite just outclassed him in the autobomber build,devouring end us doing very little damage,one day they should lower the points you need per node

As far as I understand corruption doesnt give you more chances at getting lp on the item that you put in egg nemesis,corruption only makes it more frequent that there is a nemesis on the echo,and that it always has an egg

So void warpath i got a jungle queen belt through the map empower thingy trying to figure out if i should keep using it or shattered chains (granted too low level to use chains yet) and only have 1 LP one. Jungle has 78% increased phys dmg, 38%mana regen, and 36 health as the empowered stats.
shattered chains has increased damage, flat damage, and more damage. even at 0lp there is nothing competitive with shattered chains for a melee build.

I want to use Palarus' sword with 3lp. Its sleeping too long in my stash
They both achieve the same thing except one scales dodge a little and one scales armour. Sentinel is general prefers armour and already have some reduced damage to crits in his passive tree if I recall.

No? Unless I don't understand something here, stacking two +1 dmg per 2 attr will only give you dmg if you have 2 attr, say you have 21 attunement, you'll only get +20 dmg
You would need the extra attunement to get to +22 dmg

This is true, but also with just one of the sword, you get +0.5 melee damage per attunement. In general, effects like this give continual benefit instead of being thresholds, unless specifically stated otherwise.

Wings of Discord is a cool item. It also amplifies enchants on idols. FG could probably get some mileage out of it with Iron Reflexes.

like it's a 70+350%ADE hit with a 200% more multiplier attached to it
it can definitely do damage, but I'm thinking Rive/HH may be better for the raw APS and the multi-target benefits
both of them will reliably hit multiple targets and trigger a burst on each every third attack with rive, which can be incredibly fast if you make rive attack in the 121212 pattern
it's the ability to overlap flame bursts on multiple targets which sets it apart afaict
multistrike gets diluted in multi target situations
iron blade tends to not hit everything in front of you either

you do lose out on some of the biggest mores in ST if you don't go hit

there's 3/3 75% more fire damage and ricochets are functionally a more multi

The only one you lose is the multi specific to the repeat hit, it's a strong skill for ailments

ye shield rush has a ton of ailment multis, one of my fav ailment applicators
there are a bunch of hit only multis for shield rush, it just has so many generic mores as well that it doesn't really matter

Paladin is the easiest to go, nice sustain and damage. Javelin holy trail and judgement consecrated ground seems strong and easy, but i'm far from behing an expert

he could use warpath for like a minute, maybe two with significant investment in mana regen
still worse than stacking mana and using void well on VK tho
and on VK t8 channel cost is so absolutely absurd there’s no reason for anything else. a good t8 leonine is hard to find though, i suppose it could be an okay option before then.

Anyone else having trouble with HH Divine Catalyst? I've got 5 points in it but I only ever get 1 bolt on cast. What's weird is that I was getting the full 5 when I was messing with another build earlier today.

Yep, you're right. There' needs to be multiple targets on screen for the bolts to go to. I'm not sure if that means that means you only get 1 per target or if all 5 are going to the same target just overlapping each other.
I've tested with that and bolts still proc with this enabled, which is nice.

2nd question. If I take the passive that gives me divine bolt on a melee attack, should I get the extra bolts from divine catalyst if I use something other than HH for my melee attack?

So i read somewhere someone had an easy time finding sentinal helmets with the reduced channel cost affixed.. ive found exactly 2 in 92 levels while use prophecies to get exalted helms... using a majority of my COF favor at this point.. is there any way to farm them that im missing?

Havoc,redemption exalted prophecies are pretty bad and seem like a waste of favor,unless you absolutely have to waste favor for it keep imprinting helmets and you will get the reduced channel after some crafting
For someone who isnt good with forging you are saying just use havoc on the sentinel helmet type til you get it?

The only way to have an exalted t7 affix is to find it,2 to use a rune of redemption to change a prefix into that what you want,to use a havoc rune after you have prefix channel cost doesnt matter if its t1 channel cost as long there is an affix t7 in your helmet you can with some luck move that t7 to channel cost with havoc then use rune of evolution

Let's say you get helmet t7 suffix idc about that if it has open prefix you can get t1 channel then havoc if it hits the channel,then use rune evo now you have t8 channel ,maybe item has no more fp to keep crafting but you can do it like that
Ya makes sense now just as long as you have a base helmet you like with a t7 affix
If its full use redemption of you have an open affix.. use havov to move the channel to the t7 affix and evo to t8 when it gets there and then forge

Takes time but keep grinding not need t8 to be able to play the build so better to imprint better helmets you find along the way, will make it easy to get really good crafts later on
Honestly just was annoyed that i couldnt even find the affix on a better helmet.. and would love to imprint them but imprinting a rare with a t5 seemed silly. Not sure if its just the base imprinting goes off of though.. currently have the ring and boots in my weaver tree. Also messed up my axe cause didnt realize melee crit chance was better than crit chance
1 lp drops often just keep grinding the harbinger best stats are melee crit and attack speed, I would imprint any t7 helmet you find with high forge potential this is big important
