oh, so does warpath not trigger it at all?
Once, when you press the button
Can someone help me out with my build? I'm following a guide and not sure if its good or not https://www.lastepochtools.com/profile/MellowFresh/character/Marty
there's a guide on maxroll is about judgment paladin here https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/build-guides/judgement-paladin-guide
I’m a new one hand and shield Paladin, what skills should I be Specializing? I’m debating on doing Holy Aura at the moment but have no idea what I’m doing
Greetings.
Is warpath still good this season ?
I don't see many build guides for it on lastepochtools.
warpath this season is sick man, here the build guide
https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/build-guides/echo-warpath-void-knight-guide
time to relive my d2 WW barbarian memories 😄
it's basically the same as last season is all, so there is not much enthusiasm to post new builds
https://www.lastepochtools.com/build-guides/the-forgelord---forged-weapons-forge-guard
im using this guide as reference
what would my next best step for vengeance since im using the primordial shield instead of bastion of honor rn
🤔
i was thinking crit multiplier
but not sure either that or atk speed
if in my main weapon im aiming for attack speed would taking As node be any good
🤔
I think javelin is better with sierpin
oh im just using it as a reference
im using an odachi
how do you get this kind of belt
Bee on potion is a Exiled mage affix
Very
when scaling Warpath, do I want
"+x% melee void damage"
or
"+x% void damage" ?
"+x% melee void damage"
That doesnt exist
Its +x Melee Void Dmg
It seems you want +x Crit Chance then Attack Speed
ah ye, I misread
are there any good warpath paladin builds? im doing ignite warpath but am worried if it scales decently
hi all is any one can help me explain on FORGE GUARD build in what conditions can apply two-handed sword in one site and shield in other site??? is passives skill or only apply for FG build only?? thanks you all
Forge Master Might passive
o.....
this is a buid with odachi https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/build-guides/forged-weapons-forge-guard-guide
well to get that belt you need a champion's item first, and then make it to experimental one
thanks bro that one is last passive need a lot of point
is paladin or void got this skill??
hey is there anyone try time rot VK,I just wonder why we use this ring instead of siphon
Nope
You already have a lot of leech
This is 10% More Dmg and 4% Less dmg taken
oh I got it now,ty
and the biggest reason to use siphon is doom which only benefits melee damage (of all types not just void)
Hmmm maybe bleed gloves warpath with morditas
I see,my time rot VK deals DoT and I did underestimated it 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
Can MA benefit from the bleed pop gloves?
Yes, not the bleed pop proc but everything else
yo! this made it so that smite only gains flat damage, no longer any 4% inc damage at all correct?
correct
and could indirect abilities (ex. smite triggers) be echoed at all or only direct stuff?
only direct casts afaik
Only Direct casts can echo
thanks, selfcast void smite it is then
Spell DOT is an option too, which I suspect Vlad may be more interested in
You could play Fissure > Spell DoT
DOT is decent with fissure & the sky beams from the tree
not that the skybeams are good, but they look cool
👉 👈 😊
They benefit from More Dmg from Smite
yeah i figured even void fissure would be good too.... but i wanted something hitbased
They are a subskill of Smite but hidden in the passive tree
they what now, thats odd
yeah but that's really just the 250% more right, everything else in smite is fissure specific or hit only
just 250% more
Yup but Devotion exist and Flat from Vitality too
They also get the flat void per vit and from devotion, among other fun stuff
huh forgot about devotion
Also its just extra dmg for "free"
yeah maybe I've underrated them
The beams have pretty decent base stats, too
yikes stacking vit AND devotion?!
Void Fissure gets them
Lightning Fissure gets More Lightning DoT per Crit Multi
Fire Fissure gets the node for More Fire DoT to Spreading Flamed Enemies and FireStarter
Devotion is so much flat
Its not even funny ^^
I am playing smite rn and it gives me 220 Flat
yeah selfcast its definitely more juicy than if i triggered smites
cause then i wouldnt even get castspeed either
my devotion could be the worst roll in history which is nice i guess
you can still go negative mana with smite can't you? I know they said they fixed that but I saw a recent clip of someone doing it
do the devotion rolls matter if you're not lightning?
can't remember what it has other than lightning pen and the flat/cast speed
Is there smth to do with this ?
Endurance, heal and res
i was using it on fire shieldthrow, but man that build was annoying the derpy MA just always dies in higher content
so endurance is the only thing that matters for void smite then
You do get more Flat at negative mana, but how do you get Smites ?
i dont see myself doing both manastack and vitality stack well together though so lets say i get 500 mana thats 100 flat, still nothing to scoff at i guess
smite can cost 0 mana
though I think that one I saw was fire smite with a firestarter with +spell damage -spell cost rolled maybe
or maybe just foot of the mountain? can't remember
Pretty sure you need mana to proc fissure though
you do
but if you can reliably get a lot of negative mana somehow
then you don't want +mana at all
the cast speed would go insane if you were at -500/100
idk how to do -500 tho
the clip I saw was like -8k mana or something but idk how it's achieved
Everything that gets you super negative gets patched out
I dont want to fight lagon anymore, please
offtopic but havent played a week or so, did that patch on the 10th fix the stash filtering lag/crash?
farming stormcarved testament for storm totem is no bueno
at least you can use that harbinger woven echo
Not really. It's playabale, but I can't bother with waiting 4 seconds every time I move an item
i'm so confused they're not reverting the stash filtering changes they made until its fixed wth... oh well
I am farming stormcarved for Lightning Smite
Oh the imprint proccs
electrify/crit/spelldot?
I am ever lured by the temptation of electrify smite/healing hands prolif
👀 palarus?
oh no, ive got no big inc damage rolls for palarus for void smite 🤔 hmmm
Spell Crit Multi-Smite
Can someone tell me what my next upgrade is to do more damage to Uberroth? https://www.lastepochtools.com/profile/Deafening/character/Immortal_iv
also i might maybe rather a +2 amulet over devotion if im not going crazy on mana, since smite does have more than just 250% more damage (more vs ignite & blinded) i might need like 30 points to max out what i wanna do @waxen nymph
crit nodes are point heavy
devotion will add more damage than the worst 2 skill points for self cast smite
100%
Has anyone messed with the idea of a bleed focused forge guard using carrion of creation, phantom grip, and serpents milk
or is bleed just too weak to build around
that would be 20% more vs blinded i suppose and yeah you might be right, the big castspeed alone for selfcast is probably very worth
50 more Lagon fights for you
Bleed FW ?
Devotion is so much dmg, that planning Spell Smite and not using it is a mistake imo
yeah just getting monster bleed either using DW rainbow edges with more chance on hit for ailments, or tork's hunger for straight up bleed
i mean i just figured id probably already have 150-200 flat already... which is still 50% more at 500 mana i guess.. yeah ok i see it
ok stash lag still bad as ever 🙄 here we go
with tork you can do shield as well and throw in flayers pride, but i dont know if that would apply its bonuses to forged weapons. Also not sure about the forged weapon generators, warpath seems to be the most consistent
damn thats a nice fodder, but smite/vk has so much multi already
i need some increases
Or Morditas Reach for 500% Bleed
oo right that would be a big one too
think its worth trying or is bleed just too meh
Imo, Bleed MA has some real potential
FW, I dont know
You will lack penetration and duration
MA?
alchemist ladle has bleed+4 ailments that get converted to bleed
45% chance with max roll
probably morditas reach is best still
Manifest Armor
ahh
Because it can "use" your armor, helmet and boots at higher value
So smth like this x2.6
164% Duration and 177% Pen
Giga bleed
And you help Bob with Shield throw so it can attack real fast
that could get particularly nuts if the armor can be enhanced enough
i got 2 3lp's atm ready to go, fishing some swords out of the stash atm
impulse bought the only one on market
Is Spirit if Xylem the meta for Judgment Pally or is it still Transcribers Graver?
im still not sure about devotion though mainly because of how much vitality spell damage i will get i gotta be honest, like i wouldnt even trade my idols for mana, i get spelldmg affixes on helm and chest, i need inc void damage, where am i gonna get a meaningful amount of mana from 🤔 @waxen nymph
I believe so
are you smite VK? I can give you my planner if you want
and no, mana is not worth for void smite
i'm planning one yes @proper kelp sure i can take a look for ideas and inspiration
before even being able to use the carrion/milk combo I could stack up to ~850 stacks on ST pretty quick once the weapons forged out, but that was with torks and basic gear
https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/BZzgNkYB this is almost my current character minus the LP4 ladle, chest and smite 4 nihilis
Beneath Ancient Skies / 1.3.2

aspirational if you will
then just switch melee attack speed for cast speed on gloves its almost the same
use blood mage or rav voids instead
and different boots
Are you crit capped with Smite ?
yeah
i have a bit over 60% spell crit as a baseline, then 150% more increased from anomaly and a few levels in smite base crit
but i run lunge instead of anomaly for faster mapping, switch to anomaly for bosses and beasts
uhh i forgot about the 3set bonus, thats what youre going for right, not the timerot stuff?
From this planner I count 85.51%
with average rolls or good rolls
i have 15 crit chance as a base and another 4 from 2 points in smite base crit
if you dont have a well rolled shattered worlds you can just move points into base crit
Nihihlis ?Arent you using a Exalted Set Amulet ?
3% more void damage per stack of time rot is a 36% global mroe dmg multi
mistake mb, meant worlds
different uberroth item
also if you're self cast, switch vise for blood mage for even more base crit
since you wont need atk speed

@alpine canopy
One day maybe lagon can play ^^
i can make a self cast planner one sec
https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/planner/8n3y90zg#2
this is a time rot build
nah all good i'll figure it out just making some gear decisions over here
I had played with a ravaging aura/void smite build from scratch at the start of the season, ended up looking like this https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/oXOEPKEB
:white_check_mark: This character build is verified

i'm most definitely gonna dualwield for palarus so the set is probably out of the question , dw will be a lot of extra damage already
im not gonna lie twin
ur single target dps is probably like 1/10th of a multismite setup
if you want to self cast i strongly reccomend going mana smite instead, you get way more base spell dmg to compensate for lack of more dmg multis
multistrike smite is the one i never tried, how many are you getting per second roughly, avg?
with max stacks of armament i get 4 smites per attack and 6 on echoes
?? On a DoT build ?
so 40% chance to echo and be 10 total smites, and 60 to not echo and be 4
averaging to 6.4 smites per atk
could be an import from before I moved points around lol
im also way, way tankier than a dual wield setup because i have 100% block, less dmg taken on block, 55% block effectiveness, less void dmg taken on block, etc
you could get even more dps by dropping shield for a sword with atk speed and spell dmg
but i like being durable
if you want to self cast i suggest using palarus for mapping and switching to ladle+something else for bossing
yeah no shit to that, but i'm prolly gonna mess with selfcast first but i'll keep multistrike in mind since i havent tried that version yet and im not trying to farm uber with that
that dualwield wont be tanky
if you're gonna dw palarus i would just go paladin
tbh
paladin can also use aurelis multistrike for dps
tbh palarus was mostly about clearing with selfcast if ur not fissure based
or spamming like a throw/trigger build
i find my clear to be more than satisfactoy
sheer volume of smites + devouring orb wipes out packs of squishies
lightning smite warpath with culnivars + palarus last season was pretty fun but I stalled around 750c iirc
wait but i thought indirect casts dont echo, or is the echo part for multi the extra swords instead that makes it good? @proper kelp
the echoed multistrike not only procs smite, but procs more smites than the original
the smites themselves do not echo
i see
yeah the MS will echo but not the procced smites
god if you could echo procced smites...
so its 4+6 if you echo
just think of the power
10 smites per attack feels so crazy man
yeah cool interaction, i still wanna do my thing over here 😄 thanks for the ideas though
no worries
if it fails miserably i might reconsider
Love me some self cast smite on vk
not fails, more like doesnt satisfy me
also because devotion gives up to 50% cast speed for smite
you definitely want devotion for selfcast
And also more single target somehow
do the bolts hit the same target?
what
They do

or just one
Hard to say
huh
But if you play electrify there is a 100-200 stack difference
i read it as "this number of individual enemies"
its probably just 1
but thats still really strong for ailments
Dual-Wielding and tanking some of the biggest 1-shot mechanics in the game. What a time to be alive.

if i was gonna run electrify i would go jav for sure
I am showing the "bug" of the extra bolts
yeah
i guess desired sword prefixes would be flat to spells + crit or flat to spells + void damage%, really should have sufficient multi from vk/gear
Is Judgment Paladin supposed to spec a lot into attunement? I think im using the wrong version and all the builds i look up on YouTube are variations of the maxroll build.
its great for concencrated ground judgement cause
- Consecrate Ground gains 1 spell damage per 5% increased healing effectiveness.
and each attunement gives 4% healing effectiveness for judgement from attribute scaling
unless I'm dumb that the attunement scaling one doesn't affect it for some reason
and flat spell damage is very very good
Do you know of a planner i can look at for this? I think im going to have to do major changes to my build
are the maxroll planners not using the judgement aura node?
but off the top of my head no idea for a planner for that
No it does not. The only aura build i found was one LE Tools but it used lots of rares rather than exalts so I thought it wasn't the best version of it.
Is it worthwhile to completely re-gear into Reflect Paladin?
if its only showing rares thats probs just the rough gear plan for early monos/entering empowered
if you want to play reflect paladin, yea
I only want to play it if its significantly better. 😆
https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/B4Yp95Lo This was the s2 planner for mono farming aura judgement. Idk if there's an updated version for s3. I never saved a planner for spam judgement cause it was boring

sigh, tfw when you get the same rare weaver idol prophecy twice in one reroll
Thanks. Was hoping to find one for S3
gonna grab more humble weaver's and havoc runes, once the 3lp palarus is done im just gonna level 👀
Reflect is crack broken op
On top of not being active at all
Like you walk and thats it
I will be shocked if Thicket doesn't get hit in s4
I wanna see a big pp shield throw build using thicket and sigeons
I was looking at sigeons+primal cadence
I was thinking cadence for mapping and nest for bossing
switch cadence for firestarters torch for bosses
But ST Clear is fine no ?
could always be better
its not just clear, its effectively more dmg vs enemies that have other mobs around them
if you 80% overkill a pack of spiders on a rare you can oneshot it
rn im working on bleed phalanx tho

▸ Armor Mitigation: 57% (3,970)
▸ Block Chance: 68%, Mitigation: 58% (2,800)
this is what i got so far
No Siege Barrage ?
i was gonna try to fit in leech, plus healing hands and 10% missing health on vengeance
but probably gonna switch to the relic that gives bleed leech
i threw this together in like 10 mins after i bought an lp4 phalanx
lol
yeah chalice is probably worth
i want to see how far i can go with it
smite vk still has a lot of upgrades to go but its already struggling to stay alive at 800ish corruption
still need a null portent for 20% dr, helmet for armor applies to dots
dot dmg is deadly man
Im guessing multismite vk tops out at 1500 corruption even with BIS gear, after that you would need to be proccing smite at range so you dont get hit
and thats just normal echoes, the rift beasts become unbeatable way sooner
so yeah im gonna check out bleed vengeance
dude i got this for 3.5 mil it seems kinda crazy cheap to me
Nobody plays Phalanx so I'm not surprised
yeah
normally phalanx sucks vs bosses which is why im trying bleed vengeance
to see if it can get reasonable single target dps
for mapping it feels amazing
but yeah perfect more dmg roll and 4 lp
this is why i love playing MG and building off meta
this would take forever to farm COF
does siege barrage have better clear than line jav or is it mainly for single target
would you say
idk how good the AOE is and where it targets on phalanx
honestly good question on the aiming
if its a big enough pack thats not gonna matter, tho I'd guess its just gonna pick an enemy and shoot there
yeah i guess siege barrage is probably worth i just like the idea of offscreening stuff
it doesnt matter at all for single target since you will barely riposte bosses
I think it targets whatever triggered the riposte. I vaguely remember getting barrages off in the distance when I played with it before
I tried bleed phalanx last season and the damage was awful when jav wasn't proccing
If anyone else ended up being curious about this, this ended up stacking up ~2600 bleeds on a dummy but the overall damage was just...eh. The manifested armor with no other changes right now is keeping 120-150 stacks up on its own and without me doing anything to it its ticking for 200k tho. This is the ghetto stuff i threw together for it: https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/ApXmbXRA
:white_check_mark: This character build is verified

▸ Dodge Chance: 3% (60)
▸ Armor Mitigation: 41% (2,118)
▸ Block Chance: 26%, Mitigation: 30% (565)
and then with all the stacks from forged weapons and stuff the bleed ended up only ticking for ~500k, so I think @waxen nymph was right in thinking that a MA focused build would likely be a better call
Does spell leech apply to Dots? Like Smite Fissure?
Yarp
As long as it's tagged as a spell
Spell Damage, Damage over time and the additional spell damage you get from Attunement are all in the same "bucket" correct? None of them are multiplicative?
Added is different from increased, I think the formula is on a wiki somewhere
All "increased" is one bucket, all "added/flat" is another, and all "increased damage taken" debuffs are a bucket
this is the formula (see attached picture)
anything that says "x% increased <tag here> damage" (like 50% increased physical damage) goes into the increased damage bucket (look at your skills tags to see what affects it)
added/additional spell damage (like from wands or some passive nodes) is flat damage and is added to your spells base damage before any increased or more multipliers are added
Do note that "added spell damage" will convert to your skills damage type, if your thing says like " added lightning spell damage" then it will add that much flat lightning damage and not convert to your skills damage type
Oh wow thanks
I never considered maxroll since so little use fg
Tho i got a question the build i referenced had a lot of survivability skill as of that build i think has less
Would it be aight
I don’t even know where to begin with this.
Bad?
Also i really need an insight on
Can bastion of honor be changed for the new primalist shield
Gg!
What are you playing?
I forgot
Maybe I missed smth but it looks pretty good to me
Primalist Shield?
I am curious to hear what you don't like in there

I'm gonna work on lp, and i need to slam a clean ailments on the belt^^
@waxen nymph
Shred on weapon makes no sense, 4/5 Hammer and Anvil hits the shred softcap. Overinflated value placed on Armor. No Pale Ox or Shield heavily damages survivability in high corruption. Low Healing Effectiveness and lack of Ward nodes means HH isn't contributing meaningfully to sustain/durability. 3/5 Walls is leaving raw DR on the table when the build is already made of paper. Spending points in VK for leech with leech on gloves and Logi is a waste of points.
The main right thing they did was slam leech on gloves. That and Sunforged helm covers sustain for you and FWs entirely, obviating the need for HH at all unless you're stacking ward. The cute cloud voyager tech really only works if your minions aren't constantly leeching themselves back to full.
It's good for RoS builds since they take hits and don't leech
But they're not using RoS and shieldcrafter procs are somewhat inconsistent
Especially with no shield
Also unrelated to the build maxroll's website blows hot ass
Shrapnel existing kills any desire to play forged weapons for me
ofc you have to take the 1 point 50% more multiplier and suffer the -75% reduced duration
this was one of my corncern too 🤔 also what is the softcap for shred think i over on shred
yah cerata
You can see the effect of shred on Tunk's site here https://lastepoch.tunklab.com/armor
The first 60 or so stacks are enormously powerful, the next 60 are pretty strong, and then it falls off a cliff in value
Oo
Wait a minute, Necrotic Void Cleave ????
How do mismatched elements work with Increased Element Damage%? Like if you had that affix and attacked with Void Cleave which has the Void tag, would Increased Void Damage only affect the portion of the attack that actually does Void damage? Would Increased Necrotic affect the damage at all if the skill doesn't have the Necrotic tag?
Each %Inc Dmg would only affect the corresponding type
So the tags don't matter for that
So let’s say we have a melee attack that does physical and fire damage
%increased melee damage affects both the fire and physical portions
%increased fire damage only affects the fire damage
%increased physical damage only affects the physical portion
So you could end up with 50 phys * (100% increased melee + 100% increased phys)
And 20 fire * (100% increased melee + 50% increased fire damage)
Per hit
For void cleave since it’s void tagged, all of your generic melee damage becomes void damage (if a skill has two tags like say fire and void, then your generic damage is split 50/50 between the two tags)
However stuff like added melee physical damage on your weapons affixes will not convert into void
That's how I kinda figured it worked but I never tested it. Thanks
I always knew SW and FS were getting screwed by being dual typed.
well I haven't tried this build, just find it on the page 😅 😅😅😅
At least for void cleave you can full convert it to fire
If you take Spiked Bombardment with Battle Standard do you still get the 2 additional javelins?
What is the best 0 mana cost skill (dunno if there is a better term) to summon Forged weapons (the skill itself only needs to be 0 mana, but effects can then use mana after using the skill)
Currently trying out Vengeance, but Rive looks better and MultiStrike has its own benefits (as well as combos with Forged Strike so thats 1 less button I need to remember to use in battle)
On a Forge Guard build in case its not obvious
Rive does the most damage but sucks at summoning FWs. Vengeance has strong defensive properties but has poor damage, MS summons weapons the fastest but is mid at everything else.
MS has the benefit of gaining the minion tag with one of the nodes so it has more skill points
With MS is the node to automatically use Forge Strike worthwhile?
Is it worth going for MS and also the spin to win skill (I cannot recall the name)
Warpath you really need to commit to
MS is the best at summoning weapons, but it means you have to use forge strike every few attacks
So for a pue FW build I'd just use vengeance, summons well enough, easier to use, and gives big tankiness
I was thinking of (like I read up on) Vengeance in the end game and maybe either MS or Rive to get there as Vengeance feels glacially slow to kill anything
Rive is plenty good for leveling
Yeah, vengeance takes investment to get all its FW summoning stuff going, and early game player damage will be contributing more so MS is strong
Is the Unique Legendary 1 handed mace to boost Vengeance skill level worth using in that case?
As I didn't see the need for lots of extra points in Vengeance to help out a minion build (however first time really going for the Forge Guard)
No
Thanks for the help on the build
The investment mentioned earlier for vengeance is primarily the attunement needed to hit 100% iron blade chance
You'll want to get a good amount of attunement regardless, since it's the scaling attribute for FWs
big shame the envy forge potential ran out on such a shit base (split it at 1 or 2 potential left)
wait it can go to 100?
I saw that nodde say it maxes at like 80% and I thought thats combined with other ways of generation
No
@waxen nymph you asked about void fissure, would you be able to play that with timerot at all? you cant right? smite no longer hits?
oh wait it still does hit just spawns a fissure
uhh
Smite itself still hit
Yes, it's a base 20% iron blade chance plus an additional 80% if you have 40 att and 2 points in the node
You get a fissure on top
so would you still include time rot, or too difficult to scale both well?
stacking mana/vitality/void dot seems like a lot already
ya that was my thought, my old timerot guy stacked all of that quite extensively
That a'lot of stuff to add to Spell DoT void, vitality maybe mana
maybe 1 doom ring ontop for good measure
Still haven't played a TR build
I thought I saw on the node that Fissure changes with the Void conversion node
It does yeah
Not sure what skill I want to use for it
Also just checking is there a way to make Forged Weapons into Void minions or is Forge Master the only realistic option for a Sentinel Minions build?
No, they can't be converted
FG is the only realistic option anyway since you can't spec forge strike otherwise
i did chain hammer, i believe very large packs were problematic sometimes until timerot spread on kill (for multiplicative reasons)
think i will swap to void fissure, not too happy with palarus performance and dualwield (not) tankyness
I love Void Fissure
That was my starter in 1.1 or 1.2, can't remember
I don't think I would build it the same way though
i have ideas but a problem i see right now, how do you spam away your mana these days
i dont want it to be uncomfortable playing with devotion
Oh it doesn't work via the MS node if its not unlocked?
I don't recall the node on the MS tree saying that the skill needed to be unlocked, but maybe I missed it
It still works, but the FW nodes in forge strike are basically mandatory
The FWs will probably be fine super early campaign without speccing FS, but later on you must spec it to scale them decently
@waxen nymph i got a 2lp aberroth's ready, t7 spell or t7 mana/ward what do you reckon?
i guess dot gets a fair bit more inc %damage than hitbased
Devotion or not ?
Abyssal Echo no cooldown
i will swap to devotion
Then probably mana
how much does that cost? i was thinking ramping warpath maybe
50 per cast
And also AE gives you 20% More Dmg against Blinded enemies and 24% Inc DoT Taken (another More Dmg)
ohhh right, ok i like that
Paladin can be used for Manifest Armor builds but FWs is strictly a Forge Guard build
wish me luck
Don't beef it
omg
POG !!!
now its a shame i will never see a 3lp aberroth's
maybe i even fail twice
well.. time to farm another
It hurts
wait you still had 12 potential and didnt bother rerolling the poison?
Tell me you creation your sceptre and you are on your way to slam the second one ????
you can't really play forged weapons as anything other than a forge guard but manifest armor can be played as VK or paladin
ofc you should probably be doing shield throw & manifest armor together, so that's a bit restrictive
ya i split it
why bother risking losing all potential instead of splitting? 4th mod is irrelevant
i meant farming another 2lp aberroth's 😂
oh yea splitting thats true
What exactly is riptose from the vengence skill? and how do it work?
You click Vengeance and hit an enemy, there is a ball around you telling riposte is ready
When an enemy hit you, you trigger Riposte, its a melee hit
ohh, thanks
I've played like 150 hours of vengeance and I never noticed that ball before
Zero awareness
Anyone know if the armor stolen from ST's Vampiric Steel stacks if you hit the same target multiple times?
yes
Neat
Thank you for not whiffing 🙏
Question about Mad alchemist ladle. The more Spell damage per negative ailment on the target... does that affect just spell damage or does it also affect dot damage in this case? I.e. will it only give me 48% of the 842, or will it also affect my DOT damage (48% of 2429)?
I'm using fissure smite, so I'm curious if it's worht switching to, given my huge investment into DoT damage
It applies to all spell damage, doesn't matter if it's hit or DOT. Just to be clear, it's not a multiplier of those % increased damage values, it's a multiplier of your final total damage
LE Tools doesn't have a spell DOT column, so the actual % inc you have on fissure might not be either of those numbers
(e.g., if you have the stat "increased spell damage", that will show up in the spell column, but not the DOT column - you'd need to add all the spell-only stats from the spell column to the DOT column's number to see the increase that fissure has in that case)
guys is there any build using this one?
Wow. So it's likely a pretty big jump in damage if I can get a good one. Thank you for your help.
Yeah, for spells like smite if you're doing void and/or devotion to get a ton of flat spell damage, very much so
You can build around it and it's viable, no clue if there's guide on it though. I think it's a pretty fun one.
if you are already able to quickly build 12 time rot stacks, is there any point to more chance to time rot? or is 12 the max and that's it
If you're a time rot build, once you get rot grip then yes you still want more chance since it scales damage. Otherwise if you're just using it to satisfy some "per stack of time rot" effect then no, that's it.
okay, so more chance to proc still means more damage even if you cant stack the dot further?
Yes, at least for global time rot chance. Rot grip doesn't count time rot chance in skill specs.
if not specifically cleave/ravaging aura, its a very good void dot stick with 2lp potentially (reasonable rarity)
guys what would be the single best place to farm a certain champion modifier (carnage/amulet spell damage)? i already run most of my super arenas, twinned champions, all of that
You can imprit one in weaver tree and it will drop on champion, caches...
funnily enough i tried lmao
and my luck is just terrible
i mean i get some but none i need
@waxen nymph game: oh youre going fissure? go lightning
was wondering why my fissure feels weak, its not getting converted to void... most of my dot damage is the beam right now
fissure isn't void??
read the fissure tooltip, it can be converted
but its not getting converted for me for some reason
F8
yeah reported it
tried unspeccing the conversion etc , its only visually being converted to void, the tooltip stays on fire and attunement scaling
man thats a bummer
and one fissure only dealing like 4-5k damage with my stats would be impossible to only be a tooltip bug
against the odds they always find a way
Ravaging Aura in void cleave doesn't have any attribute scaling???
and i always find a way to find the not(anymore) working bugged interactions 😔
standalone dev orb is not too viable these days is it?
does it just inherit the 4% increased per str/vit from void cleave or does it really just not scale?
Subskill of Void Cleave > inherit attribute scaling from VC
ok theres the tiniest difference when respeccing the void conversion node on a dummy so i think it ONLY converts the 20 base smite fire damage maybe, really weird...
the attribute shift comes from renouncement rather than the conversion on tree
but you have that because you said you were getting the beams
idk
yeah anyway something clearly broke, time to find a respec 😐
can VK echo smite if it isn't void smite?
No, echoes are for melee and Void spells only
funny enough my void beam cleared most low corruption stuff but that alone only goes so far
how long do those void beams last?
every time there was no beam the bamage was down in the dumps
not sure actually, 4 or 5 seconds
I just looked erasing strike skill tree says 3 and I can't see it listed anywhere else
even epochtools doesnt know, interesting lol
300% effectiveness/second so yeah maybe its 3 seconds
based tunklabs
I need to check tunklabs more for durations
He has them listed
Where Letools does not
yeah wonder why
nice that you get 4% increased per str too
I find you get a fair bit of incidental str
It depends where they come from
Attribute scaling for subskill is inherited from the parent skill
If its ES, yes
If its Smite, no
oh okay
so for smite you only get +1 flat per vit too rather than +2?
Ripperinos
But you also get Flat from Devotion for exemple
It is indeed
especially with VK getting more health per vit too
it's beyond disappointing that they manage to keep reintroducing the same bugs they've already "fixed"
definitely disappointing
might be time to use my 3lp apathy maw, hit the good result atleast
shred wouldve been nice but still pretty crazy
this would go well with rive void build
or that
standalone devouring orb is probably rough these days right?
nah DO is probably the best time rot applier rn
oh really? anyway i meant hit based, but interesting, didnt think DO had many multipliers for ailments i gotta count
hit should still be really good all consuming node is crazy it’s just weird to use lol
nothings ever gonna be like time rot jav sillyness from last cycle
I do have fun with timebomb dorb
is tar a way to build support sentinel for party like givng dmg buff whit javelin and auras and sigel
if you want support for party play look up snap on YT, his group did a party runs to to uber the last couple seasons with 2 paladins as pure support
THX ALOOTT
so you mean even for applying timerot thats with the orb consumption? seems really weird to play that one
ye it’s 100% more and 6% less there’s a weird curve with how many you wanna consume for the most damage i think it’s 8?
i dont even understand how you get 8 out to do that
you spread them out and then use a skill to teleport them all together, usually volatile reversal but ig erasing strike with shadow beacon would technically work
that sounds so clunky, but also duration and cooldown wise getting 8 up is what im struggling with
do people run this then? or just stack a lot of CDR elsewhere
i think mostly just what you get from passives but i’m not 100% sure
i think maxroll has a build guide iirc
Need to use VR non-traversal with the dorb duration extender
it doesn’t necessarily have to be non-traversal does it?
Oh yeah, and use the guaranteed echo granted by VR for dorb
It does need a short enough cooldown by some means
Don't know for sure if it's possible without taking the non-traversal node
should i plat the lotto today?
damn, i felt like going back to revisit pally hammer smite bleed with the new gloves but sure aint what it used to be
1600 stacks with just enough damage for 250 corruption right now, still need to lp my neck and gloves though
and probably need to change to t7 bleed pen mods instead of more chance
I like multistrike bleed pally these days
i love that multistrike got a good singletarget toolkit now, already liked clearing with it before
Multistrike is so neat now yeah
yeah, it's really great at applying holy eruptions
small problem with my setup is 8 missing block and phys shred, same blessing/timeline
not sure i could sustain forgeguard physshred
don't need block chance if you don't use a shield 😏
my stick would go well with multistrike too if i feel like trying i guess 😏
symbol of demise is fun too
wait youre not using flamebursts for more stacks on that multistrike bleed guy? or is that a different build
I am
tbh I'm probably better off dropping the demise gimmick at this point
just do dw with palarus and spec smite
so flameburst is to multistrike what smite is to hammers huh, 200% multiplier on it not bad

got it on attempt #6. nice upgrade for my rive vk
Dual wielding Rive?
Still hard mapping?
hey guys, i'm at 95 on my paladin, multistrike/smite build, which afix should i work on putting t8?
are you asking if the build has difficulties mapping, or if I'm hard grinding out echoes?
potentially none. might be better off using immortal stone ammy
wait, better than devotion on this specific build?
maybe not. you're doing crit, not electrify?
yeah, even running a t6 crit mult on my palarus (waiting to find a t7)
hmm kinda hard to say. idk if there's any super impactful t8s for that build
About clear echo high coruption
nothing crazy. Like 1k - 1500
now that I think about it, you probably want to go t8 for one of the mana prefixes on helmet
oh ok, looks good, that ammy looks kinda rare
you'll get one eventually, but since you're doing crit smit you won't want to get rid of devotion
and since you're using devotion you want to mana stack a bit
any tip on body/gloves?
for body either null portent, or if you take the nodes in multistrike that can summon forged weapons then you can use mantle of the pale ox
and for gloves either grasp of the blood mage if you're not capping crit on smite, or something with as much attack speed as you can get like falcon fists or immortal vise
ok, tysm
np
if someone knows a build that i can see more and follow, it's my first char on this game so i'm kinda lost
some places tell me to dual wield swords, others i found was palarus + bastion
the former is the damage option, the latter is a tankier option. both work
in this game there's not a ton of "objectively right" choices, and most things work with varying combos, so you're encouraged to experiment with a setup that fits your playstyle
aurelis + palarus is going to be the weapon combo that gives you the most damage, but you'll be squishier
anyways, I'm off to bed
if no one answers your Qs you can ping me with stuff and I'll respond tomorrow
I use null portent
Static shell can be good too, less defense but more dmg
Gloves I run Grasp with t7 AS
Boots Army of Skin with t7 MS
:white_check_mark: This character build is verified
Beneath Ancient Skies / 1.3.2
Sentinel (30) / Void Knight (10) / Paladin (68)

Why army of skin?
good LP level, movespeed and attack speed on a slot that can't usually get it
army of skin is pretty amazing for any melee build that doesn't have a clearly better choice
like exile for bleed builds or foot of the mountain for some builds
any fire fissure/judgement aura builds out there? I can't see a clear way to scale the flat damage for both kinds of spell-DOT other than mana stacking/devotion
well, mana stacking doesn't scale the flat for judgement does it? it's just a more multi, still need to get flat from somewhere
healing effectiveness doesn't do anything for smite's damage
also devotion wants missing mana while judgement needs you to have a lot of mana to spend
ty
Could go mixed mana and HE and play fire Fissure
jeez, i can actually hit over 2000 bleed stacks but wheres the damage
1600% inc damage ish with 230% bleed duration too
with what skill?
how have you specialised hammers?
This is what I was doing with time rot hammers in 1.2, it's about a 6x multiplier to ailments
i know i played this version with timerot before but that fits mostly for timerot
i think it would be much much worse for bleed when youre not capped to 12 stacks
yeah the carrion explosion is not enough to carry the AOE
yeah that
really unfortunate otherwise id consider
most lackluster thing about the glove
with that hammer build you really get to see just how good rot ripples is
i'll try to get t7 bleed pen instead on both chest and helm still but i dont think this would go too far
i'm gonna do some math for the chain hammer too maybe it could be better if it was more than doubling the output
since i do still apply a ton of stacks per hit
think it is more than double damage with 40% speed from ricochet extra projectiles too
ok need another lp valdyr to test this out
i'll be back
the layout of tombs really killed the orbiting hammers imo
them disappearing when they hit walls makes any tight corridor type layouts suck so damn much for the build
that too but theyre not that relevant to clear unless u need some enchantments i guess
ok yeah chain with bleed is pretty bad even with the speed i barely get to 5-600 stacks now
down from 2k
probably from missing smite triggers as well
have you considered javelin siege barrage instead?
fractal tree can get a lot of hits
probably just as bad as chain hammer for clear
if the glove prolif was just better
but yeah i did consider
oh you dont mean siege barrage but splits+fractal?
the splits hit singletarget?
siege barrage still splits doesn't it?
like it hits from above then splits horizontally, no?
ah i see what you mean combine both
yeah siege barrage gets you multi hits on single target and splits make multi-target situations tolerable
anyway then im no longer a shield build or paladin changing to the spear, i might try the multistrike stuff
javelin DOT is only 3.82x multiplier tho
and -20% attack speed in there too
or 20% less attack speed
yeah and the stand still pen is not very fun either for long periods of time
also penetration nodes like that dont really work together with multipliers right so theyre a fair bit weaker per node
with bladestorm, arent these really good for single target too now or do these still not trigger without extra targets
@warped night thx for the suggestion, havent tried the melee trigger spam yet, multi feels pretty nice
probably doubled my output over hammer smite lmao
Multi strike is the most smites of the triggered smite builds
The downside is you gotta be in melee range

I'm running void warpath, but I'm feeling pretty squishy even at 100c. any suggestions/tips for quick changes I could make that would help? other than farm BIS stuff
opposite end of the spectrum is self cast smite where you can edge of the screen kill everything but you get the fewest smites/s
yeah, even using vk echoes apparently.. did not feel good enough
You need better armor and health
Like the highest sentinel body armor base has more raw armor than all your armor combined here
Looking at the max ehp vs one hit under defenses, you want like 10k (minimum) for each damage type
Also cap your resistance and cap reduced bonus damage taken from critical hits (the leonine helmet base is what most sentinels use for this)

why are you building mana and not using warrior's fury?
I’d wager their planning to switch to warriors fury once they have enough mana for it
Which normally means you store the mana gear and use gear that’s better now till you have enough
Cause you honestly won’t have enough for a bit
Especially with void well being a 4 second cooldown
so.. focus on swapping out the gear i have for sets of similar modifiers with just better armor first? being ok with losing a bit of damage along the way to do it?
ayy nice. I actually tried my own smite over symbol of demise suggestion yesterday and it was like half the damage of symbol. I'm genuinely surprised
you can craft 4xT5 gear which will be way way better than what you have.
https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/build-guides/echo-warpath-void-knight-guide
click the starter gear bit and see the affix priorities for pre-exalted gear and then progress to uniques with 1xT7 slams
And like 3k max hit isn’t it
Another solid way to bulk up a vk is grab as many 1x2 vitality idols and cram them into your idol board
Oh also
Put 5 more points into eternal form
%increased health is like the best stat, only behind vitality
armor is pretty low for a sent
and blessings
thanks. i was only focusing on the affixes. forgot to look at the item bases themselves >.< been a -very- long time since i played
All good dude
Ideally it’s leonine helmet, champion regalia/apoyclapse plate (lil more damage but on vk I still go champs), and eternal gauntlets
Off the top of my head this should give like 1300 flat armor? (from implicits alone)
yea, those bumped me up a ton. I don't think i lost a lot either. guess we'll see
Oh I meant importing it again to LE tools
But also get that vitality up, vk loves vitality
yea, i'll wait for it to update 🙂
Cause each point of vitality is
- 8 max health
- 1% poison res
- 1% necrotic res
- 0.33% more melee void damage
- all your spells scale off of vitality, getting flat damage
i... did not realize that it also scaled damage
Read your mastery passive
There’s a reason 15k max life vk can still do decent damage with rive
so vit > str?
You still want some strength cause strength gives %increased armor
And damage on your melee skills
But vitality only goes on idols, boots, body armor and helmets
Strength can go on those slots and other gear
Normally I aim for two exalted strength affixes on my rings
If your not using unique rings currently, coral rings with an exalted strength affix are very nice (they have implicit vitality)
Then craft on whatever resistances you need to cap res
you can go for strength on rings + gloves, and vit on boots, helm, and chest
Ye
I like leaving gloves till last cause what i prioritize is based on idols (mostly)
Like do I have enough shred from idols with this?
at this point I just use immortal vise on all melee builds so it's moot for me lol
I mean same
But I’m tailoring the advice for a guy at 100 corruption with 3k max hit
yeah ik
and i appreciate it. 🙂
there's the shred in abyssal echoes, but with it only going off every 5s it's probably not enough
Oh wait yeah numbers
40 stacks of armor shred on an enemy is roughly 40% more damage to that enemy for non-physical damage (I normally aim for 50 stacks)
To test how many stacks you can sustain go to champions gate and hit the training dummies there
also worth noting that the aim is for 50 because armor shred has strong diminishing returns
Oh yeah also to make that math make more sense, enemies always have 0 armor and 0 resistances, they just get damage reduction based on area level
So shredding armor till their at like -4000 armor = 40% more damage, consistently
Tunklab (it’s pinned in this chat) has graphs you can mess around with to visual armor shred (and a lot of other things)
200 vit?
What does shield bash scale with primarily? Is it beneficial to wield a 2h weapon over "monument of protection" or something else?
It feels like, after equipping a 2h, the dmg doesn't jump like I thought it would. But only jumped because of the phys/crit stats on the 2h rather than the base dmg.
I know block chance helps, block effectiveness helps if taking "indomitable force". Outside of that and flat/% phys, is there anything I should be looking for?
strength, block effectiveness, and flat phys are the biggest boons
plus event horizon
thank you kidpid
np
awww it gave up on the first chance to bleed hit
rip
I managed to slam t7 as + t6 bleed chance onto a 2lp undisputed. was a huge boost
i lose 40% damage 70% bleed chance but gain 28% attack speed
might still be worth gotta dummy test
yeah bleed comparisons really need the dummy test. sheet dps is super misleasing for bleed
do you maintain the 255% of undisputed? didnt even consider it
follow up - what primordial would be beneficial to shield bash? i was thinking legends entwined with two crafted bear pieces?
each multistrike sword hit counts, so yeah it's super easy
getting some 2lp undisputed's tho.. without that id just stick to a rare
that could work, though giving up glove slot (immortal vise) or chest slot (mantle of the pale ox or titan heart) is a difficult sell. I have a similar build, and I'm probably going for blossom of the immortal stone
1lp with t7 as might be a boost. worth trying
going for a defensive primordial isn't as flashy, but it does free you up to not worry about void, necro, and poison res, which can be an indirect damage boost if you end up making more offensive choices with the freedom
is onslaught any good for this? or is face of the mountain bis?
it can be, but only if you're really hurting for skill points imo. otherwise I would say horns of uhkeiros are bis
hadn't even considered that one.. thank you again
np
Which is the best blessing for The Black Sun: Increased Void Dmg, Crit Multi, or Void Pen?
usually multi
I ask because I'm not sure if "increased" and "more" are a thing in this game, and if they're additive or multiplicative
both are a thing. increased is additive with additional instances of increased. more is multiplicative with additional instances of more
game guide has a section on it
generally, for crit, added & more > crit multi & pen > increased
Thanks a bunch ❤️
So tired of farming for a Void Splitter
I think I'll just do the other Harbs then come back
I can clear 300 corruption pretty consistently so that feels like I'm ready to do the rest of that questline
yeah sometimes ya gotta take a break
You'd think at 309c it'd drop one with at least LP1 by now, but nope, Arengee refuses
I see pally, druid, and shaman reflect everywhere, but why not armor stacking forge guard with that node that scale reflect off armor?
unless flat reflect is the only way to go?
Because Paladin can get that node too and there's nothing past the lock reflect wants
ohh ya right
is pally just more tanky, but is there a point where druid can do better due to more reflect dmg?
idk anything about primalist but reflect paladin is basically a wall
Don't know if anybody is running it, but how well is Void Knight Rive build running at higher corruption?
I just got to Empowered Mono's @ 100c and I'm walking through the content thus far.
ah ok i just read that druid gives more reflect from passives
Pally has way more consistent tankiness with block and easy access to armour -> dot reduction, but druid has crazy dr and ward gen shenanigans
Any primalist will have more reflect tho
Sorry for reply ping, does Druid need to transform to access this tankiness/reflect?
If I go this route.. where do I get my mana from?
Idols
Mostly. You want to be in spriggan form to cast thorn shield, which gives giga armour and reflect, and swap to bear if you want the transform dr
Awesome, thank you!
Anyone done a vortex pendant build with the bleed gloves?
I love the training dummies in the arena, but the damage is so inflated, makes it hard for me to figure out what I'll actually do as damage to enemies
Enemies at level 100 have 87% damage resistance and dummies have none, so you only need to multiply the numbers you see on the dummy by 0.13 to get your "real" damage.
If you are shredding armor, it's not quite exact, but assuming you have plenty of stacks the difference will be negligible.
Ok!
<@&1161418687471956101> theres a spammer
Smite void cant use twisted heart
every build can use twisted heart
You can't convert ward
yeah but
20% increased health 64% increased armor and cast speed with 1lp for smite slam is still pretty dang good
SW better
well… yeah
this is for void sentinel ?
All melee
the bottom three affixes & implicits are good for any melee build and it's only LPL49, much less than most other good boots
hey guys im playing fire throwing shield and would like to know what good primordial item would you guys recommend since none of the guides mention one, its reliquary nest good?
Imo nest is the best
It's worth the slot
6 brewmaster's bricked in a row. I think it's time to stop
orz
If you use twisted heart, kuden will spawn out of the darkness and bust your kneecaps
got a link to guide? that sounds fun
both nest and +6 throw are good options, volca goes over why he uses the +6 throw in that guide and I think his logic is pretty sound
I don't see the why he goes for t8
But it's late so I probably missed it
Do you mind highlighting it?
???
in the video guide he goes over it, should be at the bottom i believe
The MA instantly dying the moment a champ shows up on 1000c is pretty funny
<@&1161418687471956101> in all channels again
They're out in force lately, I wonder what's up?
What's with all the moderator tags? Are we infested with bots?
There's like 1 bot a day that posts in every channel before getting banned
ah I see
but also sometimes we just want to bug Vlad
yeah but thats normally like @waxen nymph and calling him a stinky head or something, not pinging all the mods

Ima guess vlad already went to bed
New Portal Champion confirmed, lol
A portal champion that’s just an infinitely long grole would be wild
Long Grole as a new uber boss would be fun
Grölmungandr
it slowly makes more and more portals and blocks off parts of the arena to trap you
honestly sounds almost as good as the secret bee boss
or would be, if there was a bee level
Which there isn't of course
Hi Everyone,
https://www.lastepochtools.com/profile/TheIraqiMaestro/character/Sentinel
I am running a ES VK and can someone advice me what do I need to gear for in order to take on Uber Abberoth? I am following https://maxroll.gg/last-epoch/build-guides/erasing-strike-void-knight-guide, and currently drained out from farming a well rolled Nihilis but that is my immediate priority.
EE is just fine, nihilis is not top priority
Cool, so what should be my immediate priority now? a 2LP Grasp of the blood mage gloves or?
I think you can kill uberroth with your current gears now
@umbral osprey i tried but kept dying and ran out of mana super quick
really? can you record how you fight him?
sure
For one thing, you might need cleanse ailment on belt. But I have seen many players without it
I believe your gear is more than enough against Uber
Hello today ^^
@pseudo pollen I keep dying to one hits especially on his slams. Also at 1000C i keep dying against the rift beast. I am trying to farm for a 2LP belt so I can add the cleanse prefix
Any best expriences to farm LP2? Im afer 47 Harbringer's map on Black Sun and there drop even no lp1
my experience is pray before going :))
ive been trying to farm for a 2LP for one week now. I turtled 3 stashes of 1LP and none became 2LP....
I regret going ES VK tbh
or you can farm gold and buy from merchant guild 🤣
for 20 mln? No thanks xd
I heard they say that 2 LP world splitter is about 500m gold
The Tripple Slam? Or the Burning ground slam?
I have seen people beating Uber with less gear. And tbh, I think you can try using 1LP Shatter Chain belt with the Cleanse Ailment affix. You might not need the HP on the belt
@pseudo pollen both lmao. Its just that during ES I am stuck in that animation and i can't see all the ground effects lol
I feel ya. I tried and beat him with Warpath last week.
warpath is a little bit harder bc you can use evade while channeling
Yeah I know. It's so damn difficult. I have no movement ability and I cannot even use evade. Plus while channeling my movement speed is slower
But once I killed him once, I got Immortal Vyse glove which helped a lot
Then afte 2nd kill and 3rd kill, I got the Relic
try time rot, that one is good for bossing too
this is reasonable, please do it daily
¡ban engi
👀👀👀👀👀
Why is Nihilis such a chore to farm and then reroll.. omg
🤯
And yes I was asleep

ehhhh FP my dear FP, even no 1 left for copy :F
yolo slam time
Trying to get another Warpath T7 chest...
does FG node walls of solarum double less damage taken work? the stat in charsheet doesn't display the double value even tho i'm above 50% block
I assume it works, but never tested it
I dream a dream
Time to burn 56 fp on redemptions and never get a usable stat combo
I used it to imprint 3xt7, and it drops insanely
waow
your anomaly is spec'd wrong, you dont need borrowed time and emission as ES. you need max mark of rot and swiftrest for uptime. carcinzation > flames of midnight. your belt needs ailment cleanse on potion use or you will fail the final phase every time. i dont want to do the math but im almost 100% sure you are not crit capped -- you should drop implements for another point in prophet on ES. symbols of hope, you need to drop holy revelation and put those points into iron symbols.
if you are getting one shot, you should try using the blood mage gloves (minimum 2LP though, hopefully slam mana + attack speed). the biggest problem in that fight is the slam + ground of despair one shotting as it comes out quickly and he doesnt use it in a set pattern. attack speed in general will smooth a lot of things out so you are not animation locked as long. you can afford to drop shred on your gloves because you have it on your idols.
you should drop one of your 4 slot idols (you have enough shred if you are hitting ~30 stacks) for 4x 1 slot mana idols
overall, ES is not a great build for killing uberoth in an SSF environment (ie, without immortal vise and shattered worlds) so dont feel bad for struggling. you need to play enough to get a feel for when slam + ground of despair is coming out. its not a set pattern like his other moves (ie, the move is next in his queue so he will 100% use it like the black holes or spinning blade) but he does use it consistently enough in rotation that you should be able to anticipate it.
@night rock thanks for this, I will make the amendments, appreciate it
Do we know of any lightning smite builds that can do Uberoth?
Or any Smite builds in general, for that matter?
Maxroll and Lastepoch tools seem to be a bit light on'em.
Someone was getting pretty close with void smite just before s3 launched
Idk if they ever succeeded
lookd like you swapped from warpath based on your passive tree. drop 10 points in sentinel (overwhelm, bm, then 1 in whatever of the first 2 passives) and put them in to VK. max mortal cleave, eternal form, and abyssal fluctuations, put 1-2 points into blinding light for crit immunity, then something like doom knight or temporal
I swapped back to ES VK, i was just trying out Warpath
when i beat him, i used 2LP blood mage gloves, the primordial nest relic, and a regular helmet with no t8 affix
fairly certain nest > anchor because sentinel gets like 20% endurance as collateral for points on the tree (and nest itself has endurance on the implicit) so much of anchor's benefit is wasted. nest will give a good bonus to mana to make up for no t8 affix (depending on strength of your idols) as well as amping all the %damage or crit/crit multi chance you have
That helmet is questionable as well no,the normal drop from aberroth that gives mana ,seed helmet is way better ,you have access to blind im the tree so dont need to be crit capped
seed is good but with the nerf to void wells, you're gonna have mana problems in that last phase with seed constantly eating at it
im not sure if decaying skull is good or bad with the conversion but it is a good damage boost if you have a good 2LP slam
could always swap to rive
has anyone tried reliquary nest + a bunch of mana idols for ES VK?
i did that for my first uberoth kill
used nest over a t8 affix
mostly because getting the perfect helmet t13+ to t8 slam (flat mana) is really, really hard
i think nest is just the best option pre SW because you get nothing but stats from your idols so stats x 1.5 is even better
plus the idol stats are pretty consequential for ES
it giving endurance% on the implicit is also huge, because it means you just need to find like 5% or so to get to cap
on rive I'm using immortal stone right now
I thought about using butcher's crown, since I'm using sword catcher, but I have a crazy decayed skull slam that I don't think I'll ever be able to beat
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyrNNH_Dk-A from 1.2 but afaik should still work just fine
Devotion Smite should be plenty capable of Uber. Probably a few ways to build it even
I've seen multismite do it too
but that was a chinese player with cracked gear I think
I think I have enough dps, I get to 80% hp and 60% shield before the first slam
And my gear is still pretty meh
the multismite I saw was on 1.2, you may have considerably more dps on 1.3 idk what changed
and tbf it wasn't a slow kill, sub 3 mins
it just looked a bit rippy
Yeah, I have a hard time figuring out defense
Paladin + Null Portent
Ocearon
But after that
🤷
Time to bend over for Julra 🙏
The bad 2lp belt succeeded and the good 2lp chest failed
Can you reroll the stats on a legendary or do you have to do it while it still has lp
you can re-roll but it re-rolls all the affixes so it's way harder to get a good result
I was thinking that once I get the right stats on a slam I could just sac 2lps to the reroll gods to get everything higher
yeah but presumably you're slamming with an exalt with good rolls, not bottom rolled T7 hybrid health and then when you re-roll the belt that hybrid health roll gets randomised and could become a min-roll
First try 🙏
Anyone try out reflect on FG with MA mirroring the shield + armor?
Doesn't work
aw man really
