hey can i ask , whats the generic idea in farming on echos at endgame ? i mean you guys farm 1 special woven eco or just roam to echo's maps ? i m VK warpath trying to get some nice items t7 to start crafting some nice items for my LP 2 gear if u got any help tips please do tell thank u in advance ๐
It depends what you're farming for, but it's mostly just running echos. You can put 2 woven echoes into your weaver tree and they'll ocasionally show up on your echo web. There is also a great strat for farming favor too once you have some starting weaver favor to spend

Not really. This is the favor farm strat tho. You put down a lostwood folley woven echo and surround it with false temples. It adds weaver mobs to your shrine maps
You just need to do the folly map first, then do the surrounding temples, and repeat. You get so much weaver favor from this that you profit a lot even if you buy all the maps

My recommendation for that is to get a confluence of oblivion woven echo and slap it into your weaver tree
Then just speedrun monos until it shows up on your web

Yeah, but it has a drop mechanic where the drop chance grows the further out the shade node is from the start of your echo web
So it's more efficient to farm it via the confluence echo
but the confluence resets your web, so you can't put a bunch down at once
So you put them in your weaver tree and speedrun your web

@vestal mirage I loved my forge guard shield bash build with event horizon. I just wish the sound effect for shield bash had more aggresive oomph.
i had T7 melee crit on the event horizon, was awesome

oh ya all the hard content was trivial because they were stun locked
only thing you couldnt perma stun lock was uber, but you did occasionally still stun
Update to my bleed build. Added flayer's shield, seems to be a negligeable loss to dps. Cant use void cleave, so been toying with ring of shields and manifest armor. Manifest armor adds like 250 bleed stacks but dies often.
MA is tough to keep alive without building specifically for HP/s like Wrouk does or giving it a lot of melee damage and leech.
Found the sword to replace Mordita's for this crazy bleed build

Judgement (for damaging aura around me)
Holy Aura (self explanatory, more buffs)
Healing Hands (changed to Seraph Blade to deal damage and heal at the same time)
and Vengeance, which I converted to fire damage type
i think ive seen some vengeance builds circulating this season, have you looked at other builds on letools/maxroll to compare?

Looking for some build advice on a weird build that im not seeing other people trying this season, its ravaging aura/smite dot VK. In its current state im breezing through 750c but 900c+ was introducing too many OHKOs for my liking and the kill speed was dropping off. Looking for advice on idols, affixes, or potential gear swaps. I am working on getting better amulet/ring/helm/bp affixes, just havent gotten good bases yet. Wondering if I should ditch Symbols for Anomaly, it would be a loss in endurance/dmg but I would be able to drop more points into the VK tree.

I think speed is usually better since added flat damage only applies at 60% effectiveness
New cyclone of war axe node idea , axes increase the flat dmg effectiveness by 5% per point, to a total of +40%
imo phys pen should be on axe and mace... well really I don't care what happens to mace lol

if you mean something like "increased/more damage with javelin" it would apply
The simple answer is all modifiers you have on javelin are passed down to the ailments it inflicts, and apply to electrify if applicable based on electrify's scaling tags (lightning, DOT).
So the attribute scaling applies because it grants generic increased damage per attribute, and stuff like more DOT applies, but things like more hit damage or throwing damage do not apply.

So apparently this thing hits like a truck. Lvl 85 with really not good items, and void cleave is hitting +/-15m on the dummy already. I'm using both the bleed and timerot damage nodes successfully

If I run sunforged helm chest and hammer, would EACH INDIVIDUAL FW inherit the '25-42% ignite chance per forged weapon' affix? 15x FWs equates to a potential 630% ignite chance (converted to bleed by carrion gloves).

Forged Weapons don't benefit from +x per Forged Weapon effects
Even if they did, their ailments aren't yours to convert
they are mine to convert tho
I use morditas reach and carrion gloves, and the FWs stack bleeds
up to 3000
they stack zero frosbite stacks
They don't benefit from it because they can't have FW themselves

I am in a pickle, having both Rive and Multistroke with 2H + shield Forge Guard ... but It is soon time I should pick one of the two, for pure phys dmg with crit etc, which do you think is better, or doesn't matter - just pick whatever is fun?
Cuz Foe Cleaver is quite nice on Rive, but the armor to dmg thing and a lot of penetration on Multistroke, and the single target node makes it nice as well ...
(Also take into account it is a slow 2H)

Speaking of which... not only does vengeance not get void pen for time rot per overcapped void res, but the fire pen for ignite per overcapped fire res does not work. And even worse, I checked to see if phys res would scale fire or void, and for some reason on ignite specifically, have any overcapped phys res at all gives you like 66% LESS ignite damage!

Depends on only 1 thing if your build has melee flat damage void as a need for your weapon then darkstride is better cause you are a lot faster ,but if you dont need flat damage on weapon then army of skin is better cause you are faster ,and have attack speed and more damage to it.

the concept of the build is that shield rush costs 73 mana so with worldsplitter it hits half the screen and has 100% crit chance
the chest piece allows me to spam it infinitely without worrying about health cost
i was playing around with a builder for it earlier. at 155 dex you have effectively 7500% more damage between all the multipliers it can reach

playing vk warpath but I don't have a nihilis yet or t8 channeling so I was thinking of slamming t7 mana into an evolutions end for the lvl to skills and move speed but I was wondering if anyone else has a better idea

warpath is a bit short on other ways to scale ailments
even if the hit rate is very good
Not sure. The axes are subskills of WP, so they are capable of inheriting
isnt the hit rate actually terrible for ailments
it only has 60% of the chance to apply ailments per hit that other attacks do but it still hits very fast
and the vortex relic increases the hit rate by a lot with the axes
which don't deal less ailment damage
It also procs smite on hit and whatnot, so it's not just relying on the axes for damage
Play VK and get Echoed Warpath to shoot more axes
hammer throw has almost the same attack speed, no penalty and can proc smites without sacrificing its relic
hammer throw doesn't have the comfiest playstyle tho
that's why they need to add a node that throws hammers while you channel warpath
that should be the effect of vortex pennant, I mean it does have +1 throwing skills for no apparent reason given the lack of synergy it has with actual throwing skills
New player looking for some help- first ever time playing the game, made it to level 71 (sentinel) but am starting to get a little confused on how to progress my gear and what to be doing.
Looking for someone with a large amount of game experience/knowledge that would be ok answering beginner questions, bonus points if you're comfortable hopping in a call.
I'm an adult that learns quickly, so I will try and make this as quick and painless for both of us as I can.
1lp slams are going to be the big thing for you I would think

you've found some unique items which say they have [number] legendary potential, yeah?
in the temporal sanctum you can "slam" an exalted item with a desired affix (eg T7 % increased health on a chest) onto those uniques to add a number of affixes up to the legendary potential of the unique.
for most builds the item progression is from rares & unslammed uniques to 1lp uniques with the best T7 affix for the build in each slot

the temporal sanctum has tiers from T1-4, in T1 you can only slam low level uniques and you don't get to choose which affixes go on them
in T2 and above the item level of the uniques you can slam increases and you can choose one affix to be guaranteed
with 1lp uniques and single T7s being relatively common it's a very achievable power spike getting 1xT7 slams on all slots
with lp2 or lp3 the 2nd + 3rd affixes you get on the resulting legendary item are random though, so you have a 1/3 chance of getting the LP2 slam you want (you can only use exalted items with 2 prefixes & 2 suffixes)
Bonus tip; for most items donโt expect to get a 3lp or a 4 lp
especially given a solid number of items will still be below odds for dropping once the heat death of the universe happens
learning the LPL system (or even just looking at the LP odds for a given item in an item database) is probably the best way to approach this
basically: some items itโs very easy to get LP, some items itโs much harder
for example 4lp kestrel is like 1/270 kestrels

Your warpath skill points should be changed drop all the mana less consume,and leech max the more damage one get another point into armor shred and go into the more damage to low enemies
im starting to get a lot of merchant and black market tokens which has been helping to acquire the items already built to spec from MG

You also should drop the point for extra orb charge in devouring and in another place cause your more void damage node in devouring orb ain't maxed

I wish one day they would visit the old skills as someone who started at 1.0 warpath makes you slower when you spin has never made a lot of sense to me they should lower some of the downsides a bit ,likr 60 added and 40 ailment apply could be buffed slightly

With the new rift mechanic you have a lot of currency to spend on woven echoes
So reading it, lunge you can swap out with any mobility skill you feel more comfortable with. People just really enjoy lunge. I see he mentions that a really well rolled Odachi or crit multi spear (cant remember its name) is better than a 2lp sierpins, if you do an odachi, you can do some nice stuff with mobility Void Cleave.
I also noticed he takes the player healing node bottom left in HH, i don't think i saw them mention they're playing this build in a group? So you could swap points out for mobility healing hand as well instead of lunge
And then try and get i think its the champion affix sealed on a ring that teleports minions with you, so the mobility HH will always reduce cd for healing allies. Wrouk does that on his paladin manifest armor build
That is if you pick mobility hh
If void cleave, you can run far left, or run bottom left for crit vuln, which would help a weaker odachi out earlier

So yea looking at it, i think even a mid rolled Odachi with crit vuln void cleave would be solid on this
so something like this could be good, and if you have +1 melee skills, can grab Scorching Path far left on Void Cleave and even then a sealed champion affix teleport minions with you on traversal ring, could still be beneficial
and thats 3-6 stacks of crit vuln you're slapping on, so thats some nice extra crit to help out a mid rolled Odachi until you get a far better Odachi
and the minions will make use of that Crit vuln, since its a debuff on enemy
since its a T2 build, and doesn't have a primordial shown, but they really seem to want T7 melee attack speed, you could just T8 primordial attack speed an odachi for it
a small bit of sealed melee crit on sword, but all the extra flat damage and minion damage, more than makes up for not running a 2nd phantom grip, so you can run a champion sealed affix minion teleport on traversal ring, which better lets you run molten infusion on void cleave
yea honestly a mid rolled or high rolled odachi + void cleave traversal might actually be better for this build than sierpins
A crit Sword Catcher could be nice too

stupid idea, if you have Carrion of Creation gloves and a phantom grip so that your forged weapons convert ailments to bleed, does the Serpent Milk amulet give them a boatload of bleed chance? or does that only grant the player the 200% poison chance w/ forge strike direct attacks

i think its needed on the bar? easiest way to find out is if your character starts stacking symbols in the buff bar or not
