i am really struggling with loot filters, i tried to create one according to the maxroll explanation, and it was really hard for me and i kinda gave up 😭
i am level 70 and i am trying to do erasting strike void knight, any chance you got a loot filter ready to copy + paste?
it took me like 3 hours and read and try to understand everything, and i kinda can't do it anymore
Pretty sure Maxroll has lootfilter ready to use
i felt like it filtered everything, i didn't even get shards, glyphs or whatever it's name is idk!
But if you want to learn how to do your own, the most important is to remember this
The rule at the bottom should be "hide all items"
And then you add "show" or "recolor"
You cant filter shards , glyphs and runes
However you can disable item labels
Usually it happens with Alt + Z

if you want an exalted in the sealed slot yes, still a good way overall to get them
otherwise just high corruption, or imprints (but like you need one first)

that entirely depends on a lot of factors
roughly it should be somewhere around 300-400 corruption for it to not be super rare
not sure how some affixes being uncommon/rare/very rare affect that

In Dev Orb you have taken no more dmg (very little)
In Void Cleave there are again very little More Dmg that can apply to Time Rot

To give you an idea the best TR builds are Javelin that has inside the skill itself 300% More Dmg and 100% More Dmg and DOrb but with the big one that gives TR like 500% More dmg

1 shot timerot build is different to the timerot build on maxroll . Few slight item changes and different skill nodes and passives from the maxroll guide .
Also tbh it’s not easy to accomplish if you don’t have the right items with max stats needed , might take a week or 2 to get them

We don't know yet. Looks like some of the new primordial uniques could be usable; I see a 1h mace, shield, spear, and 2h axe (or mace?). Also some body armors and helms, which could also be interesting, depending on what they are.
Oh yeah, the ignite thing is one as well. Tyrant's skull is another thing, but that will probably lead you to forged weapons again.

Not sure , a few people who 1 shot with time rot have different variations of the build but most use armor exsang with +7 spell dmg and amulet apostates with 14% more dmg to bosses
timerot 1 shot isn't achievable by your average player. you need a lot of investment. swarmblade and falconer 1 shot, easily doable with single t7 affixes
Think you need also like 68-92% cdr , anomaly - void cleave - jav - anomaly
If your starting now to try to 1 shot with timerot it would be very difficult finding all the best gear needed , it’s quite hard to get max dmg
Season 3 looking good , going to a great to see all the new builds that players come up with , especially the new t8 gear that will be on some of the builds . And having just 1 on a hero is also a good thing I think ..

this is bugged, has been bugged for about 4+ years now, and they affect you and generate ward on you, even if you're on the opposite end of the map from them
yeah i don't think anyone cares that there bugged i love that the bear charge still can go out of the map i rember doing that in early beta
you can run a warpath forge guard lvl 20 into mono's right off the bat because of that node, you get basically a perma 400 damage shield every 10th a second
it caps at 400, but it just STAYS at 400, you take a big chonky hit and like 10th of a second later it shoots back up to 400
me wishing they'd fix the desync issues so we can finally play spam shield rush and spam rampage again
I was honestly kinda glad when they were bought out because they really need good upper managment, like there just a bunch of loot lizards in a corner making cool skills ignoring the back dev tool and sever stuff they need to do
they removed traversal from spam shield rush, but if i remember right, spam werebear still gets it, spam shield rush could shield rush 3-4 times a second, spam werebear can rampage double that amount a second and doesnt lose the traversal tag
but that affix was broken on spam shield rush up until they removed traversal tag on it
i miss the olden days when shield rush was our best dot applier, but because of desync issues no one can actually run it
well, no one can run it for spamming
idk my 1gb of upload and download can give it a try i wonder if thats stable enough

I mean Forge Strike already has a heafty mana cost and a cooldown you have to spend 5 pts to remove
so it should be the best way to summon forged weapons if you invest pts into it
You can use CDless FS to manage minions but you'll run oom and FG can't cheat the mana bar like VK with Void Well so you'd end up using MS/Rive/Veng anyway
even if mana was not a concern, which it is. FS is still slower by itself to summon minions than using MS + FS or Vengeance
it just feels jank to me.
Like I prefer how path of exile does it with iron mass skeletons.
You have the minion skill. And a melee/minion buff skill.
There's synergy there and it's only one button while in combat.
Basically it's Summon skeletons -> Use smite (which gives an aura that buffs attacks of allies

This way you're still using the melee skill. But you're not managing multiple things at once.

Technical question : Does subset of a skill inherit the initial skill scalar like ailments do? Would Ravaging aura benefit from Void Cleave 4% per strength like Ignite would benefit from Smite 4% per attunement for instance? Is it a separate case that only apply to ailment or does subskill also works the same?
there's a couple exceptions but as a general rule yes

like Detonation doesn't work, but Burning Patch after Detonation is a spell tag 🤷

they don't inherit conditional multipliers that rely on the enemy's status though which is bizarre as hell, but that's how it works

you know what my favorite part of Forge Strike is as a skill? It has like a billion tags
gets to double dip on logi's hunger and phantom grip
it's also a physical/fire skill

I'd like to try it with renegade's regardless. both warpath and rive scale so well with AS, espeically if you're doing a mana rotation, that I think it's possible to still eek out better results
but still bad that its another Skillpoint Tax skill if you wanna use it both for Forged weapns and for damage

My dumb questions had a motive behind them 
I've dusted and worked a bit further my idea for a ravaging aura centric build. If anyone is interested to discuss / bring suggestions to help out, shoot away!
The idea is to maximize Vitality, Void damage, Spell damage and damage over time in that order to scale the aura and void cleave as much as possible.
Gameplay would be to warpath for movement since no transversal + block chance, +80% to VC, proc orbs and rifts : VC to refresh aura. Anomaly on cooldown for bubble / rares.
Tentative gear shown. Obviously there's several upgrade possible but I kept the stuff from Uberroth out for now + thing that will require a lot of farming ( LP3 decayed skull, Null portent, etc. )
Time rot is used as a defensive debuff. Frailty is fine but armor shred is lacking. Gears upgrades with +skills (nilh, shatter) would help to round up some holes.
Currently, on average, at 94% block chance while spinning. Points can be moved to alliviate mana issues once I get to play test it.
To do : complete gear setting, figure out idols, fix resists (idols+unused gears affixs), reach 100% block while spinning.

i tried a ravaging aura build last season. you can use volatile reversal as a traversal skill
it can also cast abyssal echoes for you, pull your devouring orbs, make enemies take more void DoT
you shouldn't need any armor shred since you're a void DoT build anyway
I would put at least one more point into the ravaging aura node on void cleave so you can keep decent uptime on bosses. 4s cd and 1s uptime in single target is not fun
