I expect that for forge weapons you'll want plauge dragon's tongue, face of the mountain, falcon fist/immortal vise, tyrant's skull, brewmaster belt, foot of the mountain, and either 2 phantom grips + mantle of the pale ox OR phantom grip + legends entwined + sunforged reforged helm and chest
If Uber items are on the table there is no scenario you don't take Shattered Worlds with Sword Catcher and Advent of the Erased
for pure forged weapons I don't think that would be better tbh
I'd probably go with Clotho or sword catcher for VC buffs
I heard that a Korean gaming company acquired the game. Will we get more mtx?
Yes, they release new mtx every major patch
I just had an AI create a toggle for activating Warpath with .ahk, and it's pretty awesome... but I don't know how to deactivate the running script file yet
clotho is definitely a contender if you can get a halfway decent roll

Maybe a battle pass and a few lootboxes too 😅
i will spend some gold in stash tabs only to be sure (?
Full 200 stashes
I wish they would sell an additional stash expansion pack
Warpath is better than ES at killing Orobiss
true melee certified
You could've stopped at 'Warpath is better than ES' 💪
couldve stopped at anything is better than ES
I wish I had 3lp like @waxen nymph
Heyhoo guys! Anyone can help me to get a nihilis for my first es vk character? 🙂
After spinning around and getting dizzy, my character doesn't know where he've portaled back to 😂

Guys I reach 50% uber abby, what should I upgrade?

Sentinel (30) / Void Knight (5) / Forge Guard (3) / Paladin (75)

▸ Dodge Chance: 3% (106)
▸ Armor Mitigation: 71% (6,851)
▸ Block Chance: 99%, Mitigation: 61% (3,231)
A few things I'd change:
- Take the 6 points out of Covenent of Dominion and put (5) them into Prayer Aegis. This gives you 75 health and 130 endurance threshold.
- Change the spell leech blessing for health. Judgement is already healing you enough, no?
- Farm for a 3lp Majasa and get reduced damage taken on block and a bit higher block chance. 10% damage reduction from a t5 and 100% block chance goes a long way
with your changes I reached 30%
do i really need the 3 LP majasa?
I was thinking to enchant the idols with reduce dot dmg
Well you don't NEED it, but it'd help quite a bit. And 3lp majasa is pretty common
Lol first kill
See 💙
Yee
Nope
All resist is also good
sigh
Same mine 😆
Now the hard part is get a decent imprint shield
LOL
Should I duplicate it?
What's the block chance roll?
Nah, you'll get better
not good enough to imprint?
Up to you
Ofc
Wtf 20 min
17 gained mana plz, 1 affix still best
Does unbalanced scale in the Smite tree hit the same enemy multiple times? or does it have to be different Enemies. Probably a dumb question.
It is not a dumb question at all
It doesn't say different enemies
We kinda assumed it 'needs a different enemies
But I have seen a video recently showing that you get extra hit
On single target
It's a bolt per enemy, up to 3 enemies. So you get 1 hit on 1 enemy
Now is it intended or not 🤷
Well I'll be. Thank you both.
Dual-Wielding and tanking some of the biggest 1-shot mechanics in the game. What a time to be alive.

Section : "maybe a bug"
Huh, ye I would assume that's not intended. EHG don't usually like anything shotgunning without a drawback
How do i farm mana gained when you use vengeance ?
Craft
how?
Ytb search last epoch crafting, bro
Runes of havoc can shuffle the tiers, so you make a t1 mana gained into t7
Oki but is it a normal drop?
Ye
Any chance we know if Pillars of light will also cast the lightning bolt?
Wouldn't the added mana cost be the drawback?
And it's only one extra bolt per enemy? don't know if I'd call that strictly "shotgunning" if it's just 2 hits.
Hardly. Usually they gut the damage. With multistrike it's -80% damage. With shurikens it's -50% projectiles. With hundering souls it's -63% damage. A bit more mana cost is nothing. And it's obviously helping significantly in the damage department in Perry's vid
That's what the bug is supposedly - It's hitting all three if I'm not mistaken
perhaps I should watch the video he posted before asking more questions. Apologies for my ignorance.
All good. But ye, that one node adds like 2mil damage
Using the Blessing 650 armor while I'm revving up, sometimes the bike runs out of gas, and I often die suddenly because the armor drops drastically 🥹
What ios the easiest way to get A LOT of runes of havoc?
I actually don't know
But should be very easy to test on the dummies

Something else I should change?
Your relic should have +4 judgement, not poison res
Also the transcriber graver is a better weapon than cleaver (you are missing out alot on flat spell dmg)
I see you are using it for stat stacking with red rings. But honestly the midnight ring and sunwreath are great and come with more LP
Melee attack speed is also great for dmg and survivability on gloves instead of mana
Lastly healing effect also adds to flat spell and fire pen so try to get that as your 2nd affix on things like rings and +4 judgement comes with it too
https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/AK7Va5GA
I changed my build to this, let me know what youn think

I can farm the dragon relic but Im not sure it's better than this one
I can also equip the the winged gloves but again I'm not sure if the are better
Shattered world's is nice because of the DR and haste so it pairs well with the boots for DOT DR. You really do want those 4 skill points tho. If you go dragon relic then you need a way to apply haste which is where winged gloves comes in
The changed rings and weapon are all solid
With multistrike it's just +3 mana cost per sword, no damage penalty
Oh ye, true. It desperately needed it tho
Oh absolutely, that one node turned MS from a trash tier skill to competitive
Just now realized I wrote multistrike - I meant multiSHOT

btw you are not reaching 180 stat for the red ring
or i'm missing something?
they have 187, make sure to hit actual on the planner
do "Increased Echo Damage When A Skill Echoes" apply only to the next instance of damage or it's for 4 sec or something
the last I thought about that it was 4 seconds
nasty with fast attacks like multistrike then, a must
- the extra strikes inherent to multi strike aren't echos
- I'm fairly certain procing it while the effect is still active just refreshes the duration rather than stacking
tho also I've never tested that so thats my assumption
yeah only counting echos is enough but hard to meassure since you have like 200 numbers on screen from each strike
cause like 80% echo chance rive would be stupid if it stacked
one of the nodes in Rive's void corner doubles echo chance with it

either 1 ms slam or hybrid health or whatever
I Just Need to kill Uber abby once and uninstall the game 🤣
So any idea to make it possible is welcome
they releasing uber uber abby next season btw
Yeah but I would like to do it now tbh
Now the ENTIRE arena is a dot 😁
Reroll a falconer or a Serpent Strike druid
Man I have a lvl 100 sentinel, come on 🤣
Both have setup that os him with a single t7 slam
I don't think there is no way to do it
praise the turtle, the turtle giveth and the turtle taketh
not bad, ready to fail the slam

personally I'd aim for a belt with %increased life (T7) and aliment cleanse on potion chug (T1)
%increased life is just better than hybrid health (belts are the only slot that can have both)
I would also reccomend a lot more +5 vit 1x2 weaver idols
hmm lot of guides and vids I've seen use hybrid health
its just math
where x is health before any %increase
the remove aliments on potion chug is for uber void boi when he cuts your damage in half (also if you get the mimic bros gloves)
oh wait
you need armor shred on your gloves
sustaining 40 armor shred stacks = 40% more void damage
that over mana t7?
ideally both, but you dont need the shred to be exalted... you would need some armor shred idols tho to sustain 40 stacks
idols like this
these better?
don't have any with shred and echo dmg
losing the armor to dot hurts a lot but in terms of damage yeah
yea gotta go find them
max out your weaver tomb and cemetery chance on the weaver tree (that cluster directly up from start) and get farmin'
or if your merchants guild buy them
cof, cool got plenty to work on now. thank you
bonus help: your passive tree looks solid

just gotta do the big grind
yeah, my prob is just finding some double exalted items as well heh
tho if you feel your getting crit a lot, drop some points from abyssal endurance and put them into the blind node in paladin
best of luck
make sure your using the imprint feature
and trying to load up ton of prophecies
lp2 world splitter from nemesis finally heh
thanks
Okay, using the new set ring, what are peoples' thoughts on multistrike with shattered lance, vessel, cleaver, and last bear?
I'm sure there is likely a better skill for AE's spec, like rebuke or a specced traversal, idk. Anyone got any better skill picks?
holy F***
Smite might be better than abyssal echoes. You can make it a traversal skill, also give you 20% attack speed, chance to cleanse ailments, chance to blind
Tho AE does have guaranteed blind, which you sort of need
Interesting, I hadn't considered smite for the buffs + traversal. AE gives 20% attack speed too though, in addition to 20% more damage multi
Toast you've been here for years, how have you just realized
lol well, I don't always think of every option for everything
Even with me over the years calling smite the best traversel
unspecced VR is pretty good now
Can target someone through 5 buildings and appear behind them like "parry this you filthy casual"
what about proc healing hands with multistrike while also making the casted version a traversal skill?
didn't test it myself tho
Good one yes
Can do that with smite too
yeah (i can't do that cause smite is not true melee 😔 )
What is "true" melee, no ones ever used "true" before until im just now coming back
You mean just melee?
nah just my joke, take big weapon deal big melee damage, physical only => true melee
2h mace shield basher
100% true melee certified
Ive seen others mention true melee too though
The heck
I thought it was in reference to indirect and direct attacks
maybe there are more ranged attack haters out there
True melee usually refers to being up in the enemy's face. Whereas you can hit something from 50 meters away with something like flame reave even if it's technically melee
did someone tested multistrike with high stun chance?
Is there a source that significantly boosts damage when mobs are stunned? If not, it’s a bad idea
yeah it is, let see if i can remember the name
so usually mobs do not live enough to get stunned, but this is the only item i recall right now that will boost damage since it's a "more" not an increased
best of luck tho since its a WW not an LP one
Press G and fill in "stun" to learn about its mechanics
explain
You remind me of when I was playing Pally Judgment and accidentally slammed an affix that increases stun chance, wondering why it still had no effect after hitting for so long, until I learned more about it 🫂
You need a sufficiently high amount of damage per hit to trigger a stun effect, and for bosses, this number is much higher. With that amount of damage, you can also kill the boss very quickly
yeah but i assumed LE had Stun Buildup => multiple smaller hits can stun the same as just one big hit
No, there are no status buildups like that in LE
Each hit independently rolls its stun chance, and if you deal a very low % of the boss's max health per hit, it may have 0% chance
thanks, my main goal was just crit multi so i didn't spent any slam with stun, somehow i assumed stun buildup existed without checking at all lol
Low damage with many hits in this game will only work for building ailment stacks 🫂
Farmed for over three weeks and only got one
I have a 41% block chance when using Warpath and Needle. Does the double effect of this passive node still apply?
Should because needle concert to parry
Because it doesn't completely convert block change to parry on the character sheet like other stat conversions, I'm a bit hesitant
Would be a good question for Mike
2'30" for Uber with my VK warpath
Struggling with the passive for void shield throw🫡
I'm just torn between the role options for this build to allocate points effectively 😅
no not my ranged edge of screen forge strikes!
if you play multistrike/forge strike, yes
since forge strike gets 1:1 dot dmg increase with stun chance
the new ember amulet might be what is needed to push ignite forge strike over bleed forge strike
i like how many more builds these days can hybrid dot/crit and actually work compared to years ago
it doesnt apply and i think i saw mike say it's a bug like 2 months ago
is it fine to run ES with a 0.3 world splitter, cuz ive unable to get another world splitter after like 30+ harbs
It's fine to start with yeah
why does Paladin use Transcriber Graver is it literally just for the penetration?
Attack speed, spell damage, penetration
a lot use Dragorath's as well
good on Paladin Manifest Armor
Wrouk has consistently held #1 on leaderboard with manifest armor paladin for a time, drago's is top notch
prob a good farming build too, since he always takes #1
weapons not even for us, good for us lol
yeah thats so weird after googling that i would of never considered it had I gotten it as a drop. Same for Transcriber
this is my first time playing since EA and my first time on sentinel at all it seems so busted
Because there hasn't been any other choice yet
any source penetration is strong af, around 20% in just 1 item is really good
best T7 on amulet is 15%
dragorath
Dagger?
If using a sword, it will be possible to add 40% attack speed with the passive
yeah but if it's for a spell damage manifest armor then the dagger makes a lot of sense
praise the turtle, the turtle giveth and the turtle taketh
not the best tbh but at least it's something
hmm clotho from normal cemetery... thought it was just lostwood folly
It's anywhere you encounter Fateweaver Clotho boss
do sealed affixed are taken into account for rune of havoc?
nope
Clotho, Atropos, and Lachesis all appear in tombs, one of them is the end boss at random. The Firstborn is always the boss in normal cemeteries.
can i use an armor of a different class to slam? like an exalted mage helmet and a unique helmet available to all classes
yes, so long as you don't slam class-specific affixes
and as long as the base unique isn't class-specific
i.e. kermode's cage
Am I just unlucky or are good judgement hats actually the hardest thing to find on the whole build?
Swear they gotta be
Red rings are easier to come by than a good helm smh
I've got like 20 red rings, but look at my hat...
and that's even with 3 imprint slots on weaver tree for helmet 💀
I was about to ask what were you cooking with some of the equipment but then saw you’re doing hc, then it started making sense
Monument of Protection is incredible for HC. I farm at 300 corruption and can trivially walk away from my computer in almost any mob if I'm playing at work and something comes up. Once I roll life on block enchant on the last of my idols I think I'll have like 160 health on block 😤
Gonna throw my build in later and ask why I can facetank uber slam with nihilis but not orian’s eye, maybe cuz one had more dmg while other doesn’t so no leech?
that'd be an upgrade for me!
Your helmet would be an upgrade for me 💔
I'm like a million favor into exalted helmet prophecies, give me some of your luck haha
Nemesis
Dont spend favor
Imprint after got sample
Prophecies for exalted are pretty lame, only suitable for new players who have nothing in hand
wait what do you mean
I do hundreds of nems a day and they havent given me a good helmet T_T
I assume there's some strategy I'm missing?
You just need to find a base item with any dual t7 affixes and imprint it. It can drop dual t7 with Leonine, then simply swap out Leonine to continue imprinting
ah so you mean nems just to get the dual t7 leonine, got it
I'll make a filter rule, thanks
It's not mandatory for the type to be Leonine; the type of the base item has a higher chance of imprinting the same type, but it can also imprint a different type
Finding any helmet with any dual T7 affixes from Nemesis is much easier than spending favor on prophecies to find it
the problem is you are imprinting your current helmet, which you should pretty much never do. especially in your case, your current helm has no t7 on it at all and it has 0 fp. The most important things when imprinting is 1. Most number of t7s, 2. high FP. item type and affixes come after that
Good to know, I wasn't taking imprinting as seriously as I should have, apparently. I figured it was a tiny bump and I was basically just grinding out normal drops.
I figured a few thousand hours of prophecies would get me there some year XD
manipulation of the imprint system is pretty much how kuden has triple t7 slammed legendaries
hot. I'm a little offended it's that OP. my 'grind forever' sensibilities XD
its going to be interesting to see if they tone it down or anything, because imagine a 3 t7 exalt with a sealed t8 (Primordial exalt)
I don't think so because I've seen an Exalted with 6 affixes in the new trailer
failed again, missed void damage t7

Is there a trick to doge aberoth blue waves? I always reach the last phase with 5-6 stacks and I get rekt
He will signal you, and you just need to stop attacking and run in the opposite direction
Most cases where they couldn't dodge, from what I've seen, are because they were too eager to keep attacking him relentlessly
FINALYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
IM FREEEEEE!
It took way too long but it's done, I'm happy and I can wait for the next patch 😊
Will t7 mana + crit multi provide better damage than that amulet? For Warpath VK
Don't know
If compared to T7 mana + increased void damage, it only slightly outperforms in terms of ailments, but not significantly, since I also have an amulet like that and have tested it
Using Holy Warpath feel abit like cheating 😆
I'm trying to imagine @waxen nymph chicken claw in this situation
Ur mtx skill
How fast is it? What's your fastest kill with it
You mean the mighty dragon claw then
2'30" now
And this has been bricks with Kuden
I failed 4 2LP vise today
What build is it?
Warpath VK
These aren't the affixes I'm aiming for when playing ES VK, but it's the best I have, so I'm still using it. I'm trying to find another Vise to replace it
do you have any idea how little that narrows it down Vlad
theres like 15 warpath bulds
but only physical damage warpath is true melee
Warpath VK?
That's like 2 builds at most
Melee and Smite Warpath
if we want to get technical we can could like every weapon combo as a different warpath

Each combo wants different things

Yesterday, I saw a pretty strong void smite build using Omnividence, but unfortunately, it runs on VR
Paladin Fire Warpath (not true melee)
VK void Warpath (not true melee)
Palading Warpath Smite (not true melee)
Physical VK/Paladin (100% true melee)
Holy void gang, another person who uses omnividence?
Throwing warpath -> melee
heresy

Phys FG
too much fire support imho, not enough phys penetration/crit shit
I still want the 4th mastery for sentinel to be pure phys focused
Cast off the need for the gods/higher powers

4th mastery?
True melee
Somewhere sometime I vaguely remember a dev saying 4th masteries are probably going to be a thing
Found it
Thanks Mike from a few months ago
VK has quite a bit of phys support, for some reason
Vk lost a chunk of it with the rework
Which fair enough vk needed it way less now that more skills have void converts
- those nodes were almost certainly made when weapons inherently gave physical, not adaptive damage, so more reason for phys support
FG is like a wayward child
True
They kept their phys pen node only, though a lot of their stuff is generic melee I guess I just still had that impression for some reason
Yeah sorrow and steel was the real phys damage hold out until the rework
Tho echos really make any kind of damage a lot stronger
Yeah for real

either primalist deserves a berserk subclass or the next class is something berserk oriented
No wand 3x7

Yeah, they do intend to do that as well, in the far future probably tho
Inb4 chronomancer class
make them a nagasa assistant to Julra and she got angry and yeeted you out of the sanctum
lol
They have that, its called bottom row beastmaster sharkzerker
You can get to actually game breaking attack speeds
Like actual breaks the game and is bad
If i remember right, sharkzerker is like 500%+ attack speed if not higher
And i think the game starts breaking around 400%+
But i'd bet if you ran it with the slow hit hammer it'd just hit moderately fast and not break and hit like a truck
how wtf
Tempest strike goes brr
shark aspect affix helm and chest, relic, and idols
and then shark stacking
i mean ignoring masteries thats litterally what warcry does
lel
yeah lol, swipe beastmaster has really high boss dps
Upgrade for ES VK
10% more damage, more stun and mana lol
But less ms
I have over 140ms, so an additional 20ms is negligible for me unless I'm using boots that increased damage based on ms
Hi if I was building a bleed hammer throw which stat would increase dot more - 120% damage over time, 120% physical damage, 36% throwing attack speed (anything else max T7 that you can think of that I haven't put) or do would they all add the same amount of extra dmage to the dot - specifically talking about for rings/gloves/relics
think i'll season start my old forge guard
its just such a breeze easy build
that new ammy lookin good for bleed/ignite forge strikes
YOLO on an untested build you thought up 5 minutes before league start gang where you at
I've been wanting to try an Obsidian Hammer/Communion build.
Hum with short stun duration is, I don't think thats a very good archetype
Me and my multistrike bleed pali 🫡

good slamed lp2, blessed
how is bossing without crits?
Fine. I can kill normal abby in about a minute, and normal bosses in like10 seconds
Can't do uber abby tho
yet
Eulogy of Blood ??
I guess 35% Bleed Duration
No Blood of the Exile ??
Best unqiue axe for bleed. Undisputed is pretty much the same but needs ramping up even more
I'm converting endurance threshold into bleed duration
An exalted would do better though, I just don't have it
Flame Burst just for an extra Hit with 200% More Dmg ,?
I guess your procc it real quick on boss
Oo Dodge Rating Blessing
Noice
I hit so often enemies literally glow like a lightbulb because of it
127% Bleed Duration
~270% while standing
So not sure you need Eulogy, no ?
With close call and a bunch of enemies hitting, you can get way higher bleed duration
Lol
No, not really
35% Duration when you could get 255% Inc Dmg from Undisputed ?
I like crit damage
I tested it and it was pretty much the same numbers so I didn't bother. If I get a higher lp undisputed tho I'd just switch
i would like to see that tbh
Both gave around 34m bleed pops
another argentum enjoyer i see
Pretty great
amazing, and true melee also
Bleed 👍
Hmm
Flayers pride + that bleed twohanded sword forge guard?
The wengari one
Torkefin ?
Yea
Darn
But maybe with Forge Strike it would be better
Like Jav + Forge Strike , Amadora style
Hmm
Flayers pride + essence weaver + forge strike
- spear for the crit multi to pen node in forge strike
- essence weaver to trigger spells and apply more bleeds
Hmm
Maybe multi strike that then triggers forge strike
So you can stack the essence weaver faster
Good, but majasa's is just too good for survivability
Maybe by just nerfing block DR across the board?
if max block DR is 40% at 15k effectiveness, that its a much more balanced amount of dot DR at 12-13%
now going from 85 to 40 is extreme, but you understand the point.
Block not even able to reduce damage by half just sounds wrong
The current ~42% DR at 1500, which nearly every shield has by existing is a little strong though.
Thats what 75% all resist gives or 4600 armor (2500 for phys). To be fair resist also works for dots.
Using a shield also usually means you're heavily nerfing your damage potential, unlike every other defensive layer
Like if I just swap to a 2 handed axe I add 10m damage
current content (for sentinel) don't quite require the shield defensive layer tho
only if you want to push over 600/700 c
right?
30% damage vs at least double EHP? Thats a complete no brainer if your lacking defenses
Ye, but the limiting factor for builds is usually damage, not tankiness. Using a shield doesn't automatically mean you can do 1000+ corruption, but the damage that comes with using a 2 hander often is the enabler. I.e. world splitter
Shields don't give automatic 100% block chance, it does take some investment. Granted nowadays specifically for sentinel, it's not much investment. If anything needs a nerf, it's that
Block chance isnt going back into the box easily
Fr, every other class struggles to even make use of block
I don't want to have to explain to new people that not only does blocking not prevent all damage, it only prevents like 30%... oof
If block effect isnt nerfed, next season will have every minion build using t-rex with mountain shield xD
Gotta tell them that parry is path of exile’s block

If face is the problem, nerf face imo. Give it X% less block effect or something.
I don't think any amount of convincing is going to make it feel right for blocking a hit to give about the same DR as a glancing hit
yeah, I could just see them double effectivness requirement to hit DR cap.
I mean, they said they dont want people face tanking Uberroth, but that is exactly what shield enables.
Bastion of honor stocks are up if they do that
I don't see block staying as is without either multiple changes, or just tapped block effectiveness
Block probably does deserve a nerf overall for sure
Block will most likely get a change, I can’t see them making it that large of a change tho
Would that even be worth it? You'd be using so many of your suffixes on endurance% that you'd be struggling with resistances, armour, health. You'd need high lp. Bastion of honour seems way better with rex
Yea
Bastion of honor + cleaver solution rex
Strength stack to juice the rex and get free capped block chance to save investment into block chance
More multi is strong though.
Bastion requires you to be close, face doesn't but is weaker as a tradeoff, idk I can see uses for both
I think bastions “free 100% block” given the context of strength stacking is a big enough upside
and the stats are shared with your minions, not all of them need phys pen or melee damage
all minions benefit from more multi
Because you free up a lot of investment into block chance to get more damage
I don't think you free up anything, you'll want to invest in both str and endurance either way probably
Melee minion build wants str for sure, and if it is phys based minions than cleaver will fit
but not all minions are that
Yeah like FW or some MA builds
In the context of sentinel, it's most of them anyway
Yeah you replace the block chance investment with strength, that with the talked about build is a lot of pen and flat damage for mr T. rex
Probs shoulda worded it as replace block chance investment with strength
Instead of free up
Well no, with face you get your block chance from endurance instead
Which gives a more damage and more health multi
Max endurance you can get is about 300%. That's 60% more damage for your other minions, and costing you a whole bunch of t7's. Whereas cleaver can give you up to 600 flat melee and 200% phys pen. I can see a use for the endurance ver, but I honestly don't think it's worth the investment
Yeah the flat + pen > the endurance scaling
Not to mention the 400% increased damage strength itself gives
Er wait isn’t it 1% more health and damage per 1% endurance
ye
Ye, assuming your using it to buff your other minions at 20% effectiveness
Yeah I think the stupid amount of flat alone wins out here
Red line was for smth else
It was annoying scrolling here and in another convo to see the relic 😅

I wonder how it will play with Forge Weapons
Plus I never feel great with overcapping endurance %
¨Probably not great since they are temporary and we dont know how often that thing roars
- the roar frequency is probs balanced around minion horde necro
Honeslty as a Sentinel main I am more interested in the ignite Amulet
Chef !
If we're talking about buffing your FWs for example, str doesn't give them anything
Oh damn ur right
You'd want both str and endurance either way
that feels like a crime
I want to try Paladin with just rex
Any ideas for it?
Could make some crazy ignite build interesting
Then lets assume summon bear as an example, which would
With how much Fire Res you get as Paladin or FG
I like that it seems to basically unlock ignite prolif, so we could use "big beefy single-ish target ignite skill" potentially
Shred and flat is kinda mid for a dot sword sadly
With attack speed and fire pen I guess ignite?
Self Cast Smite ??
I threw together a vengeance build for that amulet, got 500% res https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/A1EqvwZA

Can smelters wrath be used for a big fat ignite
Might need a bigger skill
Then said big ignite gets passed around from everyone you smack
I was going to ask this except judgment
Like if an enemy has ignites on them, it can still spread to them right
Pally got the big ignite supports for some reason
Will be intersting to see how it works with this node
I'm assuming it works like warlock spreads, so each stack can spread to a whole pack independently of all other stacks
This could be good
if we ignore the repeat cast mechanic, warpath warriors fury should get some good multi
Don’t forget stoked flames
Given we’re already igniting a bunch
And maybe furnace for just more ignites too
Hear me out: Ignite lunge
That might be too many points
You had to mention it, didnt you
If like everything on lunge didn’t require it to kill stuff, sure
Work with convert too
Furnace gets a few ignites out there -> hey look like 100% more damage

I said it has an effect on Smite's conversions
The node you replied to is in Smetler
Smth like this ?
maybe Kuden meant ignites from smite?
Damn it, I confused
But I am a bit more interested in Forge Strike
We could be insane, like battle standard ignite
do these work together? proc healling hands on multistrike, 100% chance, instead of being casted around the target is casted on me, so i get the damage reduction from the nodes of the right
first time using HH
yea
melee trigger healing hands its casted on the guy you melee smack so it will hit you
But I dont think Ignite is strong enough to go with a cooldown skill like that
Not sure if the targeting node works well, but it's easy to get the buff regardless
You need a lot of stacks
Maybe yeah
@waxen nymph I was thinking this to just cause a ton of ignites while charging wrath and then you apply a really really big ignites when you release it
then the amulet spreads the really big ignite around
VC has some unique ignite scaling, but probably not good enough to build on...
Maybe it will be time to get a 1h dragon axe with the champion meteor affix and primal bleed / ignite chance
cooldown kinda kills it I think
EQ could be crazy imo
how dare you correct my inability to read
twice
I look at the charge time on smelters like a cooldown, except backwards... I'll call it a warmup
gotta build up your wrath
Yeah for sure, and it can be bhuldar's
this probably wants hubris gloves to leverage bleed-y boi chance into ignite
Must be
Vengeance was mentioned earlier, I think that might be one of the more chill options. If they fix that phys pen per phys res to convert to fire anyway, think I heard it doesn't convert atm.
Sadge there is much Fire support in Primalist
Swarmblade with bhuldar + fire tornadoes
I think someone said lich is getting more cold support, I hope it also gets more fire support

It might, though it does seem like they are leaning in to warlock = fire, lich = cold
Just my guess anyway
I wana cosplay as the fire lich boss
Speaking of warlock, that amulet does give generic ignite chance... maybe a witchfire thing?
tho I guess lich could get a lot of build around nodes added to reaper form
and the more generic stat nodes get reduced
if it's good enough for ignite to be a top or near top tier build on multiple classes that will be sick for team play next season, with that node on enchant weapon that blows up ignites for 3x damage 🙏
hit (couldn't wait for t7-t7/t7-t6)
Oo
nihilis bugged?
@alpine canopy This exist
yeah, 14% of 1hp can't reach 1
like even on any timeline? I always wondered but never wanted to test on HC 💀
lemme check
it would be very unfortunate to find that it actually operates using a float and it eventually rounds to 0 lol
yeah, still alive, couldn't take the screenshot i was oneshotted by ranged spiders 😄
good to know, thanks!
i did +20 evades and still remained on 0
hmm i guess actually if it already is rounding to 0 then... maybe you can only die to damage?
funny this doesn't need to hit, just casted lol, free stimpack
yeah i spam vengeance between bosses when they're sequential even with nothing to hit for that reason
also means low life mana on hit is probably pretty much unworkable haha
It is a float
The display value is a short
that actually brings back my concern for a long enough time period then 💀
It would be a pretty long time before it hits 0, and they might have put in some protection against that
Like it's safe to always wear those "% current health lost per second" items with disabled health regen
thanks for the confirmation
damn, i've been playing this since beta. and i JUST LEARNED that you can stack concentrated grounds for more dmg?
and here I was only doing 1 concentrated ground builds....
Grounds yes
Aura no
I can't find 2lp in my stashes, but why do I have this thing? Too bad the roll is so awful
I mean
If your doing a void wizard vk you better have like 200 flat anyways from vitality
And then who cares about damage reflection
i never understood why that has damage reflect
i just googled the name to see if its meaning had anything to do with reflect but nope
Given how stupidly rare and okay-ish it is ima guess reflect was important to vk or void spells at one point
im thinking maybe back during stance times? when was omni a thing again? since day 1? i cant even remember
Tho I guess since it means all seeing that kinda in line with eyes as it has a bunch of eyes and eyes can be considered a reflection of a persons soul
100% sound logic
Spell damage, mana cost, spell void damage
It was added in 0.7 or before according to last epoch tools
holy i thought i've only been playing since 2019, but now google tellin me it entered steam at the start of 2019
What spamable void spell is gonna cost more than 8 mana/where -8 mana doesn’t solve its cost problems
Yes 14 flat would be nice but if your doing a wizard vk your gonna have a shit ton of vitality which gives 2 flat void spell damage each, so loosing 14 isn’t the end of the world like it is on every other caster
Loosing roughly 50% increased damage also will not make or break a build

I just took it to imprint and picked up something even worse 😂

This game attracts me not because of the storyline, so I don't really care much about it
arpg players play arpg's for storylines?
its like borderlands players that complain about the story, dog we play it for loot, builds, and slaughter, same as arpg's, the story means nothing
I play it like an MMO, farming items, then slamming them, and chatting a bit with friends when I have free time
my best unclaimed trove so far
Im feelin
Like a dps/support gaspar's with the new ring might be fun
Lightning smites + HH, and fire abyssal echoes
There might be smth to do with Gaspar + ring + Doom pulse staff
Or Lament of the lost refuge (Spell Void spear)
Sadly, decimate on fire is on the sceptre
Then might be a mage or Primalist angle
is there a way to filter for items with 2 exalted affixes?
With at least 2 and tier of individual affixes more or equal than 6
imo fire and lightning are the best ones on primalist since you can auto them with tornado
If only the water sphere sphere was a melee
being true melee raise your soul but reduce a lot the items and skills you can use 😢 . True melee giveth and taketh

For the node in Multistrike, does it ignore the ICD of Forge Strike?
Yes
got another 😂

Damn it, I don’t have any 3xt7 for the spell build 🥹
For void dot? Wonder if this is any good. Only seen the black blade of chaos in those builds
Don’t think I’ve seen that drop before heh
it would be good for void multismite if staves could roll attack speed, I've seen that build do okay without a 2h t7 aspd roll but it would be much better with one
I mean it would just be better cause that means more smites
But also why use a staff over a multistrike smite sword
because omnividence makes each (void) smite hit harder than a multistrike smite sword and entirely fixes the mana issues that some multi smite builds run into
Fair enough
Tho if you want, I’d personally do direct cast smite with it over multistrike smite
Because smites double cast node stacks with echos
Plus then cast speed 👍
multistrike has its own echoes nodes that's pretty sweet and you almost always get more smites/s with multistrike than self cast smite don't you?
obviously smite has benefits of range and autotargeting at the edge of the screen making monoliths incredibly safe
Yeah multistrike should be more smites per second
But going direct caster only means less stat split
- frees up a skill spec
So it’s a build crafting question and a how do you want to play question
Imo try both and see what you like
yeah you could get abyssal echoes for the blind + more damage to blinded enemies i guess
the multistrike build i saw was using auto dorbs too
The 20% more damage with 90+ vit is great
Everything else the dorbs do is also great
And it doesn’t change your skill rotation

Dorb 💖
The void cleave jav rot one shot build I think stacks cast speed for more anomaly casts I think
dorbs don't have many more multis to go with all your amazing +flat that spell hit VK has tho, serious limits on how much scaling you get
yeah totally different build and that one stacks cast + attack + throw speed because they're big damage multipliers with rot grip
Yeah
Auto cast turret dorb is more a supportive skill
If you want to point and remove a troublesome rare on wizard vk, damage spec anomaly is fun
heya, this was really helpful and seems clear enough: 2x T7 is better than 4x T6, but though I'd double check (I have that choice, both 50+ FP)
don't get me wrong, +2 flat per vit is so so much better than 4% increased per attunement as an attribute scalar, but the skills it works with don't have big damage multi nodes to go along with it in most cases
this is not for a slam (judgement helmet) so T7 slightly less key than would be the case if it was for a legendary
Mmm time wave tho
time wave? I haven't tried that. the time bubble side of things just feels so important to have for a lot of VK builds that don't need the time rot speed reset stuff
I also guess if I want stretch what a more damage multiplier is, having a second dorb out is basically 100% more dorb damage
yes that is true, if you stack cdr and run you can have a lot out with lucky echoes
More so on the shooty bit not the smack them bit
this is what I did for damage anomaly
volatile reversals first hit is soooo slow
Yeah but it’s still so much fun to use it

key thing is that we time wave on anomaly hit and when them come back so we hit with both time waves with the they don't jump forward node
the bubble is meant to just sit on a boss or big rare to shred tf outa them, bonus points go into the cdr inside the bubble node because nothing else really felt useful
also mark of rot does its thing too
additionally timewave's base stats
and what more damage we get on anomaly's tree
sadly even when trying to spec for pure cooldown reduction, it was not enough to make it feel remotely good as a main skill, still super nice for obliterating a tougher rare
B@stard do not want to drop 2lp (these and other 15-20 drops)
That’s a lot of heart twisting
T_T
do someone have a trick to farm red ring? it would be great to have at least 1
ñ posting
COF prophecies, people say about 200k favor spent on them or so
Armor too low, really worried
failed craft
yeeup, and because it ignores it, you can weave in on cooldown forge strikes whenever, if you just need a little extra oomph
how in the world do you screw it up that bad
what was the starting potential
It was crafted for a different build that needed experimental, but I got unlucky using Havoc, and now it probably suits this Void Smite build
do you think VK Time Rot will be nerfed tl the ground? it's the only notable build i had no time to play 🥲
Nerf to the ground? No
Bring back to earth? Hopefully
I doubt it will happen but I think EHG needs to rethink the way more-multipliers on skills get inherited by the ailments. At the moment it feels like many ailment builds are either broken good or broken bad based on completely nonsensical multiplier inheritance from outlier skills
normal intended time rot builds and javelin time rot are completely different levels of power for instance
I could see them changing the largest outliers to still work with hits but not dots
Yup, change battle standard's multi to "direct damage" or "hit damage" and it's done
I dont even know why it has a More Dmg
Fair, they could totally delete it too, lol
got it
is anchor of oblivion better than this? even as 0lp? or does it have to be a good 2lp?
1lp anchor can slam +4 to symbols, 2lp prob much better
where do I get +4 to symbols
items with the affix drop randomly, shatter (or rune of removal) them to get affix shards and use crafting + runes of havoc to get T7 versions.
You can get more +skill items dropping from rune prison mages on the weaver tree
so I should get an item with a good t7 and an open affix and craft that? but it would be a 2lp with a t7 and a t5 right? unless I find a double t7 relic
I have one with t7 symbol actually! lul
its the only t7 tho
I mean that's really a judgement for you to make but id say get single T7 slams before worrying about the perfect 2lp
if I get a 2lp should I keep it for the future or try to slam the t7 and a decent t5
that depends on how rare the 2lp is and how good your imprint is for getting exalted worth slamming into that 2lp.
if 2lp is giga rare, don't settle for a mid exalted to slam into it and hope it hits, if 2lp isn't too hard to get then T7+T5 is fine, then you're really just deciding how much farming you want to do.
I generally think Maxroll's endgame planner guideline of no lp rarer than 1/100 and only a single exalted affix per item is a good benchmark for not aiming too high or too low
funny you mention the maxroll guide because on there it says to slam Mana on the relic, and on the 2lp shattered worlds(lol) they put mana and all res while channeling
so should I put mana or symbols of hope on the anchor?
4 prophecies in
can't complain at all
Congrats! When you imprint this, things will go much faster moving forward
totally forgot about that, thank you
praise the turtle, the turtle giveth and the turtle taketh
T_T
nothing
Sounds like the turtle only taketh
The turtle only brings unexpected gifts when fed enough, it has to be several hundred times that amount, otherwise, just think about going to cleanse LP for a chance at Nemesis
indeed
running a smite warpath voidknight
its pretty comfy and can actually tank/engage with the content still. I feel like i might be able to share tips or the build
i dont see too many smite-warpath VK buildguides out there... maybe its a done to death kinda build?
Honestly not really from what I've seen. At least none that are up to date. If you're interested in making your own imo Le tools is a good place to make one in. You can also always do a video
huh.. Yeah! That might be good place to go about things
impressive none the less if it's legit, haven't seen anyone push that high with any sentinel build except biman (erasing strike). interested what the shade kills look like
ill beeline to the shade and make a video, i guess?
yeah for sure, no one has put out anything like that for warpath
honestly, I am mostly about the build mechanics - i thinks thats neat. As long as the build can push past 1k corruption and do uber abbaroth its a winner i think
Warpath is very Uber viable so I'm not super surprised or anything but yeah I don't think I've seen a proper guide outside of maxroll maybe
No smite tho
So it's a bit different for sure
oh, interesting! I feel like what you really need to push super high into corruption is defenses more then anything. Either you dodge abuse like the falconers or you have to go quite hard into it.
Yep agreed
yeah, gimme a sec, ill try to record a video
warpath kinda went a bit under the radar, it was on maxrolls stier in almost everything but everyone seemed to play erasing strike instead
Warpath has always been S tier in terms of clear honestly
errr, just an echo i guess any maybe a normal abbaroth? i think that might be best for dps stuff
problem was that the guide recommended the needle
so people can compare it to. uber abbaroth is... xD honestly, its just a shitshow in terms of what is going on haha
yeah the bloody needle
Yep that would be good. Maybe a shade at your top corruption too would be nice to see
sure! ill beeline to one
whats the issue with the needle? seems more like a falconer weapon to me
it's almost impossible to get a really good one, so even if a "middling" one is good, it still feels bad to keep farming over and over
and on the surface yeah, looks like it's for falconers, but the base stats on the item are amazing
would have thought that the weaver items might be more available with merchants
at least good ones
but yeah, farming them with CoF seems like such a pain
yep
locks out half (honestly, I have no idea what the actual split is) of the playerbase
now, a decently rolled needle with a t6+ & t5 of what you want is probably excellent, it still feels bad
and there's apathy's maw with 2lp that's somewhat easy to get, but the guide put the needle as the main weapon, so I'm sure it dissuaded some just on the surface
here you guys go
its a bit haggard, i just quickly recorded a normal abbaroth
now i am going to bed. good night! Ill make a proper writedown later on
?????????????
you should get most out of it from the video; the exact rolls for the legendaries i make a writedown of tomorrow

bonus points for chad vaion chariot
the endurance rolls are just there because why not tbh; you can absolutely throw them out
you barely ever dip into the endurance range anyhow and its not built around that at all
The planner isn't their real gear. It's just the "ultimate" aspirational gear. In case there was confusion lol
We all wish we could have gear like that lul
the 9.5k tho, must not be that far
It must be far off, trust me lol
that's kinda obvious, but like this just means its an offline build, so anything goes. if you're making an offline build to test stuff out, you'd want to be using realistic gear, or you may as well turn god mode on and all the damage sliders up to max and play the game like that
Either it's far off, they're cheating or somehow paused time and played for 500 thousand hours
never saw more than 2 T7 on the same item tbh
Someone else the other day dropped a 4 T7 but the most I've seen is a 3 T7
But that's not even the rare part
kuden has legit 3 x t7 stuff, but if we're talking reaslitc gear for a planner, you wouldnt put more than 2 x t7 for the lpl80+ items, that's already super aspirational
Some of those uniques just don't exist at 4lp
what is the one that says "almost impossible" on the lp4 part on the wiki?
Even at 3lp some are absolutely insane
We have actual numbers
Even a 2lp shattered worlds is bonkers good if you hit the slam
Yep
fu**ing ravenous void
i actually got 2 1xlp rav void this season, was super happy. after never seeing them drop in over 1k hours
Here are the numbers on wings old lpl value without CoF or corruption
i got 2lp wings also, never got to use it. although thats not that rare now that the lpl was reduced
That's 17 zeroes before 28%
Yeah the lpl on it got reduced a lot
2lp is feasible now
man i was keen to play a 9.5k viable warpath build, rip the dream
Wdym it is
You don't need anywhere near that gear
thats why i wanted to see a shade kill with legit (or achievable) gear to see what the fight looks like
it probably is doable, biman did 10k shade on erasing strike, so why not. still wanna see it though

it's what you have now?
What's your in game name cyrix? Like when you press H at the top of the window
The second planner is doable tbh
It's very doable
Well the exalts would take some time but if you can settle for T7T6 it shouldn't take too long
(obviously double T7 is also doable)
i only did double t7 or t7 and t6 with t5 if its a high LP unique
its really more about the build and how it comes together then about the gear
Yep
no, due to work i play offline. So the character is "fake" in your definition. I can make one with the gear shown in the second planner though and showcase that, if that would put your mind at ease? I am fairly sure it would run 5k+ corruption regardless.
Btw for future reference if you wanna actually post a guide try doing it on an online character. While I and others know that gear of the second planner is doable and stuff. A lot of people don't and will try saying that you cheated the items in if it's offline.
Yeah was about to say ^^
my mind is at ease bro, just weird putting a pic with high c but not the actual build that achieved that
yeah, gotcha. I was trying to push forward that its not about the gear, but i guess people really are in it for the competition. I am not x)
if you want to i can make the same build with way less crazy gear and try to record it again?
Honestly even if most those uniques were at 1lp with 3lp siphon and sword you'd do just fine at very high corruption
Warpath is just solid
i was just curious about the items, i can't do 1000c so idk why u believe someone want to compete or smth lol
most of the dmg is coming from smites too - and we have points left over (take it from the node that increases dmg vs blind targets) and put it into the flat crit node - that immediatly pushes smite past 100% even with next to no gear
i wonder about that honestly. I tried to make an archmage work for high corruption and it just always falls flat :/ neither the damage nor the surviveability are there. I had the same problem with a warlock. great dps but no matter the gear (all t7 etc) I could not make it work.
Eh both mage and acolyte can get up there with that kinda gear honestly. For mage your best bet might be a fundamental criterion mana guide build or frost claw. I'm less sure about acolyte since I don't play it as much, but both warlock and necromancer have pushed into well into the thousands before

Yeah nah meteor will never work out currently
its tri- element nova actually
into doom bolt - from the staff
the meteors are just there due to the belt
Yeah you'll just die
yeah, any projectile i cant dodge and i go poof
Yep
how do mages solve that issue?
You go mana guide or twisted heart basically
that gives me ward - but not mitigation, right? or am i missing something?
Twisted heart is just ward yeah, but a lot of it and you'd wanna go flame ward too which is giga mitigation but not 100% uptime. If you're looking for something as consistent as warpath sentinel it doesn't exist on mage. Warpath is and has been one of the smoothest clearing builds since forever
1k corruption is very achievable though with 5k being possible still on mage
You just can't turn your brain off as much
my one true weakness! 😂
hey whats the new patch looking like for sentinel/voidknight in season 3
do we have more versatility in builds as VK or still same ones, Erasing strike for endgame, void orbs leveling
If I finish the armor today, I'll start leveling my void smite character
I love to read that, when I played 2'
differents VK and they were not ES or DOrb
There is a lot of variety for VK
S3 will change very little for vk imo
They are looking at Necro Lich and Companion from BM
I'd rather play BM than Lich after trying it; it's absolutely terrible
Will have to see after the rework
companion for BM means FG and Pal for us
nothing for vk sadly
or happily
FG and Marksman are companions together
Saw it on Twitch yesterday
Cursedboy maybe
@spring yew sorry for the ping
Have you been playing around Spell DOrb lately? Crit or Dot
Hey Vlad no worries mate. Yes Dev Orb Crit . Planning to have the build guide out by tomorrow.
That's my Character if u wanna take a peak Vlad.
let me know if you have any questions! ill make a video later this weekend with "game-achievable" gear to showcase the way i made it.
Lich basically is all about stygian beams - the coal carries the whole class atm. And its imo not even super duper impressive overall.
Oh, I was talking about the multistrike smite build I planned to play the past few days
oh no. an aurelis build?
Oo
Noice
Will definitely look and watch the guide
got it
Holy mama !!
👀
did they tease any items that would take warpath to the next level
yeah apathy maw long time ago (?
nothing specific that would be great on warpath, but I think primordial exalted items have potential for warpath depending on how one gets them
seems like you can get 6 affixes on one item, and the primordial affix is like T8-9 tiered
so now you could potentially get a hollow blade with primordial attack speed and T6+ melee crit & melee void
but again, depends on how these are actually acquired, which we don't know yet
Make exalted great again?
they also showed that the primordial affix could be a champion affix, so that could be really cool when paired with the void cleave champion affix. Especially if it gives a second extra charge
I hope so. one thing that I really liked about this game when I first started playing was that exalted items had the potential to surpass uniques and legendaries, but that's kind of gone out the window with the increasing power of uniques, the guaranteed 1lp slam, and the ease at which you can farm uniques now
Yeah, power wise, it would actually be balanced if we could "slam" the primal exalted affix, especially if we are limited to 1, like primal unique.
On ES build, should I do less echo dmg and armor shred. or more echo dmg and keep armor shred on gloves for now?
I can remove armor shred on gloves and put attack speed instead
how many shred stacks can you sustain
Just 10 with that idol. Keep armor shred gloves and that armor shred idol too?
yeah you want to hit like 40 or more shred stacks
1 sec
I still need more armor shred. With gloves I only get 30ish
tunklab (its in the pinned things on this channel) as a tool for your armor shred, 40-50 is stacks is what I aim for
30 stacks %more damage boost
Cool, I will check this site out
Thank you

still trying to find descent idols heh
