0.3 mostly means your gonna have to spend a lot more on capping your crit chance
A 1lp slammed with T7 melee void is very strong already (with 0.5 flat crit)
that 0.5% must be priority when looking for world splitter imo. crit chance is hard to cap
it's a difference of 12 base crit if u take the extra nodes for increasing ur cost
just put that one back on then...

but you're right, it is usually Cleric's Hammer that misses points

In other news, ive made maxed out Shield Bash FG, Javalin Pally, Warpath VK, Smite VK, MS FG, Forged weapons FG, as far as sentinel goes. Javalin has felt like the biggest 'nuker' of them all, by a good margin. I love shield bash but its too slow, relying on event horizon.
oh and nova hammers too but I did not like having to switch setups each time i switched between abby and speedruns

With Orian's amulet you don't need void res with that conversion into fire so since your phys res isn't 115 res capped for null portent's 20% DR you could swing these kinds of idols into phys res
^ for more info, if your somehow converting something else into void, you still need void res

Armor shred on the sword is also not great on that build. Armor shred is nice on VK ES but not with judgement. it would be great if you could get a T6 or T5 spell damage roll with your melee atk speed instead. Even fire pen would be better there.

I did a bit when I was playing hc but it was just the standard 1.5k-2k of ward on top of my current hp

Smite isn't a basic attack, it's a spell, it completely negates any downside smite might have
tis a spell basic attack
The scaling drops off of a cliff after 500 and 1k, but there still are benefits for going higher if your build can. But if it slows you down at all you're better off staying at 1k
Right but seems like people are doing 2k because of nemesis
So maybe the new norm is 2k even though the scaling dropped off at 1k just for the nemesis exalts

On my ES build, I also have a crit multi slam on splitter but my gloves have a slam for melee atk spd and mana. I think at least getting a melee atk spd slam somewhere would help. Like if you could swing armor shred onto idols at about 50% per idol for 100% which is enough to ramp it. Alot of people change blessing from 40 crit multi to 100% void dmg when they have crit multi on splitter which makes void dmg on idols not as much of a prio. Then you could run melee atk spd slam on gloves. Since there's no animation cancel when you commit to a bonk with a low melee atk spd your timing has to be pretty insane against boss-level stuff because you have to wait for the atk to finish before being able to move etc.
yeah same, if you have shattered worlds the perma haste zoom i find is almost good enough to compensate for not having a MS roll on boots
How do i get 100% crit chance on my forged weapons? I know i can get t7 crit chance on gloves, and with The phantom grips, assuming perfect rolos, i get 200%increase (from the gloves) +8% crit chance. 100% more from symbols of hope, 5% base crit, thats 13%*4 (base +300% from increased). Thats only 52%
I'd be at 45% ms if the slam misses movement speed

Be interested to see any links or info you have - like I pushed to 2100 on one timeline and comparing that to another at 1500 is about 50% more item rarity for the 2100. But if you're saying there's also some kind of threshold specific to nemesis exalts at 2k+ that'd be interesting to see.

most of my characters playtime was around 720 corruption
I did a lot of towers between 1500 and 2000 while hunting for rings but it didn't seem to affect it
It's subjective though, no spreadsheets here, so I wouldn't know for sure
@waxen nymph @turbid dome has anyone tried a full electrify and DoT build with wing guards? Has that been attempted recently? Was thinking doing that since Alk's smite/ms build we talked about earlier called for the chance to electrify affix on chest and helm.

If it's just generic increased fire it should affect everything

Yeah that's fair, especially since this game has a LOT of loot drops if you're not using a filter. Usually acts 7-8 is around the time you need to at least kinda look at your gear. The act 8 boss is a big wakeup call for a lot of people.

First thing I would say is don't fall into the trap of equipping uniques just because they're shiny.
Unless it gives you something useful, a rare item is often better
Craft yellow gear focus on vit health phys res
Endgame builds will usually be mostly uniques but that's because they can combine stats into them and get best of both worlds
I'd start with figuring out which skill you really wanna use for your damage.
Putting all your eggs in one basket is generally a good place to go, or atleast not skills with different scaling tags (Ie: Hammer throw scales of throwing and dex, whilst your other skills are all melee)
And yeah, unless you find uniques that will specifically good for the skills youre going throughout leveling, its much better to use rares
Uniques simply dont have the base stats often to be useful enough without major synergy, when most of the campaign and leveling essentally just comes down to making sure you have good stats (ur scaling tags, health, and res)

Rive and Erasing strike would be melee damage, attack speed, void damage for erasing strike as your mana spender.

Some of them are decent, like kestrel is usable although I don't think any of your melee skills scale off dex
But yeah ideally replace a lot of those with yellow items that you can put some basic stats on
And don't neglect defenses. Resists are more important the higher level you get.
For rive specifically, put a point in this node, get yourself the highest level 2h weapon you can use, and craft as much flat damage on there (+x melee physical damage, +x melee void damage, etc)
If you happened to get one of these levelling it's VERY good as a starter weapon
Lastly, might just be an import issue but the planner doesnt show youre wearing a relic
And definitely pick your skills and slot supporting stuff. Right now you've kinda got 4 competing skills slotted. If you go Rive/Erasing Strike, pick a movement ability alongside them and then either something like devouring orb for buffs or rebuke for the ability to ignore boss mechanics sometimes.
Can electrify crit? I was under the impression all damage over time ailments could not crit.

Void Knight in general has a 2h weapon fixation
Nothing says you couldn't but a lot of the skills have 2h weapon bonuses and there's also some in the passives

You'd need to either upgrade one with glyph of chaos & hope it rerolls to what you want, or rune of removal and hope it removes the one you don't want.

I probably would since it's not a long-term weapon and you risk making it worse if you try to mess with it. You could upgrade the existing affixes a bit if you want more power right now.

If you have a glyph of despair you could despair the T1 attack speed to make space for melee void
Itās a leveling weapon so it doesnāt really matter but itās good to get used to all the crafting tools

Which funfact: despairing a T1 on a 4 affix item should be 100% guaranteed to seal

Also thereās no local modifiers in the game, so that increase armor applies to all your armor, not just the value on your body armor there

If you find body armor with health (flat or %increased) I would use that over this
Vitality too
If it can have those stats on it yeah, you want like 2k health by the end of the campaign for smooth sailing

Also while you're fine for now because your weapon has big leech on it, World Eater near the start of the void knight tree is huge value at 1.2% leech per point
For comparison, sorcerer gets 0.3% spell leech per point

vit is 6 health per point, 5% is definitely more health. Vit also gives poison & necrotic resist but I think you'd want the health more right now
While vit is very good for a vk, %increased is stronger with these numbers

Notable diffs with maxroll: runs points into anomaly CDR and CDR in passives to have more anomaly uptime since anomaly is such a massive dps increase. Crit multi on splitter, void dmg for blessing (instead of crit multi blessing), armor shred on 2 idols (around 120% total armor shred instead of void dmg for that second affix on idols)..........

That glove slam is pretty nice with T7 melee atk spd and T7 mana - so the atk spd ramping that shred seems pretty effective.

I think the base is ornate idol. You run 2x of them. One with increased echo damage/shred and another with increased echo damage/increased melee void

You run exalted and have one of the prefixes sealed
can just fill in whatever the helmet slot ends up getting slammed
getting a good quad exalted is another whole set of issue š

well not even quad exalted, getting a good 4-affix helmet is already pain
Just farm nemesis and keep imprinting your stuff till you start dropping double T7 or so
Runes of Havoc and Redemption to move around affix tiers and roll for them as well
If they fix the top left imprint, it would be possible to farm the GG helmet for sealed increased armor shred effect
Still think it is bugged and not dropping any item with a sealed affix of the imprinted item

When you get your subclass you open it's tree but you also have other 2 up to half a tree. So, it's still possible to get other skills, but not all of them.

just sucks that i still need 2 points on it for capped crit. if i could just reroll the relic to 5% critical strike chance then i could take those 2 points off and spend it somewhere with lots of damage.
