The only uniques I target are Culnivar's Claim and Aurelis, but you don't need anything. Stacking Attunement is also good for damage. The new Multistrike node let's you focus Smites on a single target now.

You definitely don’t need it. I’ve been playing erasing strike in prep for the update since a month ago and I got my first world splitter at level 93 yesterday (I’m staying deathless for fun) and I’ve been using an odachi with melee void and melee crit since level 60 that still technically provides more dps than my world splitter with t7 melee void.

Nope; those are solved by the void well passive node and having about 300 mana minimum. Get the essence of the end in the ES tree and abyssal juggernaut in the devouring orb tree and you’ll always have enough void essence to reset your mana to 30% simply my critting things and moving around.

I do play pretty safely, but like I said, I’m level 93 deathless at the moment. I can do the harbinger of hatred in about 20 seconds and leech any hits back too fast to worry. Did t4 julra earlier with barely any worries as well.
