I am too. But I had to come to terms with there being 5-6 builds that are all S tier and meta. Some slightly faster at mapping. Some slightly faster at bosses. But all around, they are on a similar power level
And overall, any build can be S+ tier if it's optimized enough, the more meta builds just need less optimization to push

ES is constant big swings and dodging attacks between the swings
If it helps, one of the top 5 people for race to 100 is ES.

Hey y’all, just got to monos on my paladin and getting my hybrid crit/dot javelin build going and wanted to ask a couple questions.
The builds I was originally gonna follow was on Maxropl and was suggesting Sierpins fractal tree unique but I don’t want to have to use it and was trying to look at alternatives. Tu’Rani Bident looks good especially since it is target farmable but I wanted thoughts. Also if not that spear should I consider a 1h spear and shield setup for more tankiness or try to go 2h spear still?

Tu'Rani is pretty desirable because of the insane amount of penetration it gives, I mostly like it because it allows you to use Titan Heart for some decent EHP while still focusing on damage

Although you do get quite a bit of penetration from the Paladin tree + Javelin and Smite skill trees... I've been using a kris dagger and katana sword since I play on softcore exclusively and the crazy amount of crit multi you can get from those weapons scales your damage massively

You can use Rainbow Edge (can get 3 lp easy) and new weaver gift sword. Dual wield. Or shield + crit multi weapon / weavers gift sword.
Defense part of sentinel is amazing and i think that dropping shield for Dual wield swords is possible for javelin paladin - range playstyle, no melee skills.
