having more than just armor as a defensive layer is great
This used on any builds?
My warlock feels like this game is on ez mode literally. Its so broken compared to any sentinel melee build
Good lvling unique for sure!
I'm warpath so its useless for me
like 100 flat melee dmg is great on any build early on
Wouldnt dreamthorn be better with 70 and 40% pen?
but like if your at monos/post campaign a random rare is probably better
a dream thorn is probably better
yeah got one mega cheap, im cruising through monos now
just need to get a decent rare
what you think about buying the axes with 125 melee? Or better just browsing trade for a good one
ideally a random good base with an exalted flat melee void affix
it should be in the faction screen menu
There's a button for your factions menu, I don't remember the default, Y? U? Something like that maybe.
that should absolutely toast enemies at first monolith no?
yeah
thats like 200 flat
you can try to chaos glyph the melee cold into something more useful
nooo i neeed rank 5 haha im like 4 and a bit
gonna go smash some monoliths hope its still there
should be extra fast given the event
2 lvls away from equipping my world splitter that rolled 0.5% crit, 50% mana gain and has +100 melee void + 99 mana / mana regen. Gonna be beast
Should have over 1000 mana then

Having no avcess to leonine helm or citadel boots hurrrrts. I get crit hard. Woven flesh might be an answer
Pre lvl 85
Playing shield Bash build, just got a drop worth showing.
owo nice
hi guys new to the game:
im currently using void knight, and i have a question in specializations
there's a skill branch for resonating cleave, which casts abyssal echoes after using void cleave
do i need to put in abyssal echose in my skill bar to have it leveled up in specializations or doesn't need that?
you don't need it on your bar, same with healing hands if you have the auto use on melee hit or using smite
so the skill levels up as long you use it, even passively (or activates on some effect)?
your specialized skills gain xp whenever you gain xp
OHH got it thanks!

?? As in you slammed a 2lp with those stats?
0.4% crit chance, throw it out anyways
Rrally eant that 0.5 sadly. Annoying how that 1 roll makes or breaks the item. I can deal with a lower mana roll but that BASE crit chance is way too good
unless ur scaling the mana cost the base crit really isn't that crazy
even after % crit rate ur talking about like 8% difference in .4 and .5
I wanted the t7 crit chance and t5 void dmg in
8% base crit. Which is multiplied by crit % rolls. Its big
not true
i said after
a 30 cost mana skill is going to give 15 crit rate or 12 crit rate with a .4
Time to
Engi to the Lightful Arbor. No more void for you
after % that's literally like 8%
on a 2lp i would absolutely balance out crit rate elsewhere and get attack speed even if .4 roll
you fool thats a ruined era area
At 80 cost, 0.5 gives 40% base + 9% from tree is a total of 54%. 0.4 is ok i guess but man. Id rsther get a single 90-100% crit roll on an item and be crit capped
u shouldn't be scaling cost
the only increases mana requirement to go infinite
by a huge margin
way more than finding more crit rolls
Dont we want erasing to coat more?
no
Why?
because it's not needed
you are better to invest into ehop
ehp*
reaching 100% rate even with a .4 is super trivial
So how much crit is needed for 100% uptime on void well ST?
there's a calc u can see depending on ur stats
frozen sentinel has it i think
you can also run things like crit vuln on void cleave
which is huge
crit rate on time bubble
those 2 alone cover like 30-40%
Interesting. I thought increasing cost was good due to the 0.5% more dmg for cost in FG tree and other stuff.
Which is iver 40% multi
if u had a 2lp world splitter i wouldn't care about the distinction between .4 and .5
the gain in 2nd lp way outweighs what you gain from the crit roll
getting attack speed on a world splitter can gain you 40% overall damage, not just crit multi
Reversal gives a good chunk of as
and that's in proportion to your current attack speed in build correct
so if you have 80% attackspeed and add 40% attack speed that's a 50% increase
- most world splitter builds are running super low attack speed outside of buffs and so the 2nd lp and what u can gain is insane
during echos for instance reversal is a stupid poor skill to use
its in an alternate dimension whr there is no Ruined Era but Intact Era, you dont see voidlings there but lightlings. Also the Lightful Arbor
Yrsh it feels bad having 0 mana or hp gain lol
I have always wondered atk spd vs flat dmg
at least in the context of HIT warpath
attack speed is the 2nd most restricitive stat almost always
and just reference ur % overall change
yeah both stats are the hardest to scale, and weapon can get both
so i will always say a 2lp with those will be BIS for vk hit builds
even fully buffed ect im at like, 120% attack speed on my VK
but im at 400% crit multi and 1600% increase
do you actually need atk spd on ES?
oh yeah def
your time to kill will reduce the greatest by doing that
at least on bosses, which is the most relevant imo
I guess with sufficient mana pool that you can just endlessly bonk, atk spd is great
yeah
on paper i don't see how any other stat can compete
like, even in the same galaxy
the amount of crit multi and other damage stats you get in void knight especially doesn't make sense to scale any other big bonk stat, in theory you could make ur echos better by single hitting waves instead of 2 hitting but i don't think that out weighs having better boss consistency
yay
yo I'm leveling a veekay but dunno what endgame build I want yet, anyone got some planners or guides to share? Would be lovely 🙂
the popular build for VK is manastacking ES but I am not the best person to ask for a planner
Nacho, Engi, Vlad can help mebbe
Nemesis slammed 2lp on a shattered chains baby!
sweet, did you egg it it or get lucky 😄
So. I shoukd be taking points out of the +45 cost to ES yeh? Im losing a bunch of dmg multi and crit chance by doing that.
Need help for Erasing Strike build. Option A (Phys dmg %) or Option B (Bleed for timerot)?

isnt ES void dmg?
or you are just asking for leveling
also time rot is not really a big thing for ES build i think.. dot dmg dont help much
and time rot have a max stack of 12
quciker to get 12 stacks
At 12 stacks it gives a huge dmg bonus in the ES tree.
there are probably nodes or passives that can get you chance to time rot pretty easily
I take the +5 timerot stacks on voidcleave too
Nah. Just melee and void. No phys
this is the default scaling tags
Ahhh I got melee and phys mixed
also i am playing warpath so it is pretty fast to stack time rot
The bleed was a missed t7 melee void dmg slam 😦
ooo today i learned
ooo
And thats more dmg which is a multi
Using ES too?
@harsh nova you got a link to your ES build?
Hello, I'm currently playing this build. What do you think about it?? Is there anything better than this?https://www.lastepochtools.com/planner/QbMRzd6A

Does the build do good dmg compared to erasing strike? And ST?
whats up with sentinel getting such good drop gear
Doing fine at 700-800c currently, gear still progressing. It is just another variant of warpath but not very popular
Not many play with Warrior's Fury
A dps reference would be I can kill Julra T4 b4 her second time bomb
An endgame ES can kill her b4 the first time bomb, Nacho did it
well.. my warpath is the ramping dmg and playing with mana style, while ES is the big bonk burst
so its a playstyle preference
whew 2 unexpected red rings today
Do you have any link to your build??
Just a few message up 😆 but here you go #🔱┃sentinel message
thank, im miss this 😉
any loot filter?
no
i have the most disgusting erasing strike chest anyways you don't wanna see 😆
making an erasing strike cost 75 mana makes you need 75+ 60 + 60 + 15 for void cleave +35 for abyssal echos. this is 245 x 3 mana to maintain infinite strikes
and that's assuming you always do 3 strikes between a cleave
so for echos ur really wanting to push into 800-ish
after that you just build hp otherwise ur gonna die to random trash
and 100 mana = 10 crit multi, it's almost the most irrelevant line of stat on a world splitter
void knights are already pushing 400+ crit multi
Im at 865 mana currently with my world splitter on. Need more crit tho im not quite comfortable with the void well uptime
for crit uptime i highly highly recommend at least time bubble crit nodes
cleave can be a little more annoying - but worth for bosses as well
usually what i'm running
this gives 100% uptime on bubble with IAS and crit chance, also the node for +2 seconds when something leaves the bubble is clean
with 150% chance just on that node
Thats solid
so obvisouly depending on ur base rate, this could be 25-30 crit rate in it's own
big fan of 3lp phantom grips for erasing strike also
Just for the implicit?
+2 base crit also
my erasing strike chest btw @digital surge 😆
so the way i balance my build not really gonna be relevant
D.I.S.G.U.S.T.I.N.G!
Everytime I see it
just utter disgusting
yep
the fact that u still have 25 FP, you can still dupe it with creation
i just did actually
was considering rerolling the ranges but decided against
they are on the higher end already
yeah didn't wanna bonk it
only thing worth spending a litte FP is prolly rerolling implicit
yeah the mana
reaching 800 is really hard
chest being one of the biggest rolls you can get
hybrid mana is on helm or body armor
i have a double mana leonine makes it manageable
your chest literally grows hair wearing it
wtf is up with this patch with loot lizards etc
theres no items on sale
theres 20 relics with smite level
globbally
I SAW AND JUST DIDNT WANNA MENTION IT YOU DISGUSTING CREATURE lovely little CHEST BEATING VK
might mess around and list it for 10b one day
Mines a +2 erasing +29% mana. That life roll and 4 ranks tho on yours wtf man lool
🙂
nemesis op
the chest isn't THAT good like i was saying cuz ur losing ur biggest mana rolls
but it looks good 😆
Yeah. 10b gold tho. Thats gold dupe buyers territory tho cos how does snyone make that efficiently enough in a cycle?
it's in legacy
Ah
I still haveto slam the 2lp shattered chains i got. Looking for a t7 hybrid
Ok then. Looking for that. Chance to whiff it obvs
yeah, i managed to get hybrid + increase on mine 😆
but i bricked the next 5 for other builds
so good luck
Ty. Not too qorried as im just waiting for 9th October. D4
i wonder if swaddling of the erased could be better than exalted gloves for my build
also im almost tempted to go COF
cuz the shops are empty asf for sentinels
Facts I love nemisus
engi do you know if i get like 15% melee attack speed and just 15% generic attack speed if its kinda the same
like itll be the same value?
it is the same
oh okay
assuming ur using melee
cuz rn im getting swaddling of the erased cuz i realized its kinda better than just getting 2 good prefixes
which universe are you in bro ?
the good one
How tf did u make this lmao
I can't even find +1 smite relics on marker for under 200k and u got thi!?!
Nacho is a gamer
Its a legacy chest. Who knows lol.
Only way to get T6+ non-experimental seals is nemesis, so the answer is "get lucky"
is from this cycle lol
Is there a mid depth guide from any content creators you guys can recall that goes into a bit more detail once i'm closing in on end game (in monoliths now)
More looking at gearing wise, how to increase DPS (I know a lot of that comes from levels too) and defenses. I know the basics tbf playing a lot of POE and Diablo, cap resses, beef up HP, get a bit of mana regen and then dps focus?
can probably push it pretty far myself tbh
And blessings, of course
Think this is worth pumping some void damage into? that area of effect could be nice for clearing earlier monoliths
cursedone has a lot of data
on how to scale damage, trunklabs i think is the website also
but really it's not complicated, you have different multiplicitive buckets that ur trying to scale as high and as many different buckets as possible. for instance Increase damage and crit multi are two separate buckets that damage gets put through, multiplicitively.
and then you have enemy defenses that you can reduce in various ways to amplify your damage like pen and armor shred
hi i plan on making a hammer build is there any good low lvl filters?:
i dont wana take the time to make one myself atm so hoping some1 just has 1
get heavy'z sentinel loot filter and then just make a rule on top that highlights things with throwing affixes
I still like that node in the FG tree that gives 0.5% more dmg PER mana cost of a skill
Wait does this mean Healing hands can be triggered by Shieldbash? ik it cant warpath cause is a channel skill but I wonder if this also would work on Void skills
Yes and if it's a Melee Void yes
https://www.lastepochtools.com/profile/stebl/character/Scar
anyone able to offer tips on how to progress? i can grind 100c monos, but usually can't kill bosses.
i know i need a better belt + chest for more HP and the leech spell dmg blessing.
just feels like it's going too slow and i'm not progressing
In Smite you need to max Sacrifice
It's super strong
Improved Fire Burst (Holy Aura) should be maxed too
Better than crits? It kept draining my health too much
I guess both. Sacrifice and crits are both effectively multiplicative
You can find Crit multi elsewhere
More Dmg is only in the tree
And for the drain, get some leech
Spell leech blessing from Rahyeh or a Bleeding Heart
@waxen nymph how do i show u here
tbh i was kinda thinking video would be easier but idk how to
also holy crap i just chaosed into %hp
is there a way to copy paste my character into a planner
so u can see real stats
and like im not in empowered monos yet so maybe i shouldnt say its good idk
if your char is online you can look them up here - https://www.lastepochtools.com/profile/
dunno about offline chars
ima have to reopen the game to get the info but ok
Is it off line?
Cause I cant find it with the account name Siduri
I still should be able to see it
oh but i always play online
It doesn't matter
So weird, I can't see this character in your profile
can u see now?
When I clixk on the link it opens fine but I don't see it in the list above, is what I meant
Anyway it seems to be going pretty good!
its surprisingly tanky to
obviously im not in 300 corruption empowered monos
but still
pretty sure it can on warpath but it only triggers once the very first time it hits something
it wont trigger more in the same press/hold
Melee Healing Hands can procc it too
Kinda wanna do a staff/scepter healing hands melee build (cast on strike, not melee node) but I have few ideas past that lol.
Where is it said that channeling skills can’t trigger? 🤔
Is that why everyone grabs that node? Double cast?
Only direct uses can be echoed, not procs
They can trigger it, it's only one trigger per use though - 1 channel = 1 use.
And if a skill is activated by, say, equipment?
That's a proc
everything other than you pressing the button to cast the thing on your bar is a proc
So if I plan smite build it’s useless to pick void knight?
No, you don't need to run echoes, void smite is pretty strong and vk has the best scaling for it
Can I use any two-handed weapon as paladin?
Or are there some upgrades that restrict my options that I would be throwing if I didnt lock myself off some
Do these work same and can trigger limited times per target per "one" warpath?
No, these are "on hit", so it works for every hit you make. The HH proc is differently worded (it says "when you use a melee attack that hits" or something like that).
Thanks. Btw, if I put two swords doesn’t it mean I can proc 6 smites per sec?
someone exp?
Question, how good is the rive+healing hands build this patch? I think im still missing some peices for it to work, just seems like I dont generate enough ward to offset the lower hp, but the time i have consistantly enough +ward with hp to be more than my raw hp usually packs are dead. I go with with <1k hp and <400ish ward and it can be awhile to build up while taking damage, whileif i go non-ward im sitting at 2.5k hp and 300ish ward going in and rarely do I die
No, those % chances are added together, same rate limit
It still works well, it's just very different now. Investing in ward is probably not worthwhile anymore.
So just go for hp/endurance and heal through dmg and whatever ward i get is a bonus?
eh just killed drive, was hoping to get to enjoy the OP version alil, but I had IRL health issues for over past year so had other things i had to focus on. sucks when you miss out on the fun train
just really hate non-ward builds, seems like they hit their ceiling so much easier/quicker. I feel like you can never build non-ward defensives enough to really climb. or if you do it takes forever to kill things
Can forged weapons proc smite or throwing axes?
They say it inherits all off my weapon stats)
If OP is what you find fun, there's a sorc build that can 1-shot Abby right now. Also, there's Falconer.
No, complicated effects like that don't work on minions, not intentionally, it's a technical limit
I’m wavering now.
If I pick vk, I can try to utilize void rift but only through void aegis and warpath(I can though take other skills to upgrade it but not to use them directly). In this case I’m not sure if void rift will be good enough.
On the other hand, I can pick fg and try to build more defensively🤔 there will be autocasted forged weapon and circle of shields
Void rifts are never great, outside of orb they are a little side thing that doesn't really amount to anything
Void rifts are ok with erasing strike to clear the lil dudes around the big guy you slam
assuming your have a lot of vit
Yeah, best case they do a lil bit of clear assist
But shields and weapons without minion buffing passives and affixes won’t be great as well, will they?)
Right, if you don't build into them, they won't do a ton
and they are a big point investment on warpath if you summon them that way
Yep, 5 points
But I can increase warpath range by 100%🤣
Don’t know for what though 🌛
Can someone recommend a fun&good build for sentinels? Any masteries but I want to lightly Push corruption (500-600)
With Planner would be perfect if not ill just figure sth out ^^
Could someone help me understand what i could do to upgrade my build i'm a little bit lost, seems like i lack defense and maybe some ofense https://www.lastepochtools.com/profile/Mhakxym/character/GregoryCharles
i'm a bit lost on which direction to go
Get some better Blessings is what Id do
Im not familiar with void knight builds be the blessings seems weird (wrong ones?) and you can always get higher values
blessings are pretty much the first one i got, i'll begin farming for specific one
They are usually a good way to improve your build while you still get gear to optimize by running the monos
I don't think you can make warpath cost 10 mana, but even if you could, warpath doesn't snapshot (unlike most channeled skills).
How much hp would you say is neccesary at 72 doing first monoliths, on eye of the storm
im at 1500 but being rank 6 i dont have access to all the tier 6 hp items
Thats not a bad ammy at all, if i craft a suffix I cant sell it later can I?
Damn, the forgotten knight set looks pretty strong but its sword, shield and ammy isnt it? Ammy is doing loads of damage with time rot i think
Yes, you can sell it still, the forge doesn't affect its ability to be sold
It seems that set item Forgotten knight amulet is ridiculously strong right now
I'm doing about 2x more damage with it, due to time rot maybe?
ye sets that take up weapon slots are very hard to work with
would need to have some sort of supplimentary scaling like the lightning meteor set
The Amulet itself is pretty strong but I don't have high crit rate to take advantage of other one
Found an LP1 Titan heart, best to add Warpath levels to it?
expecially in the case of the set for forged weapons ... how are you even supposed to use it when your sacrificing the one piece that all your minions are copying for something pretty meh
I always try to slam %increased health onto my 1lp titan hearts, seeing like 70% increased health is fun
but putting your main skill onto it is almost always a great idea
Yeah, I'll try and get either. Think I need to get a new weapon too. But need rank 8 to get really beefed up ones
That's gonna take a bit of grinding
I've noticed my main skill is not levelling anymore, it's 19 but even after clearing like 4 monoliths it's not leveled up...
I think you need to be like level 75 or something to get your skills to lvl 20?
I noticed the auto cast one, em anomaly went to 20. And Warpath and cleave got stuck about 15% through 19
Yeah I had a look but just thought it was taking awfully long! That was all
How potent is fire warpath with smite?
I was thinking of going explody mobs route on smite
Where enemies go boom on death
Quite good
Not good
anyone tried a full judgement aura focused build since it was buffed last patch?
I havent seen anyone, but it should perform roughly the same as before
The added Dmg Effect was buffed but the most important node (the one that consume mana for More Dmg) was nerfed quite hard
Seems ok. I run it with "The Judicator", but at the moment im only at 100 corruption. Kill bosses take some time. Maybe it will get better.
you able to share what you have so far?
Dont know. I mean there is the lastepochtools site, but i dont want to create my build in this tool manually. Is there a way to copy and paste or export and import? Maybe any other way?
char profile at top in "new" then this screen comes up
or alternitively just a screenshot of the currently equiped gear and the skill tree of judgement. ill make my own just wanna see how you went with yours
Its not ready yet. When im lvl 85 i get some helmet and boots to reduce crit damage i take to 0%. So i change the helmet and boots to something else. At the moment i farm blessings. So they are not perfect.

why did you choose titan heart?
Aaw, how come
Probably for the massive hp and the Less Dmg Taken with a 2h
Doesnt do any significant dmg
Its a lot of pts to get to 100%
And it doesnt help you on single target
Because "The Judicator" is a Two handed weapon
Give less damage taken
Oo Not taking Pious Offering ?
No Volatile Reversal ?
is that the reason you're doing a 2h for the damage reduction?
does pious apply to the dot aura?
Yes
i thought the mana consumed was only for initial hit?
No "The Judicator" Buffs Judgement and Javelin and i also use Smite
Nope
ahh so you're not going for pure judgement aura then
Smite gets triggered trhough Javelin for bosses and the Staff triggers it when i farm echos
It doesnt specify Melee or Hit
Its just "Judgement deals more Dmg" so it apply to subskills
I only use Javelin and Judgement. Smite triggers passive
yeah thats fair but i was gonna go judgement gloves and rahyeh shield for the extra points, fire damage etc etc to buff just the judgement aura only other skill that would proc is HH
The only rotation i have is: Javelin -> Judgment. Feels a bit better then using a 3-4 skill rotation
You should take Sacrifice inside Smite, the More Dmg is insane
And applies to Fissure
Oh i didnt know what!!!
Conflagration (More Hits Dmg to Ignited enemies) does not because Fissure is not a Hit
And I feel like you should take Fissure Duration too
Longer Fissures = More Fissures = More Dmg
also if you didnt know they exsisted there is the judgement gloves and the rahyeh shield which gives +judgement levels, fire damage and healing eff. idk if you intended on going 2h/smite like this but they are more options if not
Im not sure, because smite gets triggered very often. So i have always fissures. Would be usefull in echos when the all over the ground. Or does fissures stack?
Also i had mana problems at the start, but now it seems to work. Smite costs mana and the fissures too on trigger
I know that, but i wanted to use the staff, because i was curious about it. And i wanted the smite triggers
yeah thats fair i was just making sure. i wont be going them gloves myself but the shield i will get. unless i get a max cdr affix on those gloves XD
is there any good mana regen items that would synergise well for a judgement aura focused pally?
Its a Spear
generic fire damage doesnt do anything for the aura part of it does it? only damage over time specifically?
Oh yes, you are right, sorry 😄
Fire Dmg apply to everything fire
The Aura is Fire so it works
this game doesnt stop being confusing hahah i assumed it was like minions how generic melee damage doesnt work i thought with the aura being DOT only it needed DOT like ignites or poisons i didnt think fire damage boosted ignite damage
Since you can only have 1 aura at a time you usually dump all your mana and use VR
The aura duration and VR cd are pretty similar
yeah this isnt meant to do well i just wanna see what i can do when i dont do what is best lol
It's because you are not your minions. %Fire Dmg is applied to you. So it works with everything Fire you do.
so DOT and fire damage increase it the same amount like how ele damage and spell damage are essentially the same just different top and bottom rolls?
or the values they can be i mean?
like these both increase the aura damage the exact same?? but id want DOT because it has the higher max roll??
Yes, elemental just covers all elemental dots
Correction
Elemental is both direct elemental and elemental dot damage
what about spell? i assume thats the same so you could double dip in DOT and spell since they both go to 210 or same with fire damage and spell instead of any dot and the aura damage will be the exact same?
If you are gonna scale an elemental dot, use its related affix "Elemental Damge Over Time", highest values.
yeah different values im aware of im just trying to fully figure out if i went something like "spell damage" and "fire damage" it would be the same damage as if i went "fire damage" and "damage over time" since all max values of those are 210% at t7 max roll
yep, if the ability has the tags "FIre", "Spell" and "Damage Over Time" then all 3 would work equally
seems a lil broken with the right setup then since you can double dip XD
there is no dubble dipping though?
fire and spell both can go to 210% where elemental only goes to 158% what i mean is double dip 2 prefixes which you can get higher rolls rather than being locked at one prefix that goes to 210 and 1 at 158 you can have 2 with 210%
im high so just typing lazily mb lol
Well, elemental dot goes way higher still (:
That's not really double dipping is it tho?
its not double dipping, just being able to scale with multiple tags
Yeah
got 400 hours and never noticed this exists haha
like i said im high in my mind its double dipping since i see the aura as DOT lol
It is not available on everything
Double dipping is using a mechanic to gain a greater benefit than intended iirc
IE, wand and staff, but not on IE sword or sceptre
potato potahto 😆
When you stack affixes, that's not double dipping
Does LE have any mechanics that does allow double dipping?
potentially a few builds in the past but got patched dont fully recall but maybe something with warlock when it was released
Imo double dipping getting multiple (at least 2) benefit from the same stat investment.
So like Att on Storm Totems gives you
Flat Dmg + Inc Dmg + Pen + %More Dmg (with Max mana)
And it was on this day last epoch literally killed my gpu 😭
Void knight way too stronk
Don’t holy aura fiery inquisition stacks don’t proc on warpath?
They do
Hey guys, i started as a paladin to play shield bash but i had to realize that skill is not for me, as it can be really boring/slow sometimes. Is there any recommended spell to use besides Hammer Throw? I wanna play something fairly tanky. Thanks for the answers in advance! 🙏
Can divine bolts, if I pick the next passive adding 5 bolts to proc, hit the same enemy 6 times?) Or it should be different ones?
No
Could do Hammer Throw + Smite
could check out smite + warpath
what i meant is, i dont want to play hammer throw again really, so yea.
gotcha
Oh Sorry
probably i used a bad word to say it 😄
Multiple Flavor of Warpath
Erasing Strike
Does it have some limit per a second or can proc 999 times?)
Hi, any idea of good range paladin build? 🙂
This is still the case
Also i found a Consecrated Ground stacker build on LEPlanner, but the items seems pretty hard to get as a casual, any of you tried to play it with lower "investment"?
Is retribution any good?
This ?
Yep
yeah have to rma it
running my old 1660 now ffs
Is there a micro center near you?
nah
thankfully my card is 10 days within warranty expiring
so just send me a new one suckers 😆
medium graphics week i suppose 🤷♂️

Progress on my Abby killer. Erasing Strike
KIlled him a few times with Red Rings too, i.e. no Doom dps boost. Longer fight but a lot more tanky.
Keep going back and forth between applying 12 time rot stacks for the 100% more dmg and just going with more dps nodes in Erasing Strike. When you can maintain the 12 stacks on the boss it's nice but when you're moving around a lot and the stacks drop off it's not as nice.
yeah doom isn't necessary if ur dying, gotta have the hp first
Yeah my only deaths realistically come from me making mistakes
i was comfortable doing aberoth at around 35-3700 hp and then just pushing damage for rive at least
long as u can tank the 3 flail hit rest pretty chill
yeah that's fairly easy tank for my guy now
does Rive do more dps than ES eventually?
sort of? it stuns way easier and makes u have to do less movements
like aberoth big slam u have to run from u can just stun him right out of it with erasing strike
Erasing strike stuns* not rive
rive has really stable dps - and it has no mana cost so it's harder to make it do more
my fastest rive aberoth kill was 2:30
ah nice maybe I should invest in some more stun then, that mechanic with the slam is the only thing that gets me now
something like 200% increased stun seems like a good amount without burdening the build
sweet, will give that a try
iirc there's a solid idol with hp u can get? then the timeline blessing
perfect
something to tinker with
could drop doom belt and go with that %more stun belt then too I suppose
I use healing hands as invuln travel skill
anomaly can self enable 100% uptime
do you get some tankiness with anom?
void cleave much better movement skill because you can autocast abyssal echos
which just gives u the attack speed + blind
so many times though, healing hands saved my ass lol
lots of ways to play - just some things to play with
mainly because where I play I have 200ms ping and the slams are not reliably easy to avoid e.g. harby slams
I've a question, if you spin2win smite, does the teleport also spin you? That said, i assume it keeps the cooldown making it a dead skill, albeit fun on paper.
brb
for void knight this is my preffered set of skills with rive being whatever main skill you want
If you pick teleport node on smite
Triggered smites will not teleport you
How? Does it not specify needing to directly cast abyssal echoes to activate this buff?
that is on the AS node as well
has room for all 5 on bar either way 🤷♂️
Just gotta manually cast it every 5s
i get majority of my armor shred from AE so i'm just spamming it 😆
cleave whatever
the crit multi idol + shred or void damage so nice
Question, blind makes you completely crit immne now right?
yeah but it's not reliable to be ur only source of crit mitigation
echos are going to stomp you
Yeah true, would it be worth layering then bli9nd+ crit avoidance
especially before you have something like a leonine - or if ur build can't run leonine
Leonine?
Ah
if u have one u don't need any crit mit anywhere else
woven flesh or whatever the chest from abomination SUPER easy to get in 2lp also
good early option
Going to properly plan out a spin2win smite paladin this time (yes there are guides) but i enjoy learning by experience kindof
his erasing strike build is running seed of ekid so taking blind for bosses could be extremely good - didn't look at his build in depth tho
I looked at the blinding node in paladin specifically
just chance to blind on hit right?
is mostly good for like hammers cuz u hit a zillion times - not that it isn't useful elsewhere but i'd be looking for frailty before blind because of the other ways we get crit mitigation. mainly leonine being stupid strong
Paladin don't get frailty tho in passives
yeah i wouldn't worry about blind at all and invest points elsewhere
but depends at what point and what gear u have also
end game build probably drop it entirely
Also question on righteous firebrand, it triggers off indirect smites right
Since it doesn't specifically have the direct wording on it
yeah should be fine as long as the thing ur using to proc it says cast
forget all the wordings 😆
It's on spell
cast doesn't mean direct cast just not sure what specifically ur using to proc smite
Warpath
yerp
doesn't stack
Ah
bumblebee?
Really good yeah
Since you want both movement and IAS for warpath
I was thinking ward route even
Let me look the ability up
yeah ur already capping with 1
Am i?
It's 36-45% something chance to cast
Also the Spell per Str is "doubled"
this also a super nice DW weapon
Yeah, that's the other factor i looked at, pvt
Doubling the spell damage from strenght
Still better then attunement 😄
yeah it's just we don't get to double dip on other utility
for instance a sorc builds int and gains 19 different synergies. we build str and get armor
Well, outdated trees, no treshold bonusses
? void smite scales with vitality not strength?
I misread what you said
So dumb question on smite, with warpath would i need area of healing or would base area be fine?
whoops
that node is not related to void smite, also works for fire VK
I misread what nacho said about void smite
problem also comes to that ur scaling ur physical damage and ur spell damage and do neither good enough unless they manage to both hit the same target
compared to scaling ehp
so i just find it wonky to even get to like 4-500c
embrace the pure wizard vk and just get like 200 flat spell dmg from vitality alone
🪗
fine we build it this week
probably take like 3 hours to get the gear 😆
what uniques did you end on for it
ima use omnividence even if its ass
but scorn sceptre + crystal skull is what I was trying out for the base crit
especially given it doesn't need a ton of flat from the weapon
Uhm, Paladin kinda gets a wild skillset
Well, it's probably not the strongest, but like healing hands
Hh super op
Yeah, i'm seeing that
wouldn't be surprised if it gets rebalanced and effects put elsewhere
move the ward stuff to vk, I can be trusted with turning overleech into ward 🙂
😆
Auto-cast on hit and damage scaling off healing effectiveness?
It's bugged btw, you do get the att speed when procced, not sure about the other parts
ngl i always felt like i got it?
Yeah, you do for sure
the speed is the easy one to see, damage requires testing and I didn't test
That makes it rather good then though
yeah
Humming bee is kinda wild for warpath, i'm getting 1000 ward at level 15ish
That said, no way to retain it but
But 7 ward probably falls off hard past campaign
yeah mainly just about the attack speed for free
easy low level option
Yeah, i got it early
Super nice
Gambled a decent +flat fire 1h as well
And got the unique that adds 30% more elemental damage!
Prism wraps
time to farm up these firebrand glove things
No, but that node does come with ignite duration, which is good. Also it looks cool.
So is it still agreed that the best build for smite is hammers and lightning smite?
Also, how much crit is required to get to cap? I'm currently at cap by just taking everything crit on gear too, but don't know how to tell from the character analysis screen. It doesn't say 100% crit
Not really
Pen and Paper to calc your crit (or Excel)
Fire warpath paladin so far has been the most fun version of spin2win i've ever played, and it's shut your brain off mode
Is this node worth taking for a hammerdin build? The guide from maxroll that I am following is suggesting this but I don't understand why
Does attack speed make you throw hammers faster?
Yes it does. Since you are using thrown hammers to proc smite, attack speed for throwing or attack speed is what you want. Cast speed negative or positive does not help or hinder your smite proc
If you're leech, you'll notice a sizeable difference in attack speed allowing you to stand in empire skeleton packs and hammer or if you have to run when your leech isn't fast enough
Is faster throw speed more impactful for my build or both contribute the same way? Meaning 10% throw speed is the same as 10% attack speed
Its all "Increased Attack Speed", so they get added together
Is there any way that I could play Judgement combo with Smite & Spinner?
i hate that being Spinned in the whole map
Dont see why not
Best warparh build i saw didnt constantly channel
And used the increase everything node
Theres a node that increases based on duration channeled
But u cant infinitely channel
Ater losing interested in Warlock, now I try to find something new with Paladin
but only found Spin + Smite, or Judgement
no combo all of them
Id go lightning smite if running pally and really anything else that looks solid for enabling that
Could run a simple gen and spend build with rive ect
i mean, i want to play spin smite, but also want to use Judgement too
Eh
but don't know where to start...
Ur mana use and regen is scuffed for it is the main thing, technically u can make infinite mana with reversal but u gotta be tick perfect to get it back
Warpath builds dont lose mana over time so using judgement is tough cuz ur not really investing into mana to begin with
So without being a pita dunno how u solve mana
Warrior's fury
Superhero Bonking
I'm looking at that node

too many spam
wanna find a build that can use different skills, as the way I play Bladedancer, Runic Invoc & Falcon Shadow
seems hard then...
im really struggling with killing lvl 100 mono bosses + harbringers as a Bonk VK... 2k HP, max resists and 100% crit dmg reduc and i just friggin die to anything
no idea how to actually reach this without sacrificing a tonn of mana
im at 800 mana atm
bonk knight isn't good until you can get a world splitter
generally is a gen and spend spec until then
i have world splitter
it feels so bad compared to warlock...
trying to melee down harbringers who continuously deal massive AoE dmg
do you have flat melee on ur splitter
i added 3 points into making ES cost +45 more and am doing much better now. but it took me a while dodging the black sun harbringers abilities just to whittle him down due to how relentless they are with AoE attacks
i have a 2LP shattered chains and an exalt belt with 26% hp and other stuff. havent slammed yet
I find that the lightless arbor boss is the only one that seems to correctly reward melee play
i can face tank either harbinger until 700c
just stand there and whack em
you can reach a lot more ehp so it's not so perfect to fight them
ends up being pretty chill once u get around that 3500-4k mark
Any recommended weapons for Warpath VK at 74, I'm rank 6 with merchants and about 80k to 7
I see Apathys maw, 1 LP available for as low as 250k, maybe hold out until 7? I'm clearing current stuff OK
Does cleric's wrath from healing hands also work with itself, say i run 3 buff skills, healing hands being one, does it count all three or just two?
Granted
It's not flat damage but multiplir
do echo damage when a skill echoes glyphs exist lol..
got a body i want to use with LP titan heart but the echo damage is tier 1
Having serious mana issues since i put anomaly on auto cast, it gives so much damage though. How can i fix this?
I've not seen many guides go into much detail about it
Just wiped on the big dragon that creates the circles cause i had to stop spinning and got melted
warpath can generate mana if your using a twohander
but really its probably the case of you need to get passive mana regen somehow
Yeah, or maybe just more flat mana. Only got 120
That dragon was a bit of a pain, until i realised I could face tank his AOE with rebuke lol. Its so ridicously OP
Think this is worth putting into my LP1 Titan heart? I cant find any glyphs to upgrade echo damage and its tier 1 but i got it cheap
3/4 is decent there i guess. even armor isnt useless
brother do not say a t1 is good for a slam
but if you hit that T6 increased health it would be juicey
if your are gonna slam that PLEASE craft it up as much as you can first (i see that 7 fp)
I cureently have 0 glyphs to upgrade it

Its quite a nice rolled one too
Could an idea buy a few cheap ones and break them down with skill echo?
Just got 2 for 10k gold and 3000 favour lol
dang
I used all the forging potential on strength though, ruined item lol

Is the Holy Symbol passive in the paladin tree worth messing around with?
So is there some tracker for the event about how we're doing?
Not really
They have posted on social media
We killed like 280 millions of those skeletons
well
I softlocked myself with shield dash going down stairs
it is mildly amusing
something about the stairs geometry did not agree with the games stomach
Fury leap can do the same in certain areas
It is quite funny to be stuck mid animation
Do i have to perma leech hp from enemys with chestplate?
Direct healing to clarify
Such as healing hands heal, smite heal etc
So, to make my point clearer, i can see two forms of health sustain. Heals triggered via smite, healing hands etc, or leech
Yeah, since you've no natural form of health regen
So it's a matter of what fits the toolkit of your class
With my primalist it's super dodgy at times because you see life yo-yo hard
From leech
Yeah, I run double leech rings right now. And my hp recovery is absolutely wild and perfect
Maybe not ideal to run double rings but the guide I'm following recommended it and it's working nicely so far
I'm not even past all the 90 monoliths yet so we'll see how 100s go
You need to clear the 3 90s right, to access to final one then continue?
1st char or alt?
So question for paladin, i see two viable ways to do it. Ward or healing, granted ward is more ability specific.
But is ward paladin doable at higher corr
Have seen zero ward sentinel builds make it past 200c
You can do a hybrid with vessel
Ah yeah
Playing fire paladin. Trying to figure out my last skill specialisation.
I have spin 2 win, the 3 floating orbs that increase damage, the passive damage increase aura ability, the time rewind
But the last one IDK as everything else to my knowledge stops the spin2win so idk
Smite
Why?
I was starting to think healing hands because it can be my movement skill that I lack and can be passively cast
But open to ideas
Smite is sick with spin2win
I'm doing a spin2win paladin with smite, hh and holy aura
Debating 5th skill atm
For traversal you can use unspecced Lunge
HH proccs only on the first hit of Warpath
Oh, so if you spin continually it won't proc multiple times
It's "On Use" not "On Hit"
Channeling Warpath is one Use
Judgement
Sanctified Serenity is 20 flat damage for the consecrated ground right?
Indeed
Yea that seems pretty good if you plan to have it be your main damage source. 🤔
It's basically a free T5 affix on your weapon
hey guys im playing a hammer throw fg build and i was working on my new axe. I figured that t6 increased physical damage would be better than my old t6 crit multi, but my paper damage says otherwise. I already have a lot of crit multi shouldnt raw dmg be better at some point?
That's what I have been doing but now I am level 50 I would just be wasting a spec
Silly question.
By increased phys do you mean flat or %
since I am limited by the number of abilities I can equip
% i can send my 2 imports from lastepochtools if you want
Na I was making sure.
Alright so I assume you're a crit build
Here can you share your character? I want to make sure I'm not crazy

Ugh.
I won't lie to you and tell you I know crit the best but I think it's because your % inc phys is close to your new one that the multiplication from crits isn't able to multiply that number to be higher.
im currently working on my amulet to get more flat throw dmg, do you think it might change afterwards?
If I understand the way to do the math it would come out like this
New weapon: (48x2.76)x5.02=665
Old weapon: (48x2.39)x5.23=599
So from that alone either the tool tip is wrong or I don't know the formula.
But also yea flat is pretty much always good because of how hard it is to get in this game
Smite is imo a great choice
Wether you are doing Spell Warpath or Melee Warpath
For Spell its a lot of Dmg
For Melee it offers a lot of great utility
But like how would I use it
since it has a cast animation and it prevents spin
You can get it auto cast from Spin
Or use a Palarus Sword and get it on Hit
It can even be your Traversal
if you used 48 because of the base dmg from the weapon, hammer throw doesnt take base damage into account
i only take the axe because of the innate crit chance
I think either way it would have the same effect.
I also realize I didn't take anything in the tree into account so my numbers would be way off because 5.23 would be the flat purely based on the weapon+base crit chance
what upgrade is that?
its down left
warpath
Bleed is physical damage, right? So increased physical damage and physical penetration on gear should improve bleed, right?
Correct
First
Then yes you need all 3
Sorry was busy working. I did one 90 and couldn't seem to progress further
Thought so, thanks
Then I can farm empowered?
do all 3 90s and then its empowered time yeah
First timing Sentinel, about to go into HCSSF. Paladin, Forge Guard, or Void Knight?
From what I've seen, Paladin seems to be the meta with some weird healing hands-centered build which I haven't researched at all.
Forge Guard seems cool due to shield usage + summoning weapons that fight for you
Void Knight seems fairly offense-focused, probably uses a 2H weapon, gears easily given all the void-related stuff you get from monoliths
If you go hardcore, I suggest paladin with either the hammer build proccing smite because you can use a shield and potentially get 100% crit and block in end game with high endurance. Or that healing hands with ward thing (haven't tried, just YouTube videos).
yeah for hardcore you def wanna play bleed hammers
ah bleed hammerdin. sounds familiar
steelmage has a 1.1 run iirc
super strong build if he has any info on hc i'd def rec it
lol the build is basically blade vortex. pretty neat
how come this build only uses 1H Axes?
cuz bleed implicit and shield
blocking is like the only defensive layer sentinel gets support for beyond armor
oic mostly for the bleed
was wondering why not like any other 1H, but that makes sense
global bleed chance ❤️
kinda nuts
yeah I just started my playthrough on it and was confused considering hammer throw doesn't explicitly state it can only be used with axes for example.. and also my low level axes don't have bleed implicits yet 😛
appreciate y'all ^-^
throwing attacks are weird overall, theres very few weapons that actually matter beyond like affixes for increased phyiscal dmg , physical pen, bleed chance, for bleed hammers
im thinking of swapping out from erasing strike to another VK build.. have a world splitter and bunch of mana. not sure what to do
early on for the bleed hammerdin build, do I go for the spiral around myself node asap or is that something I worry about later?
asap. you wanna keep moving and having the hammers go with you helps clear
makes sense
kinda neat that it turns into poe's spectral helix first then into blade vortex lol
yeah hammer throw is cool
not really a lot of other mana outlets for vk
dunno what i've done but my damage has been gutted moving from spirits of fire 90 to frost 90.....
Sorry, Age of Winter
I do need an apathys maw, but it wont be that big a difference until i get LP crit chance or something really good on it right?
did you pick an echo that gives the mobs a huge defense boost
check the mods on the map screen
some echo modifiers will do that
heirot seems awkwardly hard on Warpath
he runs away and the AOE left behind wrecks me
should still run mobility skills in warpath
aye got him trapped and was easy
Think getting an Apathys maw with 1 LP and trying to get something good on it is a solid choice entering empowered?
What is better to make smite lightning and grab that 100% crit multiplier from passives or leave fire and use 75% resist penetration, instead of 16% for lightning🤔
if you get a 1lp maw and slam melee void dmg on it that is gonna be unethical levels of flat dmg
got a regular for 10k someone put one up, damage seems decent. I think 90 mobs are just more resistant to damage @turbid dome ?
But yeah gonna try to get a void damage one too
Yes, high level mobs gain damage resistance based on level
can confirm
going from normal monos to empowered for the first time was a huge difficulty spike for me. i had to actually try with my build but even after a lot of work my damage with forge strike/rive is low
takes me a full minute to kill some single rare mobs
FINALLY got my new controller, time to grind
What kinda controller did ya get
Game sir g7 SE
100 corruption scaling jump will do that to a person
it humbled me
unless you have a shield, melee feels horrible in this game.
That or big es world splitter perma bonk
Tho can we really call a screen wide attack melee
i was going to do a dual wield bleed rogue as my next build
still feels bad compared to a caster / ranged class or melee with shield. So much Boss AoE and anti melee mechanics in the game. Warlock was 1000 x easier than this. 2k hp with max resists and 45% armor reduc and its a 1-2 shot in most cases at base lvl empowered monos on bosses
having to have near perfect gear BEFORE climbing through monos is not the answer either
I want to like rogue, but it just feels so eh to play to me
mad alchs, cinder song or firestarters torch for a judgement aura only build? unless something else ive not mentioned would be better (going 1h only)
literally any high spelldmg wand
When you activate holy aura does it double only the implicit stat bonuses or does it affect all bonuses you receive from its tree?
all iirc
what is the best void knight build for high corruption and whats for speedfarming?
1-2 shotting bosses is just playing unbalanced builds so now u are actually playing the game
Switching from a powerful ranged mastery to a weak melee mastery be like that
All
cause
finds it funny and punishes up for abusing time magic so much
and then drop a better 3LP after you successfully slam
such is life...
hope you like temporal sanctum

is this a highly-demanded affix?
Uhhh
It saves points on time and faith but also makes you need to hit something
So imo not really, unless your triggering so much stuff off of rive you need more than the mana from time and faith
Sadly a lot of sentinel affixes end up kinda mid
Like the convert incoming dmg to phys is awesome until you realize you have 4 very valuable slots for that
That compete with skill level affixes and just higher rolls on generic/good affixes
And also that you can’t really get convert a portion of everything to phys so why use a valuable affix slot on something that only occurs some of the time
affix priority gaming
Like it’s a strong effect, but only converting a small portion of the dmg fails hard
Unlike in poe where armor is worse against big physical hits so converting even a portion of phys to something else helps a lot
It used to be a more valuable effect before they changed how armor works, iirc armor didn't affect non-phys at all.
or it was much lower effect, idk
@cobalt blade for context if you want max dr against a phys hit in poe, you need 45 times the armor as the damage of the hit, or use something that gives direct physica damage reduction
so for a 1k dmg phys hit we need 45k armor
if we convert 30% of that to fire we take 700 phys dmg so we need 31500 armor ( a lot easier to get)
Whereas in last epoch if we convert 30% of a fire hit to physical, our armor is affects it at better effectiveness (70% effectiveness to 100% effectiveness)... but this only applies to that 30%. So is it worth spending a competitive affix slot on making 30% of a single dmg type go from 54% armor DR to 77% armor dr? (assuming about 10k armor)
I wish it was more like raise your armor effectiveness against all dmg
One other use case I thought wasn't too bad, is for poison damage taken as phys. Mainly because I rarely bother capping poison res, so then it gets the benefit of being affected by the max res of phys and also can't be shredded by poison itself. (Also, it gets the slight armor effect bonus based on % of armor applied to DOT)
I need help, should I keep playing my Ignite Forge Guard or start my VK SpellCaster ?
How far are you on ignite FG?
true, vs poison stacks is probably the best use case for it rn
Just reach Empowered
hmm sounds like a good time to start a new VK

Altoholics Anonymous
did someone say wizard vk
So I was like, caster VK with voidwinter, lets go. Turns out, the spell must literally have both cold and void tag in order to get the spell damage from melee damage
I might have
No
Sound like a bug
It is only supposed to need one
The only spell that has both tags is the one it procs itself
Yeah, voidwinter bolts shutgun and pierce though. I am pretty sure it would be broken if it did work on just void
It would not be broken, it's kinda just like wielding a staff
