Separate from that, it was not a bug with ungodly amounts of ward, what used to be 40-50k or even millions, I canāt really get past 10k in my highest bursts
I mean, end game changes take time, and I would rather see masteries and skills get an overhaul before monos
they need to give that to arena of champions, and leave endless arena without too much rewards, but still add some, for example one random mono reward every 15 waves would be nice
Putting nemesis in arena would be a good start (after u clear it at the rate of avg mono rate)

well the best way is stack 7k+ hp and use twisted heart but the only good build that can do is electify HH/smite which lacks damage,
low life affix HH still works and can get 7k ward, ethical ward nodes(synthesis of light) are still bugged and dont do anything, unless they stealth fixed them recently.
But overall ward is just worse than stacking 7-8k hp imo

I think shield throws utility is often overlooked for its dmg (and then compared to other dps it falls hard) but, giving x armor bounce, giving x health on bounce, stealing x armor on bounce

Stealing armor is good, but Iād rather get some increased armor shred effect and just shred their armor. Sentinel doesnāt struggle with getting a lot of armor so the steal part (while cool) isnāt terribly useful

@winter copper ok warpath used to count as direct attack crits for the purpose of reens ire, it doesnāt seem to anymore, so back to the drawing board.

I dont think its worth it to lock your build into weapon + shield and a skill specialization for -50 armor, a defense boost (your own armor) and some healing when armor shred covers the first, sentinel doesn't struggle with high armor in the first place and healing hands exists.
If your already speced into throwing and not using shield throw for damage 100% go for it as a more supportive skill

most enemies have 0 armor, so shred or yoinking their armor just puts them negative instantly
on trunklab set it to shred to look at the damage bonus for it
armor yoinking is half of it per stack so I guess cut the ratio in half? thats probably not how armor worths

The only real benefit of stealing armor is you get extra armor from it, its value is really low compared to armor shred which you can stack up to the point of serious diminishing returns pretty easily

Hi folks, I've just tryind shield rush build from maxroll, and feels like completely bugged talent which should teleport character back to rush start point. Instead character is stack in place in movement animation and unable to move. Is this only me or it is common problem?

Yeah, but that's kinda the whole point of the build - to spam the skill for max dot application.
you can spam it with interval of 0.24 sec without being stuck, which is enough, but ye its a bugged skill

In my case talent which allows to cast hammer mana cost free was not working with negative mana.
How they fix
Apparently all the "free when out of mana" effects were bugged, including hammer throw's. Should all be fixed now though.

umm you just need to add 2 numbers: str and block chance from your char sheet

hey guys, bear with me, brand new player here. level 58, been pretty much cruising through the game so far, only died here and there to random stuff because of not dodging stuff due to rubberbanding and skill issuing. i didnt really struggle with any enemies or bosses until i got to the last one before you start the echoes, died to that one maybe 5-10 times. now im on my 4th echo and getting killed almost immediately just from the number of enemies. now that i cant rely on avoiding damage by just dodging, i want to tweak my build. is it okay if i post a link to my build on last epoch tools, and some people can tell me how i can easily tweak it to survive better?

Traversal skill is useful for getting out of sticky situations. Recommend shield charge over lunge

Lunge works when you get paranoia, may misremember or spell l, nit at my PC for le tools

I'd say sacrifice one of your active skills to spec Shield Charge in for the time being until you get better survivability gear, remove SHield Charge once you're comfortable with your survivability. My last VK had Abyssal Echoes cast on Void Cleave so that freed up a slot for an unspecialized Lunge/Shield Charge
In my experience Reversal gets a bit janky as an escape tool
Edit: Kestrel felt very greedy to use on my Throwing Rogue getting clipped usually meant death. Recommend weighing pros and cons of having +1 to dex skills vs a good purple if you're using Kest for just the +1 skill level

Both have AOE, VK has Void Cleave, Erasing Strike, same access to Sent AOE Lunge and Shield Charge, Paladin has whatsaitconsecrate but leans more on Sent stuff for AOE(hammers, Jav)

They are always 1 or 2% off , i trashed a lot of them ...
i think the tooltip also calcualtes it with Timerot and Doom in it and also how many times you can cast it per second
FG minion build is legit š the weapons are a lot stronger and manifest armour is a beast now, his whirlwind is amazing when you really build into it, and the new minion ring just makes the forged weapons so good
Some tooltips are weird where they will calculate the dot dps as well, and some wonāt, but I believe ES does

Well you would have to play a complete other build or dont use the Phantomgrasps at all since they get All the stats from all your equip slots and not just the Gloves .
i still need to do more tests since i believe Manifest Armor can also be the cause of the Bug since it has " Transfer Stats to Minion " by itself

Hard to say just how average they are considering none of the people writing build guides know about the bug. Maxroll doesn't even have a guide for forged weapons, only considers them good for leveling
I was tempted to make a guide with him once I slammed my Logiās but Iām not gonna make a build based around a big bug like that so I gotta change him up a bit haha
Warpath Void Version with a Dreamthorn and Darkstrides are better for leveling imo
Guides are missing about 3x the tankiness on the weapons, tons on self, and about 200% crit dmg, overcapped by about 100% crit chance
Crit chance because 50 Str+
And not focused on the right affixes on the right slots, half their passive don't work on the weapons
whoever made that craproll guide needs to be spanked
The closest guide I saw to good on last epoch tools ran an exalted weapon with flat/flat/minion flat/minion flat since it at least had 2 rings (many don't) and wasn't overcapped on crit. No one just bothered to ask "huh why am I always critting at level 60?"
Double Flat Minion is doing more than some %damages , Crit is more constant damage but has lower Min and Max Damage
You just can't get flat anywhere else whereas the crit multi from am/relic/uniques is doubled
Im working on a Spreadsheet to see what combinations are the actual most useful ones damage wise

Sadly, jav and smite just generally don't scale with almost anything similar, electrify and bleed are the primary options. They don't even share any attribute scaling

Inc DOT works fine, too, lightning is just nicer since it'll scale your hits somewhat, which don't deal totally 0 damage
oh yeah, crit won't help at all for electrify, but if you really want to use that passive you'll have to go hit-based instead

Sure yeah, there are some 'more' multipliers outside of skills, that's just the typical place to get them. Duration is also a big factor, very hard to get poison duration.

Bleed is doable, unlikely any other ailments. Though ignite did get a slight buff, still looks way behind bleed based on a quick glance.

Yeah, that's the MA bleed build for sure. Sentinel has such good bleed scaling on its gear, and MA has that node for 150% more bleed damage

Electrify jav + smite was a fun build. There have been a few changes since I played it (smite idol changes, HH, and palarus), but I'm sure some variation of electrify is viable between jav, smite, multistrike, and HH.
Like you might be able to do a direct cast smite + HH with palarus nowadays
Maybe palarus + aurelis + HH multismite is more bearable

wait you found a way to use 2 red rings? the main issue i had with 2 rr is that no matter what i couldnt find a way to sustain mana with them, you need sigil ring to have mana and all sigils uptime
the shield makes sigils impossible to self cast on top of heavy mana cost of bash itself
but ye my setup doesnt have 2 rr and rav void but has 20% dr from body armor 1 red ring and vengeance, plus sent relic/15% armor to dots from passives and another 32% from gloves, so 78% armor to dots in total
Dbl RR wonāt work for bosses but should be fine for arena. I somehow managed to get 2 t7 STR red rings and only 1 3lp orians that failed. So im inclined to use dbl RR.

Maybe your dropping below 50 at times when they need to cast and it resets another 10 seconds
I dunno it doesn't seem off, if I'm parked stationary doing nothing the ring is recasting but my 4/4 sigil definitely seems effed up in combat where I usually sustain despite mana expenditures/recovery
I think the behavior of the ring changed from pausing the 10 second countdown to recast if mana cost wasn't above 50% to skipping the recast if the half mana requirement isn't met

by crit mitigation you mean 'Reduced Bonus Damage Taken From Critical Strikes'?
There are two flavors, that reduced bonus damage from crits and crit avoidance. You can do either, they effectively do the same thing at 100%. Never do less than 100% crit avoid, but reduced extra crit you are fine just getting a goodd amount. Grab whichever is easier for your build.

They are identical if you have either at 100%, and if you have 100% crit avoid then the reduced extra does absolutely nothing. Only technical difference at 100% is crit avoid makes you immune to crits, while reduced extra means you still count as being crit (only matters for fiery dragon boots currently).
As a Paladin crit avoid is quite easy
Passive + Reign of Dragon blessing and you should be capped iirc
Yeah, and any sentinel build that doesn't need a particular helm can use leonine one for like 85% reduced extra, which is already enough on its own generally

It's time for me to take the biggest freaking two-handed weapon I can get and crack demonskulls open using brute force alone.
Now I already have a Paladin and I don't wanna start another, so what I want to know from you is what would be the better alternative of the other two masteries based on what I just wrote, Void Knight or Forge Guard?
It has to be something that works fairly well with a two-handed weapon. I don't care if it's suboptimal in comparison to one-hander + shield or dual wielding. I like the idƩa of one massive weapon and smashing the monsters with big damage numbers.
TL;DR Best mastery for using a two handed weapon build, Void Knight or Forge Guard?

I want so bad for Erasing Strike to be this gigabomb on bosses but it just doesnt quite do it. Or i want so bad for Ravaging Aura + DoT's to be a thing but constantly having to void cleave to keep it up is a nuisance. Same with Devouring Orb

Rav aura might be viable this cycle, I haven't pushed it too much because I'm lazy on gearing it, but it works as a "full" spell void DOT kind of thing

Yeah, I leveled using VC traversal + ES, such a great combo
lol its so fun, but the synergy of that combo on bosses sucks so badly unfortunately
I really wish we could use VC as a traversal still with that sceptre on, it's just the best feeling traversal in game
right now im using Numlock trick to keep Dev Orb up. its fun but still what im doing now sucks for bossing. hope the gear im working towards, as well as leveling, helps with it

The way mine ends up, you can numlock warpath, but you still lunge and manually pop VC or VR
and I guess you could manually do AE, too, if you wanted

I'm level 22 with my Void Knight atm and I'm using Erasing Strike and Void Cleave for damage. I hit like a truck but I have to wait for Erasing Strike and Void Cleave to come off cooldown, which feels very slow and is a bit irritating.
I cannot find any other damage ability that uses the element "Void", and I was just wondering if it's supposed to be this way or am I missing something here? Perhaps a skill point in either of the two Void damage abilities that I can't see no matter how hard I look? š¦

i probably think its normal, lvl 22 its kinda early so your build wont feel good until maybe lvl 50 60
i never played erasing strike so i dont know how it work to make the cd faster or something like it

Shield bash needs insane late game gear to start doing damage. Iād say check out maxroll guides for a better idea of something with less investment.

Bleed forge weapons worked alright in my tests. Can kill Abby just fine but might suffer with survivability if you can't get the right lp gear. Hard to reach block chance cap with flayer's pride, and sword catcher has some issues as well since u need abyssal echoes to consume the bleed when mobbing. But perma haste + super frenzy is cool

it feels like it takes less investment tbh... cuz the items you gotta farm for solid ES build is insane some of them are really really rare, and most have to be LP2 or you dont get much out of it

thats the main reason i guess and the way erasing strike locks you in the animation, and with the thought that youre supposed to be spamming erasing strike, it makes it feel weird in my opinion often being in a really bad situation where you get locked in the animation only to get oneshot offscreen cuz you couldnt move

Playing a Void Knight and having trouble with survivability. My resists are maxed out (necrotic is 2% short) have 5k armor and 2k health but getting pasted now that I've hit the level 100 content. What do other VK's use for defense? I have a tendancy to pick classes that die a lot so it could also just be me š

for example, people that have a REALLY REALLY huge gear, have numbers near 11K/12K
i have a very decent gears ( lack a bit of hp i have 2900 ), and my effective health pool is 8200 and i'm at corru 600+, so focus on hp and crit avoidance OR reducing crit damage

Technically it applies twice, just not the way you want it to. They only get their damage increased by you wearing the gloves. Applying minion damage to them with phantom grip gives them "minion damage" which is a dead stat for them as they don't summon any minions.

You stack mana and get 100% crit chance on erasing strike and the 100% chance to get a void essence on critical hit
Then use the void well passive to set your mana to 30% of your pool when you hit negative mana.
Since your stacking mana 30% should be enough for 3 more erasing strikes to keep bonking
