Do you all prefer Rive or Multistrike for generating Forged Weapons? I'm testing out Rive now and it doesnt seem efficient as it requires the enemy to die for a chance at forged weapon, while muktistrike seems to be able to create them more on demand. Thoughts?

is there a mechanic that makes it faster to stack corruption on other monos apart from the needles?`as in if i get 300 corruption on one timeline, will it be faster to stack on the others, or same?
There is a catchup mechanic that makes timelines gain corruption faster if they are far below the one with the highest corruption.

The brave the elements node basically makes you immune to Lagon (or if that’s not the name, the one that makes you take less ele dmg while channeling)

Erasing Strike is a nuclear void weapon... it's built to hit very hard, but slowly. Divine Bolt on the other hand is bazillion small bolts going around

It's also just how VK operates. You use your melee abilities manually more, but you're constantly triggering spell effects.

I found the bug : If you have Homeward and Unbroken Prayer the spell is completly bugged and don't work but if you don't take the Homeward it work fine

yep, the bigger the stun the longer it will last, it's why having some stun avoid is good because it can lessen the time you spend drooling on yourself

I really hate that idol slots are generally best used as use a ton of small ones for life unless you need this one specific thing
the sentinel grand idol for warpath area is fun, prolly would be better as health technically though

We do have defenses though, the issue I feel is that players think you should be able to face tank everything and not pay attention

it goes back to the same thing, more baseline defenses leaves room for moving stuff around
FG also has less damage taken, sent has a -10% baseline cooked in, like we are not hurting for defenses

Numbers can absolutely lie because things have to be taken in context of a situation. there is a big difference between baseline and aspirational contents damage and the need to mitigate it. I think the issue with Sents defenses aren't how much it gets but how conditional they are.
our context is that we are -mostly- melee, and have half the EHP of pure ranged blaster classes so that's just makes the disparity even more glaring

That is an issue with melee vs caster, and a lot of that is because of how much ground targeted BS is in the game. Heck look how many things explode for damage and then leave a dot on the ground that shreds resist.

Evade baseline movement needs to be a little faster and the distance a little longer if it's not gonna invuln. Most things you're well within the range of still
endurance would help too, its not really worth when we can only increase it by flat amounts

if endurance is proposed to be the alternative of ward it needs to have some interaction with HP scaling outside of threshold. like the higher your max HP more of your endurance applies generally or someth8ing like that
I think percentage endurance could be the activation threshold, and then endurance threshold could work like block effectiveness.

You don't have to tryhard, you can still breeze through it. Try using a build guide next time to help you make a class.
Literally every single class alternates between S/A/B unless you're Primalist, they're still weak but also have some strong builds.
Only outlier right now is Glacier sorc, it's broken and can do everything in the game at insane speeds with a lot of safety.

If you mean Guardian's Zeal it's because the bleed build doesn't rely on critical strikes at all, it relies on stacking insane bleed amounts via multihit hammers.
Hammers become VERY expensive when specced in to both spiral and orbit, so Ballista's -6 mana cost plus -cost from rings help a ton.
without ballista + two -3/-4 rings, hammers would cost something like 18 mana a throw and become completely unviable

well, I made a hammerdin that I've played several times in d2 and 1-2 other Arpgs, was easy early, rough start of empowereds and now its wrecking faces with pretty Meh gear.... bazaar 7/10 corruption 200+ items are PRICEY lol have a feeling there's a couple of upgrades I could get but they'll cost around 500k a piece and still have to roll em
VK void cleave with Abyssal, Volatile Reversal and general passives was a super-stellar tank tho, mapping pretty quick and felt safe everywhere, everytime overall with Good dmg and tank-scaling

I gave up at 275c with basically just apathys maw falcon fists and two rings, the minions are extremely frustrating and the ramp up is excruciating on bosses if you let them die or they kill themselves to aoe

Personally I would avoid taking any prophecies that had (kill a specific enemy type) too much rng involved
I don't know about end game but I used it for leveling and it was ohko most bosses to their new ward stages but swapped at 65

different perks I suppose. and void cleave leans more towards void damage builds I guess. Especially with the abysal echoes specced into it
I love the distance traveled on void cleave though. plus if using a 2h no need to spec extra into it to be able to use

I got a 68 fp 2h axe, without using any hopes, ripped off all 4 affixes, and then bumped up all 4 of my choosing to 5, and still had fp left over
Nemesis system def getting nerfed after this cycle, but if they keep it, even at half its current value, it'd still be super duper lovely

For instance, you can make an entire build centered on abyssal echoes
as a healer
Initially i did one as a support before HH existed, and quickly found out that its actually absolutely disgusting and allows you to sit in every single boss mechanic in the game and face tank it all
Since abyssal echoes initial pulse does fire damage that also ignited and ALSO heals all allies in the area, theres another node that casts it 2 additional times for you, and you literally just get fat mana for more casts, cast speed, and VR. You just sit there and spam abyssal echoes till 0 mana then VR all your mana back and do it again
Its a build that allows you to straight up sit in a bosses face, take all of their hits to the face, and just spam abyssal echoes to heal yourself for 5000+ a second
And because its many pulses of abyssal echoes pulsing every 10th of a second, no enemies can weave in a fat nuke inbetween pulses, so its more like 500 healing every 10th of a second
Its 100% a bossing build though, or arena, cant farm with it
Its fantastic if you have friends that get up to a boss in mono and then invite you in to tank it
MG is so broken with nemesis drops, so many people selling crazy exalted items, t6 + t7 on the same item, stuff with sealed exalted affixes, even double tier 7s

I honestly have zero difficulty farming T7's even as CoF, but with the addition of MG, and my love for build theorycrafting on LETools, i can bring pretty much bring any of the builds i make to fruition in as little as 20 hours, compared to 50+ hours pre-launch when MG didnt exist

Had a buddy copy my jaspers searing pride rive/hh build, and got up to nearly 2000 with it, but he was also MG, and could easily supply the build
I lucked out on finding a 3lp jaspers in CoF
And slammed it perfectly, he bought like 3 of em till he slammed it perfectly
this is a disaster
Jasper's is a pretty neat weapon. I'll try to build with it someday. I was trying to avoid healing hands last season with the ward mechanic.

Jaspers rive works so well the way it does because of slamming T5-7 ele dot on the staff, which has a disgustingly high roll, and Rives Foe Cleaver doubling that super high roll, then because jaspers has a stacking melee fire and melee ignite chance that lasts 16s, and Laceration is a dot that scales off melee and dot damage, it super buffs the laceration on rive
So on bossing theres an inital loadup time to getting there, but like 5s in the boss just immediately eats sh*t
Yeah, I want to try the same but with that frostbite spear. Especially now that frostbite has higher dmg
ok but this uber bird is being the hardest boss in the game with the rng bug
And thanks to rogues Falcon Fists gloves, we can easily pickup additional melee fire and attack speed for a staff build, and the gloves can get 4lp fairly easily
Oh ive done that once before, its actually really strong. Though my mordita's had T7 armor shred slammed on it because i was running it on a spellblade with the runemaster talent that turns armor shred into frostbite chance for spells, and then having melee's autocast frost claws for me
Which btw, though sets are widely disliked, shattered lance sentinel, primalist, and mage are all still very lovely
Especially primalist, you can get up to 5000+ health regen on a shattered lance werebear now

Werebears can, they changed a couple talents and now werebears can get stupidly high health regen

A few pieces of sets are strong on their own like the armor belt and vk amulet, and then some full sets are build defining like shattered lance, but yea most are complete trash
I never use Reversal. It is a very powerful skill, but I personally don't like the playstyle it entails and prefer to use other buff abilities like Sigils.

Yes, shattered lance werebear can push 1000+ extremely easily, mainly just cause its werebear, but with the recent changes i can see it pushing well into 3000+
i think im hardstuck because of this, it casts the phases before the animation 😭
Interesting. What makes it do that? The Werebear builds I've seen are usually rated very low for corruption pushing.
On paper the Lance items seem extremely underwhelming
because people dont take the time to mess around and try new things
You'll see maybe 10-20 builds online that push extremely highly, and then you'll have like 50 more builds that push just as high if not higher that people (like me) just can't be a*sed to make a build guide for

Yeah, that's fair. Only Werebear ones I've seen are Aftershock and ... swipe? I don't remember the second one, and they were rated really badly for anything not single target.

Aftershock is absolutely nuts if you play a beastmaster, because aftershock can scale off both melee and dot, shark bm's can get their melee % and dot % to both be 3000%+ and if we factor in the new event horizon, it massively jumps that number
I enjoy slapping on as much cdr as i can and playing leap bear, with fury leap and upheaval + roots if you want. That and leap gets invuln during leap and you can get it down to like a 1s cd so you're just constantly invuln
That setup can also build shattered lance

So i'm playing a VK, level 92 right now. Got some decent 'starter' end-game gear. But I really lack survivability. Any tips? I only have 2k HP and am very squishy. Deal enough damage for now I think.
Need to improve armor and life. Good bases on gear + titan's heart since you're a two-hander by the look of things
