Well I don't use the jewel but yeah I'll be making it like that
Just because it's worth like 400d or something
Well mainly if another build can use it, being influenced just ups the value for you whenever you're done playing
I'm guessing like Warlord + Elder?
(not home can't look)
I used to like D3, then I've tried PoE 1&2, Last Epoch, Diablo 4 and realised that it wasn't that good
But I do have a soft spot for its classes and skill runes system
Oh yea I mean it's very dated and was all but abandoned
tbf most of my issues boil down to being abandoned
But can't lie I enjoy D3 more than LE and PoE2 still
endgame sucked variety wise, and set items made builds boring
And d4 until (and hopefully D4 LoH)
but I did enjoy it back in the day
Many of the things they brought to D4 were directly from d3 lol
Bounties, rifts, even echoing nightmares
Artificer's Pit
I could actually just ensure I get Elder to match with my weapon, and swap one of my large clusters for a 3p Voices and fit in the 15% HP elder item Bound
I hate it, I did too many god damn rifts in D3 to enjoy the pit
Just different names
And Belial has the same boss fight
Idk I enjoy rifts in D3 more than I do D4 or grim dawn
Lol
Blizzard can you stop reusing the god damn belial boss fight !?
They used it in god damn Starcraft 2 HOTS lmao
Did they reuse belial from d3?
Heh lol
thankfully there are two variations of Belial, and the other one is different
closer to phase 1 of Belial fight in D3 except yk, fun not boring interlude
Damn just checked and aside from his looks it's basically same xD
Then again I never looked at him properly in d3
that's actually the least of my problems with Belial
And kudos to D4 team, I like that Azmodan is gigantic
not w/e it was in D3
Oh Azmo is also in d4? Lol
ye, at least like two seasons ago they've added hunting Belial, Azmodan, Andariel and Duriel for rewards
and upgrading their sigils for extra bonuses and loot
tbh it's Blizzard's fault I hate Lagon fight in LE the most. Because it reminds me of Belial fight. It used to be my fav boss in D3, but it started feeling so overused to me
Kitava for me
GDI you are right
Kitava is another Belial variation, so that's why I got sick of it
Oh yea I guess Kitava was after Billy huh
I tend to forget that lol
3.0 came out in 2017 or something right?
unsure
Either way it was waay after d3 lol
but I'm really sick of "big boss you fight in a tight semicircular arena"
yeahh
How I hate that fight in that small arena...
Minions = stand at stairs and only avoid big aoe lol
I forgot about minions deciding to spectate the fight
It was so painful
idk why LE did not click for me this season, might be just aRPG fatigue
For me I thought the expansion had released and upon realisation I just quit lol
lol
but I think all the jumping from PoE2 to D4, then some Inquisitor Martyr did that to me
Good thing I skip poe2 and d4 lol
I don't think I'm going to play poe2 for a while
Apparently 2 friends of mine might play PoE next league
One played it back in like
2021? and don't think the other one has played it
A friend of mine is also looking into it
The first guy (who did play poe earlier) played HC as his first time, blind and got to like 92
Meanwhile me giving up before I even reached to the prison lol
Few days to go
Yeah this friend is looking into it cuz all their games in rotation are competitive shooters and they need a drastic change of pace and happened to know I'm a big fan
Yeah that's quite a big change
mirage has been peak PoE. hadn't played in a year and had a slow start but it's been great.
dumped about 1400 div into an AG build and seeing how deep I can delve now.
12 link AG + perma soul eater / headhunter
Where poison immunity
I'm playing the same build lol
smh my head, quin dps
Mine is even lower xdd
I know angels don't come back (aside from the traitor one) but I hope they bring back Malthael in d4
I'm working on it ok đ debating on an adorned setup but not sure if I wanna drop another 500 div
Yeah it's an expensive build if you wanna play it to its full capacity
I think my char is probably worth ~2.5m by this point
Might be more idk
But I learnt that Dissolution is a terrible idea if you don't go Chaos bloodline for Blood Barrier
The character will randomly get deleted in high density content without it
yea I'm blood barrierd, works good, only degens can cause damage. at like 18.5k life, adorned would put me over 20k and cap res at 90
complicated ass build, took me about a week to get it comfortably working with 8 corrupted items
I started out with Mageblood and no corrupts
but then I realized what happens if you use Disso
so I quickly got the corrupted gear in place
and once that was setup, it was solid. I need to get VERY unlucky to die now
still happens, but incredibly rare
but tbh you could get an 87% adorned + its jewels set up in less than that if you're willing to self craft the jewels
it's tedious but very doable. I made my CB immune jewel and maim immune jewel myself, and 1 more normal one too
I already got 7/2 cb immune magic gem, I don't mind paying for 98-99 adorned I just haven't had a reason
there's no point going for 98-99
I don't die and everything else does
quin build would have even lower
and he'd say it's ramping
Quin is a disease
I will say, my soul eater max stacked juiced up AG 1V1'ing a soul eater juiced rare is entertaining to sit and spectate
it's funny when AG steals soul eater
much less funny when he steals the flee mod
because that bricks his AI

giga annoying, they really should fix that
do you not have soul eater setup? with auto corrupting fever + transfusion?
mine has soul eater perma
Ofc I do
But the stolen soul eater is funnier
Lasers shooting out everywhere
dude the flee mod kills me I hate that shit
It hasn't killed me but the fact that you literally need to either log out or change zones to get rid of that is incredibly stupid
It did brick one of my ultis once
I'm delving and haven't seen it in there yet, at 500 depth and comfy, gonna shoot for 2k
delve is actually crazy profitable
delve is great
will probably be starting it next league
is very chill
Simu is another good mechanic to run
just crafted this and praying it sells
Great league now we rest
https://poe.ninja/poe1/profile/Alwheezy-3643/mirage/character/UndeniableAddict
I will surely drop a 1p Voices which I can then sell to buy 100% Adorned and then I can call it a league
surely
100%
haven't ran a simu yet but figured this would be great in it.
We got snow again last night
It's been warm this whole week so far
We had warm for like a month
but this week it started dropping below 0C during the nights again and only been like max +7 during the day with biting winds
A10 done on necro
nte predownload is up (press ctrl+f5 to refresh cache on the main site if you dont see it) (video if you dont know what im talking about) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GOHZo7Q2vo
guess I'm done with the TMNT roguelite
Bought it as well for 5eur or so was surprised how good it was
Excuse me, sir. You have 3 achievements missing. Get back to work!
Meme conditionals, no thanks
And anyway I bought Expedition 33 now
So there goes my free time for a bit
Wtf did I watch. Now I need bleach
even with my expectations sky high, the first ~30mins of Expedition 33 have blown my mind
I can already tell that the writing in this game is going to be stellar and I'm here for it
expedition 33 is damn well written, and quite fun combat wise đ
definitely one of the better jRPGs in recent years
yeah I've never played this style of game and currently I suck
Great game, GOTY deserved, hope you enjoy it.
welp it was excepted so
isn't that pretty normal?
Was expecting around ÂŁ50
I bought my 8bitdo last year and I think it was at least as much or maybe more
I... don't think that's a reasonable expectation in 2026 tbh
Xbox one controller I bought couple of years ago was around ÂŁ50 lol
time does fly indeed
Xbox One and DualShock 4 controllers are indeed around the $50-60 range still. DualSense is about $75, no clue on Series S/X controllers
TBF it also has more features like extra buttons, trackpads and TMR sticks.
And Elite controllers with say back buttons are 200$.
It's probably something in between those
Bro this game really is something else
Man, these people at the gym not cleaning stuff after using
Sure, they wipe them before using but then leave the stuff all sweaty
Yea absolutely disgusting lol
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leKD92i_KYs
New poe2 teaser
I played E33 for almost 4 hrs straight and only quit because my eyes were gummy because it's 2 am

Yeah this was a worthwhile purchase
Still kinda suck at parrying
You'll get there
Glad to see you enjoying the game
I need to buy it at some point too
It's totally different when blizzard does it
I know, right
Because reasons... okay
what weapon did you end up with on your AG build? I think that's my next and probably last upgrade but 4 gem mod + 40% more ones are 700 div đ
Don't even ask what it cost
Settled with lv 16 Ruthless because I was getting so burnt out crafting it
Lol wth.
I think grim dawn also did this with constellations
But it's more forgivable because gd is an offline game
Looking forward to playing d4 loh today
Well constellation is a bit different from let's say you had Warpath
and some of the nodes weren't available for you because you haven't bought the dlc.
Yea also for the base game the constellations fit just right
Most likely it won't happen immediately but I imagine at some point they will let everyone get access to all skills
In 2 years time
Feels the same to me as not being able to use specs in GW2 or subclasses in Destiny 2 from expansions I haven't bought. I really don't get the issue.
Me neither. I bought loh so it doesn't affect me đ€Ł
People are weird, man. Anything they can possibly twist to be "grrrr evil Blizzard/D4" will be twisted even if it's beyond normal
Although tbf I do feel like base classes shouldn't be locked regarding skills though
Not being able to play a new class/mastery/Ascendancy because it's in the Xpac, sure that's fine
Not being to play a chunk of the class your already bought because they reworked the skill tree and now a third of it is locked, imo that's not fine
Yeah, but the issues is they are locking bits of base classes
We aren't twisting anything to make blizzard look bad
It's twisted already
Okay dude. Enjoy your taste of hate. What do I care
Oo
You said, people are twisting anything they can to make blizzard looks bad
That's your word
And we agree on locking base class you already bought behind a new paywall is kinda scummy
I don't understand then
I don't agree, mate. This is normal. I have played and enjoyed games that do the same thing. I do not have a problem here. I'm saying being mad about this is ridiculous. So enjoy your weird rage, I won't be partaking.
destiny did this
both of them
that makes it a twelve year old practice minimum
gw1 did it
wow did it
You found it fine to loose a bit of content you already paid for?
thatâs not what happened lol
they didnât take skills you already had and then lock them
they added new expansions to them, and the new things are whatâs locked
you donât lose any content
There are things you can spoil ppl on things in d4?
Yeah?
The whole dlc lol
It's not as bad
But I still don't like it
Feels very scummy
Ah right, people care about the story in diablo4
then donât buy it, but this isnât like a new thing
Yes nub
just sayinâ
crazy. people like the story in the game they paid for
Never said it was new
But I guess it's the first time I am confronted to it
And not being a new thing doesn't make it a good thing
And gd is basically my fav arpg
one day the gameâs i care about the story for will get sequels. one day
cough roadwarden
It got that visual novel thingy
Bastion for me and I don't mean highguard cough I mean overwatch
that was an older project they rewrote to be in the same setting
and while i did play through windy meadows it was clearly of lesser quality
Blizzard buffed my main in OW this season đ„č
Hades is cool but I love bastion waay more
and also it wasnât much of a sequel
Fair enough, didn't know the other part
stop sleeping on pyre
Pyre
I tried it and just didn't draw me in sadly
pyre is legitimately their best and largest game
itâs like triple the length of hades
That's fair, it definitely isn't of the wide appeal game type I'd say. It's pretty niche.
and the mechanic of losing your units overtime if you do well is rly interesting
I do have it on steam collecting dust xd
You kinda have to really like the gameplay to get into Pyre otherwise it just doesn't feel as good as their others I think
Never heard of Felvidek before.
that game was definitely made by ppl on dee em tee
itâs a short eastern european rpg
where you play as an alcoholic knight
I'll be honest aside from some of the originals like lucio and reinhardt I might not know who you are referring to
lifeweaver
Lifeweaver. He's not new new but he is OW2 era
the queer indian genius
Ah yeah I'm not playing that
he lives on his own island out in the ocean like Big Boss from MGS5
why!
Ok then definitely no idea. I last played before signa was released I think?
Canonically hot as hell and gets mad women and men.
yep
big boss is also that
itâs rly funny how the best games i have ever played, with some of the best stories, are also games that barely get recognized
Me when I mention total annihilation
I don't have to like every game out there, now do I?
Roadwarden, Blue Prince, Endling, Nine Sols, Book of Hours, Okami, Pyre, Scarlet Hollow, etc
I cried to Nine Sols and Endling actually
He's a really interesting single target healer. Has a weapon swap mechanic to go between heal and damage which allows you to passively build up burst healing between fights, has a platform that can be placed to give better angles or traversal over some walls (and can cancel a few enemy ults if used right), also has an ability to pull teammates granting them temporary immunity and cleansing any and all debuffs on them, ult is a big tree that pumps out big waves of near isntant health and overhealth. Also also he has a self-healing air dash built in.
dude i literally just asked why get off your high horse
idk why you conceptualize genuine curiosity as some affront to your being
old stuff, but by this point some companies are so entrenched they "can do no wrong"
ÂŻ_(ă)_/ÂŻ
tbf I was surprised that WotC Pinkertons drama blew up like it did
It simply does not look appealing to me.
Nor does playing as alcoholic knight appeal to me
If I want alcoholism in my life I can see plenty enough around me
Not everyone shares your ideas about what is 10/10 must play for everyone.
well⊠yeah
i donât expect them to
i was just curious why it wasnât for you
personally i only play games if i get to be an alcoholic!
Poe and any game that has potions is for you then!
no. not potions. alcohol, and they better be calling it alcohol
itâs why disco elysium is my favorite game /s
Screw it, I will bite.
Why the /s ?
Because that's not the reason you like it, or because it's an god awful pos game ?
Grim dawn has beer
because thatâs not the reason i like it
disco elysium is an amazing game
And drinking alcohol makes you drunk and lose your ability to hit xd
oh god yea that was 600+ div, I just got this for 150, and swapped in greater multi strike. I think my damage quadrupled lmao
personally i land all my punches while drunk
speaking from experience
Spiritblades are so funny
so sexy
I got me one o' them 12.5L Flicker ones up on mirror shops
Wait
For clarity I got a copy of one, not that I have one on mirror shops
I'm somehow nowhere near unemployed enough to make those things
me neither, mirror tierish crafting is not for me. I'll just farm and buy it.
Most I'll do is like, half a mirror value. And even that's depending on if I have the energy for it, sometimes I just want "close enough". I don't need a billion divines on my account, I just want to be satisfied and capable of doing what I'm aiming for.
it was one of two pieces of media that aided in my conceptualization of culture, a metaphysical energy created by sapient perception, in my own writing
directly inspired in part by disco elsyiumâs Pale
the other was Heaven Will Be Mine, where it was also directly called Culture
Yes my ring sucks, no I don't want to talk about it
same, I'm trying to delve deep. at 600 now and my damage was slowing down. I think I'll be fine now til 1500ish.
I love delving but I haaaaaaaaaaaate making delve specialized builds
I delve for an hour, then do 6 harvest juiced maps with Niko scarab to refill 65k sulphite then back down.
it's crazy how often faceted/ hollow fossil nodes pop up past 500
My issue is that my brain wants to go full force on a build for one mechanic. If it isn't just "this makes more stuff in maps (think Breach or Beasts for example)" I have to dedicate an entire character to just that thing or I'm not happy with it.
and Aul is easy af, I just afk tank that fight
this build does everything good. haven't tried simu yet but with this new sword I should be fine damage wise
I got about 25 str nodes I can tattoo too
Some day I'll just tattoo my entire passive tree for fun
With exclusively the expensive ones. It'll be pointless but funny.
Unrelated. Holy shit, Warlock is ripped this is great.
Get a tattoo of your entire passive tree
I'd die
Ah right, afraid of needles
Well, that's just a part of the experience
Dying a little
Maybe some day I'll overcome it enough to get something done, I really would love to
I'd like to get dark sign from dark souls
but eh đ€·ââïž
I used to be scared of needles but combat lifesaver course fixed that pretty fast
starting an IV on yourself is real fun
I've come to terms with them
Kinda have to because of diabetes
i have to get my blood drawn every three months and now that i experience that so often iâve gotten past my own fear
also lubricating an intubation tube with your spit then jamming it up your nose and down your throat is quite the experience
Eugh...
What a wonderful thought
kinda pokes the back of your eyeball
My guy really bought an anthill
We have some comedians on the dev team I see
Yes
Spoilering just in case: ||THERES FISHING. GAME IS PEAK.||
150 for that is alright yeah. You could have made it for cheaper but it really is a headache
To wait or not wait is the question
Why yes, I'll click the... BUTT? to use my skills
Sorc or Necro hmm
nte with pathtracing on
that looks. awful holy
2021 and now we have shaders ai slops >.>
that's so uncanny
like it's trying to be realistic but even without putting in effort my brain is subconsciously picking up details that are intimately divorced from reality and making it so uncanny
the thing that IMMEDIATELY jumped out were the clouds, they're way too low to be that kind of cloud and the reflections are wrong so it's very obviously a skybox to my brain
this is with it off for reference
that looks so much better
for context its meant to be an anime style game
yeah stylized will always be better
Come on Blizz you gotta add pigments to weapons too..
and more than like 2 haircuts đŠ
Ok damn the ||giant rats|| are giving me tripophobia lol
snazzy
Blizzard gets their outfits right, without a doubt
Not to mention how clean the skills look
I think sad reality is, that's the most important thing in aRPGs
looking good
and feeling good obviously, then mechanics are secondary or tetriary
I don't agree with that at all lol
I'm struggling to figure out what skills to go with in the long run on Warlock. Partially cuz I'm not sure how to feel about the class specializations thing. I'm considering axing the minion part entirely.
I went sorc so I have no idea about warlock xD
I might switch over to warlock at some point though
it's ironic that the most fun I had in league (solo) was when I played with chat completely muted
Super ZSNES is back??? Nice
so far LoH is fun, but man VoH felt really pointless in retrospect
Bit of a spoiler but this boss bugged out lol
Wth I clearly marked it as spoilers
Ok nvm discord is just glitchy right now it seems
Yeah, this server plainly stopped working on discord twice already. At least for me
I think something is up with Discord
Probably the really big, public servers
Warlock so far is fun, but I dare to say it doesn't feel really that unique
It's like playing sorcerer in D&D compared to wizard
Still doing sorc here xD
Basically you have the fire spells, shadow spells and some are summons that do direct damage. Then you have actual summons with "buts", like it cannot move, or you summon a sigil which spawns demons if you kill stuff inside
It plays basically like Witch Doctor minus traditional pets, plus blink ?
I like it, wish it was a bit more unique but I don't really mind it that much. At some point stepping on other classes toes is inevitable
Yup, DMs are breaking too
Ok who broke Discord, reveal yourself
It is I. I cast Mass Touch Grass!
Jokes on you I just got back from my ruck, I was touching grass for 2+ hours
Oh cool, mpreg
DO NOT CLICK IF YOU ARE WORRIED OF SPOILERS
||Holy shit man, Tyrael drop in is crazy. The pure gods damned aura of summoning the sword and handing back Lorath's mark is so good. Gods I am so glad the game has its writing actually shown, not just told.||
depends where you are, too
Still looks pretty uncanny but I ain't gonna argue
yeah still looks just as bad
all good, option is there for path tracing if people want it
i get how it might detract from the anime aesthetics for some
i donây think the game looks very good either way tbh
even within the anime style
stylization is always more important than fidelity and i donât think it leans enough into stylization
@gilded elm in your opinion, is it worth learning agentic AI on a no-code base or is the extra effort of learning coding from scratch at age 36 worth it for someone who just wants to be able to understand use agentic AI in other workflows
Are you asking about whether incorporating agentic AI into your non-code projects is worth it?
No, from a learning pov
Oh using a coding agent to help you learn?
Like should I literally start learning to code so that I can learn agentic AI or is it ok to just start from a no-code approach
Honestly it depends on the model to an extent because no-code approach should be reinforced by a really good teacher but yeah I think it's possible to learn how to use agent harnesses or to create your own agentic workflows without having prior coding knowledge.
For example Claude would be a pretty good teacher.
I mostly just want to learn it for personal use + having working knowledge of how it can potentially integrate in organizations
Trying to learn coding from scratch feels intimidating
Right. The concept of an "agent harness" is quite broad in terms of its form factor. Claude Code is an agent harness, but that's a terminal-based coding agent and it might not be your preferred method of interfacing with an agent. Then there's personal assistant agent harnesses which are focused more on giving AI more autonomy and integrating it into your personal or work life (reading your emails, searching your computer etc).
I know people who've integrated agents into stuff like WhatsApp or Gmail but I'm not that aware of how it all works yet. But yeah I'll probably use Claude
Probably start with something that can read a specific kind of email to do preliminary research on
If you did want to use a coding agent, I think that's fine though. The models these days are good enough that I don't think you need to feel compelled to learn to code, but it does require a different kind of skill, basically you do want to develop (over time) a fundamental understanding of LLMs/contexts/tools so you know how to actually optimize your workflows.
LLMs really get finnicky when intent is ambiguous and working around this requires a certain kind of workflow. I wouldn't get too ambitious starting out, literally just ask Claude to build something for you, don't even think about it. Then ask Claude to explain things in a way that you would understand. Ask questions, that's important.
Oh and don't grant Claude access to destructive tools until you feel safe about it. Claude can read my emails, but I don't allow it to delete or edit anything.
Things have been ramping up, it's been getting crazy. At work, I've barely written more than a few lines of code by hand in the past couple weeks. The models and tooling are starting to get really good and agentic coding is super powerful in the hands of a software engineer. We got people at work with OpenClaw agents just working while they sleep lmao.
Hmm right, that's why I wanna upskill a bit, even if it isn't technically my wheelhouse
Thanks for the input
Man
I did not stretch enough after the workout yesterday and I feel it now
Heh D4 story is basically family drama including Sanctuary's most messy divorce
I definitely enjoy the family drama focus way more than VoH "filler content"
Nearly sorted
I don't understand the concept of dump tab in LE
You can assign affinities to every tab
And when it doesn't go there because it's full in 3 clicks you can duplicate it
Go fast pick stuff sort it later
Realistically u going to set affinity on stuff u want but not for everything that can be useful
I like to zoom, dump, then when cba with mono , sit n sell dumped stuff
We all hoarders let's be real xdd
I'm not
but i betr you would like to have stashes be better
I would like filtering to be better but that's for a lot of games
The simplerer but efficient the better
I just don't pick things I don't need
Sometimes this does lead to me later realizing I could've used it but that's fine
Im using a MG filter for high value stuff, so i just dont look at it, i zoom, pickup, dump, zoom some more, so i know most stuff i pick up is sellableat high value, and then ive altered the filter to show class specifics for my build. so i know whats sorted and whats sellable
Yeah I don't play mg
never tried CoF
Cof is nice but I still hoard lul
I really don't need dump tab, that's why I am confused
If its an exalted, goes in the exalt tab
If its Uniques, uniques tab
Idols? Idols tabs
Target farming wise best ssf implementation
I have idol dump stash
my ocd kicks in when it not sorted like my vid, like everything clean, but boy its expensive for the tabs
Why not having your idols go straight in 'your idol tabs?
If you pick it up, it means you think it's good because your filter showed it
Otherwise it doesn't show, and you don't pick it up
No I mean I have idols that I use and then I have a dump tab for hmm this is good for another character
ma dump is just for high value sellables, thwe idols are there for if i m ake a new build
They are with affinity
I have tabs for primalist idols, sentinel idols Weaver idols
And everything is auto sorted
I don't get the point of having an middle step
It's a weird habit I prefer take time go through everything instead of sorting it by tabs affinity idk lol
i might just setup my dump to take the exact stat high value stuff i have in my filter. but will take forever
But I do have class idol tabs to it's just I always have extra 2 dumps and idol dump
What I can't be asked is something like setting up a character affinity so everything for that character goes to one tab because I don't know if I end up making the character at all
hahah i was thinking of doing that, currently have a fire spriggans, a heartseaker and a minion build in the works
If u going to make it than sure but if it's a 50/50 meh
i already have tabs for my twink / reflect builds
but they universal for all classes, so might not make seperate for the others
Memes
just read this and I pray that it is medically diagnosed OCD and not a trivialization and dilution of medical language for the sake of engagement
Nope not engagement, just the thought of my tabs being messy when offline...brings me back online just to check. Must be about 4 times a day I check. Like a blue arsed fly at home... Oooh is this where it should be.. why's that there. I didn't move it? The angle on my Striker, Jaeger isn't where it should be... There loads of tiny things that ain't really tiny to me.. if they wrong the whole day ruined
Yeah so that's just engagement if you don't actually have OCD
Mental health disorders are more than just some funny or cutesy inconveniences
idk that sounds like ocd ano
i don't have it, but a close friend of mine does, and that sounds like compulsions
@junior oyster I love Bridges.
I have no idea what that card is or does lol
Curse
I took it to get 2 free removes but then had to pivot from the shop because of Elite fight
I have successfully finished the main campaign of Lord of Hatred. Ignoring my one gigantic horrible bug at the veeeeeery end, that was very solid imo.
I enjoyed that a lot; great area design, solid story and character writing, top notch animation and art as always, fun bosses (I intentionally played at higher difficulty so I couldn't nuke them). I'm quite happy with what they have done.
Been playing normal mode because fire sorc kinda sucks
I'm nearing the end though I think
Pretty sure lightning Sorc is still the giga archetype of the class yeah, but fire should be doable in endgame with gearing.
I'm about 8 hrs into E33 and I can safely say I get the hype now, and I feel privileged that we get to experience such a work of art for a few tens of dollars
Whatever awards the team got aren't enough
Genuinely
Ok
What
when did your takes on games get so bad lol
where's the fantastic game?
Yeah idk Dream I thought it might have been a productive chat but with you starting off with an insult rather than a counter opinion, I guess I shouldn't have bothered. I'm not really in the mood for low effort ragebait.
The counter opinion is simple; game sucks.
Always nice to see well developped arguments
It's honestly incredible how often people default to assuming she's ragebaiting because she has the opposite opinion than they do.
As for this, I cannot be bothered to put effort into developing an argument against people deepthroating that hogwashed deus ex machina piece of utter garbage that they call a video game.
Right, it's just easier to tell people they are wrong and leave it there
Yep.
I think y'all forget that I'm an antagonistic, rude, and frankly violent person sometimes. I do not care if you agree with me or not I will simply ignore it.
i am never ragebaiting
like ever
everything i say is my unfiltered dogshit opinion
idk why ppl constantly say i'm ragebaiting
i've given long extensive breakdowns of why that game is flawed and not even good, i don't have the energy to do it again
also it's inherently inflammatory to state e33 didn't "earn enough rewards" when the amount of rewards they earned shirked other, more deserving projects, functioning as an industry plant in what has been overtime a community event
it is the most awarded video game in history, and i compel you to truly analyze the video game you are playing for the much-too-long story and wonder if it is the best game ever made
I've never had that conversation with you, nor am I compelling you to explain it all again
if you say so. Insulting someone's opinion right off the bat is hard to classify as something else though. Especially because you and I disagree on games often enough and I don't recall ever insulting you for your opinions.
Sure if that's how you wanna interpret the statement. I didn't actually talk about real game awards or anything though. And I do recall the last time you guys talked about this, I agreed with you all that yes, real indie games should be the recipients of real indie awards, not larger studios.
"Deepthroating"? I disagree with you saying D4 is a great game but have I ever claimed you're "deepthroating Blizzard's shite" or something? I don't recall so.
and again, that's what one would think when somebody opens a conversation with an ad hominem rather than "I don't agree because xyz"
I call D4 good. Not great. At least get your comparisons right.
alright fine, good not great, does that really change my point?
again, I understand disagreement, I don't understand insults appearing out of thin air
You're fully within your right to insult my opinions on it, too. It's amusing you think I am or would be bothered by that. I have my opinions on human rights insulted on a daily basis, this is so far down the totem pole that I get a twisted sense of fun out of seeing people rise to something as small as this.
...?
Whatever awards the team got aren't enough
Genuinely
ano, pls explain how "awards" doesn't mean "awards"
Deias, idk if you're having a bad day or something, but I think I should explain that I think of you as a friend and I don't randomly go out of my way to insult my friends for enjoying something even if I don't like it or agree with it. I don't think that's what friends are supposed to do when seeing each other experience joy. And I don't think that kind of behavior is justified by "oh I get so much shit from other people so me indulging in shitty behavior is just funny"
I can see why that statement might be confusing and annoying but to be clear I just meant that I was loving the experience and I felt that the team behind it deserves more praise and recognition
the team was one of the most funded teams ever and they received the most awards on an individual project of any game team ever
okay? I'm saying I used that expression as a compliment and not a literal "give them more stuff"?
frankly, i don't think deias sees you as a friend, take that how you will
i'm saying get less confusing compliments, then
sure alright
Idk I wasn't expecting this level of random ass hostility out of nowhere over expressing enjoyment of a video game
if "when did your game opinions get so bad" is the insult, then... you're a grown man you can handle a dissenting opinion about your stature, it's barely even an insult. it's just me saying i have come to not agree with your opinions on games
i am an e33 hater
i believe e33 has done irreperable damage to the gaming sphere, following after bg3's footsteps in that regard, and that not only is the game technically and visually poor, along with having a bad story and poor gameplay systems, but it's also an industry plant
liking this game is a fundamentally bad thing to be doing in my view
i'm not hostile. i'm direct, and you don't like what i'm saying, so that means it's "hostile" when we simply disagree
i have nothing against you and i don't think your takes on video games are of much import to a person's character
frankly ano, i think you need to recognize that you simply... rly don't like me! and understand i am not actually being hostile, you just don't want to be talking to me lol
enjoy I guess. Pointless conversation. Ad hominems are dissenting opinions in the same way that a barfight is a public disagreement.
Also I disagree with "visually poor, bad story, poor gameplay systems" because I have enjoyed every single aspect of them so far. I have no data on industry plant and I'm not inclined to believe it either. I haven't played enough BG3 to have an opinion on that take either.
where is the ad hominem
whatever dude
i am asking a genuine question
to spell it out for I think the 3rd time: opening with "when did your takes get so bad" aka an insult rather than "I don't agree with your opinion" is, in fact, an ad hominem
you're right, it can be taken that way. to me there's no difference in your example statements, but understanding you're different, i apologize
apology accepted, thanks for understanding where I came from
even if it goes to, like, 50% of where it's at now for me, I would still love every minute of it I think
i suppose i should have suspected as much
I actually added very the first soundtrack, from the opening segment of the game, to my regular playlist
the music is the best part of the game and the only thing they actually deserved rewards for
my wife randomly heard it playing and was like where'd you hear such an amazing song from
the music really is great so far. Like, independently good as well as perfectly meshed with the settings and scenes
i hate it, but it's good yeah
in fact, thinking back on it, I think one of the contributing factors to my bouncing off the initial few hours of BG3 is because their soundtrack just isn't particularly immersive
i turn off music while playing games so
like the combat soundtrack seems to be the same for the while that I played and it's kinda shit
I do this for ARPGs
surprisingly Darktide has some of the most BANGER soundtracks imaginable
i do it for everything, i've rarely had a soundtrack enhance a game
usually i'll play with it on for a bit before fully turning it off
notable games i haven't turned off the music to while playing: dishonored, roadwarden and celeste
I think I got Dishonored for free on PS
but then I haven't been able to play on the console for ages
An ad hominem is not by definition an insult. An ad hominem is when an insult is used as an argument.
E.g. ad hominem: your argument is bad because insult
Non ad hominem: you are insult because your argument is bad
I really wanted to move on from this, but if you insist: https://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/ad-hominem
An ad hominem is a fallacy. Cmon mate, how is an insult a fallacy. You have to be fallacious for it to be an ad hominem
Even that definition supports it
the insult itself isn't a fallacy, the act of insulting character / individual rather than rebutting argument is the fallacy
Exactly. Insults aren't a fallacy unless the supporting argument is insulting their character as part of their argument
It isn't instead of rebutting the argument, it's when it's used as a logical fallacy in an argument
An insult used instead of arguing is just... An insult
situationally speaking, if your response to a point is simply "your take is shit" rather than at the very least "your take is shit because xyz" then that literally is an ad hominem. Specifically falling under Abusive Ad Hominem
if your response is "your take is shit" that's them insulting you and refusing to argue. An ad hominem requires an argument to even be fallicious in the first place.
i rly have no skin in this but i wanna mention, ano, that all of this is you assuming "when did your takes on game get so bad lol" is an insult
eh? no?
yeah yeah this is just academic
i felt pretty blase about that statement, frankly, and it was meant to poke fun not insult
an ad hominem is a logical fallacy in an argument.
If you are not argueing. You are not making an ad hominem when you insult someone.
"Your take is shit" is not an argument, it makes no claims beyond the insult.
:v anyways sorry for being autistic about this
I guess that's one interpretation of it. Subjective IMO
because it's not unreasonable to think an insult IS an argument
if i'm insulting someone i'm not going to be arguing with someone lol
i'll be busy insulting them
I think the nuance is the differentiation between an argument, e.g. two people bickering, and an argument, the academic concept.
An insult, by itself, is an argument in one but not the other.
i was never going to engage in the first place
reasonable differentiation
did you put foulborne 7 leagues on your AG? I forgot that's an upgrade I can make and wondering if it's worth it.
hell nah, I used a volatile vaal'd Foulborn Victarios
I think it's 13 or 14%
this was my final POB: https://pobb.in/NO-594latUBn
sweet thanks dude. I'm still delving lol, almost to 750. tried a simulacrum and it was easy af.
damn your boots are sick
I got very lucky with the suffixes
I delved to about 400 but called it a league soon after
I think I will probably start delve and/or simus next league though
Very chill mechanics
Good change of pace
yea I'm loving it, delve for an hour, 6 maps w/ harvest to refill, back in. I'm about done too but nothing else I wanna play.
Tbh I'm kinda thinking of maybe coming back just for delving and maybe heisting
Not that I'd really need the currency from it
but as something to do to pass the time better than doomscrolling while I'm not sending out job applications
Just kinda annoying to do the initial set up for heisting, getting the characters unlocked and maybe some gear for them
At least you don't need to lvl them up anymore
Jesper kyd is so good
after Mechanicus we've got so many 40k soundtrack bangers đ
I do have a soft spot for tracks from older 40k games like say DoW, or first Space Marine, but the quality leap was noticeable
Regarding E33 soundtrack I think it's a bit overrated, It's good.
But it's a soundtrack I like listening to couple of my fav tracks, entire thing ? I don't enjoy it all that much, some songs feel same-y if that makes sense.
Finished the D4 dlc - pretty good
Also do all these companies share voice actors? Coulda sworn I heard Apophis in the campaign lol
the VA industry is quite small afaik, and the biggest names in it work on a lot of projects
e.g. Shohreh Aghdashloo has given her voice to a LOT of characters
as did the guy who voiced Zavala in Destiny 2 who later tragically passed away, I forget his name
Lance Reddick!
that was his name
amazing actor and voice actor
Yea just finished the campaign too
Honestly I think it was good but ||I would have liked a little cliffhanger of what will be next lol||
We'll just get Nolan North to cover for him /s
(They have a section in Destiny 2 where his character imitates another and the devs said that in the studio they had to do multiple takes telling him to "do it shittier" because it was too accurate an impersonation)
In seriousness, genuinely irreplaceable, they've had to pull back on using Zavala a lot because of how hard it has been to have his lines covered and not be super noticeably different
kinda took me off guard when ||fighting Adreona, hearing its Apophis||
Who?
idk if you've played Horizon but his VA in that is incredibly good as well
perfectly embodies the smart asshole archetype
Oh speaking of similar va's I swear Conquest (invincible) and fake kitava in LE sound so similar to me lol
I have not, but I believe I have at least one of them in my Steam family (there's four or five people in it)
Nnnnot sure if I can run it, I'd have to double check
The evil dude right?
that's the thing, he's done his role so well that you can't even legitimately call him evil
Tbf it's been ages since I played that game so I can't remember
He isn't in the sequel right?
I don't have the sequel though
yeah he is
he just has a smaller role, unfortunately
I think because Lance Reddick was quite ill by that time
I see
The meals in monster hunter make me hungry
Yeah they be like that, it's rude
Homie got that Destiny 2 Dragon's Shadow fit on
I've only played destiny 2 for like 2hours, if even that
I've no idea what you're talking about realy
new Banksy appeared in London a few days ago:
brilliant as always
so many layers of meaning captured in a single piece of art
one of my favorites because it's literally within walking distance of where I live
Bishop đ I met him on a USO Tour when he was in Baghdad, Michael Biehn too.
just a quick meet and greet but everyone's always cool as shit. Steven Colbert used our bathroom in the Al Fah Palace as his dressing room, I was right behind the stage for their Today Show in Baghdad. when he shaved his head.
Eh
It has kinda similar theme but don't think it's the same
||the Amazon queen you fight sounds like Apophis||
There's many characters named Apophis across media cuz it's just.... big snake god from Egyptian mythology.
Ah, one of these again
sus
I cast Lightning Bolt!
I cast fallout boy
I played a lot of D&D, and I already see couple of red flags
Yup
Also not the first time this person posts that they're looking for people
Maybe need to call mods?
There's... technically nothing breaking the rules, I guess
And it's not posted often enough for it to be spam either
and tbf my red flags are regarding the nature of the game, so it might be just that people keep leaving the campaign, and it's in perpetual slots filling mode
just a possibility
It was a different campaign last time
Aren't campaigns usually way way longer ? Kind of reinforces my suspicions lol
It's been what ? 3 months since the last time ?
Never actually played any
They usually last longer than a few months
That is sus as they spammed invite and didn't add to the conversation or inquires
That FOMO tactic won't work here today
all the D4 players here, how's the playfeel of the Paladin?
D4 player here but sadly I only play sorc
For like 2 hours and then quit the game đ
Why to what?
Why did you quit?
Usually I do but this time I might stick around for a bit longer
I kinda like the wartable thing
Ah so you haven't quit yet?
But normally I get bored very easily
Like the skill tree (even now) feels kinda boring. But then again I haven't unlocked paragons yet so idk
Skill tree was fun enough from lvl 1 to 30
And now it's just +lvl to skills
I am just lvl 45 rn
Tbf though it's much closer to d2 now though
I miss passives in the skill tree
I'm around the same level I think
Same
Also putting points only in the main skill feels kinda... bland
Extremely tanky, has very thematic divine spells
D2 skill tree isn't really interesting tbh
I'd like to be able to put points into the side upgrade nodes
animations pack oomf?
Yep
In retrospect neither is the d4 skill tree. I was hoping for an overall bigger branches but it feels like d3 runes now lol
The side paths I mean
gdi you are right
It's like 10% of the runes, but with skill points to upgrade skills lmao
I am enjoying the game enough that I am considering buying the Xpac, even though I am still annoyed at the 1/3 of the tree locked behind a paywall thing
hilariously enough I don't hate the new nodes, I just want passives back
Also I'ma spoiler this since it's related to the lore but ||they stole so much from d3 but can barely be bothered to reference d3 is insulting aside from using d3 chars||
LoH felt like proper expansion
Same. I like skill conversions
VoH on the other hand uhmm, filler content that if it was removed from the game safe for the last 5 minutes and a fight
Nothing would change đ
Would hope that we get skill conversion from uniques too (I don't know about uniques).
Yea lol
Also VoH was kinda predictable imo
safe for the last twist, which is hard to predict because how stupid it was
Met the old man. I was like yeaaa this guy gunna betray us lol
I try to justify by thinking it in D&D terms it would be like "you want to persuade him to do what ? okay, you have ridiculous charisma bonus. You may roll, but it will be very difficult rolls nat 20"
I have a feeling that considering (LoH spoilers, not VoH) ||Neyrelle is a controversial character, and she gets killed off screen before expansion even begins. Whoever wrote VoH really loved her, and was removed from their role||
Does it really count as a spoiler if they showed a whole damn trailer before game release?
Also I hated Neyrelle at the start but over time I actually started to warm up to her (sort of like Leah in D3 lol)
Also I kinda hated that Lorath ||was offed offscreen too||
Paladin cooks really hard, plenty of very viable builds from classic Hammerdin to Auradin to "summon a gigantic lance from the sky to chain holy lightning off of".
Gigantic sky Lance?
That does sound cool
Man the damn expansion is just kinda expensive
At least at this specific point in time for me
Totally get that, I was lucky enough that wheezy grabbed it for me. But yeah, Spear of The Heavens is kinda gnarly.
I want tempers like this back tbh
Yeah the loss of those kinda sucks, I'm not sure why we didn't get equivalent replacements (maybe there are and I haven't seen them idk)
been modding tales of maj'eyal, and I've finally gotten to the point where coding feels natural.
Even if I still suck at it. I'm not making any basic errors and it doesn't feel hard to read or write it.
debugging though is another story.
I've been playing some Monster Hunter World again
It's very nice
though I wish you could just go through the whole game with a friend without having to deal with the cutscene bullshit
Press X for a quicktime event.
Don't think there are any of those in MHW
But I want to rage without putting in the effort of playing the game.
Just that the "cutscene bullshit" being that if you haven't seen the cutscene in the mission yet you can't join it or others can't join you... So you need to find the right location and then it plays
then other people can join
Sure, this is mostly during the story and the story isn't that long
but it's still annoying
And can't skip them either
oof that does sound annoying
I remember the community asked the devs about it
And they said that they worked har don the cutscenes and don't want people skipping them đ€·ââïž
I don't really mind the cutscenes while playing it alone
but I remember when a friend tried playing for first time & we wanted to do co-op they almost made him quit it
GGG ass take
Yeaah
Tbh the MH games that came after that did allow for it and they didn't wanna start fixing it in MHworld post release
hilariously enough they did cave in with limitation in MH Wilds
still has some really stupid ones, but it's a bit easier this time around
The cutscene bullshit did make me quit lmao
All I want to do is go off and hunt giant monsters with my friends. I do not care about the story or the cutscenes, leave me alone Capcom!
Yeah, Rise too
I feel that
Games with unskippable scenes make me just straight up quit
i get flashbacks to BL3 unskippable dialogues/audio tapes
random edgy blabbering while i just want to kill stuff
woo
Kinda hated BL3
Might be wrong here but when D3 first came out you couldn't skip the cutscenes
I have to play every BL game with dialogue turned off because it's that irritating to me
Idk why but I read it as BG3 xD
Never played that one
replaying bl1 made me realize that the "humor" got worse with every game until 3 then i just stopped trying
Yeah
in BL2 you can see it's just a lot of quirky lines from reddit
and gets worse in 3
I've been saying this for ages but I'm also met with backlash of "no no it's actually really funny you just don't get it!"
(it wasn't funny)
The amount of "Bullet to the knee" jokes said by npcs
"bonerfarts" and so on
Come on
*always not also, sorry I'm talking to someone outloud so my brain is struglging to type
I get that
Tbh I read it as "always" instead of also
The worst crime the writers have ever done is with Wonderlands tbqh. They made a game that has an actually sad and meaningful message to it, but they couldn't stop themselves from lathering it in the same annoying style of "comedy" as every other entry. Which I suppose was doomed to happen from the start because it centers around the character whose entire, well, character is that humor.
Was wonderlands the Tiny Tina one?
Yeah
Yeaaa
I don't care much about unskipable cutscenes, because I very rarely skip them. Dialogues however ? I do like to skip the lines once I read them
I mean after a first playthrough
Or especially in games where you lose to a boss and have to restart the boss fight and have to go through the cutscene again lol
It's less common now but I think I remember that happening in one of the castlevania games
The final fight of LoH has an unskippable cutscene between phases and I know this because I died several times trying to fix a bug where the lack of a loading screen after that cutscene caused the arena to not load in for me (I eventually figured out forcing a load screen by portaling out and back in would fix it)
Endurance of legendary
My soul cry insane from unskipable cutscenes exactly before fight bosses or events where you can't save in middle of fight or something and you need listen that thing over and over and over and............ ugh
i just blame randy pitchfork for that
seems like the boss that'd love to insert dumb jokes into writers work just cos he can
I'm sure that is the case, yeah
no "kinda" about it for me
garbage game
well, garbage VA and plot and story and worldbuilding and characters to be precise
great gunplay, great skill trees
not that BL1/BL2 are any high bar for writing or plot or anything, but somehow BL3 is outright gratingly obnoxious
the best part of bl3 is rhys and zero because they're both developed in a much better game (tales from the borderlands)
i find it rly funny that he's played as an edgy cool guy assassin initially and it turns out he's just implied to be gay and likes haiku's
his faceplate changing display to express his haikus is chef's kiss
wrench and zero always reminded me of each other
oh yeah, that's a fair game
@junior oyster When are we doing multiplayer.
Maybe on monday? bank holiday for me for me
Sure
I got STS 1 on sale the other day, my first time trying a deck builder (other than Marvel SNAP I guess)
and uhhh yeah I accidentally played for an hour and a half last night
If you think sts1 is good wait till you play sts2 even if it's in ea
it's ABSURDLY addictive I'll say that
I used to think bullet hells were addictive
this thing is next level
It's only rookie numbers but this is my time spent in sts1
Compare that to my most played game aka poe1 on steam xD
there are definitely better deck building roguelikes out there
but sts is popular for a reason
I have played a few (monster train (1 and 2), blood card, roguebook and tainted grail). Personally I haven't found a roguelike deckbuilder that is as good as if not better than sts1.
griftlands is the one i was referencing
Not disagreeing with you though. I think sts1 has hit the right spot for most people
i havenât played any of those
And yes I'm aware sts 'stole' from previous games uhh I forgot the names of
couldnt get into griftlands at all
I saw Baalorlord play it I think. And yea same
This applies to many other roguelikes he has played too
Like ftl
why?
i think sts is just an accessible start to the genre
especially since itâs pretty easy
thereâs better rogues out there for sure, but you canât rly go wrong with sts
felt extremely slow and handholdy in the first run
enjoyed mt1 a lot more than that and STS
the first run is for story
also you can just turn tutorials off
i think the best rogue games on the market rn are gungeon, curse of the dead gods and noita, in no real order
crypt of the necrodancer is up there somewhere too
oh, and rabbit and steel
Yeah one of if not my favorite deck builder. I've tried others but nothing ever scratched the StS 1 itch for me. Until StS 2.
I can't tell if this is about griftlands or sts1 but I'm gunna assume you are talking about sts1 here based on your comment below
I too enjoyed mt1 but similar to sts2, mt2 is a very awesome experience too
nope was about griftlands
STS1 was fine but it felt a bit repetitve to me, MT1 has more whacky/escalating stuff which is more fun to me
I like mt2 (and sometimes mt1) for those quick but fun runs but sts 2 (and sometimes sts1) for the more intense runs
Also one feature I love about mt2 is the restart turn feature
yeah that one is nice, i just really miss the combione 2 random creatures thing
Honestly I don't
I miss the free upgrades though lol
Glimmer with piercing went hard
I liked my first two runs of Griftlands, but I think replayability sucked
It did not click for me, shame because I love Klei games
For me Monster Train was the best deckbuilder
Do you like mt2?
it's awesome, I should buy it instead of trying the obviously great game in gamepass lol
Yes you should
personally MT1 > MT2, couldnt get into the second as much
It's better on steam than xbox imo
But i think i'm more of a deckbuilder tourist anyway
I didn't like the corniness of mt2 for sure though
thankfully all the clans from the first game are in the second one
but yeah, it was a bit too corny
the vamp survivors deckbuilder also didnt click at all for me
weird mix of being extremely simple but kinda requiring more attention than i want to give it while not giving a lot of strategies
For some reason monster train 1 doesn't work for me unless I force it windowed
other than that it's just a black screen
sounds funky
It's one of my go to games when I'm bored or don't have a lot of time
Although these days it feels like all my energy has been drained (after work) so I don't get to play anything that often
Yes
Insane
Please feel free to post sts1 runs btw. No spoilers needed. Win or loss I want to see how you react to different stuff lol
I'm currently on my 2nd run ever, with the Silent character I unlocked earlier
But I gotta work now so I'll resume it later
Made it to 3rd area
Silent's so hot cool
the amount of cards I can have active and play every turn is kinda wild
especially compared to Ironclad, though that was strong in a different way with the giga block
STS is pretty cool. I wish I was more interested in that style of game :P
it just feels so... engaging but chill at the same time, I don't know how else to describe it
like chess, but snazzier
We have that it's called shogi /s
thanks for mentioning that and making me Google what it is
It rewards you for your micro and macro decisions
Wait you've never heard of shogi before?
nope
Huh. I'm a bit surprised.
I know chess, checkers, mahjong, and go, in that category of games
I know ludo đ€Ł
the iconic GOAT
Fair enough. Am a go fan, though I suck.
man it's such a shame how little we learn of our own culture...
I had no idea about any of this
Unrelated; any D4 gamers needing high tier gems go farm Seer's Reach, boss drops royal gems
well I knew about shatranj but I had no idea shatranj itself was derived from a more ancient Indian board game
I really like board games, I'm just terrible at them lol
I might quit d4 soon but thanks for the heads up
I used to love playing stuff like Cluedo, Pictionary, the Game of Life, Scrabble, and ofc Ludo occasionally
The only boardgame I've enjoyed currently is sts
was ok at chess too, for a time
It was fun playing with others
local high school level
Np. Gear chase is kinda rough right now, I'm at T4 and having to farm pretty hard for each piece.
I haven't even hit 70 yet
Yep it's my go to travel tool
I either play sts or vs on mobile
this is a perfect mobile game
Ahh. I'm paragon 101 xdd
Yes! A lot actually, barring Helltide because my laptop struggles with Helltide
Gods have mercy that's some gnarly gloves @junior oyster
got to 3rd area boss but died
Rolled Willpower to attack speed, masterworked crit chance, slammed multiplicative shadow damage
Will need to make new ones eventually but for now these are giga
When edgelord is insufficient, we need edgemaster
Birdnerd, my GOAT.
I guess reaching 3rd area boss for my 2nd run ever is decent
Yeah, aspect names are funny. That one is just okay for now, mild damage buff. I'll get a new pair of solid ancestral gloves eventually, gotta keep leveling war plans to get the high tier shit to show up more often
I heard that they actually made item drops sufficiently scarce now
so that itemization is more meaningful
Legendary and up is more rare until pretty high torment, ancestral is pretty hard to get (I have found 4 so far). Uniques are almost entirely farmed from bosses. Mythics aren't too bad once you have high war plan levels.
What really makes itemization more meaningful is crafting is a real thing now, and uniques no longer have set stats so farming them actually matters past the first drop. On top of this, sets exist in the form of charms and you can get unique item powers on (non-set) charms too.
Further still, a lot of additive damage sources have been removed and a lot of filler affixes have been reworked so it's more important to actually target the stats you want and use, combined with a loot filter it makes farming feel more rewarding.
man, imagine if they'd led with this
Would've been interesting to see reception had they done so yeah
Put nozdormu in the game
but like make it cut your turn short instead of making you skip your opponents turn lul
note: in sts1 there is also an enemy intended to counter infinite's
ppl see this as a challenge to overcome lol
kinda crazy that DRG Survivor got a paid expansion as an update...
guess the greed finally pushing through at Coffee Stain
how'd THAT happen...
They what now?
hmm, a class, biome and mission type for JESUS 10 euro/USD
I thought it was slightly overpriced at 7, but it was just currency conversion .__.

damn seems quite a bit too expensive
I think at 5$ it would be fine-ish, but it's definitely the opposite of what their team got us used to
New poe trailer
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R-UG3642raQ
... 15 years ago?
Yea youtube recommended it to me now lol
yeah, I guess that's new
I'm gonna go on a biblical loss streak soon I can feel it lmao
Summoning the worst possible teammates in your next 40 games
Every Yin has a Yang
Nope. Only need to do the capstone missions (ones on the side) to unlock next rank.
Pantheon top otp đ
Would not have guessed
What do you think would be more fitting? :p
I hated that matchup, but it's probably bearable after his rework XD
old Pantheon matchup was so annoying, either he runs OOM or you out of HP first
I mean it's much the same, I take double mana runes for a reason :P
But at least it's not point and click anymore
yeah, you can dodge it
before what was annoying was the inevitability of it xD
not that I can complain
I've played liked of Fiora and Aatrox top, used to play Teemo as well, but alas riot killed the Manmo build
Most fun I had was with Akali post her rework, but riot decided to nerf her and dumb her down sadly
"oh no, if you manage to utilise your passive correctly and trigger multiple times she deals too much damage, let's nerf it"
"oh no, she has no damage. Let's increase her E scaling from like 30% to 120%"
Yeah the E doing like half her damage I'll never understand
I think she was way more fun when her passive granted her a lot of movement speed, and you could do hit and run tactics
It was so fun, but alas
I mean it was fun to play but it was absolutely horrendous to play against tbf
now it's binary: you either hit your E and mog the enemy, or you miss it and do nothing
Manmo was fun when he briefly worked as well, basically Teemo but does not stack AP and the likes of Nashor's
Thankfully panth wrecks teemo
nono, he grabs Blade of the Ruined king and goes full tank
and not many people play him since he's purposefully kept kinda weak
it was hilarious to see the likes of Tryndamere trying to bonk me, then he realises I have thornmail and he deals no damage
and later on trying to run away from me, and I permaslowed him with Frozen Mallet

I miss frozen mallet ngl
if I picked Teemo and seen Pantheon as my matchup, I'd try to force "manmo build"
literally grab armor as my first item, then try to bring some on hit damage
your only choice is to try and farm under tower tbh
because he will delete me without those
yep
post 6 I can try to zone him a bit with well placed mushrooms
but that's about it, you need HP and armor to survive Pantheon
yeah if you can survive the combo you can try kiting him, honestly I think rylai's would be a great purchase so your e slows him
otherwise he'll just run away with e
panth e is a bigger move speed stim than teemo w
I probably would skip Zhonya's, it's not enough armor
outright grab a tank armor item
yea zhonyas is worthless
