Looooong story. We are technically in "Hero Siege 2" and that update was extremely controversial (because it made the game a really shitty Diablo 2 clone for like two years). After enough community flak they started turning it around. It's quite good now.

That's all in space and managing like a large (slower) ship, but you have the option (assuming you have either other players to manage the main ship or a good NPC crew) to hop out of it into the weird personal thruster-pack things and zip around real fast to fight against enemy units and board their ships

Idk if it's still the case but there was some very hard meta weapons and a very strong warframe tied to it

Omen circles come from echo chains, the boss in each circle calls omen champions, we can get idol altars from these champions, different colours of their horn tie with different types of idol altars, they maybe drop that new type of idol and runes of corruption too, once I collect all types of altars or kill each of champions xxx times, I can summon the boss, exulis is the exclusive drop from final boss of omen.

Thing is I can imagine how one would go about doing it, but it's still super impressive since obviously the games wiring systems usually have quirks you gotta work around

I've made some very simple processors in emulators, nothing that would run a game but if it wouldn't take too much work to make that happen for something like tetris or pong or whatever

But I wouldn't know how to go about it in something like minecraft since I'd need to learn redstone first

The worst part would honestly be actually writing the programming for the game, not so much making the computer lmao

since you'd need to write it in pretty much machine code unless you make a custom compiler for your processor which would be even worse than the entire project combined rofl

The most impressive one I've seen so far is the minecraft in minecraft one

since it has quite a few features

like leaves decaying and dropping items, that's kinda nasty

Iirc they made a custom compiler that translates python into machine code that their computer can run

which makes it way easier to program features for the game but making the compiler in of itself is crazy like I mentioned

Generally no. If we exclude "vibe coders" you'll know what you're doing and writing, the copy paste meme comes from when you encounter something new that you need to look up. Someone somewhere will have wondered the same thing and someone else will usually have answered them by writing a snippet of code demonstrating how to do it. So you can just yoink that code and paste it into your code

But that's all it is, a snippet of code for a specific problem usually

You wouldn't really be able to program anything by just copy pasting from stack overflow or something

Mostly it has affected my job in a good way, because our company doesn't mandate its use and is in fact anti-AI for coding. So the use cases where I use AI is mostly for really tedious things that humans shouldn't have to spend time doing (as opposed to writing code which is the opposite of tedious, it's fun).

For example I've used the AI in Jira (ticketing / task management system) to do boring crap like formatting tables or organizing data in my ticket comments and such.

But it also depends on the model and how well trained it is.

So AI sucks really bad at big software projects, it just can't comprehend the entire scope due to limited context size.
