Oh yeah, Spring/Hibernate in particular are super cool IMO. Also I have the same opinion on Groovy, I wish Gradle didn't use it. Though I guess you could just use Kotlin for Gradle, too.

I think if I were to recommend a single language for game dev, I'd probably lean towards C# as being the most practical option because it can be used in both Unity and Godot, and between those two you can make basically any kind of game you want.

i've not had fun trying to get c# working in godot might be a skill issue though. I'd just say people should just expect to learn different languages altogether.

This is odd to me, it should work with C# practically out of the box. Worst case you can always like, hop into a Discord server and ask for assistance though.
The main reason I recommended starting with GDScript is just due to it being easy to get off the ground with if you have minimal or even no experience with anything, and at the same time it has a good amount of similarity to other languages which will make the "switch" easier in the long run

More so the opposite of contrast.

You want to paint in some lighting to bring the colors together.

E.g. the sun and sky bring in yellow and to a smaller extent blue into a piece.

These colors bounce off the surroundings and absorb color as they interact with the environment. Which adds a rainbow of grays to the lighting.

By adding a tint of a color to each color they are pulled in the same direction, making them tie together and look more natural.

Look up marco bucci on youtube and his series on light and shadow colors.

1. Hard to answer. it very much depends on my mental state. Music does a lot for my energy levels though. Listening, not making, I'm horrid at that. I use it as a coping mechanism regularly. Sometimes though, I just am not able to feel happy. That's just how life is for me.
2. I can't answer this, I spent my entire childhood using video games as an escape from the world and my personal circumstances. Beyond that, I have extreme memory issues; I'm already starting to lose the majority of my memories from 4 years ago.
3. Once again. Music. It helps me work. It helps me process my emotions and thoughts. It helps me feel human.

I don't believe I necessarily have a "gift". But I'm okay with that. I'll push myself and work to find something I can do, even if it isn't something I'm "gifted" with. And when I manage that fully... Maybe then I'll feel fulfilled.

I played attack based this league as it was really cheap to start (just when you guessed it CI + Ghost Reaver) with Whispers and Herald stacking. I think it's genuinely one of the most flexible Ascendancies in the game whether you go attack based or spell based. Played with the Eviscerate Ignite and Slams Ignite and they're both relatively cheap and easy to start as well no Mageblood/HH required legit Dydian Dawn builds lol

I also think Fire Trap of Blasting Elementalist would be giga dam too I know how much you like traps @twilit mountain
