You can't really "evade" it, you have to watch for the red aura pop and as soon as it happens you run. if you wait for him to start moving its too late unless you are in 35% ms boots/very fast otherwise

god i need to rant. I cant deal with POE2 anymore I came back to try it again and I just cant every design choice seems to be made with the thought process of how much can i hold the player back. The game is slow and sluggish at every turn. I never feel like Im truly powerful unless im playing something so busted it wont survive to the next patch. Something as simple as gambling is restricted in the campaign WHEN YOU WOULD USE IT THE MOST. Every choice in the game is made to present the most friction possible. Its not fun its so tedious I wanna scream. Ive played POE since 2013 and this, if its the "vision" TM for the future its hardly playable. The one portal per map is so stupid its unbelivable. LE gets away with it because you only lose the map and reward, but "maps" are limitless. Playing POE 2 is less fun than dragging my balls through glass. I'll stick to playing LE until POE 2 can get its shit together, if it even can

Yeah I figured out that much. I guess I got the wrong impression of what I thought PoE 1 was, which I assumed PoE 2 was going to do.

I assumed that each PoE "League" had a mechanic that was wholly unique to it (And would be the same in PoE 2). By unique mechanic, however, I mean for example Delirium would maybe give you new crafting options, and Breach would drop special unique items, or some way to enhance your charm(s), or Expedition would give you some kind of cool gems that progressively got more and more special and crazy the further you went. Now, maybe that's the case in PoE1, that each league mechanic had wholly unique rewards that you could do a little bit of everything relevant, and be more powerful than someone who did JUST one of them. Based on what little I've seen of the endgame in PoE2 it just doesn't appear that way there. It's a little unfortunate to me if so.

I think Ale wanna emphasize the 1.8k hours for > 6 - 7 years. I got 1.6k hours on mhw for just over 2 - 3 years

I don't really play one game so exclusively that I rack up that much time. At some point, I NEED a change of pace, and a long break. Those breaks can be anywhere between a month to a year. Sometimes more.
