there's a mastery that grants "Cannot be Shocked when at maximum Power Charges", if you have 3x powerlessness socketed and that mastery allocated, you cannot be shocked

fragility on the other hand (-max endurance charges) does see some use

Got it through gamepass, been playing with my kid, it's fun, nothing incredible but a nice combination for an old pokenerd who was a bit disappointed with sword/shield Pokémon being worse than the old games

But it does hit the old collecting itch along with some exploration and resource grinding which you can largely automate to the not slave creatures

And yes, there's still a lot of bugs and little annoyances like not being able to heal injuries without adding a Pal to your team and stuff like that

But it'll be pretty great as a fairly relaxed survival game if the team decides to really polish it out and stick to it.

I still would rather buy the mobile platform they are designed for than a PC, I buy things for Switch when I want something to take with me, I buy things for PC when I want to sit and have something grandiose in comparison to go through.

I bought a Switch for my 7 year old brother for Christmas in 2022, he was stoked. He doesn't care about games on PC despite knowing they're there, he cares about his system with his games. Hell he doesn't even care about the PS4 I left him. He wanted a Switch. I got him a Switch.
