you get maybe 2 splinters each 10 bosses

its very unefficient on your mode , for mine its one of the best chances to drop elder/shaper/conq maps

if you dont have the elder/shaper/conq maps you can spec into atlas and then do 10 ways with destructive play allocated

its not very rare in your mode anyway so you should still drop it normally doing t14 > with atlas points allocated

elder maps is easier than shaper/conq so thats a good place to start

That is one issue I have. Like either nerf the shit out of these bosses for first time (like they basically can't kill you even if you try) so we know the mechanics OR give us unlimited portals.

But poe vets and ggg don't want that because poe is meant to be a "hc" game

And they can easily do that by giving us those green quest thingies for bosses like shaper etc

Instead we are expected to either watch some vidya about boss mechanics or die and learn

It would be nice if on the first try we get a green quest thing that has the bosses nerfed so we can actually see and react to their attacks. Something like that.

Especially if new pinnacle bosses are added

you can react to the attacks including auto attacks

otherwise your defense just isnt cutting it
