BG3? I ran into a bug that removed the HUD in combat for one of my group, could complete actions such as move and use equipped weapon but couldn't swap weapons, choose a spell or hit space to go to the next turn.

Hitting F5 to quick save mid combat then F8 to reload into the fight fixed it though.

all i'll repeat about playing durge is this, astarion is a fantastic party member that compliments a durge playthrough extremely well whether you try to be a good durge or bad durge, astarion just really brings out the fun of durge

but you locked yourself out of using tools, spells every other geart

and then wildshape druids can cast concentration spells on themselves, wildshape, and they'll stay

Paladins are fucking nuts

Dual wield is primarily a status inflicting build style

but paladin dual wielders those are the raw damage types and they can easily dish out more damage than a gwm fighter

From what i've seen, the best weapons to dual wield for paladins are a morningstar and a hammer

The skills they offer are nuts, even if you dont go the status route

I'm thinking of turning my vamp hunter dual hand xbows build into a status build, because of rangers Hail of Thorns ability

Which fires from both xbows, deals weapon damage, and then the shots fired explode

So it should apply any procs the xbows have

Also apparently oathbreaker/warlock is stupid

And i have no idea why it can do what it can do

Usually the lvl 5 feats that grant an extra attack cant stack

But for whatever reason, paladin and warlock pact of the blade versions can stack

And if you take gwm, you can get an oathbreaker/warlock who can hit 4 times in 1 turn

And if you count paladin smites, you can hit 8 times in 1 turn

Theres so much op and troll shit you can do in this game that just works

Somebody recommend me some games. I am into explorations, traps, puzzles, and combat. Dungeon Crawls, Metroidvania, aRPGs, Soulslike, even Blobbers. Anything which takes place in a dungeon, an active environment, rather than large overworlds populated with passive environments--laden with fetch quests and bubble AI, like most non-action, non-dungeon-ish, RPGs--where the physics engine and environmental mechanics are suffixed in favor of dialogue and quest collection like the Fed Ex boy. Hyper Light Drifter, Children of Morta, Dark Souls, Wizardry 8, Diablo 1-2, those are my perfect examples--especially if there is a more active dodge/parry combat system, with less face-tanking, more WSAD like Hero Siege, or any direction control--even bullet-time, if an unlockable, or with builds around it, is acceptable. I like stealth, horror, dungeony-stuff that gives me tense toenails!

i was scared too high attack speed would make mana leech alone too little recovery

but back then you could do crazy damage

it got nerfed though

but i think you can still do good damage and generate an okay amount of ward

honestly my biggest gripe with the game is unity, i dont have a ton of experience with it but i am studying computer science and both unity and unreal just don't seem like they'd be the best choice for an arpg

feel like it hinders the development quite a bit, but i cant really blame them, they couldnt make their own engine when they first started out or anything
