I'd debate that, solely because they can use bad stats like that to mitigate the items which are way too powerful IF max rolled. Not saying Nihilis or Omnis are brokenly good if top rolled, but in theory I'd say leave that functionality in for the sake of future design space if they intend on leaving the max roll outcome in the game.

step 2. wear item with this affix (still having at least 7 corrupted items (preferably excluding this item, so like 8 in total)

step 3, check if it added your attributes

if not, try to take off one idol

there are 4 variations for legendaries, max roll just the unique explicit mods only, unique explicit + legendary (your slams if they exist), unique explicit mods AND implicits, and then all 3: explicits, implicit(s) and legendary mods.

so its a 10% chance for some sort of max roll, but 2.5% x 4 for each variation

but all of them include the unique explicits which for omnis is the most important, so for omnis specifically, its basically a 10% chance for max roll assuming you hit the 75% chance of being a beneficial corrupt vs 25% negative outcome

for nihilis though, the IDEAL scenario includes implicits, so its more like 2.5-5% depending on if you care about your legendary affix being max rolled or not

usually I try to slam a high roll T7 so that idc if the legendary gets max rolled or not, basically making my chance of max rolling on corrupt a 5% chance always.

Look at the top left area of the weaver tree. Mages can drop items with +level to skills.
Speccing into that area and running the ruined prison complex echo is your best bet i would say.

You can always try to craft +level of heartseeker on the chest on a random t7 body armor and than havoc it, so the rune might hit your stat.

Well... yeah? Corruption rune just reforges the item, so it keeps the set affix you'd usually have during crafting and then randomizes other affixes, they can end up empty, so here he just got lucky with t6-t7 rolls 😄
