The purple stat (tier 6 and tier 7) is random, so you cant craft it yourself but you need to drop one naturally. If you kill Nemesis enemy, they also can drop an item that has t6/t7 sealed on it, bascially making it item with 5 affixes

Naaah... it just depends what affix you want, some are just harder to find and then you also need to get lucky to get the right affix slammed into the unique with Legendary Potencial... unless you manage to find 4LP unique 😄

This is in HC, so needlles did not contribute anything at all. 😄 I just tryharded with a mate Blood Frost and Death at around 300c.
But in general farming boss uniques is very nice now imo, even more as I usually farm in a duo group, so if we are not out for the same stuff, we sometimes see like 5-6 times the item we are hunting

I haven't tried it, but probably not - relying on taking damage to deal damage sounds like a bad idea, and you can only take damage in the thousands or tens of thousands without dying.

Actually multiple options. I use Seed on a Flame Reave spellblade, Lightning Disintegrate Sorc and Rive Void Knight. I think Disintegrate Sorc would make the most of a 2LP with flat channel spell damage and mana. But I'm thinking would damage dealt to mana be better(I already have 78%)? Choice paralysis is real. I'll wait for the patch notes then select a slam.

If you have health regen you counteract this interaction and lower the effectiveness since your HP doesn’t get as low

that's potentially risky: you'd need to use an insight glyph on a t3 affix. If you Crit the craft and go to t4 there's no going back

but you could "settle" for the regular affix in that case
