Yup i understand that, i was hoping to get more info like if this is just a relic of its implementation or if it wiil/can be changed, most (if not all) skills that have multipliers will apply the multipliers to the ailment, so its very confusing
Not a question (sorry if this breaks the rules) but I just wanted to comment that as a person who can't mouse/keyboard all day and night without my hands starting to hurt, the controller support in this game is really well done. I really appreciate the fact that I can use a controller for the main gameplay loop, but then switch seamlessly over to a mouse for inventory management and to spend skillpoints, which is less convenient on a gamepad. Other games frequently don't get this right, I'm so glad you guys did.
The only way we really have to remove this confusion point is to just remove the effect all together and it's a category of effects that we like so probably not.
Is that including the bugfixes or is that a seperate post?

wow all hype week posts were very impressive. congratulations! loved all the qol and crafiting additions, but i do have a question: do you, as a studio, fear making the game way too easy? Especially in regards of deterministic systems that offer low to none risk to the player such as eternity cache chosen affix or attribute affix swaping

It's a consideration. We are certainly raising the floor of a lot of builds. I don't think the ceiling is actually going up too much really. I think we're just going to see people having more fun with more varied and interesting systems to interact with; all while continuing to make progress on their power curve for longer.
I keep telling myself that the patch day coming up is just another day but it's also the 7 year anniversary of kickstarter launching so that's pretty cool.

I'm wondering, is it a design choice by you(I mean devs) to not make leagues with league-specific content? Or is this a result of you not yet being quite happy with the base game, so you want first to make the baseline meet your standards, and only later start making (possibly) non-permanent content?
do yall test your games online or offline? shield rush spam is fine in offline mode, but bugs out/freezes in online mode. when you told me that you checked it with the season 2 build, and it was no longer bugged...was that offline mode?
Is there any plans to buff totems or shaman moving forward? I really enjoy thorn totem druid but it really struggles in the later corruptions.
They've spoken about this, it's the latter (which i think would be considered a design decision still)

BUT would we in theory, craft a wand with the new set bonus then slam that epic wand into a unique wand and have the unique item inherit the set item bonus if the afix successfully transfered?
Reforged set items can't be combined with uniques in the Eternity Cache, because sets are themselves a type of unique and reforging one effectively creates a craftable unique.

There is no secret 3rd option and I really like the active use case for it so I'm going Bow. I did see a sweet build someone was doing with it in throwing mode that I might try out though.

When we first started adding bow skills to the game, we didn't have anywhere near enough time to fit any more bow skills on other classes and also work in enough support in their passive trees without crowding out other themes or stepping on Marksman's main main theme too much.
I think it is very likely that we will branch out Bow skills onto other classes at some point but it will take a while still. We just haven't had a great opportunity to add it in. My money is on Primalist or Sentinel to get it next.

merchants guild. its at the endish of campaign
One of the big systems in the game is called Item Factions. When you get near the end of the campaign, you'll have to pick between Merchant's Guild or Circle of Fortune.
Merchant's Guild will give you access to The Bazaar. It's essentially just an auction house that you can buy and sell items at. It has some restrictions on what can be bought and sold and you'll have to earn the ability to trade the highest tier items.

Couple of quick questions for the next season if i may .
- With Champion Affixes coming and being always sealed , it feels like we gonna need a way to filter for them . Currently we cannot filter Sealed affixes , would that be possible next season ? If not at the very least are the Champion Affixes on our filters rules ?
- The only way for someone to run a wooven echo is to slot it in after they clear a cemetery ? Or are there gonna be open slots for wooven echoes on our timelines by default ?

- champion affixes can be filtered with an affix condition (they are in the personal category)
- yes, you need to use an altar to place them, but you can target cemeteries to access it more frequently

Yes*
We don't have specific features for ultra wide monitors to make it even better so you do get side panel UI opening up really far from the center of the screen but it does play well on ultra wide monitors and you don't get black bars or stretching.

Mike, is there any plan to streamline trade so that I can trade everything from just 1 merchant? This is the one thing stopping me from MG tbh.
I still think the focusing about 3k HP is a bad decision and we should get more defensive options.
And the One shot mechanic is still really annoying.
I donโt found so many one shot mechanics in dark souls or elden ring and the same play time.

My friend is disappointed with the new patch because it does not add a new class that is a crab. He explicitly asked "Can they add a crabomancer?" I told him about the ring that replaces the dodge move with a summon crab item but he is not satisfied. I am wondering for his sake, if there are any updates in the wings past this one that you expect to add any crab-centric classes, moves, or mechanics to.
I actually heard someone mention a crab themed cosmetic idea. No idea if it'll happen but that's about the closest I could say.

Some items have very unique graphics but when you put them on they look like regular armor ( best example is a chest piece that would have a fire visual). Have these been addressed for season 2?
some but not all. it takes longer to make a new model (esp armor) than it takes to make a new unique. its a constant work in progress

We've made multiple performance improvements for the stash. The performance improvements are much more impactful for very full stash tabs compared to empty tabs (i.e. the speed of swapping to tabs full of 1x1 items, like small idols, is much improved).
- Improved performance when opening inventory, stash, and forge panels.
- Improved performance around creating new stash tabs with large/full stashes.

Question about the new lightning blast chain functionality vs channeling: Countenance of Mana says it only reduces the channel cost of LB if it cannot chain, for the new default functionality, does it mean:
A: that you need to not take other chaining nodes?
B: when you start channeling, it's a direct cast (adding one chain) and it'll lower the cost after 4 seconds have passed?

With this patch I noticed while looking at the forge guard changes that "two-handed weapon" is not consistent across the board. No. If you have a unique item imprinted, the Legendary Potential Level of the unique item does impact the chances of improving the LP from your imprinted version.

Currently it requires me to go to tunklab to find out which shards are below/above a specific droprate to include/exclude them for my filter

Hi Mike, can you comment on lenses nerf? I think you said just like week ago that you plan to fix "must have lenses" making them be a all time thing, but instead we get them more expensive to use? 
it's far from all just nerfs, if it makes you feel any better, we also put a straight up gold tax on MG.

Where do the devs stand on increasing the number of passive points? I know there should be friction and making important choices. But...I can't max out the ones I have. And certain passive trees are considerably more expensive than others which makes it a little more important than others.

the short version is that we found it was the best way to limit builds from going too bonkers with them but still allow people to find synergies and combos

For Heartseeker's Straight Through mechanic, the initial arrow will recurve on a single target like normal, and only ever proc the puncture if a target dies? Or will it proc Straight Through on one target if there is only one target (say, a boss)?

We were told the weaver collects souls in cocoons. When we break them open, they go to buff other monsters, making them possessed. (This was Tri's podcast i think?)
when the target dies it'll cast puncture as many times as that target would've gotten recurved more if they didn't die, so like if it was gonna recurve 10 times total, but the target dies after 8, you'll cast 2 punctures
Gotcha, but otherwise it would recurve like normal? So if it had 10 recurves it would just slam through 10 times and proc 0 punctures?

Will fragmenting the Last Bear helm offer the "100% chance to taunt nearby enemies for 2 seconds when you stun an enemy" as an affix? I love tanking, and I was hoping sentinel would eventually get a threat option besides it being on Manifest Armor. I have used Last Bear on sentinel in the past for tanking in group content. I get new friends into Last Epoch all the time, and I always play werebear so I can handle threat and taunt enemies with Warcry, as they get used to the game and build however they want.
Quick question, will the new Void Beams from Smite be affected by damage modifiers from either Smite or Erasing Strike skill tree? (Renouncement Void Knight notable)
I see with the change that the mana cost is removed from tooltips of triggered skills (eg: Fissure) but this mana cost will still be required for other effects like the crushing blows passive in Forge guard(more damage per mana cost). So is the cost now set to 0 so these skills will not benefit from such effects? or does it still exist and contribute to damage but is just not shown. Also I remember the shield breaker node added mana cost to the triggered skill Axe throw will this still happen or be removed also?

Mike, Penance(Paladin Passive) scaling bleed duration with endurance threshold, was this tested using foot of the mountain + close call? with a bit o dodge invested, block i can get constant 10/12k endurance threshold when standing still giving me roughly 600% bleed duration

In Void Knight passive's tree in "Essence of the end" described that you cannot gain void essence more than 1 in 4 seconds. But in other similar effects like Volatile Reversal's "Eldritch Infusion" there's no limitations to this. Is limitation to 1 essence per 4 second exists only for passive "Essence of the end" or this limitation is hardlocked for all essence gain effects from all sources?

That's an Avenged Blade Quiver. Blade Quivers are a new quiver type that's only available through Nemesis, and can be upgraded by killing a Harbinger with it equipped, like other Nemesis specific weapons and offhands.

Hi all, super excited for the upcoming release, I was curious about multiplayer though. I loved playing back at release (pre-season 1) with friends. This is honestly my favorite ARPG to play with friends, given the benefits of CoF faction while playing with friends.
One of our only challenges though was trying to progress the monolith of fate as a group of 3 or 4, as only one member of the party would get any real "meta-progress", it wouldn't effectively transfer over.
I was just curious, have there been any improvements in terms of meta-progress in group play?
Reduced the total number of mobs. It does not affect the number of mobs in each wave.

skipping the campaign is designed to be there for alts. you arent expected to have the gear or the keys to skip on your first toon
you CAN get a key pretty early on (I think you always get one from a chest in the imperial era map)
but even then you still want to do the campaign or you wont get access to merchant guild or circle of fate

they save an imprint of the item at the time you "place" it in the imprint slot (the same interaction as if you were placing it, but the item stays in your inventory) - if you make changes to the item later, the imprint will not change - you can freely overwrite the imprint at any time (e.g. if you craft the item to be better or find a different item you would rather imprint)

is it possible for forged weapons to inherit unique affixes of an equiped weapon? specifically forge weapons dont seem to have resistances baseline (correct me if I am wrong), if I add physical resistance to them through a gloves roll and phantom grip ring (makes glove stats apply to forged weapons) will then the unique effect of the 2handed sword Torkrefin's Hunger apply/proc on their attacks? (phys pen and bleed chance per uncapped physical resistance)
Phantom Grip doesn't apply unique effects and I'm pretty sure they don't inherit unique effects from weapons either
phantom grip would apply the physical resistance, the sword has the unique effect and forged weapons inherit the used weapon stats thats the interaction I am trying to figure out if it works, other unique things that are easy-ish to test like plague on hit do apply
test with, i dunno, Frozen Ire or another proc weapon? you might be able to see the Viscera stacks in their buff/debuff bar also. I would be shocked if this worked though.

We'd love to do this, but because of how these special stats are applied, it's a lot more complicated than with regular stats, especially without it negatively impacting FPS.

no, that would be if it said "deals 600 fire and 600 necrotic damage every second for 12 seconds"
also because it is not created by a skill but rather directly by the player, it never scales off of the more multipliers from the skill or the attribute scaling of that skill
it would scale off DoT + now the new item thats really up to 600/700% more dmg on witchfire, no?
here is another way to look at it. What is your lowest stat of melee/throwing/cast speed? ok, ignore the rest, scale of the worst of the 3.
It scales off of any global modifier which applies. It's just like how fire aura works on mage right now as an example.

for performance reasons it is technically not "true" random using atmospheric noise or something like that but we haven't weighted it.
mike, can you justify loot lizards nerfing especially for campaign? I understand the woven part, but you don't have access to those in the campaign. So essentially your gear progression in campaign is now nerfed
multiplayer progression is definitely better than in 1.0 with easier catch up but it still feels bad and breaks the flow when progressing in a group to go back and catch everyone up to make sure nobody is left behind and it gets even worse the more players there are, not sure on a solution to prevent other issues arising from completely shared progress
a lot of players felt they appear TOO often, and were often a pain point chasing them so often. so the devs reduced their spawn chance. BUT they also increased the loot they get. Overall its about even for loot. if not slightly leaning towards more loot overall.
So with the void knight being reworked so heavily. To be have a lot stronger damage reduction in combat. Was there ever a fear he'd devolve back into the hit and run class he was with the old volatile reversal, and were there any measures you had to take to prevent degenerate playstyles from evolving out of it?
sorry, where does it state "increased the loot they get"? There's only the loot lizards spawn less frequently by default in the patch note, unless I'm overlooking something

would it be possible to add more then 75 rules to the loot filter? as someone who is involved with one of the biggest MG help discords that made loot filters in the past we wont nearly have enough rule's to add all the conditions needed to make a good filter, 75 was tight in 1,1 already.

if you look at its interactions with the Arcing Power node, you'll notice that this should not matter, unless its actual functionality doesn't match the tooltip (which isn't uncommon in this game)

I'm unsure if i can ask this here, but What does "Per 2% Uncapped Elemental Resisntace" mean in Defiance threshold passive?
Intuitively i would think "+1 endurance threshold per uncapped ele res" would mean per any 2% of fire, lightning, cold resistance I have, meaning if i had 40, 50, 60 res of each (total 150), i should get 75 endurance.
but lastepochtools is giving me endurance based on lowest elemental resist (20 endurance, instead ofd 75). while it could be bugged, makes me think if the game is possibly thinking "elemental res" as some kind of... set, say if you had 40 fire, 60 cold, 75 lightning res you have 40 ele res (while not intuitive at least could make sense in some regard).
maybe if the node actually would function like latter "lowest ele res" would be more appropriate wording? maybe just letools is bugged?

Double checked the game code and "uncapped elemental resistance" for Defiance is the total of your cold, fire, and lightning res.

For example, if someone wants to build around a specific champion affix, which only drops from one type of champion, they'd need to try to get an exalted item, hopefully with relevant affixes, with that champion's affix. Question for EHG: For this new nerf to auto-casting meteors with Harbinger of Stars, the way I'm reading the patch notes makes it sound like the cost of meteor is reduced to it's "normal" cost because the verbage used here is: "Twin Meteors grants an additional meteor for direct casts (from any cast). It adds 50 mana cost (from 70). <- So I'm hoping this means that when auto-casting meteors you do not pay this extra cost and only cast a single meteor, is that correct?

I have been a long time supporter of the game, love the vision. I have a question, the phasing and lack of physics between player and monster makes the games combat feel very light and easy, is this a design concept or is it something that the team is still iterating on? I was looking at the new unique item "Inheritance of the erased", i was wondering, will it apply to shield from ring of shield? right now i'm looking into a "mono" minion with manifest armor but with ring of shield as extra defensive layer, in the case the frenzy buff apply to shield than i will trash the idea.

I'm playing minions necromancer and the ivory twin ability feels kinda bad if you spec out of bone into a different kind of golem. Basically whenever I start up the game I get all my minions out and I have to re-summon my golems 5-6 times until RNG gives me 2x flame golems. And then they never die so they stay flame the entire time I'm playing. If it was a mechanic where the intent is to get a random one every time as a downside for having two of them I could understand that, but in the current state while I'm levelling it just feels like an annoyance
Edit: Also, it's kinda inconsistent with other minion skills. Mages for example you can spend an extra skillpoint to remove RNG on mage summons and get a fire mage (for example) every time
They can vary some based on which slots they are allowed to appear in. TunkLab has the chances calculated out for each monolith timeline.

It needs to be the same unique, the sacrifice needs to have a higher amount of lp/ww than the unique being rerolled.

Basically since you're not really using your weapon for throwing attacks they're not intended to be affected all that much by the weapon if that makes sense (I know there are exceptions like javelin throw, but think of that as a magical javelin you manifest)

It won't convert a red ring into gold. The chest drop in between echoes is an example.

None of the imprint nodes work for none "world drop" items
As in they won't drop that exact item, you might still be able to put it in to get "similar" items though (don't remember if you can even put them in)

I don't see any mentions on dodge roll bug where character dodges twice automatically, always reverting to starting position. It's really big issue while playing HC. Has anything changed in that regard in season 2 or this bug might still happen? Is the exact cause of this behavior known?

This is my favorite ARPG to play with friends, but one of our challenges was trying to progress the monolith of fate as a group of 3 or 4, as only one member of the party would get any real "meta-progress", it wouldn't effectively transfer over.

Manifest armor doesn't actually equip the items so they have no set items to get set bonuses from.
It's a stun style effect like freeze is. So it's not actually stunned for the purposes of interacting with stun triggers or effects.
As an avid gamer of ARPG and MMOs for over 15 years now, I cannot tell you how excited I am for the new patch. The game looks great, everything feels perfect and I am currently arguing with my wife for child duty while I go ham on the new patch.

There does still need to be a good reason for it. The mastery respec has a good reason and also the dev time to implement is extremely low by comparison.
You are right , it would be good for retaining more players to the game , a huge quality of life update . The story in and of itself self is fun leveling through the first time but not the 3rd 4th ,10th time etc . One thing yall could add as more simpler alternative is like an arena , that is wave based and scales with your level . Grim Dawn did this with the crucible . I know this is something that will take a lot more time to implement . this could be one way of doing it .

Your tree applies for yourself. If it gives you a bunch of echoes of a certain type you can do those together though. So some overlap.

I'm glad to see the new set item crafting mechanics being added. but I am wondering: what exactly is the developer's design goal for set items at this point, like, what role do they play in gearing a character? are they supposed to be BiS items for certain builds now?
If you take a dozen random builds, I expect to see a healthy mix of items with all sorts of different item name text colors. There aren't that many set items in total so many builds will have no use for them but I expect them to be very competitive options where they make sense.
Void Bolts shot from Volatile Reversal say they shoot at up to 3 enemies. Does that mean if there is only 1 enemy that only 1 Void Bolt will be cast?

Fixed a bug where Orderโs Impositionโs threshold bonus was granting Brand of Deception either 5% or 6% more damage per 1% global shock chance based on points allocated, despite stating it grants 1% more damage per 1% global shock chance. It now grants Brand of Deception 6% more damage per 1% global shock chance.
the way i read the patch notes is that it will now correctly give 6% more / 1% shock chance at both 5/6 and 6/6 points in the node while earlier it was giving only 5% more if you put 5 points (so no change if you previously put all 6 points in, buff if you only had 5 points)

re: Witchfire damage calculations, are the currently seen numbers for the Warlock Passive Node: 10% more damage per 1% global ignite chance, 20% more damage per 1% global damned chance (Grimhilde's Domain) the correct intended numbers. With both of these global chances relatively easy to scale to 300,400,500,600% these more multipliers would be in the realms of 7500% more and 13410% more (and i dont think i need to say why these numbers sound problematic, those two alone represent a multiplier on damage of 1million x damage leading to 50 million dps for the dot before any increased damage is taken into account)
I feel like more multipliers on hard to scale damage source (like time rot and brand of deception) have way more reasonable numbers of around ~800% more at most, so why is this one so large and in two parts?

Unlike Jelkhor's knife, Ravager's Dart does not specifiy that the skill no longer needs a bow. However, it seems it will lose the bow tag for a throwing one. So will you still require a bow with this unique?

the node specifies 'global chance to ignite with fire skills' and 'global chance to inflict damned with necrotic skills'.
both of these are actually very restrictive mods with the warlock tree being only source of global chance to inflict damned with necrotic skills and ignite is only found in warlock tree and soulfire unique relic.
I might be wrong on this though, but usually the wording on these kind of things is very specific for a reason

I know that very few players are interested in this topic, but for me it is very important in a game, and that is the music (maybe because I play music as a hobby myself): I saw that in the early years Rob Benson composed the game's soundtrack, and from ~2020 until now Erik Desiderio. Some of the tracks composed by the latter composer became available with certain editions of the game, and are also available on Spotify. Though, many tracks can't be found that way either, to which I was previously told that you planned to make more and more available as time goes on. That's clear. But what about the earlier tracks? I love Erik's stuff, it's really brilliant. But there are quite a few old tracks that I THINK were composed by Rob, and I can't find them anywhere except for an unofficial YouTube video. Just to name a few: Seafloor Colliseum (Lagon bossfight), Heorot bossfight, Thetima, Crossroads, Lonely Camp, and so on...
Are these tracks not available because Rob composed them? Or will they be available later? Or since Erik is now the official composer of the game, will these songs be replaced with new music composed by Erik over time? These older soundtracks also have a very special feeling, they create a different atmosphere, I love them, and for me they have somehow become one with the game through the years, I wonder what their fate will be.

Would you be opposed to removing content creators from the PTR? The game is by no means solved but there are many guides releasing from knowledge from it. I also think it would be healthy as a few content creators don't sleep between LE PTR, D4 PTR, and PoE(1 & 2) releases to maintain their guides and results in poorer quality guides. Also how does even enter the PTR?
Yes, but there was also mentioned "many more", so I want those as well.
Guides come out when the patch notes go live on all the build planner sites. Usually a week in advance. This has always and will always be the case with every ARPG. If you want to avoid guides, I recommend not watching them on YouTube. And just play the game when it launches.

If you have T1 strength on a sentinel helmet and swap that to T1 intelligence, can you upgrade that T1 intelligence to T2 and above at the crafting forge? The patch notes say sealed affixes can't be swapped with Relic of the Observer, but it doesn't say anything about whether or not it's possible to seal an affix after swapping.
Will the Super Arena Echo count towards completing Arena Prophecies?
I double checked on the internal build and no, since intelligence can't naturally drop on sentinel helms, it cannot be selected in the forge to upgrade, even if was put there by the Relic of the Observer. I'd be interested to know why you'd want to seal it though, since attribute stackers tend to want high tier exalted attributes, not low tier sealed attributes.

Arena prophecies are fulfilled in the arena that is accessed with a key, not arena echoes in the monolith.
I want sealed intelligence because Divine Essence had +attunement added to it in season 2, and that messes up my int/att attribute balancing for Ucenui's Sphere. I need exactly +3 int somewhere, lol. (Feel free to solve my problem by changing that passive into +all attributes BTW, LOL).

i played for like 150+ hours and seen every unique for my class at the time, I kept feeling like I wanted either more extremely high end uniques or just more in general
However this is with one class so im sure theres enough per class, it just felt kinda low is all
Not sure about the amount of time it takes to make them, but its still early days for LE, once they are into their 3-4 month long season cycles, i'd expect to start seeing a decent chunk of uniques added with each season, similar to other arpgs that follow that model.

So in the patch notes there is a base loot reduction for regular enemies. Afterwards there seems to be an increase to the scaled loot modifiers for magic and rare monsters, which seems to be scaled off the base amount. Does this mean that there will be a smaller impact of the increased scale to magic and rare monsters then the notes imply?

Cocooned items feel a little weird, being the first items we have to effectively identify from inventory. Is there a technical reason we ended up with them or is it just a thematic thing?
Countenance of Majasa new shield:
any plans to nerf this shield before actual launch?
Block was already super strong before 1.2, but at least it had certain weakness, that it wasn't that effective vs DoT damage. Now with this shield, literally every hardcore character will be going block, and with for example 4000 Block effectiveness which is very easy to obtain, this shield grants 42% DoT mitigation basically for free.
on top of that, it has effective level of legendary potential of 40, so it won't be uncommon to see plenty of 3 LP shields.
So TLDR, 90% of hardcore playerbase will be some form of block sentinel using this shield, and it will heavily limit build diversity. So in my opinion prenerfing this shield before 1.2 would be a good move.
Can we get more info on ancestral sabertooths? For example are they gonna scale with other more damage nodes on the sabertooth tree or from aspects that typically just affect companions? Or is it minion of a minion scaling similar to baby scorpions

they added quests to dungeons that give idol slots and skill points if you arent at your maximum, so you need to do less/none backtracking when you use them to skip campaign on alts

Or would I have to put a red ring unique in the slot to improve my chances of farming another? (so freaking excited for Thursday - just planning my first alt :D)
It will help find more item like the one slotted. For unique you need to place the unique itself and for bases you can put rare or exalted. ( To my understanding the stats themselves don't matter only the base)

It's pulling the internal wording of the item that has its tooltip overwritten when it is in position so it sounds a little weird.

with all the balance changes in mind, would an average build with average amount of buffs be able to do all the new content on the same corruption lvl as before

Ideally we would have consistent global coverage for everyone. Unfortunately we don't have the resources at the moment to set up servers in some regions. Even just different parts of the states can be very different in costs. I don't have any details on potential new regions at the moment.

The patch notes don't mention a gold breakpoint for mastery respecs at level 80. Does this mean every respec between levels 70 and 89 is going to cost 100k?
it's a smooth scale, those are just points on the line we called out because it's easy to read that way.

There aren't massive increases to LP availabilities. All the new tools together smooth out the process. The biggest thing by far is the auto-hit on slam 1 affix.
the main rewards I would say are the specific things you get at the end which everyone shares.
I'm not sure what you mean, there are 20 of them. Check out the trailer for an example of what sort of stats and modifiers they get. They also get a couple new moves each.

Mastery is currently tied to a main quest, and in general unlocks around the same time you have 20-22 passive points.

Yes, Renouncement Beam is a subskill of Smite and benefits from that skill's multipliers. Erasing Strike's void beams is another and benefits from that one's. I'm just trying to figure out if Renouncement Smite's Void Beam has +1, +2 or +3 damage scaling per vitality.

Hey there! o/ I'm looking at the "Grace" node in Smite's skill tree, which reads "Smite heals allies for more health", with the actual stat line reading "Smite healing: +200%" (at max points).
I'm wondering if the increased healing from that node is additive or multiplicative with "increased healing effectiveness" modifiers / if it's internally an "increased healing effectiveness" modifier that's worded differently, or if it increases the base healing of Smite before increased healing effectiveness modifiers are applied.

I haven't seen any confirmation that Renouncement's void beam truly is a subskill of smite. If it is not a subskill, it gets what's listed on its tooltip (4% inc/str & +2 void/vit). If it is a smite subskill, it does not calculate its own attribute scaling at all, so it gets whatever stats smite has (modifiers from skill tree and either 4% inc/att or +1 void/vit depending on your points in Renouncement).

Necro minion builds have a lot of focus on superbuffing 1 minion, because of dread shade. Any plans to add more support to make the classic minion army/zoomancer more viable (into mid-high corruption)? The fantasy is not being fulfilled by very many ARPGs these days, and you guys have the fantasy down, I love it, it's just not very scaleable into endgame so we usually end up playing roidmage, abom, or wraithlord.

now that the set rework is official and coming in s2...i know that opens up chances for new sets to come out. but will they follow the 2-3 piece per set 'rule'? or could we see some bigger sets come out?
Champions start spawning in level 6+ areas. All the Weaver/Woven stuff starts as soon as you get into the monolith.
That is a bug that's listed as fixed in the S2 patch notes.
That's sort of disappointing... Campaign is just monotonous over and over each season...
With the new style of set items, there is a lot more room for larger sets to exist. I don't think we will see 6+ set bonuses but I could see a set with like 6 pieces and a 3 piece set bonus so you could build the set bonus without using the whole set maybe. We don't have anything like that in development but just using it as an example of the increased flexibility in the system itself.
