Past early maps, the maps are often like 10 levels+ lower than your char level

Level 85 zones are uber bosses

I can kill him every couple tries or so on a character that pretty much isn't allowed to get hit. But it does have good damage (sub 2 minute kill time usually).

Your character needs to be good at something to kill him. Either it's really tanky, has really good damage, or is pretty good at both

If your character is both squishy and has meh damage you're simply too weak yes

There are builds that can obliterate him yes. But they're not the only ones that can farm him

If your build can kill him, and you're skilled enough, you can farm him

The gauntlet of strife woven echo takes two of the same unique item and rerolls ones stats. Like if a unique can roll 10%-50% physical resistance and yours only has 12% you can use the gauntlet of strife to try and roll it higher.

To do so you sacrifice one unique with equal or greater Legendary potential to the one you want to reroll.

Legendary affixes count as lp, so a legendary item with 2 crappy affixes from nemesis counts as a 2lp for the sake of gauntlet of strife, letting you reroll another 2lp copy of the same uniques stats

And I think clear time of sub3 mins makes it quite a bit easier. Cuz of how the final phase works.

He starts out with phase change, then charges a beam, fires it, then walks to the middle to charge his slam. This is like a full on DPS burn phase.

Then the chaos starts, and the more dps you did during the burn phase, the less time you have to spend during the chaos phase.

So like, if you can output enough dps, you start cutting a lot of the difficulty out of the final phase.

If you have the damage for it, you can kill him before the slam finishes. Final phase becomes trivial.

Going to guess you looked through all the procced drops. The changes only changed the tiers that should result to be more in line with the rest of the drops, but the affixes should roughly be the same.

Level normally till lightless arbor -> skip to Risen Lake in ch4 through dungeon -> run till Oracle Abode to unlock side quest with Sanctum -> run Sanctum to skip to ch9 -> run till observatory and decide if you want to finish ch9/ch10 for +2 to all attributes
