most of the time it's not about duplicated gears. for example I have two 3LP rings & got a double exalted prefix ring. I copy it to have a higher chance of getting the affixes I want for my ring.

Half naked VK still oneshots 900c lol. You may wanna do this to give yourself some headstart if you have the key items.

700 is the sweet spot IMO. Diminishing returns on item quality seriously kick in above that, meaning the difficulty increase is proportionally much larger than the item quality improvement.

The same starts at 300c, but it's a lesser effect.

This is why people say that if a build can clear 300c, it's fine. That's all you really need to get decent drops.

you block when you place it then can revert back to whatever you're doing. i'm not doing it with a ton of attention to favor/hour but i usually get around 70-90k an hour depending on how active i am. usually just watching something on other monitor though. the memory amber should be self sustaining. you can add a trove to it for some additional side farming but i usually don't since i'm just grinding favor and the trove takes away some due it less mobs

Yes eggs to try get lp. If it gets LP but not high enough then you would take it to the farsight turtle woven echo to either reset to 0 LP or it could become higher LP. If it removes then you just put it back into an egg and repeat but if it gets random stats there's no way to salvage that ring

Focusing Lens of Time that makes it so there's no arena, dungeon, or campaign Prophecies. And Obscuring Lens of Time that does the opposite for no monolith. Combine both and then it just does the generic prophecies, so no monolith, arena, dungeon, or campaign Prophecies. Just generic targets like "boss" instead of a particular boss.

I just find out about lens combo works wonder: Reduce chance to have Monolith events + Reduce chance to have event that are not Monolith

I'd say cof falls off on second characters more than anything. MG you just use gold to buy everything your character needs. CoF you have to farm for which is near impossible because off-class stuff is so rare.

There is no strategy. I mean you can do things like nemesis woven echo to farm items to imprint, but I think end game as a whole has no special farming strategy. MG is better for on-demand yes - which is why I said it's better for making new characters in. I'm not a fanboi for cof. Quite the opposite. But trade has been butchered so much I feel cof is the only option for me. Before 1.2, it was without a doubt that CoF was better for exalted items because there was no crafting you can do to change the exalted mods. There was literally 0 supply for certain t7's in 1.0 MG because they were that rare and instantly bought out when listed. Any improvement made in 1.2 that improved this for MG also improved it for CoF. I get the sentiment that MG is better because if you already have the gold you can instantly get what you want. CoF is going to require you to play for it if it is a new addition to your filter. But if it had always been on your filter then you would likely have multiple copies already - not counting off-class stuff.

I've already fully min-maxed my build this season.

Pre 1.2 an item didn't even exist on all of trade. CoF didn't guarantee that item, but it gave higher chance because it didn't even exist in the first place.

Any improvements I could get from trade come in the form of higher lp uniques.

The problem with MG and it will always be the problem is builds come online super fast so all the mega blasters are done before prices get inflated. Most MG users are using a copy pasta item filter and have minimal knowledge on how crafting can change an item. So when they go to the bazaar they do not know how to filter and search correctly.

Maybe new runes made exalted items better in MG overall, but I think without a doubt if you can't get a specific T6/T7 mod on a specific base in trade, then that automatically means the mode with better drop rates is going to be the better option. But as I see MG, you can go in, get your Four-Leaf Clover Exalted Item relatively easy - if you just play the game..
As you in MG have thousands of 1x1 square meter fields, where you maybe have a clover popping up with them four leafs..

Meanwhile in CoF, you can't buy it, but your farming method relies on that you have a larger field to plant your clover seeds in.. It just doesn't guarantee to be a four-leaf clover, but it certainly helps on the odds..

Naturally you can't compare that 1:1 - And you do have extra tools at your disposal such as Rune of Havoc and Rune of Redemption to help you switch the stats around and such - which is more favourable in CoF..

But at the end of the day, CoF is still gambling, but with the odds in your favor.. Meanwhile MG you will eventually be guaranteed a result, as its a matter of just farming enough gold to get your item..

Lenses are kind of upgrades for the said telescopes. You can slot up to 3 lenses per telescope and each lenses provide different bonuses.

Advanced strategies for CoF involves utilizing the best lenses to get double reward, block prophecy locations, etc.

The nice thing about 1 LP gear is that you can imprint, get duplicate uniques, use nemesis on 0 LP and use bad rolls as sacrifice to reroll the base stats on your original 1 LP

Or you can just get lucky and get better gear

Been trying a Sepulcher of the Lost strategy to farm imprinted drops as an alternative to the Unclaimed Cove Strat but it feels a bit meh and is rough on amber costs

1500 per sepulcher. And while I’m just burning excess woven keys to fully cap out on six rewards, you don’t sustain more map drops than what you spend

Do a cemetery, place a woven beacon and two sepulchers branching off, place a random cheap/surplus echo in between the two because that slot won’t get a naturally generated echo.

If there are still spaces after completing the woven beacon and you can’t get six rewards, you need to run another cemetery and fill in the space. This is how I’ve been doing it

Just want to find any alternative to a Strat involving false temples after running 100 folly/false temples already

But for each “setup” is 1x woven beacon, 2x sepulcher, 1x surplus woven echo. So 3700 amber minimum per setup not including surplus costs.
If you include surplus and having to add extra echoes you are approaching 5k Amber per beacon cluster. You get a little bit back running the sepulchers but not over-sustaining like in the 3x false temples 2x trove setup

1lp red rings isnt really a problem and in this season u can farm 200k/h, heard some people even farmed 250k/h

so thats at least 2ce more efficient than in season 1

and garanteed slam, so that means you only need to get 2 red rings with 1 lp

and then u can even reroll rolls with 0lp rr that u got if u put those in nemesis

so for quick math if you are smart casual and farm 150k/h you need 6h for avarage 1lp, with bad rng make it 18h, so for 2 rings on not medium farm speed its 36h of farming

and thats with bad rng

and for 2-3lp stuff, turtle is a huge help,for example i was farming 3lp heirlooms and vipertails and its so easy with prophecies+turtle rerolling all 1-2lp

the fastest start that i heard of is porting out of woven echo with 10+rune prisons(i forgot how the echo called) u fully specc woven tree into density+mages+champions, kill all mages and champs port out and run again, just dont press the central crafting device. I personally didnt test it but people said its more f/h than shrine farm, if u dont wanna do that u can speedfarm troves+shrines+folley strat, its on frozen sentinel channel or just shrines+folley

spec into spiderling packs+dungeon mobs+all champion+density, those are probably most important nodes and tomes/favor cache

i start season with MG. Specifically, Bleed hammerdin. I have like 1.4b after 1 week of playing like 3-4hrs a day. And stashed high quality exalteds, uniques, legendaries... (specifically, ESVK items. So I dont sell everything)

After maxing MG (you dont even need to max, just the one that allows you to buy LP accessories). I then switched to CoF with a billion gold, hundred stash tabs, and used my ESVK items I have dropped organically. Was able to max CoF in like 2-3 days. (ESVK 1 shots 900 corruption even with 0/1 LP of his uniques : / )

I switch to CoF after 1-2 weeks of playing since T7s and meta items by that time now costs a billion gold.

I run the lenses of 2x uses / 2x rewards / flex item type. I look for rare enemies, commanders, boss kills, nemesis, and exile mage. I normally head to the observatory around 450k favor (lots of rerolling) and leave when I have all prophecy slots filled.

• for Western i focus on generic All Glyphs and All Runes
• then usually for Armor or Weapons or Jewelry i have a specific 2LP or 3LP item that needs an Exalt to slam into it, so I reroll for belts/amulets/etc

The All Monolith/No Monolith combo makes it so you only get generic objectives (Kill Boss, Nemesis, Exiled Mage, Siege Golems, Diamond Matrons, etc)

Yes, it's okay, I run like this too.

But keep in mind that this combo will skyrocket prices for prophecies, so if you are playing on corruption levels below 350-400, you will have considerable time gaps between prophecies (as you will generate less favor)

On corruption levels below 400 I usually run Monolith - Double rewards - Reward type (exalted / gloves / etc).

While you get smaller portions of loot, you will get them sooner than if you were running double quantity prophecies (due to prices)

Just FYI for COF enjoyers using my spreadsheet, I fixed a bug with the sheet that had multiple of the same regional lens as multiplicative instead of additive, and also not doing math correctly with the new non-monolith blocker lens. If you have an older copy, might want to make a new one

Rush to edge, place confluence of oblivion, profit. It's faster if you run in lowish corruption since the Shades' drops account for what the corruption becomes after completing that Shade echo. It isn't super hard to get imo, particularly with addition of confluence (high LP is a struggle regardless of course).

It rerolls the LP on the item like a fresh drop, but with a pretty steep penalty. If it does not roll higher than its current LP it is set to 0.
Basically the turtle is intended to reset your LP items so you can egg them, but with a small chance to 'crit' and add LP instead.

I think frozensentinel explained that it is more reroll efficient, and you can get those generic events more often (kill nemesis, rare enemies, champions, boss). These generic events are easy to clear. There are still less desired void horror and siege golem event iirc

You need to know what procced in that moment, there is no direct indicator. But f.e. if a white mob has suddenly a red ring and a few cof tagged rings along, you can tell for sure that was an imprint. While on the other hand if you have a certain prophecy, fulfill the trigger and a bunch of unique rings drop, you can tell this was the prophecy.

But it is independent systems, not supporting or affecting each other

Sad you can't post screenshots here, I have a good example. Just dropped a RR out of a prophecy as we are speaking, while killing some mobs.

As there is only 1 non-unique ring around, and that one not even cof tagged, I can tell for sure in this case that is was from the prophecy, not from the imprint

but imprinting definitely helped otherwise I would have seen more red rings in the first 10 hours rather than the 2nd set of 10 hours after i imprinted (just an example)

i also had 1 drop after completing an echo

the echo reward one is the imprint for sure

But honestly, if you run a full board of rings I have seen everything between 0 and 8 red rings in the past. The sample size is very small and if there was a hiffen mechanic pushing that chance, you would need to track thousands of prophecies.

My logic is like this

Before Imprint:
Prophecy drops 100 rings, red ring has 1% chance to drop

After Imprint:
Prophecy drops 100 rings, now chance has gone upto 2% due to imprint

Basically, imprint is trying to influence the roll table of each ring that is dropping in some sense

Using both to achieve your goals: Great. But they don't influence each other at all. At least there is NO HINT at all they would do so

No, once it has red affix on it, they are permanent. You can use them to reroll other uniques/legendaries at the sacrifice altar though (2 affixes = 2 LP, etc.)

Basically just when you have a good unique with bad rolls, you can use the sacrifice altar in a certain woven echo (gauntlet of strife?) and sacrifice a unique or legendary with more or equal LP/number of affixes to reroll

You put in there two items of the same unique and LP/slammed stats. The one on the left side gets sacrificed forever, and it rerolls everything that has a range on the item in the right side. If the item in the right side is a legendary item, it will also reroll the stats you put in there yourself, within their own tier (t7 will still be t7)

No, rerolling only changes the values within their tiers. Often times you use the bricked egg ones as sacrifice. For example, you have a 1 LP RR with bad rolls and a bricked RR with +1 dex - you can sacrifice the +1 dex RR to reroll your 1 LP RR and hopefully get better rolls on it

There's no tree to fill up for CoF, are you looking at the Weaver tree? There are certain things that are really good for Weaver, but mostly just go for the things you need (imprints are really popular except for warlord's riches, for example).

After taking a prophecy to defeat Diamond Matron, go to Inner Temple, node located just to the east and slightly south of the Observatory.

Once in combat zone, simply go 'back' down in an L shape to exit to the previous map, which is the Temple Rooftops. But by going backwards to it, you skip having to fight through the entire map, and are at the end of it, with a single Diamond Matron waiting for you.

You can even kill her, go back through the door and repeat as often as you like, racking up multiple Diamond Matrons in moments.

It depends on your build, usually it's just the highest you can run without being slowed down (much). The diminishing returns haven't changed, so it's similar to before.
