d4 did a lot of things very very well the only issue with d4 is they didn't have a fun game play loop in the end game

I do like the feeling that I am earning my gear with COF. I finally landed a 2LP slam with the affixes I wanted, it did take several attempts with a lot of failures, but just like everything in life if you hit your head against a wall enough you’ll start seeing results.

It’s hard finding a balance, considering how EHG has revolutionized the entire genre with MG and COF. Things take time, the hype train for 1.1 hasn’t even started yet, but I’m sure things will improve

According to Karv "We currently have a bug (as noted in patch notes) which caused us to disable the option to disable those challenges on characters you've created, but once re-enable a Solo Character Found character (solo cf) can disable the CF challenge and become Solo Account Found character (solo af), but lose their stash in the process. It now has access to shared progress from previous AF characters." That was 2 mo. ago. My SCF pure offline character has the option to convert to SAF.

There is no drop rate difference between Online, Solo Account Found, and Solo Character Found. Just visibility on stash, social features, and some visual changes to tooltips.

Yep. Basically same as bossess. Meaning the rate for last steps to drop for example, is not going to increase with corruption. But if they do drop, higher corruption means higher chance at rolling LP

For arena, the drop table is determined by the the specific arena master you fight and each drop arena master's drop table has 1 item. For dungeon bosses, the tier determines which the number of drop tables, each with 1 item that can be rolled for. You could get all items available on a single kill. For monolith bosses, there is a guaranteed item table (two items with 50% chance each) and individual drop tables for the remaining items, some being accessible in empowered monos only.
The patch notes only said 5/10/14 for 100/300/600. Maybe you are thinking of the conversation where we were extrapolating higher values? I had mentioned I thought the pattern was 5/10/14/17/19/20 for 100/300/600/1000/1500/2100

I'm looking at FrozenSentinel's ascendance data on rings and it's about a 25% 1+ LP hit rate from Ascendance. u/decho on reddit had a 251 ring test and had a 22% 1+ LP hit rate. My 1000 ascended ring test had a 20.4% 1+ LP hit rate. Look at the prophecy drop data for rings, 82% of my 840 ring test were 1+ LP. FrozenSentinel had about 82% as well (297 ring test at 100c).
the only thing I can think of was that he was responding to the literal question, in which the LP chance doesn't change. The game does a roll to determine whether to actually roll the property and if that roll succeeds (1/3 chance), then proceeds to roll the LP as if it were like any lvl 100 0 corruption drop

You should be spending favor whenever you get the chance until you hit 10. Rank 10 duplicates rewards. Rank 9 unlocks the 3rd lens slot. Rank 8 unlocks double rewards lens. Rank 7 unlocks double use lens.

750 xp = 1 favor. 1 favor = 4 rep, 2 rep when you earn that favor, 2 rep when you spend that favor.
All spending counts for rep. You can buy lenses, buy prophecies, reroll constellations, or gamble for items.

doesn't really matter. Once you maximize the experience gains from XP tomes (caps at area & character level 95+), that's going to be the source of more than half of your favor gains for awhile. XP/favor from monster kills really doesn't outscale tomes until around 200+ corruption

It has a 10% more damage multi on a ring slot. A few other things that could synergize with your build too, maybe freeze rate stuff. But that alone isn't bad. Getting 2LP or more is very hard though

ur almost certainly better off doing tome runs, but I'm not sure. There are other caveats to this strat like no random drops, but my mindset is that favor is king and maximizing that is best.

so the best strategy till late corruption is doing monolith tome runs
I believe so, and again I'm unsure when XP scaling from corruption will outweigh it. I also need to do more extensive testing, but I'm 99.99% sure I get more from arena echoes than I would from tome runs at 2.5k.
Tomes give me roughly 450 favor each, so I'd gain around 1300-1400 per Tome Reward, need to spend time in temple resetting, less consistent density, random objectives, random Tome spawn RNG, etc.
ur basically eliminating most uncontrollable variables and achieving maximum consistency by grinding arena echoes
Another factor is that being able to fix x3 deadly/enrage (120% XP bonus) is more valuable (relative to current corruption), the lower you are
+120% on top of 500-1000% is much more valuable than +120% on top of 3000%... So, there's likely a sweet spot where u actually get maximum value by fixing the modifiers for +120%

but that telescope has a lot of stuff in it
so if you're target farming catalysts, you're better off using the catalyst lense along with wealth and rhyme (the 90% and 80% ones that you're using)
most of my build is legendarys and besides ladle all can be found in prophecys so thats why i went with the generic unique one
I use the generic unique one in almost every other telescope
but like you, I also use ladle
and in that telescope, that means there's nothing else except catalysts (for us)
so you're better off with the catalyst lense.

NGL, it's really annoying how Void Horrors from the Beacon timelines don't ever get accounted for when trying to clear Void Horror prophecies. Up to some extent, I get that they come in droves when activating a beacon, but where else am I supposed to find them? Especially when I have prophecies that specify I need to run monoliths for them to count?
And honestly, I would like the void horrors from beacon timelines to be included in the prophecy count even if it meant that I have to kill 6 of them instead of 2 per progress count.

Tunk labs beastiary is really useful for this but I don't grab void horrors personally
The two optional quest echoes in The Last Ruin have at least 1 void horror per run in each of them. It's up to you on which one you want to do. For the first quest echo (The Defiled Wood), just run around the entire area once and snipe the void horrors if you see them. Back in 1.0.4, it was usually one, up to three. Ignore the objectives (never kill the monster back at the camp) so you can repeat the quest echo as much as you want. For the second quest echo (The Voidscarred Archive), there are usually two on the path to the first objective. The first can be found in a room where it circular paths in, the second can be found patrolling the top of the steps to the boss. You can kill the first objective if you want, but do not bother with the arena event on the follow-up objective (which also completes the echo and didn't spawn horrors).
there are both necrotic and fire siege golems in bastion. I think the fire ones are called Fire Golems instead of Siege Golems.
Void Horror, Immortal Eye, and Giant Scorpion prophecies are also monolith only events. Siege Golems, Diamond Matrons are the two rare monsters that are not tied to specific activities.

so just run past everything
u hit normal mono around 35. only do the right side of the mono and then all 3 lvl 90s and you're in empowered
around lvl 70 by the end

The time between finding 2LP uniques for my build is annoying. 3LP's are a myth for me as a torment lock too. I brick a 2lp slam on something i dont see another one of those 2LP items for a couple days at least

The further you go you get more stability and more cor. Idk what the sweet spot is. I usually go for a 9-12. If you really stack up gaze it's risky because you might die.
Drop on the ground. If it's lower then level 50 and 1lp ditch it

if you die but dots or whatever kills it, the proph doesnt proc (which is good coz you can't pickup your stuff). if you aren't there (other julra realm), game thinks you are dead so it doesn't proc

If my CoF is level 10 and I change to MG, what happens, I become MG with level 1?
A character that switches from CoF to MG will result in the following:
- CoF favor in the game mode resets to 0. This will affect any other characters in the same game mode since favor is shared.
- CoF rep/rank remain unchanged. If you have no other characters in CoF and later decide to return, your rep will still be Rank 10.

so every bonus you get form CoF is a multiplier. Think of the drop rate of medium-high corruption (200+) as a base number. if you're multiplying something to 1, then the result will be lower than by multiplying the same number to 10

I would suggest to only do dungeons if you like them (the most important part), or you need the drops. the money you spend on lightless arbor will be needed for stash tabs. a CoF player deep into the cycle can get to the point where they're buying stash tabs for 200k to 300k a pop.

Through this, if you don't know what you're going for or are still targeting a bunch of stuff, your lens will probably be double tires, double rewards, and no dungeons

if the target is a specific monolith, its usually the boss of that monolith. same with arena bosses. dungeons will usually ask you to hunt rares, and story bosses, you could probably just search them up.

What I’ve noticed is
Void Horrors from beacons do not progress prophecy events. Void Horrors from the void gate do.
It’s somewhat randomized what enemies you’ll get during a mono
As when I mono test a character, I run the same node to ensure not wasting any extra rewards
and the enemies will cycle to a different set when I come right back
But this is also true, I’ve noticed scorpions randomizing into scorpions more often than it switching constantly
definitely a defense issue then. you want in order, capped resistances, capped crit strike avoidance, capped endurance, 2k-4k health, 50%ish armor, then good ward.
though the health and ward are interchangeable if you're going low life

I think if you have really favorable mob spawns (lots of rare enemies, good density, relatively easy to kill) it can be worthwhile to blast the enemies for longer than the usual objective rush
but the echo rewards usually wouldn't benefit much from rarity anyway, typically... makes me wonder if corruption scales their LP chance at all

This is what I was trying to explain to people, while corruption does increase the chance for LP, you have to understand that if an item has a 4LP potential of 1 in a trillion, increasing it by 15% will still make it a 1 in a trillion item

sorry misunderstood. so soul gamblers and third eye are there to gain ward on crits, which is why i have crit chance everywhere. soul gamblers gives crit debuff, so with that debuff i still have 87% crit chance

Your lenses look good, rank 10 will help as it doubles your rewards. So when the item drops that you want with LP you’ll have 2 of them. Unfortunately it’s hard for COF to have access to high LP items. Just keep on grinding and hope for the drop you want or a patch to buff COF
CoF seems like more fun but its hard to justify going this route when you have literally anything you want available in MG. It's just so expensive.

FS is hitting 57% mitigation with armor thats pretty big over yours
when I was having trouble with bosses, I put on some critical strike avoidance and it helped a lot

Is the reward from the COF a minimum bar?
What I mean is I've bought a couple Weaver's Will rewards (16 WW), but I've been dropping 17's, 18's, etc. while progressing the prophecy.
And if so, does that mean that the LP rewards from COF are worth buying even if their price is astronomical for a better chance at LP2+? Or should I just keep going for "value" and shoot wide with multiple unique rewards instead?

correct, so how lp works is the base item drops it does an internal roll to determine if it gets 1lp and if it succeeds it does another roll to determine if it gets 2 lp so on and so forth so all it does is skip that first roll
there not worth buying however due to the amount you spend vs how many items you get isn't worth it
lp rarity is the thing to consider how important skipping that first roll is in the item you're trying to farm and there aren't any items that justify that cost.

Is there a way to gain more favor?
ive been interested in game testing it lately. builds like mine don't need timeline boss loot so im able to look for better farms
only 15min tests of just killing stuff and resetting before finishing the mono
trying to find ones that are consistently higher favor
if i just timeline like normal i feel like 70k/hr is about what id get at 879

if you can't push your cor higher you could try doing some reset farming
i wanted to kill only crabs but the enemies/obj change when u reset
the crab maps have a ton of enemies
I thought that blessing was for character level xp only.. Lol
Now I gotta go to that timeline to get that blessing.

favor gain is based on your xp gain
I want to test a few more maps and solo arena. I think with how kills force spawns in arena you could really get some crazy favor on the right map with 4 players.
I need to test if you do get favor from kills at the other spawn pts. That could make or break it.
Only 2 or 3 arena maps are small
With 4 DA marks on each spawn point the explosions would kill whole packs as soon as they spawned. I think it's possible to hyper spawn them to get 500k favor/hr 1k cor
It might be so crazy that it's hard to not complete it
i just tested to see how much favor i got from 1 arena. 3,178. hyperspawning would have to make each run 30s to hit 381k favor/hr. with loading and getting back in position i doubt you could do better than 1m per arena. 190k favor/hr which is better than anything else ive tried but not as much as i was hoping

i actually dont know if the xp changes.
the concept of hyperspawning is the amount of time it takes to clear arena scales with ttk
for 30s runs you would have to kill the arena in about 10-15sec
DA marks might be able to pull that off since the ttk is so good
1DA should kill a non-elite pack. probably only a few to kill elites
still good to know that arena farming could potential be very viable
for farming favor
ive tried to get people to test it and never find anyone so i dont know how viable it can be. maybe more so when the season is fresh. people might actually look for it if it's proven to be really strong.
one thing ive noticed is the maps tend to load much faster if you keep repeating it
4 geared DA marks could do it at 2k even. really see some crazy favor/hr

in wow for the aq40 gates we camped hyperspawns. you could put 3 rogues on every point and each auto attack killed something
at those speeds its pretty crazy to see. can't find anything on youtube showing it.
