the way the game works with its filters is what makes this difficult

Say you are willing to get all types of resists, attributes, melee crit nodes and life. you want at least 2 of these to show up.
what filter will show you is:

-double res and two dead affixes
-life + res + dead affixes
-crit + life + dead affixes
-wrong base (if you don't specify) res + crit

This is all nearly worthless, with some exceptions. but you will read each of them and waste time

imo it's still better to just search by affix in order to narrow the field, then simply visually confirm the base(since each base item has a unique design) as you scroll down, which would be much faster than most any other type of searching you can do. both affix and base matter, but when searching affix is what you wanna sort if by because base can be determined on sight in a split second just glancing over the list

Also try to add 1 major/crucial prefix T6/T7 and seal the other prefix at T2/T3 and leave the spot open so the people purchasing can have the choice to add their desired prefix

if you want to make a filter, then just make a huge general filter, include all affixes but make it so that only T7's show that color. since exalteds all have T6 of some sort, most of the are still useless, but T7's are useful regardless.

im not that hard of a grinder but if it didnt opt in for SAF by accident I'd be flipping the market by now. is pretty simple, just separate your own class loot filter colors from the others, and forge them to make it desirable for selling at a decent price. T7 exalteds that have decent affixes should go for 1m atleast im guessing

Exalted rolls prob won't be worth anything if the base and other affixes aren't good in conjunction. That's just my opinion. Crafting legendaries aren't guaranteed to take the exalted affix, so it's worth having exalted items with good affixes in general. That's what I usually pick up and list

@icy marsh I just recolor T7s so I know when a T6 drops I don't alt to check for T7, and I quickly scan mods to see if it has crafting potential. I only pick up if I think I can craft quickly + sell. (quick example is T6 movement speed boots with open prefix suffix, I know that at most I only need to rune of removal 1-2 mods and craft meta mods and sell for profit)

I think the idea is to progress. I.e., go from 0 LP uniques, to exalted, etc. as natural stepping stones. But it doesn't work that way in reality. people are just farming rep to skip the item progression

The real issue with trade is there isn't enough supply for a lot of items. And unfortunately, even basic T6 exalted on a specific base had no supply. I was looking for T6 helm and body mage exalted. And the mod literally didn't exist on trade. And only 3 existed but on the wrong base. That was when I decided to move to CoF.

But MG will remain really good for making legendaries. Since the base of the exalt doesn't matter for that, the market is a lot larger.

It's an issue, as for solving it there is probably multiple ways without having to change drop rates. 1 would take community effort of maintaining a filter of good items for multiple builds. All I know is that trade was halting my progress and I had better chance to progress in CoF. Which I did. I found the armor I needed before reaching rank 5.

@small needle Unless you are farming 2k+ corruption, 200k is worth the effort. And btw, when you search for T6, it shows T7 mods as well. Meaning there was no supply of T6 or T7. And the combo I was looking for. T6 + base would be a couple million. not 200k.

There is no dopamine when you get a T7 affix (it’s a rare drop) because 1 out 1000 has value, so this is not going to be funny, even for addicted trading players like me, indeed I’m playing COF and I never touched SSF in my entire life!

If you buy a unique and it needs rank 6 then convert it to a legendary you'd still need rank 6 yes but I believe that if it's "self made" you'll need rank 9 to sell it. You can't really "profit craft" due to the no reselling rule but to trade "premade" legos you need rank 9/10

I'm just trying to free up the slot, without risking the rest of the affixes.

The one thing that bothers me about the MG the way it is, is interfacing to price check your items is really rough. Opening the inventory while a market window is open closes the thing. You gotta have the inventory open first, check your affixes, close inventory, list item, close market, repeat for next item.

The fact it's not about market and how many things are on it, the main problems is that price checking something is really hard. Playing COF requires no wasting of time, you just perma grind, when you play MG you spend a lot of time in the baazar and it's not that fun, especially when the AH is made like that

The grind it not that bad honestly. You just have to push corruption and you gain favor/rep a lot faster. You can get a good build together pretty fast with MG and get in to the 300-400 corruption levels fast with a lot of builds. You could pick one of the even more op builds and go 1000+ pretty quick too.

it feels very strange joining a faction that "just" unlocks buying gear from people when that offers zero gameplay, opposted to cof which adds a ton of new things such as propecies

One of the strats i've seen my friend use for CoF is to tune the prophecies to only be for dungeons, then he buys a ton of them and runs all three dungeons to complete them all.

It basically turns the dungeon bosses into D3 levels of loot pinatas which is nice for those dopamine hits

It's different when the market ui is not even 10% capable of what PoE's are. Can only search one affix tier at a time, can't open your inventory, every single search parameter you put in it instantly wiped upon closing the marker, the list goes on and on

Type it in the search box, You're look at "unique only" bases maybe? Most uniques share bases with other items.

Yes im in the glove merchant its a leather glove base but you can't filter for that specific glove only for all unique leather gloves which is complete garbage

but everything else so far they knocked out of the park with this game. Having the market in game is great but not like this, they completely left it last minute and couldn't get it finished in time so they released as is. It's almost unusable, I get they wanna release their game as 1.0 but as it stands this is not worthy of a 1.0 number.
Just let us use an API outside of the game until you can finish developing it or something

The market will improve over time I'm sure, but you also need to remember the devs intend for it to just be a side thing for gearing, not a whole sub-game like people treat poe's market

@full ferry It's been... 8 days? Since Last Epoch finally released it's trade system. PoE had 10 years to iterate and it's still awful and inconveninet on purpose. Of course LE's trading system is not going to be perfect on the first try but I don't think it's fair to compare it with PoE yet

Poe trading ain't perfect either, been years and still no central market and have to rely on private whisper and trade. Give it a few update till server stabilize and filters come out for worthwhile items and rolls and bazaar is golden

@viral eagle it deletes searches you save, you can't open inventory while it's open or it closes and deletes everything you were just searching for, you can't search specific numbers in affixs, you can't search different affixs and tiers (e.g. t3 health and t4 mana, you have to either search t3 or t4 across the board), you can't click redeem all to receive your gold you have to click redeem one at a time and when you do it scrolls your scroll bar all the way to the top of the menu, you can't go there on other characters if you're not a high enough level, meaning you gotta swap characters to buy stuff and send to stash, there's plenty missing.

I get it will improve over time but what's wrong with mentioning what's wrong and offering feedback, it's missing a lot. It's just lame because everything else is working so great and has been though through, it feels like the market was an after thought

the entire reason they made market items untradeable is so that you can't overgamify the system. it's meant to just be a different way for people to gear themselves up, as opposed to the drop based method of circle. they're not trying to make a true market system you can "play"

Once you buy an item it becomes untradeable and gains a MG tag with requirements to wear it so you can't infinitely recycle wealth. The devs want you to play the game, not stock market simulator
