I think there should be a time limit for most commands or a gigantic command refresh like we had in 2020. Granted half of the commands we have are from departures or are irrelevant in todays server.

Unfortunately it has a lot data it needs to store as well as tasks it handles on a daily basis like creating and deleting text chats for all the games so sometimes it bugs out a bit. Our bot developer is currently working on a newer version that will be much more stable.

Hello 👋 dev here. Appreciate this is 3 weeks late but just happened to notice this.
Yes, completely agree. It is long overdue for a rewrite. It was originally written way back in 2017 and has received mostly patches over the years to keep it working, but with the many technical changes MLB and Discord have made over the years, it's definitely not fit for purpose anymore. In fact, I sort-of deprecated it from 2020 and no longer take feature requests.

There are still plans to give it a much needed overhaul and this form (https://forms.gle/7bwwniZdgLm5gKif6) is still being used to scope out the next version. So if you have any thoughts on what you'd like to see (other than it not being a piece of crap), please submit them there!

with the recent issue that the bot just had, is it possible that when the astros / twins game was suspended, the bot somehow misread the game suspension as the game being "completed", despite the game still needing to be "resolved"?
