Whenever I try and bring an Akebi definition into Anki, the new card has this message at the bottom regarding 'NotoSansJP-Regular.otf'. Anyone know a way to fix it?

Looks like a missing font. You can either in the card template/styling remove that font from being used or try to install it

# unreal kestrel Is there a way to do that in Ankidroid?

Which part?

Editing your note type/Styling/templates? Yes. It's the same.

Adding the font file to your collection? That's definitely easier on desktop.

On Android (if you have the Google Play version of the app), your collection is stored in a private app storage that you probably can't reach directly through another app. But you can try --

A. [Will definitely work, but requires access to a computer] -- Connect your device to a computer via USB cable, and allow file transfer through that connection, so you can see it like an external drive. Find /Android/data/com.ichi2.anki/files/AnkiDroid and copy your font file into the collection.media folder.

B. [Untested, but could work, and will probably be easier if it does] -- Add a "dummy" note (or edit an existing note) and attach the font file in a field using the 📎 paperclip. It's probably easiest to access all of the files on your device using "add audio clip" and then jumping to some other file storage/access (so it's not filtered to just audio files). Exactly how to do that will depend on your device and where you have the font stored currently. Once you attach it and add/save the note, it will be copied to your collection media, and you can then delete that note (or edit).
