creating a reverse deck

what's up. trying to create a reverse deck, having the toughest time ever.

i know an addon exists that does this, but it doesn't work for this deck because it's not a traditionally formatted deck (it's a language deck, and I already tried the addon).

I wish there was a button to duplicate my current deck, then I can just reverse/change the fields in the "cards" section, but it doesn't seem this exists. not sure what to do, it keeps getting stuck on the fact that when I export, then re-import, the cards have the same notes.

if so then click on manage note types, click Add

then name it whatever you want, or leave it default,

select the cards and right click, notes -> change note types

click up there and find the the name

and it should make them

What add-on? You don't need an add-on to do this at all.

I think it's very unlikely that you want to duplicate your notes. Make sure you understand the difference between cards and notes. You do this by having Anki make 2 cards -- forward and reverse -- from each of your notes.

Like basically I have 2,000 lang cards. Let's say Japanese to English atm

Front: Japanese
Back: English, Transliteration, Audio file (Japanese)

and I want to keep those original 2,000 cards, but also make 2,000 reversed cards with this format

Back: Japanese, Transliteration, Audio file (Japanese)

in your browser you can right click

and add note

and see the ones that are not reversed

u can also add card

and usually, if there is a card 1 and card 2, it means its reversed
