• temporarily: install AnkiWebView Inspector, right-click on the bottom bar, change body to black
• Advanced Review Bottom Bar's colors tab
• Custom Background Image and Gear Icon with a black image and applied to top/bottom bars
• Anki Redesign with custom colors

for some reason when i use 'custom background image and gear icon' it makes my anki laggy so i find it unpleasant to use. Idk y it does that

I don't know the add-on, but that looks like the right place, did you try ticking that master checkbox in the upper left?

❔ strange. I'd claim Enhance Main Window and Note Size lag it because they block rendering, and SIAC and Memory Mosaic don't because they lazy-load.
❌ advanced review bottom bar doesn't style the background
✅ Preferences→dark theme + anki redesign→nord theme (changing theme requires restart) + anki redesign→general→Canvas→black
