Interval of reviewing cards

I don't want the good interval to be 14 days right after I hit good twice
How do I reduce it to something like 5 or 7 days?

Are you using FSRS? Increase your desired retention to shorten all of your interval. But don't go crazy with it, just a point or 2 is probably plenty.

If you're not using FSRS yet, then that's not why it's happening now. While FSRS is objectively a better algorithm, and I think everyone should give it a try -- "use FSRS" isn't a very good answer to your question! 😅

If you are not using FSRS, then you should be able to fix this issue using the New Cards section of this webpage. https://leananki.com/best-settings/

Note that he calls them the best settings, but it's a still a personal choice. And you can have even more learning steps than he does. The first one is for Again, the others are for each time you press Good. There is no specific setting for Hard, it is calculated from the others.
