The people of Pedicularis is fond of celebrating new year in many colourful ways. As per tradition, the people of each town or city gathered at the center, old and young. In the morning, the adults setup the city or town square while all the children gather around and play with each other from many games varying from hide and seek to monster monster. All children under 18 play with no discrimination of race, age or gender. This is followed by the sacrifice of cows to enjoy later in the day. In the evening, they enjoy the unique pleasures their cities offer whether it be mountain climbing in mountaneous regions or swimming in areas where there is an aevident water body. They play and enjoy togeher till night falls. When the sky is a deep black colour, they enjoy many local foods and laugh under the stars. They exchange gift with each other and develop relationships and bonds. Everyone is lively and there is a lot of colour. The day ends with music and fireworks as people oohs and aahs at the amazing firework display
