But the code is really old (TheoTown started developing in 2003) and there are only two devs working on this game so its definitely nit gonna happen for the forseeable future

wouldnt just allowing buildings of any type have any tag work?
like a mixed use res/com that is mostly residential could be residential type, but you can still add the workers tag to it

I mean a developer is in charge of a game so if they want to rewrite the game they could but seeing as that there are only two developers (with one being ghost silent for months) the chance of that happening are slim to none cuz thats a lot of work
Actually none because there are only two devs but if there were like 15 or 20 then maybe but I don't see the game getting extra devs (even the forums said they are not soliciting applications)
