Welcome Arch

The Philippines has tons of ways to notify that you entered a Town, One of these are Welcome Arches(Examples are The Isabela-Kalinga Arch or the Nueva Vizcaya and Nueva Ecija Arch in Dalton Pass, there are tons of examples really)

The Plugin that i suggested would be Categorized by 3 based on the Islands of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, And Subcategories by region then Province, This should have a seperate like it's located on the general which the title Phil Arch and this can be used both as a Fence for some and Also a Road Decoration as some are in one sides and some are in an Arch, in addition these are located on the boundaries of other place like a town and a city

this suggestion is the one I will make (No photos)

1 They should add districts, meaning you can select an area. I know there are labels, but come on guys, it doesn't look that good.

2 Also in the same part where you select a district there is a section of laws, of any type, such as: traffic laws, housing laws (that is, what level of housing there can be) etc.

I know it's hard to do, it's just a suggestion xd e, if ANYONE wants to do it, they can take into account the Cities Skylines game xd

Hello, I had an idea for a number of suggestions for the trains.

  • A Santa Fe Super Chief.
  • A Union Pacific Diesel Engine.
  • A D51 Japanese Steam Locomotive.
  • A Black 5 Steam Engine.
  • A Union Pacific Big Boy Locomotive.
  • A UK InterCity 125.
  • A NYC Subway Train.

I was also wondering if it would be possible to add different types of signals from the UK and USA along with turntables and roundhouse.

I was also thinking, maybe for fun, what about characters from Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends? To serve as a tribute to Britt Allcroft who recently passed away.

Characters would be:

  • Thomas
  • Edward
  • Henry
  • Gordon
  • James
  • Percy
  • Toby
  • Duck
  • Donald
  • Douglas
  • Oliver
  • Emily
  • BoCo
  • Diesel
  • Mavis
  • Daisy
  • Bertie
  • Bulgy
  • Terrace
  • Cranky
  • Annie & Clarabelle
  • Troublesome Trucks
  • Henrietta
  • Toad

And maybe locations such as:

  • Tidmouth Sheds
  • Tidmouth Station
  • Knapford
  • Ffarquhar
  • Vicarstown
  • Elsbridge
  • Brendam Docks
  • Dryaw

So, what do you think?

Hey, everyone, I had an idea for a plug-in.

A Quarry Plug-in.

Here's what I made using construction vehicles, rocks, chain link fences and industrial decorations.

I was thinking maybe it could spawn Quarry Vehicles like Dump Trucks and even feature Quarry Themed Vehicles.

I was also thinking maybe it could include special train platforms that spawn freight trains with Hopper Cars full of stone.

Maybe the Quarry should include working animated vehicles like Backhoes, Dump Trucks, Excavators, Drilling Machines, Bulldozers, Front Loaders.

The Quarry could even explosions from blastings.

I was also thinking that there should be Quarry Decorations like what I described in terms of vehicles, blastings, caravans, etc.

Rear-front Memorial

The Rear-front Memorial (Russian: Памятник «Тыл — фронту») is a bronze and granite monument located in the city of Magnitogorsk, Russia, sculpted by Lev Golovnitsky and drawn by Yakov Belopolsky. It is considered the first part of a triptych, that tells the story of the «Victory Sword»: the Sword, forged by the metallurgists of Magnitogorsk, was then raised by the Motherland in Stalingrad and lowered after the Victory in Berlin. This monument was unveiled in 1979. By the time of construction of the monument, the creator of the other two monuments, Yevgeny Vuchetich, had already died.

The monument is composed of a worker and a warrior. The worker is oriented to the east, towards the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works. The warrior is facing the west, to the side of the "Great Patriotic War". The three monuments are made to symbolize the sword being forged in Magnitogorsk, raised in The Motherland Calls in Volgograd (then Stalingrad) and finally dropped to the ground after the victory in Berlin as a part of Warrior Liberator. The composition also includes a stone flower made from Karelian granite with an eternal flame.

On May 6, 2022 the Bank of Russia issued a commemorative coin made of base metal with a nominal value of 10 rubles "Magnitogorsk". The series "Cities of labor valor" (Russian: «Города трудовой доблести»).

It was designed in 1891 by the Czech architect Karel Pařík, but criticisms by the minister, Baron Béni Kállay, caused him to stop working on the project. It was initially the largest and most representative building of the Austro-Hungarian period in Sarajevo and served as the city hall

The building was reopened on 9 May 2014. It is the current seat and headquarters of the Mayor of Sarajevo, as well as the Sarajevo City Council.

In the early 1960s, initiatives in honor of the battle were conceived, one of the main authors of which was the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Armenia Yakov Zarobyan, who pointed to an interest in perpetuating historical events in the Armenian diaspora. In 1964, Zarobyan's report was sent to the Central Committee of the CPSU (Communist Party
of the Soviet Union) , after which Moscow gave its consent for the project. In 1966, a change in the leadership of Soviet Armenia took place, during which Zarobyan was replaced by Anton Kochinyan, under whom, the construction of the memorial was carried out. In 1968 during the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Sardarapat that took place on May 22–26, 1918 a memorial park was laid out on the spot of the battlefield. In 1969, the Sardarapat Memorial Complex was nominated for the USSR State Prize. In the early 1980s, the leaders of the Armenian SSR, the Georgian SSR and the Azerbaijan SSR (Karen Demirchyan, Eduard Shevardnadze and Heydar Aliyev respectively) visited the memorial complex as part of the session of the Military Council of the Transcaucasian Military District. The presence of Azerbaijan's Aliyev at the memorial is notable in that it marked the only time an Azeri leader paid respects to Armenia's war dead.

Basically a Plug-in Pack (several plug-ins) that turn TheoTown into basically SimCity 4. I don't know how it would work in practice, but in short there would have plug-ins that make TheoTown to get SimCity 4-ish graphics, as well as you to get your own citizens (sims), dynamic traffic, building sets, and so on. I mean, we need a updated version of SimCity 4, and I think this Plug-in Pack about SC4 would make theotown more interesting.

Together with Plug-ins that add different kinds of cities on TheoTown (like in Designer City) like a Big City, a Middle City, a Small City, a Steampunk City, a Futuristic City, a Middle Ages City, an Ancient/Classical Ages City, an Aquatic City, a Lunar City, a Martian City, a Post-Apocalyptic City, and so on. I think it's time for TheoTown to get such kind of plug-ins, because the game needs more different stuff, it's already years and years of the same kind of buildings and scenarios on TheoTown.

Hey, everyone, I've had an awesome idea for a Plugin Pack:

THE SIMPSONS PLUGIN PACK
Recently I've been watching gameplay for The Simpsons Hit & Run and even though I'm not a Simpsons fan anymore, it was a good game.

Anyway, I was thinking, maybe TheoTown could include a Plugin Pack with many of the iconic locations from The Simpsons so fans can create their own Springfield Map or maybe recreate the Map Layouts from Hit & Run, Road Rage or the Fan-Made Map here: https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fexternal-preview.redd.it%2Fqj0BJ3NxV4E856qCcbmu5jsxnEGzsFCgnibiin7YPDg.jpg%3Fauto%3Dwebp%26s%3Ddcaa09689f71c6719ede891e3b81e38e93836dc0&rdt=64730.

Candidates for the Locations and Buildings I had are found here in the games The Simpsons Road Rage and The Simpsons: Hit & Run as I couldn't fit them all here. 😄
https://simpsons.fandom.com/wiki/Category:The_Simpsons_Road_Rage_Locations
https://simpsonswiki.com/wiki/Category:The_Simpsons:_Hit_%26_Run_locations

But notable ones include:

  • The Simpson House
  • The Flandersers House
  • Elementry School
  • First Church of Springfield
  • Power Plant
  • Burns Manor
  • Aztec Theatre
  • Barney's Bowl-A-Rama
  • Moe's
  • King Toots Music Store
  • Springfield Mall
  • Jedidiah Springfield Statue
  • Town Hall
  • Courthouse
  • Springfield Stadium
  • Android's Dungeon
  • Wall-E-Weasel's
  • Burns Casino
  • The Observatory
  • Kamp Krusty
  • Springfield Dam
  • Krustylu Studios
  • KBBL Radio
  • Krusty Burger
  • Lard Lad Donuts
  • Fiesta Terrace
  • Tire Fire
  • Kwik-E-Mart
  • Museum
  • Duff Brewery
  • E.A.R.L. Lighthouse
  • Springfield Sign

  • Sit-N-Rotate
  • Popsicle Skyscraper
  • 50 Foot Magnifying Glass
  • Escalator to Nowhere
  • Monorail Station
  • Springfield Hospital
  • Singing Sirloin
  • World's Largest Toilet

And maybe some other locations from the show like:

  • Mount Splashmore
  • Krustyland
  • Enriched Learning Center for Gifted Children
  • Bob's RV Round-Up
  • Spruce Caboose
  • Alien Spaceship

What do you guys think?

So basically a Plug-in / Plug-in Pack named "Theotown 1999", that basically tries to simulate what would TheoTown look like if it was released in 1999. In short kinda mixing with other 1990s City Building games like SimCity 2000 and SimCity 3000 (which TheoTown are inspired in).
As well as "TheoTown 2009" plug-in that simulates what if TheoTown was released in 2009, inspired on SC4, SCS etc.
As well as, why not, a "TheoTown 1989", that would simulate what if TheoTown was released back in 1989.
And about copyright, game mechanics themselve are not subject to copyright iirc. Those wouldn't be breaking any of Electronic Arts' etc patents and own the usage rights for all assets in EE etc.
But the thing is that those Plug-in Packs about TheoTown 1989, TheoTown 1999 and TheoTown 2009 would require a lot of work.

Tam Quan Gate (Vietnam)

Tam Quan Gate is an architectural work built across Nguyen Trung Truc Street at the intersection of Nguyen Trung Truc - Lac Hong in Rach Gia City, Kien Giang Province. The gate dates back to the French colonial period.

The building is designed in traditional Vietnamese style with three arched doors (tam quan). Previously, Tam Quan gate was built as a village gate when entering Rach Gia from the districts. At that time, Rach Gia was not yet an independent administrative unit but still belonged to Chau Thanh district. Today, the Tam Quan Gate in Rach Gia has been repainted many times and has been equipped with a lighting system for use at night.

It is necessary to distinguish the Tam Quan Gate in Rach Gia from the welcome gates in other cities of Vietnam. If the welcome gate in other cities marks the boundary when entering a city or town area and is always built at the beginning of the entrance to that urban area. But in Rach Gia, the gate is located in the city center, the gateway of this city starts from Rach Soi.

The Matriz do Santíssimo Sacramento church is an infinite treasure, both religiously and culturally, for the history of Itajaí.

On November 15, 1955, it was inaugurated and built in the neo-Gothic and Romanesque style. The church was decorated by Italian artists Emilio Sessa and Aldo Locatelli, and is considered one of the greatest artistic and cultural monuments of Itajaí, The city became famous for the Matriz church, with its neo-Gothic architecture, along with Roman arches and six towers. In total, there are 55 stained glass windows that form three series of windows, with a huge stained glass rose window at the entrance. It has become a place of faith, art and memory.

Its construction began in 1940 by the vicar Father José Locks, with the German architect Simão Gramlich, who is a reference as a builder of several churches in Santa Catarina. The vicar Monsignor Vandelino Hobbold contributed his work to the completion of the church, A total of 700,000 bricks were used in the construction, and they were organized in an area measuring 30 meters wide by 60 meters long. In other words, it was worth opening in 1955, due to the effort and dedication of everyone.

Today, Itajaí is rich and very important for the State of Santa Catarina and Brazil, with a busy port and a large industrial park.

The Carlos Renaux Textile Factory, located in Brusque, Santa Catarina, Brazil, holds a significant place in the region's industrial history. Founded on March 11, 1892, by German immigrant Carlos Renaux, in partnership with Augusto Klappoth and Paul Hoepcke, the factory began with eight manual looms installed in a warehouse. The arrival of skilled weavers from Lodz, Poland, who were of German descent, played a crucial role in establishing the textile industry in Brusque, leveraging their expertise in transforming cotton into fabric. This marked the beginning of Brusque's recognition as the "cradle of Santa Catarina's textile industry."
The factory's main complex, which became a landmark in Brusque, spans 40,000 square meters of constructed area. Specific details about the width, height, or individual building dimensions are not widely documented, but the extensive area reflects its large-scale operations. The original structures were built in the early 1890s, with expansions occurring over the decades as the company grew. By 1935, the factory operated three units, housing 294 looms and employing 649 workers, representing 22.5% of the textile workforce in Santa Catarina at the time.
Throughout its history, the factory experienced several milestones. In 1918, it became a publicly traded company, Fábrica de Tecidos Carlos Renaux S.A., with Carlos Renaux's children and in-laws as shareholders, and his son Otto Renaux as president. The company thrived during World War II, benefiting from increased demand. By the late 1940s, it installed the region's first unit capable of spinning combed yarn, and in the 1960s, it adopted synthetic resin technology to produce wrinkle-resistant cotton fabrics, At its peak in the 1990s, the factory employed 1,200 workers. However, challenges arose with the commercial opening of Brazil in the 1990s, which brought competition from imports.
My text exceeded 2000 thousand characters, but in an hour I will send the continuation 😅

# vapid heart The Carlos Renaux Textile Factory, located in Brusque, Santa Catarina, Brazil, h...

Continuation 👇

The factory struggled with outdated infrastructure, poor management, and a vertical production model that strained cash flow. A significant blow came in 2011 with the cotton crisis, tripling raw material costs. Unable to recover, the company entered judicial recovery in 2011, but ultimately declared bankruptcy in July 2013, leading to the dismissal of its remaining 230 employees.
In 2017, the factory's assets were acquired by Havan for R$37 million. The site was repurposed into the Centro Industrial Renaux, aimed at revitalizing the space for textile-related activities such as spinning, weaving, and garment production, while preserving its historical legacy. Today, the complex stands as a testament to Brusque's industrial heritage, though it no longer operates as a single textile factory.
My grandfather worked in this factory, and was once a neighbor of Luciano Hang's father, the current owner of it, I thought it was important and cool to bring the Renaux industrial complex here, besides being very cool the same within the game with its Retro Architecture, it must help a lot.
I have not found aerial or panoramic images of the complex, so if it is difficult to view it in its entirety here is a link to Google Maps

Located in the heart of Curitiba, Paraná, the Historic Building of the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR)

stands proudly at Praça Santos Andrade, 50, Centro, serving as the city’s official symbol since 1999, chosen through a popular vote. Founded on December 19, 1912, as the University of Paraná and federalized in 1950, UFPR is Brazil’s oldest university, with its iconic neoclassical building breaking ground in 1913 and inaugurated in 1915. Covering an entire city block (approximately 10,000 m²), it stretches between Praça Santos Andrade, Rua XV de Novembro, Rua Presidente Faria, and Travessa Alfredo Bufren.
Designed by military engineer Baeta de Faria, the original eclectic structure featured a five-story central block with a French-inspired cupola. Expanded in 1923–1926 to house Engineering and Dentistry, and further enlarged in 1940 (once painted pink!) and 1951–1954, it adopted its current grand neoclassical façade, symbolizing academic prestige. Today, it primarily hosts the Law School and remains a hub for graduation photos and public gatherings.

?Palácio dos Correios: São Paulo’s Eclectic Gem*

Situated in the vibrant Historic Center of São Paulo, the Palácio dos Correios graces the Anhangabaú Valley at Praça do Correio, s/n, República, near Avenida São João. Spanning 15,000 m², this architectural masterpiece, designed by the renowned Ramos de Azevedo Technical Office, was inaugurated on October 20, 1922, to house the Central Post and Telegraph Agency. It served as the administrative hub for Brazil’s postal service until the 1970s, when operations moved to Vila Leopoldina.
Crafted in an eclectic style with neoclassical influences, the building, designed by architects Domiziano Rossi and Felisberto Ranzini, features a grand façade with pigmented plaster, rhythmic openings, and a glass-and-iron marquee. Its interior boasts polished granite floors, a soaring central hall with Doric and Ionic columns, and ornate plaster ceilings. The intricate metalwork, crafted by the Liceu de Artes e Ofícios, adds to its elegance. Since 2013, it has housed the Centro Cultural Correios, offering free exhibitions across 1,280 m², alongside the São Paulo Central Agency and D. Pedro II Philatelic Agency.
Listed as a historic site in 2012 by the Department of Historical Heritage, the palace underwent major restoration in 2005, preserving its original features. Open Monday to Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM, entry is free, inviting visitors to admire its architectural splendor and cultural offerings. Estação da Luz: São Paulo’s Timeless Gateway

Nestled in the bustling Bom Retiro district of São Paulo, the Estação da Luz stands as an architectural jewel at Praça da Luz, 1, Centro. Covering approximately 7,500 m², this historic railway station, inaugurated on March 1, 1867, and rebuilt in its current form by 1901, is a vital link in the city’s history and modern transit. Designed by British architect Charles Henry Driver, it serves as a key hub for the CPTM commuter rail and Metro Line 4-Yellow.
Inspired by London’s Victorian stations, the station’s eclectic design features a striking red-brick façade, a grand clock tower, and a steel-and-glass canopy imported from England. Its majestic concourse, with ornate ironwork and soaring arches, evokes the elegance of 19th-century engineering. Palacete Tereza Toledo Lara: São Paulo’s Historic Treasure

Located in the vibrant heart of São Paulo’s Historic Center, the Palacete Tereza Toledo Lara stands at Rua Quintino Bocaiuva, 22, with façades facing Rua Direita and Rua José Bonifácio in the Sé district. Covering approximately 2,000 m², this iconic building, inaugurated in 1910, was commissioned by Conde Antônio de Toledo Lara as a tribute to his daughter, Tereza, then just seven years old. Designed by German architect Augusto Fried, it is a standout example of São Paulo’s early 20th-century architecture.
Crafted in an eclectic style blending Renaissance, Baroque, Mannerist, and Neoclassical elements, the palacete dazzles with its ornate façade adorned with masks, statues, garlands, and pinnacles. Its interior features vibrant Belgian stained-glass windows, hydraulic tile floors, and a rare pantograph elevator. With three floors plus a basement, it was built for commercial use, initially housing offices for lawyers, doctors, and dentists, and later the Rádio Record in the 1930s, earning the nickname “Esquina Musical de São Paulo” alongside music shops like Casa Bevilacqua (now Amadeus). Since 2017, it has been home to Casa de Francisca, a cozy venue for Brazilian music and cultural events.

Teatro Carlos Gomes: Blumenau’s Cultural Heartbeat

Nestled in the vibrant center of Blumenau, Santa Catarina, the Teatro Carlos Gomes shines at Rua XV de Novembro, 1181, Centro. Spanning approximately 7,000 m², this historic theater, with its origins tied to the 1860 founding of the Sociedade Teatral Blumenau, saw its current Art Déco structure’s cornerstone laid in 1935. Partially opened on July 1, 1939, and fully inaugurated on December 5, 1942, it stands as a testament to the city’s German immigrant heritage.
Designed by German architect Eugen Brunner, with plans by Franz von Knoblauch, the theater’s symmetrical façade features a semicircular fronton and eight pillars, exuding elegance. The main auditorium, seating 784, boasts a rare 12-meter rotating stage—one of only four in Brazil—and a 350 m² performance area. The complex includes two auditórios, two salões, a restaurant, and schools for music, ballet (OUT Escola de Dança), and theater (Carona Escola de Teatro). Home to the Orquestra de Câmara de Blumenau, it hosts over 500 events annually, from operas to corporate conventions.
A protected heritage site under Decree Nº 1,070 (2000), the theater underwent renovations in 2024, funded by the Lei Rouanet, preserving its classic charm while adding modern amenities like advanced videoconferencing. Open daily for events (check teatrocarlosgomes.com.br for schedules), entry varies by performance, with free access to public areas. A cultural beacon in the Vale do Itajaí, Teatro Carlos Gomes invites all to experience its rich history and artistic vibrancy.

Fórmula One - Plugin

**Formula 1 is a very famous sport outside, and a shame we only have 1 Formula 1 plugin throughout Theo Tonw, so I ask creators to make an updated 2025 or 1991 plugin.

The Formula 1 package would be very well complete, but simple to do, with some additional things, such as props and etc, so there is the list of props, and decorations

• Track, with diagonal roads
• Animated start lights
• Cars as decoration
• Sponsor walls: Pirreli, Dhl, Bwt, Lenovo, Heineken, Rolex
• Pits from all teams, and from Safety: Mclaren, Ferrari, Red Bull, Aston Martin, Rancing Bulls, Mercedes, Alpine, Haas, Sauber, Williams
• Zebras for the tracks, diagonals, as fences
• Mechanics in the box for pit
• Arrival line, and starting
• Box props, podiums, paddock, safety car, booths
• Brake plates, 200, 150, 100, 50, and DRS plate
• Stands with fans of all teams
• Televisions passing the transmissions (optional)
• Paddock behind the grid
• Decals Style, Abu Dhabi, Paul Ricard, Interlagos, Monaco,
• Marshals and cranes
• Security car ( SC )
• Automrome fences, below sponsorship, above grid**

Not sure if this is possible, but a lane management tool. Similar to the Cities Skylines mod. That way you can tell where traffic is allowed to go and prevent u-turns, as well as clogging up intersectiond with multiple lanes

-Edit: The game already registers interchanges (Since you can click them to toggle traffic lights) so adding a new UI section that once you click it, you get obviously a not so curved version of the attacted image, and if you delete them all, obviously no cars can go anywhere. But you can click one tile, and lets say its a 2 lane one way, the top lane is a left turning lane, and the bottom lane is a right turn only lane. Like each tile that has a road of sorts passing through should have this. Because like, cars doing u-turns when I place a pedestrian crossing is a lil dangerous
