In the event anyone else wants to do it :

Download DriveSync (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ttxapps.drivesync&hl=en_US&gl=US) and sync the regions folder on your phone to Google drive using the "two way" option

Download Google Drive standalone client (for Linux, https://rclone.org/ looks suitable but untested) on your computer

(For Windows)
run the following in admin command prompt
mklink /D "C:\Users\%username%\TheoTown\regions" "C:\Users\%username%\Google Drive\yoursyncedregionfolder"

(For Mac, Chromebook, Linux)
Warning : Untested, don't have either OS around at the moment

run the following command as super user
ln -s "/path/to/google drive" "/path/to/local/saves"

Everything should sync up at this point, the app by default is set to scan every hour and also detect changes as they're uploaded.

Emmm.... I think there is a problem with the CPU, I have a Ryzen 5 3400g (3.7GHz) and even me have problems with that kind of generation, the only weird thing is the game crash

hmm, I use amd athlon ii x3 3ghz, onboard, 4gb ram (lol), but the app doesn't crash until the process is complete. yeah, the app becomes not responding but after + - 2 minutes the generate process is complete. Without crash. bear_think

I would say the fact that it is now a mesh of multiple different language and nobody understand all of them is why people don't care about it now....like I speak multiple different languages but I find no reason to check out the nonenglish channel as it mostly contain languages I don't understand @clear sigil

https://tangrams.github.io/heightmapper/ go here and find your wanted location
Make sure that the colors are right, Black will become water and white will be the highest parts
Take a screenshot and change the name [example.jpg]
Put the image in your TheoTown folder, not in the subfolders
Go to the region generator and and type in the image name [example .jpg]
Enjoy your new custom region

I would recommend backing up your regions, try to make sure cleaner apps won't touch your storage folder, and try to make sure the phone always have enough space to store map data, which if not done would be some generic common cause for file lost in phone, although there could also be other reasons

You can backup your regioms by copying this region folder to either your PC or any cloud storage app (like Google Drive or Dropbox), or setup one way syncing from your device to those cloud storage

Hey guys I've stumbled on a little problem and I need some advice.
So I started a new city with normal difficulty and for some reason I keep loosing money even though it says that im making profit...and as I said the town is new and therefore still pretty small and I just can't figure out where all that money is going to. It also says on the statistics that im not loosing that much money on streets and all the other stuff, I just can't figure out where all that money is going...am I doing something wrong or is that just a bug?

If you don't have enough cells for the prisoners it has to export them

You can either add on to your prison, disable it (I think Tut said you can disable the actual prison functionality), or get rid of the plugin all together
