I think that but the mirrors are for OVF only I mean it redirects light to the focus plane and to eyepiece and flip up when shutter for sensor to capture light instead
The only difference is that it just has more distance from the Len to the sensor (like around 40mm) cuz the space for the mirror (different focal length ig)
Also yes it has a second mirror to redirect light to af sensor cuz they're using pharse detecton af it like high tech things lol more accurate focusing so result is sharper image

So I think that the mirror only does optic viewing and also helps pharse detection af so it wont affect the sensor quality much either

I noticed the focusing plane is more fragile than the mirror

Early era of dslr they don't have mirror braking lol so they just use these soft foam things to damp the mirror movement
