Context: Yesterday I had a physics test that ended at 8PM, and then Computer Architecture at 9PM as a regular online class, while we all thought that the pre-final presentation for that class was on Thursday
So, at around 8:20PM, while I was on a friend's car going trough some traffic to both arrive home early, my teacher communicates us that not only the class will be changed to be on-site, but also that the presentation will be moved to that class too. Obviously everyone was mad af on the course group chat, because ppl who were going home from Physics were already in a bus or taxi going home, and some lived too far from the campus that arriving in less than an hour was impossible, also, no team had the presentation fully ready at that point, my team agreed to just improvise the entire thing while 2 teammates finished the presentation material on the campus library.
We arrive at 8:50 PM, still halfway getting ready learning our parts for the presentation, but there is one thing, there were like 4 people waiting in the classroom for a class of about 25, the rest were stuck in traffic. At that point, everyone was fed up, so the representative of our class sends a message to the professor indicating the issue, one thing of note here too, our teacher wasnt on the campus yet, even tho the class was about to start. Our teacher finally gives in and moves the schedule... to what it has been set prior to the announcement... so now everyone in the classroom had to make it back home as quickly as possible.

kinda late but since you mentioned linux, there is a project called Waydroid that its basically sort of the same thing as Bluestacks, except it runs the android system natively (with an optional plugin to allow ARM apps to run via translation) so its faster, and also has an option to expose the android apps in their own window on a linux desktop

I used it to run a (sort of) native Apple Music client on my linux desktop back when I was using am

Funnily enough, Apple provides an x86 version of Apple Music for android, so there was no translation/emulation overhead
