Step 4: Last step is to create a json. You can create one by using PCA or use this tutorial here to make one. To make one manually, you can use any text app which allows you to save files as a .json
Feel free to ask for help or suggestions on the forum or on the server

Bonus step: Once done, you can upload your plugin on the store which once approved can be downloaded in-game by anyone or post it on the forum showcase or both! Remember that store plugins must oblige to the store rules

we sometimes let people just starting out submit plugins which are of lower quality, but it really depends on the moderator

Pixly has some pretty major issues with saving properly, so make sure you're aware of that before you use it for big projects

Always use "Save as". Never just hit the "Save" button. It won't actually save the file unless specific changes are made to the file

The dev decided he wanted to be clever by not saving when there aren't changes, but he didn't implement it correctly

Imo Pixel Studio is easier to use than Pixly

Because when I first used Pixly I couldn't figure out the palates and the shaders and stuff because its a much older app and stuff is configured differently so I uninstalled Pixly

Plus it was an APK since I couldn't get the actual app so it didn't help much

So I installed Pixel Studio and I love it

Way easier to make plugins since all the palates are visible and you can make any type of shader (opacity) you want to make your plugin realistic

The only thing you would be wary of in Pixel Studio is the app size

If you end up making too many projects you will encounter a RAM problem and some of the projects might not save correctly

So try not to work on so many projects and you'll be fine 👍
