id probably do an almost invisible layer around it with reallllly low opacity which looks almost invisible but it helps to make it look a lil more blended

yet it's extremely easy and fast to rotate objects using shadows as layers, especially if they are quite cubic, you just make a symmetry of a boat for example, then you change the opacity of the shadows on both sides. I should propose it to some boat creators to help them, but personally the contrast doesn't bother me.
