i mean, i can do a 3px:1.8m calculation in my head, but i also took the full calculus series even though i didn't technically need calc 2 or 3. lot of kids in this community who probably don't wanna be doing real math with decimals for a game they play for fun

pixel studio is amazing

it doesn't have noise brushes or materials, per se, cuz it's developed by a lone indie dev, and some features do cost money, but even the free version is very powerful for animations

the thing i like abt pixel studio is that it has the option to buy cross-platform PRO, so you only have to pay once even if you switch devices

but unlike pixly, no textures or special brushes, so it's a trade-off

it also lacks filters or blend modes

but you can export full sprite sheets which is convenient for theotown purposes

if you're on ios it's probably the most viable pixel art editor

especially if you want to make like, winter/rotation/night frames
