Hello all, i gave a good friend a copy of Thetown on Steam on New Year. Sadly the game crash on loading screen on start. My English writing skills are to bad to text / chat about that ( or someone can speak german with me Theo maybe ?haha )... What a should send to the Email that the Java error Window show on the end to solve the Problem ? Things like reboot or reinstall Game don't work at all. I mean on first start the game works normal only when it is closed and starting again then comes the crashes endless.

That is great, so the cities are still there. Now please ensure that the game has still access to external storage. If that's also the case there might be corruption in one of the city files. To investigate this please consider to send your maps folder to me.

Hi all. I'm new to theotown. I really like the genre. I am a long time ottd player and love transportation. I am thinking theotown has some very buggy traffic systems and I'm sure this is known. I'm hoping to hear if this is an issue that will ever be fixed or not, and or some help with workarounds or less intuitive designs that work better. My main complaint is about oneway traffic and how vehicles move through intersections. It seems like the default behavior is for traffic to change lanes unnecessarily in interactions pretty much causing a two lane reduced to one lane bottleneck. Or other times insisting on making a turn across a lane of traffic. Basically all intersections on a oneway (two lanes) function as a if the intersection was one lane (twoway traffic). This makes oneway traffic lose all benefit, guaranteeing a traffic jam leading to gridlock. Here's my example; it's a highway T intersection with underpasses for cross traffic, all traffic is reduced to a single lane in the circled intersections. Please ping me if you have info or workaround about this behavior, thanks.

That's the current traffic system. Cars seem to use right lane mostly and the other one for overtaking, which they seem to do rarely.

Psuggest overhaul of the traffic system to fix intersections and oneway traffic. The current traffic system makes freeway intersections broken (creates bottlenecks) from unnecessary lane changes. Alternatively I would suggest making road decal barriers functional. Specifically an expressway center median that prevents cross traffic intersections (allowing oneway intersections to merge with an expressway in only one direction). Same is needed for freeways to prevent unnecessary lane changes (exiting the freeway from the left hand lane).

Here's a bug for ya. On steam I cannot completely leave the game. I click exit, and it still says running. If I click stop on steam, it won't stop. It still says Running. Only temporary fix for me is exiting out of steam entirely and rebooting it.

Edit: Figured it out. It's duplicating the regions every time I hit the globe icon.
If anyone could tell me how to get rid of duplicate regions AND bypass this bug, it'd be great.

When people move out, they don't come back to protected buildings
I raised the taxes, they all moved out and i had to re-do my industrial zone (hand placed) and the AI built skyscrapers that i protected so they don't get rebuilt into something else
Now the taxes are back to normal and they are moving into the unprotected buildings
Restarting the game doesn't work
There is demand for those buildings
Happiness is 93-4% so i guess that's not a problem too

i found a bug in beta. idk if its a bug.. from installed plugins list (where your all plugins) everytime i uninstall some of plugins the game will crash. the game just exit itself #bugs-n-crashes #beta-feedback

So here's a bug:
After leaving a text field, the (on screen) navigation bar stays on screen until you've minimized the window.
This happens on the Samsung Galaxy a20 and maybe other phones with an on-screen navigation bar.

(In my case, the easiest way I have to replicate the bug is by opening the keyboard, but it also appears out of nowhere or when some parts of the game's UI are opened)
(the bar stays all the time, the only way to close it is to interact with it, I just open the quick menu and it disappears some time later)
(This bug had already been on my cell phone for too long, even before entering discord, but I always thought it was my cell phone, apparently, more people are happening to them)
