In my country we don't have very strict traffic rules and as a result it causes traffic chaos in roads sometimes during rush hour

And mountain roads can guaranteed need yellow lines to prevent them from overtake but in Indonesia as an example some roads have yellow line in the middle and if it's broken road marking can still overtake vehicles

In your case I'd focus on distribution and variety. That is, make the land uses a bit less bound to grid lines, and make the buildings less all the same in each block. A city or region typically looks less like a planned from above design and more like a controlled mess.

I've only built on 2 small maps, but so far this method eases the congestion in industry near main road.

1. Avoid 4-way junction.
2. Put frontage lane between industry and main road.
