Advance road markings? You mean advanced road? It's in the plugin and to install plugins via the forum. Simply download the files and put it in your plugin folder. Make sure you don't put it in managed plugin folder or sample plugin. You can use any file manager app or the in game file manager

Here are some tips for said cities

get rid of that mindset btw

in european cities, expect alot of curved roads which you can create used mews advanced road or the leafs road plugin (both are free but mews is in the plugin store)
For latin america, it varies but you'd need alot of clumped up building similar to my photo
