I think you shouldn’t put beaches right in the city area if you want it to feel realistic. Cities are mostly concrete, and having two beaches facing each other doesn’t really happen in real life. Usually, beaches are along the coast facing the ocean, like in New York or other big cities near water. The parts right next to the city are more often ports, docks, or just concrete, while the beaches are in separate areas outside the main city.

I think its pretty good, you did well with the spacing around the railroad tracks. You have the right idea in city planning but you dont need to be so compact. Get comfortable with having empty spaces of land, and decorate them later on

You do have a small area to work with already though but you rarely stick with just 1 city in these kinds of games, you'll get the hang of it 👍
