@floral radish we has talking about the ways which the folder plugins could be managed from ingame. The one downside of that though is that it would turn the android version into something similar as on iOS where you need to crack your games local files (in the case of theotown,) to install plugins. Idk if that would really happen though, as Minecraft for instance allows modifications to its local files, for example the worlds, seamlessly.

Wma why not make two separate versions in that case on the two stores. Because to change the way the Androud works would cause uneccary hassle to a large portion. But changing the IOS version would help that minority. It would be...unlikely to have to transfer data in between but a converter could also be implemented if that would mess something up

@mystic ruin I do understand what you mean though. The plugin system should be easy to access. No matter what people say, needing to exit the game to tinker in the file system for anything sets apart a large portion of the userbase. For example, Minecraft has the marketplace as a workaround for this where they can easily offer extra content in an organized store within the game. Theotown has the same thing with the plugin store, which although I think could use some more frequent updating, works perfectly for those types of people, on any platform.

I know how region sizes work, but I doubt if it's possible to customly create a circular one like you want

If the circular format does work, expanding the map should work by just expanding the separate map sizes by the same factor

#

So make each separate map 2 bigger, and the total map size, and you should end up with a larger region

Hi, just got the game for iOS. How far from the road does zones work? Residential seems only to build two squares from the road while commercial can build further. Can I finds this information somewhere?

It's based on the level of building, most of the big residential buildings are 4x4 while the commercials can get up to 8x8. What I would recommend is building the zone 4 away from the road at most, and if you early on the put roads on both sides of the zone to maximize space

@upbeat hedge Yes you can create your own custom regions. #443739759844655104 has a link to a forum post on how to make them.
