You can probably create a new city without really destroying the existing one. But better make a copy of your plugin folder first

If you copied thst map into the region, your city is still there. Pressing New City won't delete anything. But the population resets to 0, and you may lose some RCI buildings due to that.

@halcyon granite not neccessarly. Although, you can import resources from neighboring cities so its easier to grow. One thing to note though is that through the exchange of resources, your importing city pays a fee to the exporting city.

@halcyon granite Basically. The amout of money being transfered depends simply on the amount or resource thats being imported/exported.

Its worth it if you need power or water and dont want to make more plants. Especially when a neighboring city has a surplus of the needed resource.

If you could possibly sum up how I should initially construct my main city, what kind of advice and suggestions would you give me? I'm literally flying blind so anything is useful. I've started by separating the 3 areas in different corners. Other than that I'm just following the prompts lol

I'm pretty sure I over built and now my main square is disasters everywhere so I'm gonna start over and take a more deliberate approach and build up at a more calculated pace.

You asked why the farms looked like slums. It's because the roads are so close together that the farm buildings which are 3x3 fill up the 6x6 farm zones leaving no room for fields to stay.. The fields have 2 workers per 1x1 tile for 18 in 9 tiles. The buildings have at most 12 workers in the same area. So yes, it does affect production.
