The map started off as a disaster test ground/practice in failure and I like how it somehow evolved.

Sometimes creators give them out on the forum, sometimes other places. When I mean sometimes though I mean very rarely. You dont see those often. I think I have only ever used one diamond code. Its best to get diamonds by other means, daily rewards, watching ads, upgrading cities and bus routes.
