Hear me out in a realistic scenario samurai’s and many others had to jump to get the upper hand in combat, I think if you added jumping it could revolutionize this game and make it better from so many different games with the same concept as yours

No, most martial arts, and especially HEMA and kenjutsu they dont teach jumping for a reason. You arent grounded, your attacks have no power. The power in the swing of a sword is not generated by your arms, but from your feet up through all your joints, the tortion of your body culminating in the swing of the sword is what causes power.

Haven’t done much archery have you? Accurately drawing and firing a bow with more than a 40lb draw weight is something from the movies, that’s really not done. From horseback sure but while jumping is a big stretch. Looks cool as hell sure, but Legolas had 3000 years to practice. As for the jump kicks, still leaves you pretty open, and historically were really only used for very specific purposes if I recall correctly.

I get it to a point. One of the things that drew me to swordsman instead of some of the other games is the physics being more realistic, and the armour being taken into account.
